So, I had this great idea for a fanfic today and decided I was going to join this site instead of posting it on fanfiction.net. That was awesome and cool.

I wrote the first chapter right here in the editing interface, finished it all up, and... 215 words? I had written over a thousand words. What went wrong???

I tried using the back button on my browser, since Firefox keeps form entries persistent until the cache is cleared. That didn't work.
