Past and Present tenses mixed together, bad vocabulary, and the worst possible thing: Capitalization error!

After the few month of hell that I had suffered through, I felt like I now have the time and energy to return to writing and I chose to start with a new story idea I have been musing for a while now.

To my surprise, there has been a change in the approval system (le shock) with the addition of auto approval. After waiting on the moderators some six hours in vain, I went and tested the auto approval.
