This week's title comes to you courtesy of King Lear

This being Memorial Day weekend let me start by saying to all you veterans out there, thank you.

This is also the close of Act II of my little tale. So with that let me offer a few reflections.

First, Applejack with a Manehatten accent sounds a lot like Rarity. I've had to make sure to give them rather divergent personalities just to keep track of them.

First note, the title is from As You Like it.

Second note, I believe this is approximately halfway through the outline. Not a hard and fast rule or anything as I've looked ahead and I think some chapter splitting may occur towards the end.

Welcome to bad/good title puns based on Henry V!

When I put the Mane 6 down into the sewers I wanted to directly contradict all the media you see that portrays the sewers as some sort of underground interstate. They are small, dark, filled with all sorts of unpleasant stuff, and they can fill with dangerous gases. The lack of unicorn comfort is a design oversight on their part and another opportunity for me to give Twilight a bad day. This seems to have become my M.O. for this story.

So when I said a few chapters back that I didn't think we'd ever see mind control in the series what I really meant was I'm sure we'll see mind control in the season finale. Anyways, now you know pretty much exactly what Nightmare Moon is doing to the royal guards.

I forgot to mention that last chapter's title was taken from Julius Caesar. Likewise this chapter's title is from The Merchant of Venice.

Okay, repeat after me. I will treat every time a character speaks as the independent sentence it is and will therein follow the proper rules of grammar. See folks, this is what happens when you actually research stuff instead of having a 'suspicion'. Sadly it's a lesson learned too late for chapter six. But writing a chapter while on the border of tripping on painkillers because of your ^$%^ neck and a pinched nerve in your shoulder tends to lead to this sort of place. So bear with the

Dear readers,

NEVER injure your neck. It hurts a lot and it takes forever to heal. That was your public service announcement. Now on to the new chapter!

The lucky play this week is Twelfth Night. Never read it myself but it still provided me a chapter title.

So if this chapter seems a bit rushed in a way it is. Last Friday after posting Chapter Three I did something completely normal. I went running. Only I didn't properly stretch my neck, then I ran on it for two miles, then I slept on it wrong Friday and Saturday, and I didn't at all handle it right during those days. Basically I did a number on my neck and by the time I saw a doctor on Sunday it HURT. Needless to say this cut into writing and editing time.

This weeks title is ripped from The Tempest. Unsurprisingly the play is by Shakespeare

This chapter with its one mention of a bigfoot like legend is as close as you'll ever see to humans in Equestria from me. Nothing against the genre I just think the show about ponies should be 100% about ponies.

Apparently there are people still reading this story, who would've thought?

First off the title has NOTHING to do with Harry Potter. It's a quote from Macbeth.

And now on to bits from the chapter.
