Many kids preferred the red wing. Others preferred the blue one. A few unhappy souls tried to tell their friends that it was the same bird, which was mostly gold.
I'm tired beyond recovery by sleep. It's like my soul is tired. That's the only way I can describe this all-pervading feeling. Like I can't make a smile that isn't somehow insincere.

"Cadenza was your babysitter? Hey that's pretty cool! She was my senpai in our aikido class. She always seemed to be mad at me over something though. For the life of me, I can't guess what it was."

"That little prick kept "saving" me whenever I tried using sacrifice throws on him. He almost dislocated my shoulder several times."
"I have to admit, I had my doubts about you, Queen Chrysalis. But it turns out that you go great with some garlic butter, loaded mashed potatoes, and a half-pound sirloin!"

This is probably the best horse-themed name ever. It'd also be a great name for a metal band. It is, incidentally, the name of the supermassive black hole holding our galaxy together, making it a force of creation, transmutation, and destruction on a scale that most people can't properly conceive of.
It's a funny lesson to learn, you know. Even hollow, plastic happiness is better than none at all. So I'll paint on this smile and we can pretend we're all friends.
I'm leaving. This whole affair has been stupid, and I'm sorry for my contributions to it. This franchise is nothing more than a marketing tool to sell poorly-made toys to children, and as an adult I'm ashamed of its success on me.
