Those who can't do, teach. And those who can't teach, make MLP audio books, apparently.

New reading is live. Hold onto your onions, 'cuz this one's a tear-jerker.
It's a beautifully tragic little story, and Spikeluck is a combo I don't think I'd ever seen before. Roseluck turned out to be a great character choice, given the story's theme, and I also appreciated Avox's subtle symbolism.

I finished the last chapter of "Aftermath of a Fallen Star" earlier today.
About three and a half hours of audio in all. Remember when my goal was one chapter per day? Haha. This holiday schedule is absolute murder, and I don't see it getting better anytime soon, so my next few readings will probably come out as a trickle.
Like my new Avatar? Took me weeks to do in MS Paint.
My work schedule changed recently, and I haven't had as much time to work on recordings as I would have liked. I've been averaging a little under four hours of sleep per night, which I can say very precisely thanks to my new Microsoft Band.
So I finished my editing early today, and decided to listen to some of Illya Leonov's readings. I guess I had heard some of them before, but I remember not being terribly impressed at the time. But today I listened to "Dream," and... I mean, I will never be that good. That reading is a bucking masterpiece. I'm downloading the rest of his stories to put on my phone as we speak.
First chapter of "Aftermath of a Fallen Star" is live.
I've got about 80% of the lines recorded now, and should be able to put out one chapter per day, barring the unforeseen. I won't be cross-posting any more chapter updates here on my blog, to avoid spamming people's feeds. So be sure to subscribe to my YouTube if you want updates, you nine followers.
My reading of "I Watched Her Life" has been my most popular to date by quite a wide margin; I'm rather glad I decided to take the job. It's had more views and upvotes in a single day than any of my others have had in the weeks that they've been up, and I've received several PM's asking about my plans for the rest of "Aftermath of a Fallen Star".
New Reading is live.
My cough has subsided, and I've had my first request!
I recorded the lines last night, but I'm not at all happy with the way it turned out. I thought I did okay while I was recording it, but when I went to edit this morning I was appalled. Who would have thought pulling off a wistful Pony Joe would be so difficult?
