There was a thread about flops and failures... · 5:58pm Jan 18th, 2015
I honestly don't know where the thread went. Or I would have wrote this there.
Waterworn doesn't mean squat when you're an eternal flame, baby!

It's actually been a day since then and I had time to think of something and write something silly while thinking of how I would edit the story then resubmit it. The thing is I'm having trouble messing with it. It's not that I think it of the utmost perfection that can't be altered but because it is the prologue chapter (without me saying outright it is the prologue chapter).
I have a meeting to go to in the morning and I can't sleep. Therefore I will start talking about late night thoughts.
Anyways, let's get the self-promo out of the way. There is a story I've just posted, In The Hundreds And Thousands of Words. It's a story about nothing in particular but everything at all. It is the second story with that name and the second story posted on this website (by me).
This is why I don't use pre-reader or editors. I know my work suffers for in some cases but each edit is driving a wedge between my eyes. And this is me editing my own work.
(Here is some nightmare retardant should things get too scary.)
Cause I'm kinda in a writing transition period. (Learning how to pile on the word count and style)
But seriously, the main reason why I don't usually update consistently is because of two or three thingies points.
Here's the link if you're interested.
TL;DR Best work ignored, run of the mill praised (according to the author)
Now I like Social Sins and Merely A Letter a lot.
Is on the way... It's a little late and probably a bit mean-spirited in a whacky way but a joy to read on a empty stomach. I meant to post it waay earlier today but I had a few technical problems I had to sort out. I don't know when it will drop but it will.
Merry Christmas! I hope you all are as over-stuffed as I am.
Because it didn't snow in my neck of the woods. All it's been is rainy and humid in that drippy way...
Cue snow pictures to tide me over and keep me nice in chilly as I am on the inside.
(This was the smallest I could find.)
But seriously, Merry Christmas Eve to all and to all a restful night!
