The notification you probably received that I've updated RDNOF isn't a new update. I sent the story into EQD and they told me that I needed to fix some things. So, I unpublished it, made the edits, and re-published it. It's slightly longer, and some things have changed, but it isn't a sequel or anything. It's just done differently, and a bit better. Some scenes deleted, some added, some re-written. That's about it.

So, that oneshot I was talking about in my last update got approved a couple days ago. I'm very proud of its success. I also hate it.

So, It's got 30 something upvotes, zero down (woo!) and about 28 favorites. A 7k oneshot that I started writing at 5am Monday and finished 4:30 pm the same day has not only more upvotes, but less downvotes, more ratings in general, and more favorites than my 45k Civil War crossover. The f*ck?

Yeah, I'm a bit overdue, I know. Yesterday I pumped out a 7k oneshot and am waiting on that to be approved, so look for that soon! (If you're into slice-of-life stuff).

Also, I'm kind of in the middle of a 10k fanfic contest, and I'm restarting the concept all over again. Deadline's Sunday. Procrastination level: 58. So, I'll be somewhat preoccupied with that.

Bronycon's, tomorrow, and EQD, one of my most visited sites, is going nuts over that.

The convention is only a little over an hour from where I live, but I don't have the money for it. To make it worse, I would be able to volunteer and get in for free and do work and meet awesome people IF I was a couple months older.

I feel like Tantalus stuck in that freaking lake, hungry and thirsty but unable to eat or drink.

And, it sucks.

I know it sucks. I didn't have as much thought and planning into this one as I did other ones, and, in my opinion, lacks a lot of the depth the others do. But, there will be better updates in the future. Stay with me, those who are.

...and that is that I can't write two stories that need to be updated simultaneously. I'm sorry, but I am absolutely drained of ideas for High Violet right now. I don't want to be late with this one, but at the same time I don't want to give people a half-assed chapter. So, taking this in mind, I'm putting it on hiatus.
