New chapter is out, and my editor showed surprising restraint in not finding a way to physically harm me while reading through it. Pretty sure he still wants to though.

Almost makes me want to write a chapter that's nothing but Octavia....

Hey guys! No big update here, just that I'm finally feeling better, and the chapter's coming along. Sorry it's taking me so long. To make up for it, this chapter's nice and big! Also my proofreader I'm pretty sure wants to strangle me for what I did to Octavia.

Hopefully, I'll have finished it soon, and I can pass it off to him so he can suffer enjoy reading through it!

So yeah, chapters 13 as well as an interlude with Celestia and Luna are out, but I'm starting to get sick, and my brain doesn't do the creative thinky things very good when I get sick and start taking medicine, so...I dunno when the next chapter will be out. Hooray!

I mean I'll give it a shot, buuuut I prefer to do my writing when I'm in an established mindset and not a temporary one, so yeah. You get the idea. Then again, maybe I write better when I'm on codeine! Perhaps we'll find out.

So, here's the thing about the house I'm living in. I moved into the place a while ago after my stepfather finished rebuilding the place by himself, and I can honestly say I've never lived anywhere that had all these problems. It's extremely dusty, my kitchen sink basically exploded water everywhere and flooded the kitchen, and the house still isn't finished being built. So I was just sitting here, lying to myself about actually finishing up the next chapter while watching Youtube and playing Freedom Planet, when suddenly I hear someone scream my name. I go into the kitchen from my room, wonder what that really loud noise is, and it's only when I step into the kitchen that I feel the water around my feet and a veritable geyser of water shooting up from under the kitchen sink.

For those of you who may or may not care, I won't be posting any spoilers or anything, and I'd prefer that none of you do either, but...the ending to Xenoblade Chronicles X. How 'bout that gigantic plothole, huh? Anyone else beating their heads on their desks over it? Because it legitimately soured the game for me somewhat, since it made me feel like all the time I put into the game was rendered utterly pointless.

Alright, folks! The torticollis is all gone, so now I can get back to work on the story!

Just lemme get that cat o' nine tails out to flagellate myself back into the habit of working on it instead of playing Xenoblade Chronicles X all the time.
