They say if I post an update within the year, there will be six more weeks of winter.
Just letting you guys know that, as promised in the last blog, I'm getting writing done this week. I'm currently working on the next This Can't Be Happening chapter, which is now about 20% of the way done. I WAS going to jump right into the next Lyra chapter after I finish it(which will hopefully be tomorrow), but I have instead decided to work on the second chapter to Don't Go To Sleep instead. In fact, for the remainder of October I will be working on Don't Go To Sleep. I mean, it's a horror
The past couple have weeks have been pretty busy. Chemistry in particular has been piling on the work, with Statistics also trying to get in some good piles of homework. It's leading up to this being the halfway mark for the semester, so it's midterms time. Fortunately, I'm doing pretty good on the Midterms for both classes. On top of that, football season is getting into full swing, so we've had extra band practices and done some competitions. I'm also helping out in running two different
Within the course of one week, my car has not only endured a flat tire, it has also gone through a crash. Indeed. I was taking my girlfriend out to lunch, when the people in the next lane decided my day wasn't going eventful enough. The cool thing is, despite going through all of that this week, my car still looks good as new. It is for this reason that I declare my car: Chuck Norris Car. My car looked death in the eyes and made it cry. My car is the reason why Waldo is hiding. My car won the
Last night when I logged off to go to bed, I had 41 watchers. Today, when I woke up, I had 40. Someone had decided that they no longer wanted to hear if I posted something new. And although it seems like a small thing, it has got me to doing some thinking as an author.
So I get another year older tomorrow and what better way to spend the birthday night than with writing? I've been thinking over a bunch of different concepts for the Lyra chapter, and I think I've got one in mind that should work well. In fact, I think I have pretty much all of Lyra's storyline planned out now. If I get it done before the weekend, I might work on a one-shot idea I have during early Saturday before I go spend the day with friends. Morgan was actually born three days after me so
It's finally up. Clocking in at over 7,500 words, I'm finally back on my fan fiction schedule. This calls for a celebratory dancing video.
As it stands right now, the next TCBH chapter is nearly 5,000 words(yeah, you heard me). I sent it off to Brony_Fife and now it should be up here soon. Personally, I can't tell you guys how good it feels to be back on schedule for updating.
So this Friday I wore one of my Brony shirts to school, this one being the pretty common one that says "Brony" on it and has a flying Rainbow Dash under the word. I walked into chemistry to sit my backpack down and prepared to go sharpen my pencil when the next student walked in. I didn't know who he was, but he noticed my shirt and was quick to say, "I don't get bronies." I kind of chuckled and said that I knew the show wasn't for everyone, when the guy behind me then asked this guy what
Huzzah for actually accomplishing some writing! Jeez, it looks like being in school really does help me get more stuff done.
Morgan's chapter should be done this weekend. First Lyra side chapter may or may not also be done this weekend. We'll have to wait and see. If not, then I'll try to have it early next week.
