After months of being horrible and lazy, the update is released!

I don't have any excuse, other than I got too complacent, and too focused on small details. An entire scene that kept me from working on Chapter 7 for two months isn't even there anymore! But now, hopefully this will be the start of me being more consistent, and bringing more of the story out faster.

Editing is mostly done on both chapters, I am just waiting for a while for one editor and to let the chapter sit so I can come back to them with a fresh mind.

As such, they won't be posted until after a 5 day vacation I have coming up on the 20th (and probably not until the very end of the month), but do note that they are technically completed chapters now. It's happening!

Things are actually really close now.

Chapter 6 has had two revisions, and I think I'm on the last edit run of it. There isn't much really to change conceptually anymore.

Work isn't even entirely tiring me out. I just am not writing as fast. Fight scenes tend to drain me mentally, I guess.

After I post the next two chapters, there's gonna be a big announcement. I'm not sure when that'll happen though. Soon (tm)

So I think some of you are expecting a certain chapter to come up today or tomorrow, ya?

My pacing is just off again, and it's going to be just about 5k words of writing before Cornerstone actually reaches Twilight. There's action, but it's still not as interesting. Regardless of this though, those 5k just aren't done yet. I don't know what's up with me, but I just couldn't write enough this month to keep up to schedule.

Sadly, while chapter 5 is one step closer to done, it isn't quite what I wanted. It's a little bit over 4k words, which you'll notice is pretty short compared to previous chapters, and this is because if I were to go on into the next big "event," then it might take 5k words just to resolve it. So there's a bit of explanation, and a tiny bit of plot progression, but not much else. I do apologize if people find the chapter boring.
