The Return of Harmony, Rainbow Dash stays loyal to the Princess until Discord forcibly corrupts her (make note that the other ponies except Fluttershy were turned by more psychological means rather than physical ala Dash and Shy) When Twilight un-discords her, she immediately leaps into action and helps save the day. Pretty freaking heroic.
