Quick blog post here to say that I'm still working on chapter nine. It's not going to be a massive 22k+ word epic or anything, it'll probably clock in around 10k. Due to a combination of writers block and some real-world stuff, I haven't had as much time to write as I usually do. In my defense, though, I am now an uncle! That's kinda neat.

Sweet Celestia! Once again, I intend to write two pages, and end up with many, many more.

Oh well, I don't think anyone's gonna complain about twelve pages of clop after it's been absent for five chapters. Consider it a bonus!

What's that? TWO chapters? Yes sir, you read that right. Chapter seven ended up being so long (20k+ words!) that I had to split it into two parts. Again. Seriously, I think I ended up typing for a good six hours yesterday, and another four today, and that's ON TOP OF the 15+ hours I sank into it over the week. I was only gonna do so for, like, two hours today! Really! But you guys know me, I'm not exactly one for brevity.
