Due to personal reasons, I am officially taking a break from my stories. I don't know when I'll come back to them, but I will still be around from time to time. I'm also watching the MLP movie today, so I'll be sure to post about it when I'm done watching it.

EDIT: The MLP movie was pretty good. The plot had some problems, but I thought it was a lot of fun to watch, and I loved all the new characters they added.

I just watched the English versions on Equestria Daily, since I couldn't stand to wait until July. So here's my thoughts.

Dance Magic was a good, harmless little story. It was cool seeing four of the five Shadowbolts again (though why Indigo Zap was absent is beyond me), and got to see a little more of their friendly side. Also, it was interesting to see the EQG incarnation of Rarity--or any of the Rainbooms other than Sunset/Twilight--get an important role.

I just read the synopsis for Mirror Magic, the third EQG special coming out this year, and it looks like Sunset Shimmer is FINALLY coming back home to Equestria. I just found out that John Wetton died. He was the lead singer of ASIA, one of my favorite bands.

On a side-note, I'd like to mention he was also my personal recommendation of a hypothetical singing voice for Radiant "Red" Dawn Daystar, a character from my fanfiction Sunset Eclipsed and its sequels.

I'm just posting this to get it off my chest, before I continue taking my break from MLP.

I literally just finished watching it, so I thought I'd share my opinions.

It was pretty good, for what it was. It didn't end the way I hoped it would, but I didn't expect it to, either. Regardless, it was definitely an improvement over the idiot-fest that was Friendship Games.

PROS:
* Sunset Shimmer was awesome, as always. She was smart, logical, and even a little sassy. Plus, she got an awesome motivational song.
