Inspiration for Today’s Devotional: “Sparkle’s Seven”

This episode presented a rather interesting perspective that hadn’t yet been explored on the show. For most of the series, when considering Spike’s relationship with Twilight Sparkle and her family, it was easy to conclude that it was a friendship with Twilight at best and perhaps a master/pet relationship at worst, while any relation to her parents or brother was friendship-only or even non-existent.
