Now that I'm not in a hurry, I can tell you that you're one of the very few people who have actually remembered the events of the intro chapter and have linked it with the current progress of the story... the feels have been doubled

Don't worry though! Just keep in mind the main theme of the story, and you'll see that a happy ending is still very much possible
