Well, the one thing I like is the Cold War setting. 1955 is the year of the Khrushchev Thaw, but the danger of the world plunging in nuclear war is still very vivid. The country of colored equines suddenly appearing in the middle of Pacific may sway the brittle balance between NATO and Warsaw Pact. Or may not, if Celestia will be... diplomatic. Anyway, this is not going to be a fair game.
Also, liked the way of Equestria appearing on the Earth.
