There was some confusion on our end as to the details of the prison where Cutler was taken. I thought it was kind of an experimental lab where subjects were studied to determine whether or not they would be a potential threat to the land, but apparently not. So there will have to be a major overhaul of the latest chapter, with the mad scientists. Which is a shame, because it took me ages to come up with the name 'Crossfade'.

I'm sorry that I keep on changing details in the story, but I've had to in order to make it work. I don't think I'll need to go back and change anything in future, but if I do it shouldn't be anything major, and will not interfere with the actual story. More likely it'll just be a small detail or two that I'm not happy with.

On a lighter not, new cover art! Yay!

I kindasorta changed some things in the story...So instead of a single, smooth piece of unrealistically bendy wood, Cutler is made up of interlocking pieces, more like a timberwolf, or a spriggan from Skyrim.

Sorry for changing this, but I felt like it made more sense and it'll also make a later part of the story much easier to write.

I know it sucks, but I felt like the story needed some kind of picture. If any of you know anyone who can do anything better (not necessarily for free although that would be ideal) please let me know.

So I probably won't be putting up a chapter this weekend. It depends on when we leave for home on Sunday, if we get back early enough I might be able to finish it off, but otherwise I'll most likely have it done by Monday.

The newest chapter is up. It's pretty dialogue-heavy, so let me know how it turns out as I'm not sure. It was necessary though, in order to set up the next bit of story.

I really, really did intend for a new chapter to come out today. I honestly did.

In fact, I wrote about 700 or so words of the next chapter, before I got stuck. Afterwards, I took a break, which lasted a whole lot longer than I anticipated. I managed to kill most of the evening just slacking off in the hotel room watching TV. Afterwards, I decided to try and write some more, but couldn't make anything work. So I went for a walk.

I just had a bizarre dream. At least, it was for me because I very rarely have dreams. When I do, they are usually pretty dull and I wake up alright.

Not this one, though.

From what I can remember, I was at a house during some kind of social get-together for parents who ended up dragging their children along too. I wouldn't normally have to go to these kinds of things, as I am old enough to decide whether I want to, but for some reason I ended up going in my dream.

I'm not exactly happy with what I have so far. I've decided to rewrite some minor details and to split the chapters up so they're smaller.

So, When I post chapters two and three at some point today, chapter two will basically be the other half of chapter one. So you will have already read it. Sorry for this, but I don't like long chapters and I have no idea how I managed to come up with a way to make a train journey last over five thousand words.

Yeah, turns out I've not been as busy as I envisioned, so some plans for the next chapter of Glyph are taking fruition.

So, the next chapter might be out this weekend. But no guarantees.
