It was a little embarrassing for a bunch of would-be thieves to be sitting at a lonely gas station along the highway, but that's what happens when the van only gets 8 miles per gallon.

Going back and reading some of Harmony's Creed to be consistent for the sequel and Under Loyalty's Flag led me back to some chapters. Usually, when I look back a chapters, I find some terrible errors and writing choices that make me go "was I high when I wrote this?" However, sometimes I also impress myself.

The city-wide clocks rang out in unison, signaling for everypony to rise with the early dawn. Nopony woke up too early and nopony woke up too late. Every single morning at 6 AM, the entire city would rise and start their new day.

So, like always, I slid out of my bed and looked at the calendar. Today was March 24, 1084. What a lovely day it was going to be! If it was the same as yesterday and as identical as tomorrow, today would truly be perfect.
