Hey all. Vash here. Unless a miracle happens and I suddenly no longer require sleep, I'm simply not going to have time to write the next chapter this week. Additionally, seeing as Chapter 25 is likely going to be the last chapter of the main story (I do have a (short?) epilogue planned), I'm gonna be taking extra effort to make sure the story ends how I feel it should, so it will probably take a bit longer in the writing and editing processes. I've got a boatload of homework this week (two papers, an exam, and a project a bit later, as well as my job), so I'm probably not gonna have time to write Chapter 24. On the plus side, I have almost finished another short story for Tales From the Justiceverse. It just needs the finishing touches and a pre-read, so you can look forward to that most likely on Monday or Tuesday evening.

Title pretty much covers it. Three exams in three days. I figured for sure not having work this week would give me plenty of time to write a new chapter, then midterms happened. I'll try to get a new chapter out on Friday, but the odds are pretty slim. See you all next week, hopefully.

One, sorry for Chapter 17 being late. It'll be up in a couple minutes. Someone called in sick at work and they called me in to go run a cash register for four hours, smack in the window of when I normally update.

Second, the minichapter will be delayed a couple days after my pre-reader noticed some glaring continuity errors. It will be up before next week's update, as soon as tomorrow or Thursday, but almost certainly no later than Sunday.

Hey all! Just posted chapter 14 of DoJKS, and I hope you all enjoy it. As a heads up, my pre-reader will be on vacation next week (lucky bastard's going to MAGFest...), and she returns on Tuesday. As such, it's possible she'll be too tired to pre-read, due to travelling and such like things, and Chapter 15's release may be pushed back a day or two as a result.
