Can't sleep. Thoughts will eat me. · 2:55pm Nov 7th, 2013

Finally, FINALLY, had a bit of a breakthrough last night because I had insomnia. Turns out that staring at the ceiling for two hours will get a good brain moving!

A bad brain will fill that time with The Girl from Ipanema.

Close but Far.... · 10:40pm Sep 1st, 2013

Obviously failed to meet my deadline of at least one chap a month. August turned out to be a real shite month and I'll be on the watch for it this time next year.

New work scheduale starts Tuesday. It will give me more oppurtunities to sit down and write.

P.S. I give my word that this story will have a conclusion and that I will not leave it unfinished.

Okay.

This last month hit me a lot harder than I thought it could and I ended up in a bit of an unseemly depression spiral. I'm not saying this to be dynamite-fishing for compliments or concern, just letting those of you who follow me know that I am both alive and back in the swing of writing.

Exhaustion Stinks · 10:17pm Jul 30th, 2013

So I have discovered that Summer is the busy time for my job which has me going 10/4. While that might not seem much, but then there's a day running around to get to places that are only open during my shift, the next day is house work, and the day after is prepping meals for the next week; so when I finally sit down in front of a computer, my mind is so numb that I just stare at the page wonder what to do (that or search for online comics).

Wow... Spent all Sunday writing. Seven pages.

Yeah, I can see why it takes authors several years to get off the ground, putting words to the page in between a full time job and at home chores is painfully slow. Still, I'm not giving up. I've had trouble with half-finished projects in the past, so I'm dedicated to doggedly pursuing the end of this tale and to, for once, wrap up a project that I'm proud of.

On that note:

And she's up!

Yes indeed mares and bucks, I'm officially back in action! Read up, enjoy, and let me know what you think!

P.S. Ah... whups, I don't have to 'unpublish' every time I want to edit, I only have to hit 'save' when I'm done. Ah-ha-ha, lesson learned.

Progress Part 2 · 12:47am Jun 24th, 2013

Okay, so a funeral, as it turns out, takes up alot more time and energy than I had thought. Since my wife's family looses someone almost once a year, it's old hat for her; but for me it's a brand new barrel of figs.

That and starting a ten-hour a day work scheduale can really take a bite out of your time and energy.

So my wife and I have been helping my mother-in-law take care of her father for several years now. Last Friday he went into the hospital and had a rapid decline in health. He's stablized for now, but that means that I've been swamped cleaning house, helping settle in-laws into spare areas (couch, floor, bathtub, wherever they're comfortable), and offering emotional support.

Translation: Not as much work on Chpater 2 of OUTWaste than I would have wanted.

And we're off · 3:01pm May 25th, 2013

So I planned, polished, and finally posted the first chapter of my own Fallout Equestria Side-Story/Expansion/DLC. Now just to sit back and wait for the accolades to come pouring in.

Riiiiiiight. Yeah, no. Now it'stime to get back to the desk to keep working on chapter two. Which I'm glad is already in rough format since in real life I will be helping my family cope with the death (and subsequent fallout*) of an elderly relative.
