5 mares confess their feelings to Twilight and now she faces a tough decision on which mare she wants to court her. The problem, 3 are princesses, 1 is her friend, and the other is a wonderbolt. For Twilight, this will be the toughest decision of her life.

I have had this idea in my head for a while and I wanted to share it. You get to say who she picks, all you have to do is leave a comment on which of the 5 mares you want Twilight to pick, and tell me why. The mare with the most votes will be the one that Twilight picks.
Wasn't able to put Rainbow dash's tag but she is in the story. And no Shining Armour does not exist in this story.
It's a beautiful day outside, birds are singing, flowers are blooming, a perfect time to be outside and enjoy the sun. But Twilight was in her castle reading a book, well, at least trying to read, she couldn't keep her mind off of those five mares that confessed their true feelings to her, and it was really getting to her. Twilight closed the book she was trying to read and placed it back on the shelf where she got it.
"Ugh... why can't I keep my mind off of them" Twilight said walking to the door.
Twilight opened the door with her magic before closing it as she walked out. Twilight was making her way down the hall of her castle and up the stairs to her bedroom. Twilight stopped just outside her bedroom and whispered to her self.
"Maybe I will know what to do after a quick nap, I mean I have been up all night just thinking about them and I know I am gonna have to pick one of them to court me".
Twilight used her magic to open the door to her bedroom and walked in closing it behind her before making her way to her bed. Twilight yawned and was happy to be able to get some rest before having to make a REALLY tough decision that not only will change her life but the mare she wants to be with, Twilight began thinking of the mares. 'Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Rainbow Dash or Spitfire, ugh, I can't decide'. Twilight knew it was gonna be a hard decision, choosing the mare she will spend her life with, Twilight just hoped that she will at least be able to be friends with the others still. Twilight walked over to her bed, laid down on it and put her head on her pillow and drifted off in to sleep.
3 HOURS LATER
Twilight woke up and checked the time on her clock, '12pm'. Twilight got up out of bed and stretched her limbs letting out a cute yawn doing so. Twilight was about to leave when a scroll appeared in front her as hit the ground. Twilight took the scroll in her magic and looked at it.
"This is the Canterlot seal, it might be important so I better read it".

Twilight rolled the letter up and placed it on her night stand before opening her bedroom door and walking out closing the door behind her. Twilight was making her way to the front doors of her castle when she began to think aloud about the letter.
"All of us?... wait" Twilight froze in place as the sudden realization of what those three words meant before practically bursting through her front doors in a panic "Does this mean that their all there waiting for me to make the decision?!" Twilight paused a moment thinking about it then continued "That has to be it, there is no other way to take it!". Twilight flared her wings and burst off the ground in much haste heading towards Canterlot as fast as her wings would let her.
Twilight was about maybe 10 minutes from Canterlot by now because of how fast she was flying, this gave Twilight some time to think about the letter that Princess Celestia sent her. 'Is it just me or are they a little to eager to know who I will choose'. As Twilight was thinking she didn't know she was already in Canterlot. Twilight landed in the middle of the street, she looked around seeing ponies going about their day, she stopped and looked at one particular unicorn, the dreaded Blueblood. Twilight could think of only one thing... that he was a total stuck up bitch, but she didn't have time to think of anything else because she had to get to the castle so Twilight began to walk to the castle where she will have to make a really tough choice that she was both scared and a little, just a little bit happy to make because she will be able to spend the rest of her life will the pony she loved. Twilight was almost at the castle now when she started to slow down and began to think out loud again but only she wasn't thinking about all five of the mares, no, she was thinking only about one, and that was Spitfire .
"You know, Spitfire is the captain of the Wonderbolts, and I have known her for awhile now. When we first met I thought she was just another Rainbow Dash, brash, arrogant, demanding, and filled with way to much pride. But once I got to know her she was actually pretty kind, and well, cute. I realized that Spitfire is only the way she is to her team and all the recruits because she wants the best out of them. She does this because she cares about them, she gives them respect and they give her the same respect back to her and that's something that I like about her, tough but fair. When I am making my decision I will remember this".
Twilight arrived at the castle and went inside, she made her way to the throne room door when she was met by two royal guard ponies, "I have business with the Princess, please let me in" Twilight said looking at the guards. The two guards looked at each other for a second then both nodded, they opened the doors in unison. Twilight walked in as the doors closed behind her, Twilight was then greeted by the five mares in front of her.
"Greetings, my faithful Twilight" Celestia said with a warm, welcoming, and calm tone as always but a hint of glee was also present in her voice. 'I just want to sweep Twilight off of her hooves and kiss her all over'.
"Greetings, we welcome you Twilight" Luna said with a cheery attitude. 'I want to walk over there and plant a long kiss on those lips'.
"Hello Twily, its always great to see you" Cadance said in her ever cheerful tone. 'Oh Twilight, I want you so badly'.
"sup Twi, hows it been" Rainbow said looking as confidant as ever. 'I want to hold you and never let go, Twi'.
"Hey hon, hope your getting out and using those wings" Spitfire said in her scratchy voice. 'I cant wait to preen those feathers of yours Twilight'.
"Hello everypony its nice to see you too"
Twilight walked forward and stopped making sure there was enough room for all of them. Twilight was nervous, well, nervous was an understatement, more like mentally panicking. Twilight took a deep breath trying her best to calm her self down and when she calmed down enough she spoke.
"You all want to know who I have chosen to court me" Twilight looked at all them a few times before continuing "The one I have chosen is...."
Celestia was in her bedchamber sitting down sipping her favorite tea, Moonleaf tea, its taste was very sweet like blueberries with honey and an almost unnoticeable taste of apricot in it, but Celestia has been drinking this tea for many years so she is able to tell that there's apricot. Most ponies who drink that tea can't even tell that there's and extra flavor in it, but Celestia could easily tell which flavors were in moonleaf tea. Celestia placed her cup on the saucer and placed it on a nearby table, she got up and decided to go for a moonlight stroll through the royal gardens. Celestia opened the door with her magic and closed it behind her.
"Your majesty, where are you going?" The royal guards said in unison
"Don't worry about me guards i'm just going for a walk in the gardens" Celestia said in her motherly tone.
"Do you need us to come with you?"
"Haha, no its alright, I will be fine" Celestia said walking down the hall. Before the guards could say anything else, she was already gone making her way to the gardens.
Celestia arrived at the gardens, she walked down its pathway stopping at some moments to sniff the flowers she came across, tulips, roses, violets (her favorite), and lilacs. She found a nice spot to sit in the center of the garden and think, well, think about the only pony that's been on her mind for awhile and the special day tomorrow.
Twilight was running around her castle library frantically not knowing what to do.
"Twilight, calm down your gonna hit something" Spike said as he was looking at Twilight running around the room
"Calm down. CALM DOWN!?. How am I gonna calm down I have been asked out by 5 mares Spike and they're all this week".
"Oh"
"I can't believe I accepted to go out on 5 dates with 5 different mares!, this is not something I can calm down about. I have a date with Celestia tomorrow. A date with Rainbow Dash on Tuesday. A date with Cadance on Wednesday. A date with Spitfire on Thursday. And a date with Luna on Friday. I am booked the whole week now Spike, and I have no idea why they asked me out at all."
"Twilight, just calm down and get some sleep you will know what to do in the morning, you always do".
Twilight was doing her best to calm down and, well, it was working. When she was calm and collected she finally spoke
"Thanks spike, i'll get some sleep and see what I can do before my date tomorrow"
"Your welcome, now get to bed I have to clean up this mess you made"
Twilight looked around the room seeing books everywhere on the ground some opened and some closed. Twilight put a hoof behind her head and rubbed it "hehe". Spike just looked at Twilight with a raised brow before shoving her out the door. Spike closed the door and went for his chair and pulled out his comic book he was reading, it was 'The Mane-iac returns, a hair-razing revenge'.
"Now where was I".
Twilight made her way to her room and opened the door and closed it behind her. Twilight walked up to her bed and laid down on it thinking of all the events that happened yesterday as she drifted off to sleep.
FLASHBACK
Twilight was walking around her castle reading a book like she does sometimes, when she heard a knock at her door. Twilight wondered who was at her door so she closed her book and walked up to it and opened the door, when she did she saw Spitfire there.
"Um...hi Spitfire what brings you here?."
"Oh I just wanted to know if your free on Thursday, because that's the only day I have off this week."
"Yes, i'm free on Thursday Spitfire, but, why?."
"Oh nothing, I just wanted to hang out with you hon, that's all."
"Well, by 'hang out', I mean go flying together."
"Okay, that sounds fun, I guess I will see you Thursday."
With that Spitfire nodded her head happily and flew off .
"I'm going flying with Spitfire, this should be fun." Twilight said closing the door behind her.
Twilight walked back through the halls of her castle and into the map room. Twilight found where she left her book and began to read where she left off. Twilight was reading for about an hour when she heard a knock at her door.
"Who could that be?"
Twilight put her book down on the cutie map and walked to the door again. When she opened the door she saw Cadance was there.
"Cadance! Its so nice to see you, I didn't know you were in town."
"It's nice to see you too Twilight, and i'm in town for the week and i wanted to spend time with you. Are you free on Wednesday?"
"Of course i'm free on Wednesday." Twilight said gleefully.
"That's wonderful to hear Twilight." Cadance said happily before continuing. "The Starswirl exhibit is in town and I was thinking we could go and enjoy ourselves."
Twilight had completely forgotten that the Starswirl exhibit was in town. "I. Would. Love to go to the Starswirl exhibit with you, this is going to be so much fun."
Cadance walked up to Twilight and hugged her which Twilight accepted happily.
"Would you like to come in for tea Cadance?" Twilight said still hugging each other.
"I would, but I have to attend to royal business in Canterlot, i'm sorry Twilight."
"Oh, well, I shouldn't keep you any longer then Cadance."
Cadance released Twilight from their hug and waved Twilight good-bye before flying off. Cadance wanted to stay with Twilight a little bit longer but she couldn't, she had to return to Canterlot for royal business. Twilight watched Cadance fly off before turning around and going back inside the castle to continue reading her book on magical theory which she wanted to finish. Twilight walked back to the map room and sat back down on her throne, she then levitated her book with her magic and began to read where she left off.
Twilight was reading for about thirty-minutes when she heard another knock at her door, Twilight was getting a little tired of being interrupted so many times. Twilight put her book down, again, and walked to the door to see who it was this time. Twilight opened the door and saw that it was none other than the sun goddess her self.
"P-princess Celestia, what are you doing here?" Twilight asked nervously.
"Twilight, please just Celestia is fine."
"Y-yes pri-Celestia."
"So Twilight, I was wondering if you were free on Monday, because we haven't seen each other in a while and I wanted to spend some time with you." If Celestia thought she wasn't nervous then she would be lying because she nervous but she show it.
"That sounds wonderful Celestia, I would love too."
Celestia was overjoyed to hear that her faithful student was free. "If its not to much trouble Twilight, can I come in for some tea."
"Oh of course you can, right this way." Twilight said motioning Celestia inside her castle.
Twilight led Celestia to the kitchen and told her sit down at the table. Twilight left Celestia alone so she can go fix the tea for herself and the princess. Celestia was alone at the table thinking to herself.
'I'm so happy Twilight wanted to go on a date with me, even thought I didn't mention it was a date, but she still said yes and that makes me so overjoyed.'
"I'm back with the tea." Twilight snapped Celestia out of her thoughts.
Twilight walked to the table and set down a tea cup for Celestia and herself. "I hope you like the tea." Twilight poured the tea in Celestias cup then her own. Celestia picked up her cup in her magic and took a sip, Celestias eyes burst open and looked at Twilight.
"Twilight, this tea, is amazing!" Celestia said looking at Twilight.
"Um... thank you Celestia." Twilight felt a little blush happening.
Celestia and Twilight started talking to each other about what was happening with their lives and sometimes meaningless chatter. They both finished their tea and began walking to the door together. Twilight opened the door for Celestia so she could walk out first with Twilight coming second. Celestia turned around and thanked Twilight.
"Thank you for the tea Twilight."
"Anytime Celestia." Twilight said very happily.
They both exchanged hugs with each other before saying their good-byes.
"Good-bye Twilight."
"Good-bye Celestia."
Celestia and Twilight waved good-bye to each other before Celestia flew off back to Canterlot. Twilight turned around and walked back inside her castle... again. She sat down on her throne and began reading her book where she left off.
"That was nice and relaxing, talking to Celestia." Twilight said to her self. Twilight was reading her book again trying very hard to finish it. After about an hour or so she was over half way done with it when Twilight heard a loud crash coming from a window in the room. Twilight put her book down and ran right over to Rainbow Dash, seeing if she was hurt anywhere.
"Rainbow! are you ok?." Twilight said, concerned for her friend.
"Yeah... i'm fine." Rainbow said dizzly holding her head with her hooves.
"You don't sound fine, are you sure you're ok?"
Rainbow shook her head rapidly back and forth before getting up and responding. "Ya see, i'm fine, really." Rainbow said puffing out her chest. Twilight looked at her with a raised eyebrow before sighing and giving in, there was no way she was going to win.
"If you say so." Twilight reluctantly said still not believing that Rainbow was fine. "Why are you here any way?"
"Oh, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang with me on Tuesday, if your free that is."
"You know your the fourth pony to ask me to be with them today. I'm sensing a pattern here now." Twilight rubbed her chin with a hoof for a second before shrugging thinking it was just a coincidence and left it at that. "Oh I haven't answered your question yet, sorry, my answer is yes, i'm free on Tuesday."
"Awesome, that's all I needed to know so see you later Twi." Rainbow unfurled her wings and took flight to the window she came in, Rainbow waved good-bye to Twilight and flew off leaving that rainbow streak behind her like she always does.
"Well, I guess I have to fix the window now." Twilight sighed as she used a mending spell to fix the broken window. Twilight looked at the window and realized it was night time."Well thats just great I didn't get to finish my book!" Twilight said angrily walking to her room. She opened the door and walked inside closing it behind her.
"Hello Sparkle."
"AAAAAHHHH" Twilight screamed jumping in the air.
"We apologize for frightening you." Luna said walking out of the shadows.
"Princess Luna, its you. Wait, what are you doing her?"
"Sparkle, please, call us Luna, and we came to ask if you are free on Friday."
Twilight finally calm responded "Yes Luna, i'm free on Friday. But why?"
"We wish to spend time with you Sparkle and... Maybe do some star-gazing together." Luna said blushing at the last part.
"That sounds fun, I cant wait to spend time with you." Twilight said happily.
"I do apologize for cutting our time short but I have to attend to my nightly duties." Luna said sadly because she didnt want to leave Twilight.
"Oh, well I guess I will see you Friday then Luna." Twilight said walking up to Luna and giving her hug which was returned.
"Good-bye Sparkle."
"Good-bye Luna."
Luna opened the balcony doors and flew off back to Canterlot. Twilight watched Luna fly off before walking back inside and use her magic to shut the balcony doors. Twilight got in bed and wrapped up ready to get some sleep.
"Well at least I have one day to prepare." With that Twilight drifted off to sleep.
END FLASHBACK
Today was monday, and Twilight knew what day that was. It was her and Celestias date today but the bad thing was that Twilight didn't know what time to meet Celestia. Twilight began pacing back and forth thinking when a scroll appeared in front of her before dropping on the floor. Twilight used her magic to pick up the scroll and read it.
Dear Twilight please forgive me for not giving the time of our date I want you to be here at the castle at 7pm don't be late. And there will be a carriage that will stop by to get you around 6:30. Oh and you don't need to dress-up just come here as you are.

Twilight took the scroll in her magic and placed it on a nearby table.
"Hmmmm, its only 4pm right now so I have got some time to spare before my date with Celestia. I still dont know why those five asked me out."
Twilight decided to get some reading done before she had to leave for her date.
2 and half hours later
Twilight was reading her book on Magical Theory when she heard a knock at her door.
"That's most likely the guards here to get me." Twilight closed her and walked to the door to open it.
"Hello your highness, we are here to escort you to the castle." The guards said in unison bowing low.
"Thank you." Twilight got in the carriage and with flap of the guards wings they were off to Canterlot.
While being taken to Canterlot Twilight decided to look at the scenery. The lush green forest and the birds chirping their little tune set Twilights mind at ease as she got closer and closer to her destination.
Celestia was waiting outside of the palace where Twilight was supposed to arrive. And let's just say that Celestia was REALLY nervous about her date with Twilight. She was so nervous that it was easily seen on her face, which she tried to dismiss but she couldn't, no matter how hard she tried.
"Twilight will be here any minute now, does my mane look good, how about my hooves, are they nice, ohhh why am I so nervous." Celestia said trying her best not to panic. No amount of royal training could prepare her self for this date.
Celestia watched as she saw the chariot land and have Twilight walk towards her giving her a hug which the princess returned excitedly.
"Princess its so nice see you again." Twilight said happily, letting go of Celestia.
"It is always good to see you too Twilight and I thought I said to just call me Celestia." Celestia teased making Twilight blush with embarrassment.
"Hehehe... sorry Celestia." Twilight was still a little embarrassed but remembered the date. " S-so what do you have p-planned f-for us tonight pr-Celestia." Twilight managed to stammer out.
Celestia smiled at Twilight before responding "I was thinking we could walk around in the gardens and have a picnic".
"That sounds fun and relaxing".
"I'm glad you think so Twilight, now then shall we walk over their." Celestia turned around and gestured Twilight with a wing to follow her. Twilight was walking with Celestia side by side to the gardens occasionaly looking up and smiling at her which Celestia smiled back everytime.
Celestia and Twilight continued to walk down the long hall of the palace until they reached a set of dark oak doors which led out to the gardens. Celestia used her magic to open the doors and let Twilight go first before her shutting the doors behind them. All around them were all kinds of plants and flowers that blew in the nightly breeze that was a breath taking sight for Twilight. Celestia walked up to Twilight and saw the awe-struck look on her face which ushered a small chuckle from the white alicorn.
"Well if I had known you liked the garden this much I would have taken you out here more often to enjoy the sight." Celestia teased.
Twilight finally brought out of her trance turned to Celestia with an embarrassed blush "I-I'm sorry."
"There's no need to be sorry I too enjoy the lovely view of this place, it's quite relaxing actually." Celestia said.
"It is relaxing I could be out here all day." Twilight said turning her head back to the lovely garden staring at its beauty.
"Come Twilight, we should go to our picnic i'm quite hungry." Celestia's stomach groaned in hunger bringing an embarrassed blush to her face.
Twilight's stomach began to groan at the mention of food and she too began to blush with embarrassment before turning to Celestia and started to chuckle. "I guess i'm hungry as well."
"Then lets be on our way. To the picnic." Celestia said beckoning Twilight to follow her with a hoof.
Celestia lead Twilight through the garden walking past beds of tulips, roses, and a surprisingly large amount of violets before making her way to a small pond and stopping.
"We're here Twilight." Celestia said walking over to a small hill where there picnic was and sat down.
Twilight looked around the area she was in and it was beautiful. All around her were flowers of all kinds except on this little hill where the blanket was on. The moon was making its way in the sky casting a glow on the pond in front of her. In the middle of the pond were two swans.
Twilight was brought out of her thought by the sound of a voice calling her name. "Twilight" Celestia called from the small hill. Twilight turned to Celestia and walked over to the hill and sat down on the blanket with her former mentor. Celestia used her magic and brought out two tea cups from the picnic basket and placed them on a small table she conjured up. She brought out a kettle next with water and used her magic to heat it up, then put her favorite tea in the kettle Moonleaf tea before poring it in the tea cups and offering a cup to Twilight which she took in her magic and took a sip savoring the taste then placing her cup on the table.
"This is really good Celestia, what tea is this?" Twilight asked
Celestia took a sip from her tea and put her cup on the table with Twilight's before turning to her former student and smiled "It's called Moonleaf my faithful Twilight, it's my favorite." Celestia had a small blush when she said that, thankfully Twilight wasn't looking at her so she didn't notice it.
Celestia used her magic to levitate a dafodil sandwich to Twilight and one to herself. Twilight thanked Celestia and took a bit out of her sandwich.
"This is really good Celestia. Did you make these your self?" Twilight asked
Swallowing the food that was in her mouth Celestia responded "Indeed I did Twilight, i'm glad you like them." 'She likes them, she really likes them I could die from happiness right now.'
Celestia and Twilight finished there food and tea and were just relaxing now sitting and looking at the stars. Celestia looked over at Twilight and draped a wing over her pulling her close.
"T-Twilight"
Twilight looked up at Celestia "Yes Celestia?"
"I need to tell you something."
"You can tell me anything." Giving Celestia a reasuring smile.
Celestia's heart started to beat faster and faster with nervousness as she tried tell Twilight how she feels. "I-I-I" 'Damnit why is this so hard.' Celestia took in a breath calming herself down before she continued. "I l-love you, Twilight, ever since you saved my sister I loved you I just didn't know at that time and I thought it was just happiness for you but over time I started to relise I loved you. It was when you saved Canterlot from the changling invasion that I accepted my feelings for you and I tried several times after that day to tell you how I feel but I failed every time, I was scared to tell you, scared that you will reject me. So I will say it again Twilight, I love you with all my heart and soul, noone ever made me feel this way but you Twilight. Only you made me feel this way." She did it, she told Twilight how she felt about her, she was happy but also scared.
Twilight's eyes grew wide as she was shocked and surprised to hear her former mentor tell her that she loved her. Thinking she was able to come up with a response. "I-I d-don't know what say, I will need time to think about this, I will tell you my answer when I am ready, is that ok Celestia."
Celestia was thrilled and a little dissapointed but she knew Twilight would say that considering she knew her her whole life. So she decided to go with what Twilight said and wait.
"I will wait as long as you need me to Twilight."
Twilight wraped Celestia in a big hug and whispered "Thank you." Celestia returned the hug to her former student holding themselves in the embrace for a while before breaking apart.
"It's getting late Celestia and I think I should head home and thank you for a wonderful time."
"No Twilight, thank you."
Celestia and Twilight got up and hugged each other again for a little while before breaking the hug.
Twilight unfurled her wings ready to take off back home "Good-bye Celestia."
"Good-bye Twilight."
Twilight took off heading back home leaving Celestia alone to think. She looked up staring at Twilight flying away.
'I meant what I said, I will wait for as long as she needs me to.'
I love you, Twilight'. That memory was on repeat in Twilight's mind, never leaving, unending. She couldn't think of anthing else as she was flying home to go think about what Celestia said for who knows how long. She soared through Ponyville landing on her bedroom balcony with an elegant flap of her wings. Twilight used her magic to open her balcony door and step inside her bedroom once inside she shut the door behind. Making her over to her bed she began to talk aloud.
"Do I love her truly or do I love her as a friend?." Twilight questioned herself walking to her bed.
But she didn't have time to think about it to much because she was really tired and she has a date with Rainbow Dash tomorrow. She decided to hopefully get an answer tomorrow rather than try to right now half asleep. Twilight climbed on her bed and as soon as her head hit the pillow she was sound asleep.
Twilight woke up with a disheveled mane it was sticking up and out in all directions. She got out of bed and made her way to the mirror grabbing a brush with her magic she brushed her mane back to its nice straight and neat self. Once she was was satisfied with she looked she placed the brush back on the dresser where it belonged so she can start the day.
Twilight made her way down her crystal steps to the kitchen so she can get a nice cup of coffee. She took her kettle and added water using her magic she heated the water and added the coffee to it. Pouring her a nice cup of hot coffee for the day she made her way to the throne room and sat down on her throne. Pulling out a book to read with her magic she flipped to the first page and took a sip with of her coffee and began to read.
'I love you, Twilight.' That sentence crawled back into her mind making her stop her reading and think.
"What am I going to do?" She whispered to her self.
Twilight closed her book and sighed knowing she wasn't going to get any reading done.
"This doesn't make any sense." Twilight rubbed her chin with a hoof while trying to think.
"Oh what fun is there in making sense, little sparkle." Out of no where a door appeared and out came Discord in all his chaotic glory. Discord closed the door and expected it to disappear but it didn't. Discord shooed at the door with his claw and paw "Shoo you aren't needed anymore get outta here." The door sprouted eyes and mouth and made an audible "Awwww" before sprouting legs and walking away looking sad.
Twilight was just standing there thinking of why a door just sprouted eyes, a mouth, and legs then just walked away but the more she thought about the more she realised she really shouldn't because it's Discord.
"Well that was something."
"Hahaha I know right that's actually the first time that's ever happened, apparently even I Discord surprised myself. And that's almost impossible."
"With that aside Discord, what are you doing here?"
"What, am I not allowed to visit my friend?" Faking being hurt
Twilight began to think and decided that she needed someone to talk to and Discord was the only one around to talk to. "I can't believe i'm gonna say this, Discord I need to talk to you."
"Oh, what about, is it something chaotic, did you finally wanna have fun." Discord pulled out a scroll from thin-air and looked at it. "Now we could go prank Rarity, by dyeing her mane turquoise."
"Discord."
"Oh how about Applejack, by turning the apples blue and the trees rainbows." Discord began to laugh.
"Discord." Twilight was starting to get annoyed by Discord's antics.
"Oh how about Rainbow Dash, by taking her-."
"DISCORD!."
Discord stopped talking and looked at Twilight with a surprised look before finishing. "Wings away."
Twilight gave Discord the death stare. "This is serious Discord."
The scroll Discord had in his paw sprouted wings and flew away. He snapped his claw and he was in a black suit and tie with a pipe. "I am serious, can't you see." A smug grin plastered on his face.
Twilight just looked at him with an expressionless gaze clearly not amused by Discord's antics.
"Oh alright." Snapping his claw the suit and pipe disappeared. "What is it."
"I need to talk to you about somepony."
"Oh and who might that be?" Knowing full well who it might be.
"Princess Celestia."
Discord looked at Twilight with a grin knowing what she was most likely going to say next. "Why her?"
"She confessed to me last night." Twilight looked away blushing.
"It's about time." Discord deadpanned
"Wait, you knew!?" Twilight was surprised that Discord knew.
"Well of course I knew every-time I visited her for tea all she would talk about was her feelings for you."
"She did?"
"It was always 'I love her so much but I don't know what to say' or 'what if I tell her and she rejects me'." Discord said in his mock impression of Celestia.
"She was that scared to tell me."
"Yep she was, and it was about time she said something, it was getting really annoying hearing her talk about you all day."
Twilight began to think about what Discord said, playing every scenario she could think of in her mind but then she remembered she had a date with Rainbow Dash today so she had to put what she was thinking about away in her mind for later.
"Thanks Discord, you really helped me." Twilight gave Discord a hug who was surprised at first but returned the gesture.
"Anytime, Twilight."
Breaking the hug Discord looked at his arm and his eyes went wide. "Oh my look at the time I must be going now." Discord summoned a crayon and drew on his arm a watch and showed it to Twilight before summoning a roller-coaster car and track. He got in and summoned a button "Well it was fun Twilight but I have to ride, sorry" Discord pushed the button and the car took off down the track out the door. If you listen close enough you can hear an audible "Weeeeee" down the corridor. Shortly after, the track disappeared into bubbles before popping.
Twilight rolled her eyes. "What am I going to do with him." Twilight giggled to herself as she walked to the kitchen.
Rainbow was in her cloud home in Cloudsdale, getting ready for her date with Twilight. She was looking at herself in the mirror making sure she looked perfect. Well by perfect I mean the same as always but she did shower and she put on some lavender perfume on for Twilight.
She turned her body to the left then right looking at herself. "All right, i'm ready for my date with Twilight." Rainbow said with her cocky attitude. 'Then I can tell her how I feel'
Rainbow dashed out of her cloud home and made her way over to Twilight's castle to pick her up for their date.
Twilight was in the kitchen getting something to drink when she looked at the clock.
"It's twelve already!, I need to get ready for my date with Rainbow, fast." Twilight said beginning to panic.
Twilight rushed down the halls of her palace, going up stairs and turning down corridors until she reached her bedroom. Throwing open the doors she rushed in and made a mad dash to the bathroom to shower and get ready.
Once she was cleaned she brushed her mane to get all the strands of her hair back into their perfect straight place where they belong. Going to her dresser she took some perfume and sprayed a little on her neck and put it back. Looking in the mirror she made sure she looked nice for her date with Rainbow. No matter the occasion she always wanted to look her best. Something she picked up by being around Rarity alot.
Satisfied that she looked nice she made her to the map room and sat down on her throne. Pulling a book out with her magic, she decided to read to pass the time while she waited for Rainbow.
Knock knock knock
The knock at her door brought Twilight out of her deep reading. Putting the book down, Twilight walked to the door to see who it was. Opening the door Twilight saw Rainbow Dash looking nicer than usual.
"Hey Rainbow, you look nice."
A small blush appeared on Rainbow's face as she looked at Twilight. Her eyes scanning Twilight's body looking at how beautiful she was. And before she knew it she got lost in those beautiful purple eyes that Twilight has.
Twilight just looked at Rainbow with a confused and worried look. Waving a hoof in front of Rainbow's face Twilight tried to get her attention. "Rainbow?, you ok?"
Rainbow was brought out of her trance and shook her head. She then registered in her head that Twilight complimented her.
"O-oh. You look nice too." Rainbow was beyond embarrassed now.
Not wanting to waste any time Twilight walked outside and closed the door behind her. "So Rainbow, where are we going?"
Rainbow, back to her normal self looked at Twilight with a smug grin. "you'll see."
'I wonder where we are going.' Twilight thought to herself.
Spreading her wings Rainbow took flight. "Come on, it's faster if we fly there."
"Alright." Twilight unfurled her wings and gave them a strong flap taking to the air.
"Just follow me, ok Twi." Rainbow turned and flew off.
Twilight complied and followed close behind Rainbow as to not lose her. After awhile Twilight saw Rainbow dive down to the ground to land Twilight following close behind her and landed next to Rainbow.
Rainbow turned around and looked at Twilight. "We're here."
Looking at what was in front of her was a movie theater. The theater was painted red and there was sign showing what movies were playing. A Nightmare on Marestreet, Daring Do and The Sapphire Stone, and Never Apart.' Twilight smiled to herself. 'Only Rainbow would come here for a date.'
Rainbow looked at the movies playing then looked at Twilight. "So Twilight we have a choice of a horror movie, action and romance. What do you want to see?" 'If Twilight picks the horror movie she will latch on to me and bury her muzzle into my fur when something scary happens. If she picks the action movie she and I will enjoy it and have fun. If she picks the romance movie it might get a little awkward for her and me.'
Twilight looked at her options and with a little thinking she made her decision. "How about the action movie. I don't like horror because it's creepy and the romance movie might make it a little awkward for the both of us."
Rainbow nodded in agreement and walked up to the ticket booth to get their tickets for Daring Do. Paying for the tickets Rainbow gestured for Twilight to follow her to get something to eat for the movie. With everything they made their way into the theater to enjoy the movie.
Twilight and Rainbow came out of the theater with happy smiles.
"That was a really good movie. I liked when Daring Do had to escape the pit of Alister while chained to a wall with the walls slowly closing in."
Rainbow laughed softly, knowing that the date went well and Twilight had fun. But now was the time for Rainbow to admit her feelings to Twilight.
"Uh...Twilight, can you come with me for a second. I need to tell you something"
Snapping out of her rant on the movie Twilight looked at Rainbow. "Sure Rainbow, where are headed?"
"You'll see."
Both Rainbow and Twilight spread their wings and took off to the skies. Finding a suitable cloud Rainbow landed on it with Twilight landing shortly after.
"So what was it that you needed to tell me Rainbow?" Worry etched on Twilight's face.
Nervousness crept up Rainbow as she tried to speak."I-I-I" 'Come on Dash you can do it'. "I love you Twilight. From the moment I met you when you first came to Ponyville I loved you. I didn't realise it at first because I thought it was just a silly crush I developed. But over time with us talking, getting to know each other better and all the adventures we had. I realised I fell in love with you. What made it official was when we were in the Crystal Empire and you risked your life to get the Crystal Heart to stop Sombra from taking back the empire and enslaving the crystal ponies. That was then I realised I fell in love with you." She did it, she told Twilight her feelings.
Twilight was standing there in shock and fear. She didn't know what to do.'I don't know what to do. Rainbow AND Celestia are both in love with me. I need time to think about this alone.' Twilight was mentally panicking about what just happened. After a while Twilight calmed down and finally responded.
"I will need time to think."
Rainbow smiled at Twilight. "Take as much time as you need. I can wait."
"Thank you Rainbow."
Rainbow went up to Twilight and hugged her which Twilight hugged Rainbow back.
"I had fun Rainbow."
"I had fun too Twi."
They both smiled at each other before Twilight turned around and spread her wings to fly back home and think about what just happened. Looking back at Rainbow, Twilight waved good-bye and Rainbow did the same. Twilight lifted herself off the ground and flew back home.
Rainbow watched with a small smile as Twilight flied home. 'Take as much time as you need Twi. I will wait forever if I have to.'

Twilight was doing her best to fly home as fast as possible. She needed time to think about what just happened and try to figure out a way as to why Celestia and Rainbow both confessed their love to her.
'I love you, Twilight.
Both confessions rang through her head non stop. Unending confusion as to why they both love her.
Twilight was fast approaching her castle. Seeing she was going to fast, Twilight decided to slow down as to not hit anything.
Twilight descended onto her balcony and landed. Once on the balcony she rushed into her room and slammed the balcony doors shut behind her.
"Ok Twilight, there has to be a reasonable explanation for this, yeah that's it." Twilight was doing her best not to panic. But was failing miserably.
Twilight began to pace back and forth in her room while talking to herself. "Let's see, Celestia confessed her feelings to me and now I have Rainbow that confessed her feelings to me." As she kept thinking aloud, her mind went to the other mares. "Oh no, what if everyone that asked me out on a date loves me. Am I going to have to choose one?"
Feeling herself about to go into a mental breakdown Twilight used the breathing technique that Cadance taught her to calm herself down. Once she felt that she was calm enough, Twilight thought aloud about Cadance.
"I have a date with Cadance tomorrow, if she confesses to me as well then that will prove that everyone that asked me out is in love with me and I will have to choose one of them." Twilight let out a deep sigh and began to yawn tiredly.
Walking over to her bed, Twilight flopped down on it and fell asleep almost instantly, but before she did she thought about Cadance and the date with her.
Twilight woke up tired and groggily, getting out of bed, she made her way over to the restroom to shower and get ready for the day. Once Twilight was freshened up she walked out of her room and down the stairs towards the kitchen to get some breakfast.
"Hey Twilight, you don't look so good." Spike asked concerned when he walked into the kitchen.
Looking up from her plate Twilight looks at Spike for a second then back at her plate of pancakes. "Oh, hey Spike, i'm just thinking."
Spike went and grabbed his stash of gems from the counter. "Oh?, what about."
"It's about the five mares that asked me on a date. Two of them confessed their feelings to me and now I have come to the conclusion that they all are in love with me and I don't know what to do."
Spike chocked on a piece of the gem he was eating. "*cough* *cough* What! Two of them confessed to you?! Who?"
"Celestia and Rainbow were the ones that confessed to me. I have a date with Cadance today and if she confesses to me then I will know for sure that they all love me."
"Is that really a big problem if they all love you and want you as their marefriend?"
Twilight's head darted up to look at Spike with a slightly angry expression. "It is a big problem Spike, I will have to choose between the five of them and I don't know who to pick."
"Well wouldn't it be better if you went on the dates then choose the one that made you happiest."
Twilight gave the suggestion some thought before responding. "You'er right Spike, thank you, you really helped me." Twilight walked over to Spike and gave him a quick hug.
"Anytime Twilight, now I have some gems to eat and a comic to read, see you later."
When Spike walked off Twilight smiled and sat back down at the table to finish her breakfast. When she was finished she placed the plate in the sink and went to the library to get some reading done before her date with Cadance.
After about twenty minutes of trying to find a book and failing Twilight gave up. "I can't keep my mind off this, I need a second opinion." Twilight thought about who to talk to about her little problem. 'Fluttershy?, no, she is in the Rainforest studying rare animals. Rarity?, no, shes doing an entire line of dresses for Sapphire Shores and she doesn't want to be disturbed. Applejack?, no, she is in the middle of apple bucking season with her brother and its never a good idea to disturb them. Rainbow is obviously out of the question. Pinkie Pie?, no, she won't take it seriously.'
As if Pinkie had heard Twilight, Twilight hears Pinkie yell from far away. "I HEARD THAT."
"How?, you know what I am not even going to bother trying to figure out Pinkie heard my thoughts. So the only one left that I can talk to is *gulp* Discord."
Confetti came out of no where as Discord appeared. "You rang." He said with a smirk.
Twilight put a hoof on her forehead and sighed deeply. "Hello Discord."
"So what is it that you need this time."
"I just discovered that both Celestia and Rainbow are in love with me and I think everyone else that asked me out is also in love with me."
Discords blinked his eyes a few times before the information finally registered. "Well I already knew about Celestia, but I never expected Rainbow. Wait, who are the others?"
"Cadance, Spitfire and Luna." Twilight said blushing slightly.
"Wow. Never would have expected that, all the princesses are after you, as well as one of your friends and one of the Wonderballs."
"Wonderbolts." Twilight deadpanned.
Discord just waved his claw dismissively. "Same thing. Now lets get back on topic, so you have five mares after you and you believe that they all are in love with you." Twilight nodded. "Is there a problem with five mares being in love with you."
Twilight let out a sigh. "Yes, if they are all in love with me then I will have to choose between the five of them."
Discord put his claw on his chin in thought. "That is a problem. Why not go on all the dates and then choose the one that made you the happiest."
Twilight let out a soft chuckle. "That's what Spike said earlier."
"Well since me and your little assistant gave you the same answer then you should do what we said and pick the one that makes you the happiest."
"Alright, since I got the same answer I will do what you said. Thanks Discord." Twilight went up to Discord and pulled him for a hug. Discord smiled at Twilight and lightly kissed the top of her head without Twilight knowing.
"Anytime Twilight." The hug ended and Discord looked at his arm, "Now I must go, for I have tea party with some pillows and let me tell you they get pretty cranky if i'm late."
Twilight laughed at Discord. "Alright, see you later Discord, have fun." Twilight waved goodbye to Discord.
Discord snapped his claw and a scooter appeared. He got on it and put on a helmet and started the engine. The scooter turned upside down with Discord on it and he drove off out of sight.
Cadance was in her hotel room that she decided to stay in while here in Canterlot. She was getting ready for her date with Twilight, she decided not to wear any fancy dresses because she was going to take Twilight to the Starswirl exhibit for their date.
"After we are done at the exhibit I will confess my feelings to Twilight." Cadance squealed in excitement like a little filly.
Cadance turned to the clock, it read 12:10. "Looks like I have about fifty minutes before our date, this gives me time to finish getting ready and have a little light reading."
When Cadance finished getting ready she took out a book from her suitcase and began to read a little before her date with Twilight.
After about half an hour of reading Cadance put her bookmark on the place she stopped and closed the book. Looking back at the clock that read 12:40 Cadance decided it was time to go pick up Twilight for her date. Thinking about the date and then confessing her feelings made Cadance blush a little.
Cadance walked to the mirror and wanted to make sure she looked perfect for her date. With a nod Cadance walked out her hotel room door balcony and flew off to pick up Twilight.
Twilight was in the middle of reading one of her favorite books, 'Advanced Magical Processes', when she heard a knock at the front castle doors. Looking at the clock, it read 12:55. Twilight's widened and quickly ran towards a mirror to make sure she looked nice. When she saw she looked fine, Twilight nodded to herself and made her way to the front doors.
Opening the door, Twilight saw Cadance and instantly smiled. "It's great to see you again Cadance. Are you ready to go?"
Cadance wasn't even listening, all she was doing was staring at Twilight with her mouth opened slightly. 'She looks so beautiful. If looks could kill, I would be dead.'
Twilight waved a hoof in front Cadance's face trying to get her attention. "Uhh, Cadance, you all right?" She asked concerned.
Cadance shook her head and came out of her thoughts with her eyes looking at Twilight. "Huh? What did you say?"
"I asked if you were alright, you zoned out." Twilight's concern for Cadance grew.
Cadance let out an awkward laugh and rubbed the back of her head with a hoof. "Yeah, i'm fine. You ready to go."
Twilight moved her face closer to Cadance and squinted her eyes in thought with a hoof to her chin.
'She is so close to me, I think I might go crazy.' Cadance's was doing her best to not plant a kiss on those lips right then and there.
Twilight backed away from Cadance and let go of what she was going to say and decided to get going. "Alright Cadance, let's go." Twilight spread her wings and took off to the skies.
When Cadance saw Twilight spread her wings and take off, her own wings sprung out and she began to blush a deep shade of red. 'I'm so glad Twilight didn't see that, I really need to control myself around her.'
Getting her wings under control Cadance took flight along side Twilight. "You ready to see the Starswirl exhibit."
"Of course!" Twilight said happily.
Deciding to get a little playful, Cadance took off. "Race you there!"
"Huh, wha- hey. Get back here!" Twilight raced after Cadance giggling.
Cadance dived down and landed with Twilight not long behind. When Twilight landed she glared at Cadance while catching her breath. "Not... Fair."
Cadance giggled. "Come on Twilight, that was fun, admit it."
Twilight began to laugh alongside Cadance. "Yeah it was pretty fun."
After awhile both princesses stopped laughing and headed towards the exhibit.
In the exhibit there were journals that Starswirl documented his biggest adventures and accomplishments in, and artifacts that Starswirl collected, studied, or used on his journeys.
Twilight squealed in excitement as she gushed over her hero to Cadance. She was like a filly in a candy store. Cadance smiled and giggled to herself over Twilight talking about her hero. 'She is so cute and adorable when she gets like this.'
"Oh my Celestia, Cadance look!" Twilight grabbed Cadance's hoof and pulled her to one of Starswirls spell books. "It's the spell book 'Azul' that Starswirl used to seal away the ancient Mad king of the north. The Mad king ruled with an iron hoof and forced his people into slave labor, but when Starswirl found out, he used the spell book named 'Azul' to seal him away for all eternity in the deepest pits of Tartarus." Twilight was fan ponying like crazy.
Although Cadance was listening, her eyes were staring at her hoof that Twilight touched and began to blush.
"Oh, they have that here too!?" Twilight once again grabbed Cadance's hoof and pulled to her a candle. "It's the candle that Starswirl used to light the way in Maretonia. It's said th-" Twilight was cut off by a hoof on her shoulder.
"Twilight, I don't mean to interrupt, but can we take a break and get something to eat, I forgot to eat lunch before we had our date." Cadance said sheepishly while blushing.
Twilight smiled and nodded. "Of course we can, I am quite hungry myself to tell you the truth."
Both princesses walked off to a nearby restaurant, sat down and ordered their food. As they waited Cadance decided to make some small talk.
"So Twilight, how have you been?"
"I've been doing quite well." 'That and I believe you five all love me.' The thought brought a blush to Twilight's face. Luckily for her Cadance didn't notice. "What about you?"
"I've been doing well my self. What have you been up to lately, I hardly ever get to speak to you."
"Sorry I couldn't speak to you that much, I've been busy with my royal duties, luckily I have the entire week off so that's good." 'And a very eventful week already.'
The both of them continued to talk about what's been happening in their lives with Twilight leaving out that she got asked out by five mares. Soon their food arrived and they continued to talk while they ate.
Once they were finished and payed for the meals they got up and went back to the exhibit.
They walked around looking at everything while Twilight described what each book or artifact was and what it was used for. They stayed at the exhibit having fun and laughing with each other until the moon came up and the exhibit closed.
"Hey Twilight, you mind if we go somewhere?" Cadance asked shyly. 'It's time to tell her my feelings.'
Twilight nodded. "Sure, where are going?"
"You'll see." Cadance spread her wings and flew up onto a cloud with Twilight joining her shortly after.
"So what did you need Cadance?"
Cadance took in a breath and let it out collecting herself. "Twilight, I-I love you. Ever since you were a little filly that I foal sat I loved you, but those feelings turned into romantic feelings when we were at the Crystal Empire and I saw Sombra hurt you. I felt so destroyed when you got hurt, it was at that moment that I realized that I fell in love with you. I love your smile, your laugh, your drive for knowledge, and every little quirk you have, I love every bit of you." Cadance's heart was beating rapidly, like it's about to burst out of her chest.
Twilight's eyes were wide as she was frozen where she stood. 'I knew it, they are all in love with me. I really am going to have to choose between the five of them.'
"I'll need some time to think, if that's alright with you." Her voice was sad as she spoke.
Cadance smiled sadly. "Take as much time as you need Twilight, I don't want to rush you into anything."
Twilight went up to Cadance and pulled her into a hug. "Thank you, Cadance, for a wonderful time."
"I'd do it again to." Cadance gave a light chuckle.
They parted from the hug and Twilight spread her wings so she could go home. Giving one final glance at Cadance, Twilight took flight and headed back to her castle.
Cadance watched as Twilight flew away until she was gone. 'I can only hope you return my feelings Twilight.'
