Frantic Escape. A Mysterious Ship!

"Come on you piece of junk!" Goku thrashed at the controls, hoping for a sign of life within Frieza's ship. After Vegeta's desperate assault to get the dragon balls, the ship was left in ruins, and no crew to fly it. "GO!" Goku yelled out. Again, nothing. "Darn it!" As the ship began to fall into the cracking surface of Namek, he saw a small pod come into a view for just a moment. Enough time for him to see it. "Another ship!" He quickly dove out the hole in the fuselage to chase the pod. In no time at all, he managed to get seated in the pod, and fire up the engines.

"No time to set a course. Come on, come on!" Suddenly, the pod jolted to a stop, and with a whirl, rocketed out of the atmosphere. As he looked behind him, the doomed planet of Namek finally succumbed from Frieza's attempt to destroy it...and with a flash, Namek was nothing but debris in the void of space. Goku's standing blonde hair became limp, and fell back to it's natural style as the blonde faded to black. His eyes closed as he fell unconscious.

Twilight stood still...looking around for anything as a strange fog covered her hoofs and the ground. "Where am I...Hello?" She called. Is this a dream...what is this place, how did I get here?. "Princess Luna?" Silence. She took a step. The trot of her hoof echoed through the strange void. Suddenly, stars came into view. There was a sky. A night sky! She gazed up, and saw shooting stars. Many streaking across the sky and fading away quickly. They seemed so close, yet so far.

As she watched, she saw the brightest star of all burst out of nothing, and instead of fading away like the rest, it grew brighter. Closer. Closing in towards the planets surface at mind blowing speeds. "Wha-?!" It was heading straight for her. "AA-" She dove out the way as the pod suddenly crashed and sent her flying.

She coughed, regaining her balance as her shaky legs picked up her quivering body. When she looked, there was no crater. No meteorite. No Damage. Nothing...except for now the fog was glowing yellow, emitting a strange energy. "What am I seeing?"

"Even I don't know Twilight." Luna's voice spoke from behind her.

"Luna!" Twilight was relieved to find some life in this erie dimension. "So...this is a dream?"

"Indeed. It seems I'm not the only one who sees it coming." Luna spoke staring at the star covered sky.

"Sees what coming?"

"I believe what you and I are seeing is a message from the universe...and I get the feeling that something...or somebody is coming. Somebody far more powerful than anypony on this planet."

"An alien? B-but that can't be right."

"For all I know this could just be in our heads. But this dream has occurred much to often, and now, it's even invading your dreams as well, Twilight. All we can do is let time tell."

"What if they're coming to attack?" Twilight asked.

"Fear not, Twilight. I don't feel any harm coming our way."

"Alright Luna...I'll take your word over mine any day." Twilight said as Luna faded away, along with the dream...

CRASH

Twilight was sent flying off her bed and on to the floor beside it. Books tumbled off the bookshelves and on to her as she scrambled out of the way half awake and panicking. "EARTHQUAKE!" She yelled, "SPIKE!"

"TWILIGHT, I'M DOWN STAIRS!" Spike yelled. As soon as he finished the sentence, the shaking, and the rumbling had stopped. Twilight got back on her hooves and ran downstairs.

"Is everything okay?" She asked.

"I think. I spent this morning cleaning the place but...that was a waste." Spike said as he looked over library at the books scattered everywhere. "So much for that."

"Don't worry about it for now. Let's go make sure everypony is okay." Twilight ran outside, with Spike quickly behind her. Once outside to survey the damage, they found that the only damage done were many windows that had been shattered by the sound of the crash. Beyond the town of Ponyville, smoke rose from the Everfree forest.

"Twilight, look!" Spike pointed at the rising smoke.

"Let's go!"

Upon arrival of the crash site on the outskirts of Everfree, Twilight found Fluttershy standing erect, and motionless, eyes wide and her body trembling. Whatever struck the earth missed her house by a couple hundred yards at most. Timber, and wood from what were once trees were now scattered across the ground, and a long ditch about a meter deep had been torn into the Earth, and led toward the crash sight. Trees were uprooted, and thrown across the forest floor. Some of the wood burned small flames of fire, again, leading toward the crater in which the fallen star lied.

"Fluttershy!" Twilight yelled. Fluttershy gave no response. She stood there looking at the devastation of the forest where so many of her beloved animal friends lived. The forest she once feared. Twilight circled her to get a look at her face, and saw tears running down her cheeks with her lips slightly apart. "Spike, take Fluttershy inside, please."

Spike did his best to get the devastation out of Fluttershy's sight. As Spike dragged her stiff motionless body inside, Twilight crept closer to the pit, with other ponies far behind her watching. As she came to the rim of the crater, the object became visible. It was a sphere. A perfect sphere, big enough to fit 2, possibly 3 fully grown ponies in. Shards of red glass lay scattered among the debris. With a hiss, the sphere ejected a small burst of steam, making Twilight jump. Part of the sphere opened up, like a door.

At that moment, the dream she encountered came back to her as she realized with horror what lay in front of her eyes. A pod. Built by a civilization far ahead in technology capable to traveling great distances across the galaxy. Twilight began to tremble. What she started as a chance to collect a rock from space, turned into fear.

Expecting an alien to crawl out of the pod, she waited, and waited. Finally, she couldn't stand it any longer. She moved forward and peered into the metal pod, only to find nothing inside...nothing but a white seat, control panels, buttons, levers...all covered in blood.

"Twilight! Over here!"

Twilight's ears switched at the sound of Spike's voice calling from in the forest. He must have gotten Fluttershy out of harms way. Twilight climbed back up the crater and scanned the forest for Spike. "Where are you?" She called.

"Here!" He called again. This time, Twilight could hear the direction the call was coming from and made her way over there. After several seconds of navigating through thick brush, Spike came into her view standing next to a body. A body of something she had never seen before, not even in her books of Biology.

"What...is that thing?" Twilight stood over the lifeless body along side Spike. She examined it closely. Never before has Equestria encountered a being like this. No fur, except for on the head. A round head with small ears, and a pointy nose. Twilight looked upon the torso, and the upper body which was uncovered by the fabric covering the lower half.

"This must have been what was in the pod. She must have been thrown out when she crashed." Twilight concluded. "A real alien!"

"Uh...Twilight, how do you know it's a girl?" Spike asked.

"Well I didn't exactly want to say it out loud, but she has nipples. Alien or not, anypony can see that. I've taught you this stuff already Spike. They're to feed her-

"Yeah yeah, okay I get it." Spike interrupted. "I'm just gonna call it, 'it'."

As Twilight leaned in towards the face, more ponies gathered around nearby behind Twilight. "Stay back." One said, "It's best to leave it to Twilight...right?"

Suddenly, it's eyes opened wide, and it took a sharp, deep breath in. In the matter of seconds, Twilight was staring face to face with the alien, now conscious and awake. She screamed and jumped back. The alien only moved his head to follow Twilight's movement. He smiled and laughed, "Oh great...the circus is in town..." He said before slipping away again, eyes closing.

"No way." Twilight said. "I'd expect it to be able to speak...but for me to be able to understand it?"

"But we're not the circus? They were here last week." Spike said aloud.

"She's badly wounded. It looks like she's been through hell and back..."

"Is there anything we can do to help Twi?" The familiar voice of Applejack spoke from behind Twilight. The country mare came and stood beside Twilight. "Gosh, I 'aint never seen anything like this. Would you look at those muscles? I bet this thing could throw a full grown apple tree through a barn."

"No kidding...what do you think we should do?" Twilight asked.

"Well...I don't know much about aliens and what not, but I think we should treat'm as if one of us got hurt...help it somehow."

"Yeah...you're right AJ. Thing is...who do we trust to look after her?"

"Why do you keep calling it her?" Applejack asked, making Twilight think about what she told Spike.

Don't these ponies know anything about biology? She thought.

"Whatever, look...I think we know somepony who can take care of it..."

"W-w-w-wHAT? You want me to take care of that...that...THING?" Fluttershy yelled softly.

"Yes. If anypony can nurse any animal, or thing back to health, it's you."

"No. Nonononono. You saw what that thing did to the forest. Do you know how much damage it did? Thanks to it, the crash scared Angel so bad he stubbed his paw. I will never forgive whatever it is."

"Fluttershy, come on. Angel doesn't even care anymore, he's off in the other room napping anyways." Spike stated, pointing to the next room where Angel was lying on the floor where the sunlight came through the window.

"You're the first pony I thought of when we decided to help it. We'll help too, as much as we can. Besides, I dont think it had control over that pod thing. It's hurt really bad." Twilight explained to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy sat silently and thought with the 'hmph' expression written on her face. "...Fine." She said with a sigh. "But you listen here," She got into Twilight's face, "He hurts one animal, and I will personally, and kindly, ask him to leave. Got that?" Twilight nodded quickly, and Fluttershy jumped back, and gasped, "Oh gosh, I'm sorry Twilight, I didn't scare you did I? I'm sorry I just...I get so defensive about the safety of my critter friends."

"It's quite alright Fluttershy. That's what makes you the best!" Twilight said. "Applejack should be back any second with Big Mac to help get it here. You might want to clear a space...it isn't exactly small."

"How big are we talking? Grizzly bear?" Fluttershy asked, extending her hooves out as far as they could go, simulating the width of a fully grown grizzly.

"Smaller, but definitely bigger than us." Twilight said.

"It should be fine then."
Knock Knock

Fluttershy, Twilight, and Spike all turned to the door from which the knocking came.

"Hey girls, I'm back with Mac. We've hauled him back here on a cart." Applejack yelled from aloud. Fluttershy was quick to answer the door. She and Twilight both trotted outside to find Mac pulling a two wheeled cart big enough to fit ten trees worth of apples. The unconscious body of the alien lying over it, limp, but breathing softly.

"I tell ya what, biggest pain in the rump trying to lift that thing on to the cart. I've had easier times pulling dead trees down." Applejack wiped off the sweat from her forehead, and fanned herself with her hat. Fluttershy came over and examined the body closely.

"He's quite big." She said.

"He?" Twilight said. "I think your mistaken Fluttershy, I think it's a girl."

"Twilight." Spike spoke to get Twilight's attention, "forget about your nipple thing. You know, male apes have nipples too I'm pretty sure." Fluttershy giggled hearing Spike say nipple.

"I can understand why you would think that but it's definitely a he. I can tell a he from a she on anything a mile away."

"Well...alright, he." Twilight tapped her hoof, "Shall we get him inside?"

"Eeyup!" Big Mac didn't wait for a written invitation, and immediately made his way towards that door.

"Uh...Mac..." Fluttershy started, "That will never fit through my door." Big Mac stopped, and looked back at it. She was right, no way it would fit. With a sigh of relief, Big Mac unbuckled himself from the harness connecting him to the cart, releasing the weight from his barrel.

"You're tellin' me we gotta haul his rump my hoof into there?" Applejack asked. "Fiddlesticks. I guess the quicker we get it done, the better."

"Eeyup." Big Mac agreed. With the help of Twilights magic, and the strength of the two earth ponies, the alien was moved to the soft comfortable couch in no time at all.

"No...first things first, I'm going to remove these clothes. They're all torn up and filthy...I wonder what happened." Fluttershy went to remove one of his shoes, and began to pull. She pulled slightly, but it didn't budge. "This is..." She grunted and put a second hoof on the shoe, now using her body weight to try and move it, "...really heavy!" Her hoof slipped and she flew backwards, landing on her rump.

"Fluttershy!" Spike said, who had stayed inside as they brought him in, "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Are those boot things part of his body or something?"

"Here, let me have a try, I reck'n I can get'm off." Applejack trotted over confidently and placed both hooves on the shoe. With a heave, it slowly slid off his foot, and fell to the floor with the loud thud. "What in Celestia's cake stash?!" She yelled, trying to lift it off the ground. "What is this thing made of, no wonder he was so heavy." She managed to get it an inch or two off the ground before it pulled her back down.

"Mac...mind gettin' that one? You're better at this sort of stuff than I am." Applejack asked.

"Eeyup." Big Mac wasted no time at all, and pulled the other shoe off, which almost made him fall when he tried to hold it up.

"See, told you those suckers are hea-vy!" Applejack giggled.

"Ooohhh..." A whimper of pain could suddenly be heard coming from the alien. Everybody suddenly fell silent and watched. Fluttershy disappeared into the kitchen without anybody noticing, and filled a cup with water. She lightly flew back into the room with the water and stood next to the alien, lifting it's head up to try and get him to drink the fluid.

"Fluttershy wait, what if he doesn't drink water where he comes from?" She stated. "There's always a chance it could be poison to his species!"

"It'll be fine." Fluttershy cooed, and placed the cup upon his lips, and poured lightly, letting him feel the cool liquid enter his mouth, hoping instinct would take it in safely. It worked, he gulped, and Fluttershy stopped the flow, letting him take a breath. Next, she took the water and lightly poured it on his bruised face. It splashed lightly, and he suddenly came to. His eyes opened slightly and Fluttershy put his head down, and stepped back.

"Shh." She said. His head turned to the left and looked at her.

"...Ponies?" It said, staring at Fluttershy.

"You speak our language." Twilight said.

"You speak...m..my language?" He spoke quietly with little energy.

"We're here to get you back on your hooves...understand?" Fluttershy said. He nodded back. "Do you have a name?" The alien nodded again and opened his mouth.

"G...Goku." With a final word, he fell back asleep.

"His body is in shock...we need to let him rest." Fluttershy said. "He's been through something horrible. I don't know what, but we'll find out."

"Goku hm? Interesting name." Applejack said. "I was expecting something like, heavy boots, or orange pants."

"Come on guys, we should go and address the town. They'll have lots of questions, and soon word of his arrival will spread like wildfire." Twilight explained. She and the others made their way towards the door, leaving Goku in Fluttershy's care.

"Let me know if you need anything Fluttershy, we'll be here." Twilight said, as she left and closed the door.

Fluttershy went and retrieved a wet rag from the other room, and began to clean the dried blood and wounds that had already started to heal themselves. "Don't worry...You'll be back on your hooves...er-" She looked at his feet, "feet. Yeah, you'll be back on your feet in no time."

Where Am I? Goku Awakens!

2 weeks later

Goku's eyes flickered open. He sighed and stared up at the unfamiliar ceiling. The morning sunlight beamed through the windows as he lifted himself to a sitting position on the couch. This was the first time he had gotten up since he crash landed. "Whoa...where am I? Why am I on this comfortable couch?" He said aloud. As he looked around, he looked into the kitchen in the next room and saw a yellow furred creature with a pink mane making food with different vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices. The smell of soup made his belly grumble loudly. "H..Hello?" He called.

Fluttershy's ears shifted toward the sound of his call, she turned quickly and stared at him. "You...you're awake." She said.

"Where am I?" Goku asked.

"Well...my house."

"N..no I meant-

"O-oh, you're in Equestria. You crash landed here a couple weeks ago, don't you remember?" Fluttershy asked.

"Where's Frieza...did I do it?" Goku tried to stand up but a sharp pain engulfed his mid section. He groaned softly in pain. "Gah...boy that hurts."

"Stay still. You're badly hurt, take it slow, please." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah, no kidding. Goku lifted the blanket that covered. "Is there a draft in here?" He asked. He looked down, and realized the blanket was the only thing covering his- "Whoa! Holy crap I'm naked. I'm so sorry."

"Don't be, I took off your other clothes...they were torn to shreds! I took them to a friend to see if she could fix them."

"Ah man...those were specially made too." Goku remembered King Kai giving him the Gi as a gift. "King Kai won't be happy about that."

"Why do you wear clothes?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well it's only polite. Where I come from, it's not very nice to have your...uh...stuff out and about, you know? I didn't learn that until I was older, but I never saw a problem with it either, ahehehe."

"Oh, well...it must be freezing without fur as well."

"Ah shucks, it's not so bad." Goku stopped and realized he was having a conversation with a pony. "Wait...ugh this is messing with my head. So you're...a pony? Or something?"

"Yes, a pegasus to be exact, Fluttershy walked over and spread her wings out and took flight for a moment."

"Whoa, that's cool...I can fly too y'know...I'd show you but, I'm in no condition."

"Y..you can fly? But you don't have wings?" Fluttershy grew wild with confusion.

"Oh well..uh...it's complicated. Maybe I'll explain it sometime. But hey, listen, thank for keeping me safe. I have to get back to Earth and see my friends and family again...Bulma...Chi Chi, and Gohan...I sure do miss them."

"Earth?" Fluttershy asked.

"It's where I was raised. I have a bit of a long story y'know...also...I think your soup is burning." Goku noticed a little smoke coming from the kitchen. Fluttershy bolted to the kitchen with a gasp and shut off the stove.

"I completely forgot. Oh, Angel's gonna be upset. I think it's alright though." Fluttershy poured the carrot soup into a bowl, and placed it next to Angels food dishes.

Goku lied back down and spoke to himself in his head. "Man...I don't know if Frieza hit my head so hard I'm seeing things, or if this is heaven or what...but this couch is really comfy!"

Later that day, Rarity came in to Fluttershy's house with a selection of garments. "Oh Fluttershy, are you home darling?" She called. Goku didn't get up straight away, but stayed down, worried he might frighten her. Fluttershy came in to the room. "Oh good...oh, my. I didn't think you'd make him these many outfits." She said.

"Well, you gave me those heavy trousers that were absolutely appalling! Torn to shreds. I used them for measuring and then chucked them aside. So where's your friend you're taking care of?"

Goku thought this would be a good time to make an appearance. He propped himself up and stuck a hand up with an open palm, "Hello there!" He spoke, "I'm Gok-

"WAHHH" Rarity screamed and hid behind her clothing she made. "Fluttershy...what is that?"

"Don't you listen to anything we tell you. He landed here a couple weeks ago."

"Well I wasn't expecting that." She said. Goku looked on in curiosity.

"Gosh...I didn't realize I looked that intimidating." He said. Rarity crept out and forced a smile, sweat running down her muzzle.

"I um..brought you some things to uh..try on?" She said awkwardly. "They're the latest fashion trends...or though I had to make some major adjustments to fit..ahem..your stature."

"Oh boy, let me see!" Goku looked at the clothes, which were all pants. He picked out a pair of simple blue pants that were made of denim.

"Bare with me...I'm used to making clothes for ponies. I figured if I just make them close to how your other garments were, I could give you something." Goku slipped them on and buttoned them. "A little tight, but they're great. Say, where's a shirt though?" Goku got up and stood for the first time in so long. Nobody had seen him stand. Both Fluttershy and Rarity looked in amazement at his tall figure.

"Shirt?" Rarity said. "Oh, something for your upper body. Hm..well, you see, I only had your bottoms to try and make a copy of. For the rest of you I'll need to take measurements, then I can get you some proper gear my good fellow." She giggled graciously. She lifted a measuring tape with her magic and brought it to Goku.

"Whoa!" Goku exclaimed. "How are you doing that?"

"What? Magic?"

"It's floating. It's glowing the same color as your horn. Do you ponies know how to use Ki too? Awesome!"

"Key? Um...no dear, I'm a unicorn. Us unicorns posses the ability to manipulate things with magic. We're all born with it." Rarity explained.

"That's strange...I can sense energy pretty well, and it feels a lot like ki to me."

"How's your bandages doing by the way?" Fluttershy asked Goku, who patted the bandages wrapped around his midsection.

"Holding up pretty well. It's pretty painful when I move, but nothing I'm not used to. Us Saiyans are pretty tough!" Goku bragged. He then let Rarity take whatever measurements she needed for a shirt. His stomach growled again, vigorously. "Oh...damn, I'm hungry. Do you guys have anywhere with good food around here?" He asked.

"Hm...I think I know just the place." Rarity said, giving Fluttershy a glare, and a smirk.

"You want to take him to sugarcube corner? Don't you think it's a bit early for him to be getting out? He just stood up for the first time in-"

Fluttershy was interrupted by the sound of Goku opening up the front door and walking outside. ".....what do you know." Fluttershy said.

"Woo, boy feels good to get some fresh air." He said. "Well, I'm ready to go! I think I'm just gonna walk though, seeing as I don't know where I'm going."

Rarity and Fluttershy were quick to follow him outside and lead the way.

"You're not going to bother waiting on a top?" Rarity asked.

"Eh, whatever. According to Flutts here, you ponies are naked all the time so what's the big deal? Am I right?" Goku giggled. "As long as I don't have my junk out."

Goku's Challenge. A Stomach Bigger than Pinkie Pie's??

Ponies stared in curiosity at first sight of the strange creature walking through town on two legs with Fluttershy and Rarity. Nobody had every seen anything walking upright, besides Spike, of course. "This place sure is lively. Everybody seems so friendly!" Goku smiled and looked at all the buildings as they walked through Ponyville.

"We're almost there." Fluttershy said. "Now, I am going to warm you..um..Pinkie Pie might be a little bit...overwhelming at first."

"Overwhelming? Pfft, wait till she gets a load of me!" Goku welcomed the challenge.

Sugarcube corner came into view as they turned the corner past the city hall. There lay the restaurant owned by Mr. and Mrs. Cake, in all it's sugar covered, cavity making glory. Goku's eyes sparkled as his mouth watered. Though he wasn't big on sweets, at this point he was willing to take what he could get.

As they approached the front entrance, ponies stared at Goku, chatting amongst themselves. Suddenly, a pink pony burst out the door with a giant cannon, aimed right at Goku. "PARTY!" She yelled out. Goku looked down the barrel, and smiled, almost as if he was hoping to catch whatever came out the cannon.

"No, Pinkie, wait!" Fluttershy tried to stop Pinkie, but it was too late. She pulled the trigger.
BAM

In seconds, Goku's face was covered in confetti, silly string, and balloons floated up and above him. He stood there frozen, before letting out a big laugh, and shaking the confetti from his face. "A party cannon. Neat."

"Hello there Earth creature!" Pinkie said.

"You must be Pinkie Pie ahehe." Goku shook her hoof gently. "I guess word has gotten around where I'm from?" Goku asked.

"Nope!" Pinkie said.

"Then how-

"I know lots of stuff!"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah! Let me guess. You're starving right now from not being able to eat in two weeks!" Pinkie wildly guessed.

"That's right! You guys have food here right?" Goku asked, worried they might not.

"Of course! Follow me!" Pinkie led them inside, and greeted them with many cakes and cookies and goodies.

"You guys are just in time for the big cupcake eating contest!" Pinkie exclaimed happily, bouncing up and down.

"Pinkie, nobody enters those anymore because you always win." Rarity claimed. "Besides, nopony here could handle cupcakes like you can. It's practically impossible..."

"An eating contest?" Goku asked. "Count me IN!" The girls looked at him like he was crazy. "In fact, let's make it personal. They say you always win cupcake eating contest?" He looked at Pinkie. "Let's go then. Right here. Right now. Pinkie. I challenge you to a cupcake eating contest!" Goku yelled, pointing at Pinkie.

Everybody at Sugarcube corner stopped what they were doing in awe. Some even dropped their treats and drinks in terror. Nobody has ever challenged Pinkie with such confidence. A smile grew on Pinkie's face. "You have no idea what you just got yourself into."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah!"

"CUPCAKE EATING CONTEST!!!" A random pony suddenly yelled. In seconds, the whole town seemed to be in a riot. Setting up tables, and seats and people running to spread the word. In Ponyville, anybody challenging Pinkie to anything to do with sweets is a must see. Two tables were set up for Goku and Pinkie to sit at, and Mr and Mrs. Cake started baking cupcakes at maximum speed.

"Mares and Gentlecolts! This stranger thinks he can best Ponyvilles own Pinkie Pie, the current Equestrian cupcake eating champion for 5 years and counting!" A beige mare was now talking with through a speaking trumpet. "Come one come all, May I please have the contestants to the stage!" She said.

Goku cautiously made his way to the table, now slightly shaking. Is this Pinkie Pie really that good at eating cupcakes...oh man, what if it's too much. She's clearly an experienced champ. He thought. He sat at his table, as did Pinkie at hers. Mayor Mare walked over to Goku with the speaking trumpet.

"So, you want to challenge Pinkie? Equestria wants to know your name brave one." She held the megaphone up to Goku.

"Uh..hi, my name is Goku."

"GOKU!" She yelled. "Brave Goku, is the challenger of the one, the only, 'cupcake crusher', Pinkie Pie!" Suddenly, Mr and Mrs. Cake brought in two large mountains of cupcakes bigger then them. The trays were placed in front of Goku and Pinkie.

"Usually, we go by who finishes the tray first, but this time. This is...to the stomach!" Mayor Mare yelled. The crowd gasped. "In, to the stomach, each contestant will eat, until the other gives up. No limit. No time. Nothing but cupcakes." She explained.

Here we go... Goku thought.

"BEGIN!" Mayor Mare yelled, and both Pinkie and Goku began to shovel cupcakes into their mouths rapidly. Ponies started cheering as the counters of cupcakes eaten were going up at ridiculous speed.

"Dear Celestia they're neck and neck, both already at 10 cupcakes each."

This isn't so bad...they're pony sized cupcakes, I can eat these forever. Goku thought to himself.

A literal hour later

Mayor Mare's voice was hardly working by this point, and had to have a replacement take her spot. The contests usually last minutes, with Pinkie winning effortlessly.

Now both Goku and Pinkie were at their limit. Both of them had their heads down, groaning in stomach pains from the amount of sugar consumed. "I'm...never giving up." Pinkie said.

"Just...stop wasting...everybody's time. You'll never win." Goku said. At this rate, they were both eating half a cupcake every five seconds. The new announcer spoke aloud, "New rule! First to throw up loses!" The crowd was now speechless, just watching in awe as Goku continued to eat, as did Pinkie.

"I can do this hic all day space man." Pinkie said.

"Just wait and see." Goku replied. As they both shoveled in their 200th cupcake, Pinkie's grip slipped, and she dropped it on the ground. She looked at it confused, and suddenly fell to the ground. She lied there and snored, succumbing to the sugar crash that comes after the rush. The crowd gasped...

"GOKU WINS!" Everypony was cheering now, party cannons were fired. Goku face planted into the remaining cupcakes, and also crashed from the sugar.

"Now, starts the after party!" The announcer gave the mic to a DJ pony who was now blasting music from her sound system. Everybody was now up and on their hooves. Water was splashed on to Goku and Pinkie, snapping them both awake. "Did...I win?" They both said at the same time.

"I'm sorry Pinkie, but you lost." Fluttershy said. "He ate 200. You ate...199. Oh gosh I'm so sorry, are you okay?"

"No..." Pinkie replied, "I'm am SUPER EXCITED. Nobody has EVER beaten me in a cupcake eating contest!" Pinkie rushed over to Goku. "Are you and I related somehow? We must be for you be able to beat me!"

"Ahehe...say...you guys wouldn't happened to have rice here, would you?" Goku asked. "I know we just ate, but I really need some real food too..." He giggled.

"Of course! Anything for the new champ!"

The crowd of Ponyville now cheered Goku's name repeatedly. "Hooray..." He said weakly.

The next day, Goku thought it would be good for him to get up on his feet again. Fluttershy talked it out with him, and they decided to get all her friends together to finally, and formally greet everypony to Goku. Even though Goku had been asleep for 2 weeks, and awake for less than 2 days, Fluttershy and Goku were quickly becoming friends.

"So, where are we going again?" Goku asked as they walked through town. Goku still wore the pants that Rarity made, but still lacked a shirt.

"We're going to Twilight's library to properly introduce you to all my friends." Fluttershy replied

Side note. This story takes place before the destruction of the treehouse for those of you wondering.

"A library hm...you're not gonna make me read, are you?" Goku asked, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Not at all, unless you want to of course."

"Good...I don't know about you but I'm not too big on reading, ahehe." As they approached the library, Goku examined the building. "So the library is behind this tree?" He asked.

"No silly, that is the library."

"Whoa, no kidding. A library inside an entire tree?" Goku said as Fluttershy stepped on the welcome mat, and knocked on the door, where a sign reading 'closed' was hanging, with her hoof. A cheery voice could be heard from inside.

"Who is it?" It called.

"Fluttershy. We're here Twilight...may we come in?" As soon as Fluttershy finished speaking, the door swung open, and a purple pony came into view.

"Oh, hey I remember you..I think. Weren't you one of the ponies who helped get me out of that forest?" Goku said, scratching his head.

"Sure am. Come in, have a seat." Twilight said, inviting them in. "It's nice to see you on your own two legs again. My name is Twilight Sparkle, and this is my library."

"Wow, I don't think I've ever been in a library to be honest." Goku replied. "My name's Goku."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Goku." Twilight said. "The others should be here shortly. I'm gonna go make some tea."

"Oh, that sounds great! I haven't had tea since I was with King Kai!" Goku said as Twilight went into the other room. As she did, there was a knock at the door. Fluttershy went to look through the peephole, and then opened it up wide, letting two ponies in. One was flying, a blue pegasus with a rainbow mane, and an orange pony.

"Yo, what up Fluttershy!" The pegasus said, giving fluttershy a hoof bump. She turned toward Goku.

"Whoa. I thought Fluttershy was introducing her to a colt friend or something, hehe!." Rainbow giggled, making Fluttershy's cheeks flush red as she hid behind her hair.

"Stop it Rainbow you're embarrassing her. Didn't I tell you it wasn't a pony?" The orange pony defended Fluttershy, and turned to Goku. "Nice to finally meet you face to face. Goku, right?" Applejack extended a hoof. Goku lightly grabbed it and shook, "Howdy, I'm Applejack, and this is Rainbow Dash."

"That's me!" Rainbow said, "The fastest flier in Equestria!" She boasted.

"Nice to meet you both." Goku said. Suddenly, the door burst open, and the familiar pink pony, Pinkie Pie, walked in with Rarity.

"I told you we'd be late if we stopped to eat cupcakes!" Rarity said.

"Oh come on Rarity lighten up!" Pinkie bounced around. "Hey there Guko!" She said.

"Oh uh...it's Goku." Goku corrected her politely and giggled.

"My bad. My memory is a little fuzzy after eating so many cupcakes yesterday, woo! I still can't believe you beat me!"

"That doesn't sound very good Pinkie," Twilight said as she walked back into the room with teacups and a boiling kettle. "You might want to see a doctor."

"Wait," Rainbow interrupted, "did I just hear that right? You beat Pinkie in a cupcake eating contest?"

"Yup! Sure did!" Goku exclaimed.

"Yup. He kicked my rump fair and square." Pinkie continued to bounce up and down. Twilight finished pouring the tea, and gave one cup to everybody. Goku was the first to sip.

"Careful, I just finished making it, it's boiling hot." Twilight warned. Goku ignored her warning, and drank anyway. Boiling water was nothing to him by this point.

"Wow, this is really good! Thanks Twilight." Goku said.

"Of course."

"So if you don't mind me asking, now that the introductions are out of the way; Where in Equestria did you come from, and how did you end up here?" Rainbow asked.

"Well...I came from Earth, my home planet." Goku said, putting down his tea. "Well...my story is really complicated, I'm not sure if you guys have the time to hear it all."

"Oh, do tell darling. We made sure we had nothing planned to come meet you." Rarity said.

"I'd like to know as well." Fluttershy said softly. As she did, a small purple dragon came walking down stairs, yawning and holding a blanket around him.

"What's going on, gals?" He asked.

"Finally decided to get up, huh Spike?" Applejack said. "You're just in time, take a seat." Spike sat down.

"Well, we're listening." Twilight said. Goku took a deep breathe in, and glanced down at the floor.

"Well...you see, I may be from Earth. But...I'm different. Most Earthlings are called Humans. All humans were born and raised on Earth. Me on the other hand...I'm a saiyan." He began.

"Saying?" Spike asked.

"Close, say it again without the g...anyways. Even though I was raised on Earth, I'm actually not a human at all. I'm pretty similar to humans, but humans are much weaker naturally. I was actually born on a far away planet called, Vegeta. My mentor told me all about the Saiyans. We apparently were a warrior race, born with a passion to fight, and incredible natural strength. Not long after we colonized our entire planet for ourselves, we were contacted by a group of aliens, who introduced themselves as the Cold Family. The saiyans made a pact with the Cold family, and using their technology, and using the saiyan might, went planet to planet, wiping out entire civilizations, and then selling off the planet to the highest bidder." Goku explained.

"That's just awful, and you're one these Saiyans? But you're so nice, so gentle it seems." Rarity said.

"Yes...at the time when I was born, there was a power struggle going on. The current ruler of the galaxy, was Lord Frieza...He was the son of King Cold, and the most powerful being the universe had. As Saiyans were beginning to multiply their strength even further, Frieza began to fear that they might rebel soon, and take control of his empire....from what King Kai told me, one day, Frieza sent out a message, for all Saiyans currently on mission to return to planet Vegeta for a celebration. In about a months time, all Saiyans were back on Planet Vegeta, including my father, who had just returned from a mission. I was born during that same week, right before he returned...Well, not long after I was born, I was put in a pod like that one that I came here in, and I was sent to Earth as an infant..." Goku continued to tell the story in as much detail as he could remember from King Kai's story.

"Going back to what you were saying Rarity, apparently when I landed on Earth, I was found by an old man, who'd later become my grandpa Gohan. He told me when he first found me I always threw fits, and tried hitting him whenever I could. Well one day, I slipped out of his arms, and fell and hit my head...after that day, the violent nature in me vanished."

"What happened to planet Vegeta?" Rainbow asked. "Don't you want to go back?"

"Well...the exact same day I was sent to Earth. My father was returning from a mission. Not long after he returned...Lord Frieza, who I had mentioned earlier...he destroyed the entire planet."

A hollow gasp filled the room from each pony, and spike.

"Like...K'boom?" Applejack asked.

"Yes...I remember seeing it in dreams I had. My friend, who is the Prince of the saiyan royal bloodline, told me himself Frieza blew the planet up. Every last saiyan was vaporized in an instant, except for me, my brother, the saiyan Prince, Vegeta, and his partner Nappa. These days, Vegeta and I are the last full blooded saiyans known to be alive. Frieza destroyed everything...he's a monster."

"You and Vegeta must be great pals then! Right?" Pinkie asked smiling.

"Ah well...you'd think so, seeing as we're the last of our kind...but, Vegeta is very proud, stubborn and full of pride. The way we actually met was very violent. To sum it all up, my brother found me on Earth, kidnapped my son, and contacted Vegeta and his partner. After fighting him with a fellow martial artist, me and my brother ended up dying."

"...wait...but you're here, right now? How are you here if you died?" Spike asked.

"Well, on Earth, we have seven magical balls that grant you any wish if you gather them all together. They're called dragon balls, because when you gather them together, and say the right words, a giant dragon comes out in a flash, and grants you any wish. After a year of training in the afterlife with my mentor, King Kai, they used the dragon balls to wish me back to life just in time to face Vegeta. He was easily twice as strong as I was, and his partner killed four of my closest friends, and almost killed my son, Gohan."

"That's...terrible!" Twilight exclaimed. "Why would he do something like that."

"We're saiyans...we have a passion for fighting, and showing our dominance. Besides, he never hit his head like I did. He grew up around Lord Frieza and his wicked ways, it was all he knew. However, with the training I received from the afterlife, I managed to sum up the strength along side my best friend and my son to defeat Vegeta!" Goku exclaimed proudly.

"Um...I want to know more, what happened after that?" Fluttershy asked quietly.

"Yeah!" The others agreed without hesitation.

"Really? Wow, okay. I guess I'll keep going then. After defeating Vegeta, we needed the dragon balls to bring my friends back to life after being killed by Vegeta's partner. Problem was...since Piccolo died, the dragon balls ceased to exist...at least on our planet. We learned that Piccolo was also an alien from a distant planet named Namek. We figured if we go there, there's bound to be a set of dragon balls we can use. So, while I was recuperating from the battle, my friend Bulma and her father built a spaceship for me to go to Namek in. Bulma managed to depart first with my best friend, Krillin, and my son Gohan. Not long after that, I was given a senzu bean, which has the ability to instantly heal your body back to 100%...come to think of it, a Senzu bean would come in handy right about now ahehehe."

"Wow, this Bulma must be a genius to be able to build things that fly through space!" Twilight said. "I'd love to meet her one day if I could. I'm a scientist myself."

"Oh, wow that's great! Well, as soon as I was back on my feet, I too took off from Earth, and headed for Namek! Luckily, Bulma's father taught her everything she knows, so he was the perfect one to build my ship. He installed a gravity amplifier built right into the ship for me to use in training. Throughout my journey to Namek, I trained at different levels of gravity, increasing the gravity as I got stronger. In the end, I was able to withstand a force of gravity 100x the gravity on Earth, where I'm from. Come to think of it, the gravity here is pretty similar to Earth's."

"OnE HUNDRED?!" Everybody shouted, even Fluttershy.

"B-b-but that's impossible! You must weight over 200 pounds at least, that means..." Twilight thought for a moment, you'd weight 20,000 pounds!? TEN TONS!"

"Yup! The machine could've gone higher, but I didn't have enough time to. Besides, I needed to let my body rest before I landed. Well, when I landed on Namek, I was expecting an easy mission. Get the dragon balls, make our wish and leave...well you remember Lord Frieza, right?" Goku asked. Everypony nodded. "Well...apparently Vegeta had the same plan as us, to go to Namek and use the dragon balls. Frieza caught wind of his plans, and went there himself to wish for immortality...he was there, on planet Namek, and by the time I got there, my best friend, Vegeta, and my son were nearly dead."

"Gosh. You just have the worst luck, don't you..." Fluttershy said.

"Luckily, I had plenty of senzu beans to feed them, which healed them back to full strength instantly. Frieza had sent his elite squad of soldiers to stop my son and my best friend, who had ended up teaming up with Vegeta to fight the elite Ginyu Force. After a fierce battle, I defeated two of them with ease, it was almost too easy in fact. I had become so strong, I didn't even know myself. the third soldier flew off to get his captain, and when they got back, a whole bunch of stuff happened...like, really weird." Goku explained.

"The captain guy knew a special trick to switch bodies with his victim. Well, first he switched his body with mine, because I was more powerful than him, and then he switched it back after he realized he didn't know how to use my body. Then after that, he tried to switch with Vegeta, who had killed the last soldier besides Captain Ginyu. Luckily, I managed to make Ginyu switch bodies with a frog by mistake."

"Pffftt HAH!" Rainbow laughed out loud. "A frog? Seriously? I guess this Ginyu guy got...Croaked!" Goku and Pinkie suddenly burst out laughing, quickly running out of breathe.

"That's a good one." Pinkie said. Twilight shook her head sarcastically. "Anyways, continue."

"Well, that battle left me so badly damaged, Vegeta had to put me in some sort of healing tank. He put a breathing mask on, closed the tank, and suddenly it filled up with some blue liquid. I don't know what it was, but it felt really good, and while I was in there healing, I used my ki sensing ability to feel how the rest of the battle with Frieza was going. While Frieza was off on the other side of the planet, I guess they wished Piccolo back to life with Namek's dragon balls, and brought him to Namek to help fight. After that, I felt an enormous energy spike up, again and again. It was Frieza, and when it seemed like he was about to lose, his energy shot up tremendously. Three times in fact."

"Sounds interesting." Applejack said.

"A little while after his third jump in power, the healing tank was finished, and I was able to get out. Us saiyans have unique abilities to gain incredible amount of strength after coming back from the brink of death. Since I had almost died, I got a huge power increase. I quickly rushed to the battle to find Frieza, about to kill Vegeta with his own hands. It was the first time I had seen him..."

"What did Frieza look like?" Spike asked.

"Not what I expected...He stood on two legs like me, but he had a big round head, white and purple bio-armor or something like that, and a long white tail. The one thing I still can't get out of my head, are his eyes. His red, menacing eyes along with his voice. Truly haunting..."

"Whoa~." Everybody whoa'd.

"Vegeta, in his dying breaths, told me the truth of our planet, and the saiyans...I can still remember his voice, and his tears as he lied on the ground...'Kakarot, please...defeat Frieza. He must die by the hands of a Saiyan'....after he passed, I buried him, and faced Frieza. His power was incredible, unlike anything I had ever seen. You think I'm strong...he was barely using half his power by the time I realized that either we would die, or he would. As a last ditch effort, I gathered up energy from the surrounding planets, and created a massive spirit bomb, which is like a ball of little amounts of energy given by every plant, and animal on a planet brought into one ball. This one I made was almost as big as Namek itself...I used it against Frieza, and I got a direct hit...but then, as soon as I thought we had one..."

"...Oh no, does he come back?" Spike asked, shaking. Goku closed his eyes, and only nodded.

"The spirit bomb wasn't enough. We only pissed him off more. In an instant, he critically wounded Piccolo, and the next...threw Krillin into the sky, and literally vaporized him...thinking about it makes my blood boil to this point...but I know we can bring him back. Going back to when Frieza first blew up planet Vegeta, the biggest reason he blew it up is because of his fear, that one day a super saiyan would be born amongst us."

"What's a super saiyan?" Rainbow asked.

"A super saiyan...is a legendary warrior that apparently is born every one thousand years, and possesses incredible power. It is believed, that a super saiyan is undefeatable."

"Wow!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Yeah...in the moment that Krillin was killed, I knew either my son, or I was next...so there I stood, clenching my fists in rage, and uncontrollable anger. The inner saiyan rage that had disappeared when I hit my head was coming back to me. As lightning struck the ground all around me, something remarkable happened...My hair, stood up high, and suddenly, turned blonde, and a yellow aura of energy came from within me. I had transformed...into a super saiyan!"

"Wait...so, you're the legendary super saiyan?" Twilight asked.

"I guess so....but the power awakened inside me. I used it to defeat Frieza. In the final moments of our battle, Frieza tried to blow up Namek in a desperate attempt to escape and blow me up with the planet. He failed, and sealed his fate...As we fought on the dying planet, his power began to drop as he became exhausted. In the end, his own over confidence and carelessness got the best of him, and he ended up cutting himself in half..." Rarity nearly fainted at hearing such gruesome details.

"Sorry about that." She said, "I'm not used to hearing such things."

"Don't worry about it. It's not for everyone." Goku replied, "Well...with Frieza out of the way, the next thing was getting off that planet. During our battle, the wish granting dragon re-appeared, and a surviving Namekien made a wish for everybody on the planet to be transported to Earth, except me and Frieza. With the planet on it's last few seconds, I found the pod that belonged to captain Ginyu. I climbed in, cranked the engines up and punched it...and that's how I ended up here." Goku finally finished his long story.

The ponies sat in silence and and disbelief, looking at each other, and then back to Goku.

"I had no idea you had been through so much...no wonder you were in such bad shape when we found you." Twilight said.

"What an amazing story...the story of Goku!" Rarity exclaimed.

"That was totally awesome!" Rainbow shouted in glee as she jumped into the air.

"I've heard quite a number of stories from ponies comin' and goin' on the farm, and I gotta say that is one hell of a story." Applejack explained.

"Well...I'm glad you liked it...I'm sorry it took so long to tell." Goku peered out of the window, realizing it was now night time. "How long was I talking?"

"Don't worry about it, we all enjoyed it." Twilight said.

"Can we see what a super saiyan looks like? Huh, can we, can we?" Pinkie bounced wildly.

"I would...if I could, but in my current state, it would tear my body apart. Sorry to disappoint."

"It's quite alright darling." Rarity said.

Everybody laughed and enjoyed the bonding moment. Goku sat and thought of his battle...Gohan, Chi Chi...his family was somewhere out there across the galaxy, thinking of him.

A Visit to Zecora. Goku Takes to the Sky!

Goku and Fluttershy didn't get home until very late the previous night from Twilight's place. After Goku had told the tale of his origin, and how he got to Equestria, they spent the rest of the evening playing games and enjoying AJ's freshly brewed cider.

Sunlight peaked through the window on to Goku's closed eyes, opening them lightly. "Morning already?" He said. He rubbed his eyes and yawned as he sat up on the couch. The front door to Fluttershy's cottage opened up suddenly, and Goku looked at the doorway.

"Morning Flutts! What are you doing up so early?" Goku asked.

"I must be up early every morning to put feed out for my friends of course." Fluttershy flew in and put her baskets down. "I also spoke with Zecora, I'm going to take you to her today. She has some special things for you to help you get better."

Goku perked up with excitement. "Aw, really! I hope it works, man I've been beat the past couple weeks, asleep or not." He stood up carefully and put on his training shoes. "You know, I'm still surprised you guys managed to take these off of me. They weigh like 50 kilos each."

"Yes, Applejack and his brother said they were heavy." Goku buttoned up his jeans and made his way to the door. "Let me grab some water before we go."

"Yea, no problem." Goku replied, "By the way, thank you for your help the past couple weeks. I don't know how I'm gonna repay you."

"It's what I do." Fluttershy smiled at Goku as she returned with a canteen of fresh water. "Follow me."

"So this Zecora pony, she lives deep in these creepy woods?" Goku asked, pushing past the thick brush.

"Yes, but don't worry. I know the way." Fluttershy navigated her way through the everfree forest carefully, avoiding every branch and fern with precision, while Goku, with his significantly larger body, was having a difficult time keeping up.

"OW!" Brambles and thorns pokes and scratched Goku, tearing a small hole in his jeans Rarity made him. "Darn it. How much further?"

"Oh..we're here." Fluttershy said, pushing the ferns aside and revealing a treehouse.

"Man, you ponies sure do like living in trees." Goku scratched the back of his neck. The front door to the home opened up, and Zecora stepped out to welcome them. "Whoa, a zebra!"

"Welcome, Son Goku. It is so good to meet you." Zecora said with a smile. "Please, come in and sit. Let us relax, and talk for a bit." Zecora led them inside her humble shelter, where her cauldron was bubbling with a wicked and exotic brew as usual. An aroma occupied the room, one that Goku knew all too well.

"Is that..." He sniffed, having a very strong sense of smell compared to humans. "G-g-grape?" He said in fear.

"Let me examine your wounds...

Ok. I'm too lazy and don't have the motivation to keep coming up with rhymes for Zecora. Let's just pretend she doesn't have OCD and talks like a normal pony...or...Zebra I guess.

"Let me examine your wounds. I assume you have been healing already, yes?" Zecora asked.

"Yes, but it still hurts sometimes. I definitely can't use my energy at all or I'll just injure myself again, at least for a while." Goku explained. Zecora nodded and grabbed a dish, and filled it with the purple brew that was in the caldron.

"This will aid in your healing. It's effects are slow, and may take a day or two, but at least you won't feel so blue."

"Aw do I have to? It's grape flavor isn't it." Goku held the dish and looked at his reflection in the hot liquid. "Eh...what's the worst that can happen. Maybe grape isn't as a bad as I remember it."

Goku brought his lips to the crest of the dish, and tipped it slightly, allowing him to consume the liquid. As soon as he finished, and sighed and put down the dish. "Ech, I hate grape." Zecora laughed softly, and took the dish.

"I would have chosen a different flavor, but grape was a key ingredient."

"Thank you Zecora." Fluttershy said, "Also, you wouldn't happen to have finished the medicine for Angel have you? His fever is coming back."

"Ahh yes. I have it right here." Zecora pulled out a small vial of orange liquid. Fluttershy pulled out five bits and put them on the table. "The bunny called Angel, will feel better in no time at all." Fluttershy put Angel's medicine in her bag she had brought with her.

"Please come back soon again Fluttershy, for I must tell you about this guy." Zecora winked at Fluttershy.

"Oh yes, certainly. My next day off is in three days...if that's ok?"

"Splendid! I will see you then." Zecora led them out and back into the everfree, and saw them off back to Ponyville.

"Thanks for the healing stuff Ms Zecora!" Goku said.

"No need to be so formal, just call me Zecora." She replied with a smile.

With that, Goku and Fluttershy made their way back towards Ponyville.

The next day, Goku sat with his legs crossed out in the field just outside Fluttershy's house. His eyes remained shut as the wind blew though the grass which danced back and forth. He could feel Zecora's remedy taking effect, aiding his body in healing itself faster. Though he was still far from perfect, Goku felt that it was time to stretch his legs.

Fluttershy came out of the cottage for lunchtime feeding, and saw Goku sitting quietly. As she fed, she would glance over at him every now and then to see if he would move. 'I hope everything is alright' she thought to herself.

The feed that lied scattered on the ground suddenly began moving slowly across the ground. The wind had changed direction rapidly, and picked up a little. Fluttershy's mane became caught in the wind and blew across her face, covering her eyes completely.

"Oh goodness." She shook her head and her hair freed itself from her eyes. She opened them and realized the wind was coming from the direction of him...from Goku.

She looked over, and saw Goku hovering above the ground, and rising. A meter off the ground. Two meters. Three meters. He stopped at five meters above the ground, and unfolded his legs so it looked like he was standing on thin air. Fluttershy looked in awe. He was flying. He was really flying! No wings, no magic. He was just floating there!

"How are you doing that?" She asked quietly as she watched. Goku turned around to face her.

"Hey Fluttershy! Look at me, I can fly again woohoo!" He slowly, and cautiously did a single front flip in the air, and landed on his feet. "Wow...I can't believe how amazing that felt to finally stretch my legs again."

"Stretch your legs? You say that like it was easy. You don't even have wings." Fluttershy inspected Goku's back closely just to make sure he wasn't playing a trick on her.

"Well, believe or not this is the tip of the iceberg. Once I'm fully healed, I'll show you what I can really do."

"Wow."

"Yep...to put it into perspective, I'm not even halfway healed yet. No where near in fact....but just enough to get myself into the air again."

"I...I'm. That's amazing." Fluttershy was lost for words.

"In fact, I don't think I'm done yet...come on, let's go for a fly!" Goku said. The wind picked up once again, and he rose into the air. Fluttershy, still on the ground, looked up at him.

"Oh..but, I still have to finish the feeding." She said.

"Aw come on Shy, they got plenty. Plus I'm sure they can find their own food out there."

"Oh I suppose we can go for a minute or two." Fluttershy spread her wings and took flight gracefully, following Goku into the sky. The two were now above the tree line, and could see Ponyville in the distance.

"Don't go too far ahead. I still can't fly very fast."

"Oh, no worries. I'm not much of a fast flyer like Dash is. I don't want to disturb the air for all the birds around."

"Hehe, gosh you sure do take everything into consideration when it comes to your animal friends."

"Of course. I love them all."

Goku rolled and spun around as well as he could, feeling the breeze on his skin. Ponyville and Equestria was so peaceful. It was truly a land of harmony and prosperity. 'From what I've seen so far this place is incredible. Everyone seems so nice. The land is so lush and green. 'If anything ever threatens this world. I'll be here to defend it.' He thought. Equestria was quickly becoming a second home to him.

Twilight's Lessons. Goku's New Move!

In the following days, the progress of Goku's healing further advanced, and his strength was beginning to truly come back to him. Though he hadn't tried to raise his ki past ten percent of his full power, his body was plenty capable of at least 25%, should he truly need the power. Goku, who was no longer dependent on Fluttershy for food and water, was hovering over the Everfree Forest, using his sharp senses to hunt for his lunch.

His stomach growled frequently as he scanned the forest floor for something to eat. "Man, I haven't had anything to eat but pony food since I got here...all vegetables and fruits. I guess ponies don't eat meat so...that makes sense I guess." He said aloud to himself.

As he flew across the treetops, he spotted a trail of hoof tracks in the mud below. Upon landing to inspect, he realized they weren't regular pony hooves. "I've seen these before...but what are they?" He quickly ran and followed the trail. It was obvious what ever came through the woods were a lot of them. Bushes and small trees were completely run down. Whatever grew out of the ground was flattened, and rotting away. Dead.

Within seconds, the scent of the animals Goku was looking for was in the air. Goku's saiyan nose picked it up as he took flight again. With his new vantage point in the sky, he saw them. A heard of wild boar. "Alright!" Goku said to himself. "Sorry I gotta do this little guys, but I'm hungry!"

Goku threw the last freshly cleaned bone in the pile with the rest of them as he put the fire he had made to cook his captures. The rest of the heard got away once he got ahold of three boar. At this point, that was planty to satisfy Goku's desire to get some meat into his body.

"Man, I feel like a whole new person...I probably should keep this a secret though. The ponies might think I'll eat them or something." He stood up, and stretched out, before taking flight towards Ponyville. "I wonder what that Twilight lady is up to. She said she needed to speak to me about something today. Better go find out what she wants!"

In no less than two minutes, he was soaring over Ponyville towards the library where Twilight lived. Passing Sugarcube Corner, he waved to Pinkie below who had spotted him passing by. Twilight's library was now in his sight as he grew closer to it; However, Goku had other plans.

"I think I got time." He said aloud, flying over the library for another circle around Ponyville. "I just can't get enough of the view up here!"

"Mornin' Goku!" A loud voice called from below as he flew past the Apple's farm. "Catch!" It was Applejack, who bucked a single apple into the sky. Goku swooped down and caught it with a single hand, not slowing down even a little.

"Thanks AJ!"

"You bet!" Applejack yelled as Goku grew smaller as he flew further away. Finally, Goku passed Rarity's boutique heading back towards town, before finally touching down outside Twilight's place.

"Phew. Never gets old." He said to himself as he approached the door. He knocked as softly as he could to avoid damaging the door with his new strength that was building within him. Coming back from the brink of death meant a zenkai boost would soon take effect, meaning his power would increase dramatically.

Twilight soon opened the door, and welcomed him inside. "Hello, Goku! Come on in."

"Hey Twilight. What did you want to talk to me about?"

"Well...I found an interesting book that you might like." Twilight replied. Goku stood there with a blanket expression on his face.

"...Seriously? A book? But I don't like to read." He pouted.

"I was going to read it to you. It's just a chapter in a book about Equestria's history, and I wanted to see if it rung a bell. Let me see if I can find it..." Twilight suddenly vanished out of existence with a flash of purple light, leaving Goku stunned.

"Whoa, Twilight where'd you go?" Goku was looking all around and realized she was over on the other side of the room. "How did you get over there so fast? Do you have super speed or somethin'?" Twilight laughed as she found, and pulled the book from the shelf. Again, with a flash of purple light, she vanished and reappeared on the couch.

"No, I'm using my magic to teleport." She said. "Watch." Flash. She vanished. Flash! She returned, this time with two cups of hot tea from the other room.

"That's incredible! You'll have to tell me how you do that."

"In a bit, but listen to this real quick." Twilight flipped the pages of the book, scanning for the certain chapter that hadn't been published in any other book of Equestria's history that she knew of. "Ah-HA!"

"What is it?" Goku sat down.

"Well...remember what you told us about your race being sent to far away planets to conquer them, even as infants?"

"Yea, of course."

"Well, according to this book. Hundreds of years ago, in the time of peace between Nightmare Moon's banishment and return, an extraordinary event happened where an extraterrestrial vessel like the one you arrived in landed not far from Canterlot. Princess Celestia went to investigate herself, and found an infant animal in the pod asleep. An animal unlike other seen before. An alien. Celestia got it out of the ship, and laid it on the ground.

It says here, that when the infant awoke, it's eyes began glowing red, and its body began to twitch. Suddenly, fur grew rapidly all over the body, and its size grew and grew, until it was the size of a small mountain. It turned into a vicious gorilla ape like beast.

For hours, Celestia kept the beast at bay with the help of the Elements of Harmony. As time moved forward, the morning came around, and Celestia found an opening for enough time to lower the moon, and raise the sun. The moment the moon went down, the creature stopped its rampage, and shrunk back to its original state.

To prevent it from happening again...Celestia did the unthinkable. She knew she had to kill him if she was to keep Equestria safe. This event is widely unknown in Equestrian history, having only been published in books in possession by Celestia's closest friends and family. They have officially named the tragic event, 'The moonlight disaster'."

Goku sat there with the image of a massive ape ravaging the land of Equestria. "Gosh...that sounds like it was a Saiyan alright."

"So it does ring a bell?"

"Yea. Us Saiyans are actually born with tails. Under the light of the full moon, glands in those tails allow us to transform into huge destructive apes that amplify our strength ten fold! Luckily...when I was a kid, my tail was ripped off. My son was born with one as well, but he lost his in battle as well."

"I know you've said it before, but just to reassure. You're not here to lay waste to our planet, right?" Twilight asked with a fake grin on her face.

"No no I swear. I landed here by accident...but that does make me wonder. Do you think that Saiyan baby's ship is still here somewhere? If it is I can use it to get back home!"

"It's best if we ask Celestia...she'll know where it is. At least I hope."

"Yea...so, going back to that teleportation thing. How do you do that?! That's wicked cool."

"Oh...Well, it's pretty complicated. Not many unicorns can achieve it. I'm not even sure if Celestia or Luna can do it. I taught myself after reading old books from a powerful unicorn named Starswirl. In a sense, I use my magic from my horn and engulf myself with it, inside and out. Every part of my body flowing with magic."

"Uh-huh?"

"Well, at first I tried it on things like books, and small things before I did it to myself. Last thing I wanted to do was rip myself apart or something right? Anyways, using the magic I would pick up a book, or a pencil, and rip a tiny hole in space and time, and send it through, opening another hole at the destination. Everything the magic would touch would go with it, and the second it teleported, the hole would close so quickly you couldn't even tell it happened. You can't see the rip in space and time, only see the object, or me for instance, disappear and reappear."

Twilight tried to explain as best she could, before giving Goku another demonstration. Her horn glowed purple, which spread out to the rest of her body. With Twilight surrounded in purple aura, she popped out of sight, and reappeared across the room.

"I am going to give it a rest for a while though, it tends to take it out of me."

"Hm...I wonder if I could do the same thing with my energy?" Goku said aloud as he thought in his head how he could manipulate energy like Twilight manipulated her magic.

"Possibly. For all I know, what you describe as energy could be very similar to what we call magic. But it would take years of training and practice to even start." Twilight said proudly, using herself as an example with all her experience behind her.

"You'd be surprised." Goku said as he closed his eyes and began to focus intensely on his energy. He could feel his energy, and all the energy of the planet around him flowing, breathing, moving around him. He took two fingers and put them on his forehead, similar to the horn on Twilight. Energy seeped out like fire and grew around his index and middle finger, growing around his head and down past his shoulders and even further. Soon, energy was all around him, as he focused harder.

Goku was sure he could pull it off with his years of energy control training. Though he could feel it was very different than magic, he had a feeling the technique could be copied almost exactly like Twilights. But something was missing...

"Something's missing. I don't know what. But something is just missing." He said aloud, letting his energy return from his body.

"Well, when I was younger I had my babysitter help me with teleporting things. When I started, I didn't start with teleporting individual items across existence. I started by having two items. One would act as a start, the other as a destination. Cadence would hold one up for me while I focused on the other. With the other one to help me focus on a destination, I was able to switch them!"

"Hm...Maybe if I focus on somebody else's energy it will do something."

Goku went back to it. Eyes closed. Energy flowing. Focusing intently on teleporting...all the energy of Equestria around him giving him limitless destinations. He looked for energy through the town. Through the Everfree Forest, and back through to Twilight's library. Suddenly, with a whoosh, Goku disappeared...he vanished!

Twilight nearly spat out her tea in shock. "Goku?!" She yelled, but to no response. She put down the tea and ran outside. "Goku?" She called again.

"Ahehe...Hey Twi!" She heard Goku behind her. She turned around and looked back at the library, and realized Goku was stuck in the tree. "Guess I need to practice huh? But now I know I can really do it!"

"Incredible Goku! You just keep amazing me!"

"Are you kidding? At this rate I'm even impressing myself...uh, could you help me get down?" He asked with a smile. Twilight used her magic to untangle Goku from the limbs of the tree, freeing Goku who landed on the ground face first.

"Are you okay?" Twilight asked concerned.

"Oowww...yea I'm fine. That's gonna bruise tomorrow." Goku replied, rubbing his head.

"I still can't believe you managed to pull that off...even if you did end up tangled in a bunch of branches!"

"Yea no kidding...it felt so weird. I felt all fuzzy for a split second and next thing I know I was up there." Goku explained, "I wonder what I should call this technique...hm." He thought for a second before a lightbulb appeared above his head.

"I got it!" He said with a smile, "Instant Transmission!"

"Instant Transmission hm? That's one way to call it teleportation."

"Yea, but Instant Transmission sounds way cooler!"

"I guess you're right...come on, we still tea to drink!" Twilight exclaimed happily. She reared back and with a flash, teleported into the library once more, followed by Goku running back in.

Far away, in a desolate and quiet city, a thick chilling fog covered the streets while the moon was well above the horizon. A lone stallion unicorn walked alone, carrying a barrel of oranges with him. The wind howled as he continuously stopped and checked behind him, fearing he was being followed. The wind blew again, and knocked an empty can on the ground, causing him to stop and look again. With a sigh of relief, he turned back around and continued walking.

In his immediate path, stood a dark figure with it's head completely covered. The stallion jumped back in sheer fright, and stared at what he assumed was an elder pony. His breath could be seen in the cold frosty air and he breathed heavily.

"Very sorry..." He laughed awkwardly, "You came out of no where."

"Is he friend..." The stranger spoke with a raspy voice that sent shivers down the spines of even the toughest of ponies, "or is he foe of the pony wonders. I can assure you..." He paused, "I am no friend. I am Lord Tirek, and I shall take what should have been mine long ago."

Suddenly, the stallion became paralyzed as a living nightmare stood in front of him. His magic was quickly drained from his body as his cutie mark disappeared, and the barrel of oranges fell to the floor.

Tirek stood over him with a grin, and laughed maniacally in the dark with glowing yellow eyes...

Celestia snapped awake in a cold sweat as Luna burst into her chamber. "Sister, are you alright?" She asked

"I've just had the most terrible dream."

"Why do you think I am here? You know as well as I do that this was not a dream, but a vision."

"Then we haven't much time." Celestia stood up from her bed. "The stronger he becomes...the more we are all in danger."

The Fastest in Equestria! Goku Challenges Rainbow Dash.

"So...where exactly are we going again?" Goku asked with a confused tone.

"The girls and I are all going to visit Dash in Cloudsdale today. She's becoming a wonderbolt reserve pretty soon. Oh I am so excited!" Fluttershy explained as she finished packing her saddlebags, and threw them on as she made her way to the front door of her little home.

"What's a wonderbolt?"

"Oh...well, they're the best fliers in Equestria. The very best of the best. I don't think there's anyone alive that can outfly them."

"Sounds cool! And where's this...Cloudydale place?"

"Cloudsdale, Goku, And just follow me. It won't take long, I promise." The two took flight, and Goku let Fluttershy take the lead. "The girls should all be there by the time we arrive, so let's not waste any time."

Soon, they were flying through the clouds that littered the sky. Goku felt the wind picking up, and the air temperature dropping. "Say, aren't we a little high up if we're just going to a different town?" Goku asked.

"Well this is the only way to Cloudsdale. It's the Pegasi capital nicknamed 'The Sky City' by a lot of ponies on the ground."

"...On the ground? So wait, you're telling me that Cloudsdale is in the sky?"

"Mhm."

"Wow, just like Kami's lookout back on Earth!"

"So you have a city in the sky too?"

"No, nothing like that. Just a place where our guardian Kami lives." Goku explained. "Still, I can't wait to see this!"

Twilight and the girls all sat around patiently waiting for Fluttershy to arrive with Goku, while the Wonderbolt Academy graduation ceremony was starting to begin.

"Oh, where could she be at a time like this!" Twilight paced back and forth.

"Patience, darling. You know Fluttershy isn't quite as fast as our Dash now is she?" Rarity assured Twilight they would be there soon.

"At this rate we're gonna miss Dash's graduation. I sure as heck don't wanna miss the flyby!" Applejack said.

"Me neither!" Pinkie bounced around while the others remained calm on the clouds.

"Also, remind me to give Goku the cloud spell so he won't fall through." Twilight said.

"Hey girls!" A voice yelled from behind them. It was Goku, with Fluttershy beside him. "What's up!"

"Sorry we're late Twilight...I didn't think the trip would be that long."

"Don't sweat it Fluttershy. Goku, come here real quick." Twilight waved Goku over. Her horn glowed, and flashed. "There, now you should be able to stand on the clouds." Goku landed, and got his footing on the clouds.

"Whoa! This is neat! I thought I was gonna have to fly the whole day." Goku said, jumping up and down on the soft white clouds.

"Alright fellas, let's get a move on. We don't wanna miss Dash!" Applejack led the way towards the ceremony.

"Fillies and Gentlecolts, Mares and Stallions. Welcome to the Wonderbolt Academy for gifted flyers. We are here to day in celebration of those who have survived through thick and thin, the trials and assessments of the Wonderbolt Academy, in hopes of making it into the Wonderbolts themselves." Spitfire began her speech on the podium, facing the decent crowd attending the graduation.

"It is not too often I make speeches like this, and even less often we get to see such talented ponies make it this far. These young mares, and stallions are the future of our team, and the future of what it means to be a Wonderbolt. Young fillies and colts will look up to them, just as they looked up to today's Wonderbolts, and how we looked up to the Wonderbolts before us. They are here to do what they love, and bring joy to the ponies of Equestria.

Without further delay, we will bring our five hoof picked graduates, that made it this far..."

Spitfire proceeded to bring up each pegasus to the stage one by one, giving their names, and each of them their official Wonderbolt badge. The last one, was Rainbow.

"Our last graduate, and an outstanding flyer, one that has completely shattered record after record here at the academy. She's known around the world for her signature move, the Sonic Rainboom, and we there wasn't a doubt in my mind that she would be up to the task. Rainbow Dash!"

The crowd cheered once more as Dash took to the stage with her new uniform. Spitfire clipped her new badge to the front, and saluted. Dash salutes back, and walks towards the other four pegasi to stand along side them on the stage.

"Welcome to the Wonderbolts! Altius Volantis! Soaring Higher!" Spitfire finished her speech as the five new wonder bolt reserves stepped forward. With a trail of smoke behind them, the Wonderbolts squadron flew overhead in a diamond formation, quickly disappearing out of sight.

"I. Can't. Believe it!" Dash exclaimed, unable to look elsewhere but the mirror in front of her. "I'm a WONDERBOLT!" She squealed and fangirled, bouncing up and down without holding back.

"Come now dear, we need to get you ready for the after party!" Rarity said, holding up a dress she had made for Rainbow. "You don't want to be late!"

"Ok, Rarity, first off. I appreciate the dress, but I want to wear what I earned to the party. I don't think I'll ever take this thing off...except to wash it, you know." Rainbow giggled. "Second off, you really think the fastest in Equestria is gonna be late? Fat chance!"

"Fastest in Equestria eh?" Goku said.

"Uh-huh! Nopony can keep up with Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow posed in front of the mirror again. Goku smiled to himself. 'We'll see about that' He thought.

"You are right though, I don't want to be late. Let's get going!" Rainbow led everyone out the door to her house, and flew towards the after party near the Academy.

"So you're Goku? Nice to finally meet you. Rainbow wouldn't shut up about you a couple days ago. I thought I'd have to put a muzzle on her!" Spitfire shook Goku's hand. "You're very interesting. I don't think I've ever seen anything like you before." The after party was going great, with Wonderbolts, the new reserves, and their relatives all around, drinking, talking, and having a great time.

"Oh come on, I wasn't talking that much about him, was I?" Dash defended herself, "I was just saying how we found this guy and he defeated some epic tyrant named Freezer!"

"Actually...his name was Frieza." Goku corrected.

"Is that so? I bet the Wonderbolts could've handled him just fine."

"I doubt it...this guy blew up planets with his fingertips." Goku said.

"Seriously? Sheesh, no wonder you have bruises all over you. I take it that means you're pretty strong, huh?" Spitfire asked, taking a swig of her cider.

"I was a lot worse a couple days ago...I couldn't even fly!"

"Man, I've had plenty of achy wings to know how that feels...wait, fly?" Spitfire put down her mug. "But you don't have wings? Unless you're pranking me, in which case if you are, don't. We don't need a second Dash constantly pulling pranks on us."

"No no, I use my energy to fly! Watch." Goku effortlessly began to hover in the air.

"Get out of here! I've seen some interesting things, but that's awesome!"

"So is it true that Dash is the fastest?" Goku put his fists together in excitement.

"I wouldn't say the fastest, but on her best days I don't think even I can keep up with her."

"Hm...would you consider it rude to challenge her to a race?" Goku asked. Spitfire was in the middle of a drink when Goku asked, and spat out the cider.

"Whoa, you? Want to race the Wonderbolts newest prodigy?" Spitfire's tone turned serious.

"You? Want to race me?" Dash fell on the floor in a fit of laughter. "Look at you Goku, you're hardly streamlined at all. Those bulky muscles are not aerodynamic at all!"

"We'll see who's laughing when I blow the sky away!" Goku said with a serious tone. A serious tone that he hadn't shown any of the ponies before. It caught Dash's attention, along with everyone else.

"You're actually serious?" Spitfire asked. "Alright...let's make this interesting. I put five hundred bits on Dash." Spitfire pulled out a medium sized bag of bits and threw them on the table. "Anypony else want in?"

"I'll throw some in!" Applejack put one hundred bits on Goku. "Winnin' all this will really help with the farm!"

Goku and Dash ignored their gambling, and just stared at each other with intense eyes. "I hope you're as fast as you say they are. I know for a fact I'd be faster than you if my body wasn't so beaten up. Right now, I think you'd be a perfect challenge for me."

"Yea? Bring it on buddy. I've been outflying everypony I know since I was a filly. You got another thing comin' if you think you can outfly me!"

Everybody was now listening in on their friendly banter.

"10am tomorrow, Earth dude! Wonderbolt Academy runway!" Dash spat on her hoof and stuck it out.

"You're on." Goku spat in his palm, and shook Dash's hoof. "10am tomorrow!"

Race To the Finish. One Lap Around Equestria!

10am, the next day, at the Wonderbolt Academy runway.

The crosswinds were calm, and the clouds were sparse across the sky while Goku and Rainbow Dash stretched alongside the runway. A perfect day for flying, and an even better day for a race to end all races. Rainbow Dash, versus the mighty Goku. Word of the race spread quickly throughout Equestria over night, and ponies from far and wide had come to witness the race. Rumor had it that Princess Celestia, and her sister, Princess Luna were making an appearance.

The loudspeakers suddenly echoed through the air, catching the attention of everyone. "Ahem...Attention race fans, the race will begin, in ten minutes!" It announced, "Please, find your seats! May we have the racers to the starting line!"

Rainbow and Goku followed each other to the start line, where the announcer stallion waited with a microphone. He wore a very sharp tuxedo, and had his main neatly combed back.

"Mares, and Stallions. Fillies, and gentlecolts. Please welcome, our two race competitors. In this corner..." He points his hoof towards Rainbow, "We have Equestria's own, super sonic rainboom specialist, the mare with nearly every Wonderbolt Academy record to her name. She's a brave hero, and the Wonderbolt's newest prodigy. Please welcome, weighing in at forty two pounds, Rainbow, 'Super Sonic' Da~sh!" The crowd cheered wildly as fireworks were shot into the air.

"And in the opposite corner, we have a not to well known guest to Equestria, though he plans to make his presence known here today. Coming from a far away planet, a warrior, a savior of the galaxy, weighing in at a hefty one hundred thirty seven pounds! Please welcome, the challenger, the exotic, Son Goku!" The cheers weren't as loud as Rainbow's, but the fans of this new challenger still roared through the packed stands along side the runway.

"Racers. Please, line up at the line." Goku and Dash took their spots at the start line. "This race will start here. You will fly north to Manehatten, followed by a sweeping left bank toward Las Pegasus. Once there, you will fly south over the Dragons Kingdom, and come back around toward here, where the first to cross the finish line, will be the winner! One lap, one winner!"

The race would be one lap going across all of Equestria, with Canterlot being in the very center. "There will be beacons along the way to make sure neither of you stray off course. There will be no shoving, dirty flying, or using clouds to your advantage." The announcer gave Rainbow Dash a quick glare.

"Without further a dew...Flyers, on your mark!" Goku and Dash got into their best position to allow them the fastest start possible. Goku, only able to use 20% of his power and speed, was on the left. Rainbow was on the right.

"Get set!" At this moment, a starting gun was raised into the air.
BANG

Time suddenly seemed to pause for both Rainbow and Goku, as their speed increased so rapidly it felt like everything around them was staying still. Though Dash took the sky immediately, Goku ran at full speed on foot to the end of the runway, accelerating rapidly. Their combined speed was so intense, it pulled the air with them, knocking ponies, chairs, umbrellas, and many other things over.

"Oh my!" Rarity exclaimed sitting in the crowd. The massive gust of wind caused by their start ruined her mane.

Now at the end of the runway, Goku launched himself in the air, and went faster still. 'Running to the end of the runway should have given Dash a fair enough head start.' He thought to himself. Quickly approaching the first beacon, Goku banked right towards Manehatten, and spotted Rainbow ahead, followed by a rainbow streak that slashed through the sky.

Up ahead, speed traps were set up in the sky to measure the speed, and distance between the two of them, relaying live timing information back to the runway.

The announcer read aloud as they crossed the speed trap. "Already forty seconds into the race, Rainbow and Goku are halfway to Manehatten. Rainbow is in the lead, followed by Goku. A healthy gap of three seconds lie between them!"

'Incredible, I never would have thought these ponies were capable of such speed with just a pair of wings!' Goku thought, 'Looks like I need to pick up the pace.' Goku continued his accelerating, nearing the highest speed he was capable of in the condition of his healing body. He could see Rainbow edging closer and closer.

Down below in Manehatten, ponies took to the streets in hopes of catching a glimpse of the race high above. Spotters sat on top of the skyscrapers with binoculars. One spotted them, and picked up their walkie talkie. "They're over Manehatten!"

Back at the runway, the announcer spoke. "Our sources bring us news that they have arrived at Manehatten. Goku is closing the gap rapidly, down to 1.2 seconds!"

Coming up on the second beacon, Goku inched closer to Rainbow. The closer he got, the dirtier the air got, as Rainbow's speed and wings were causing turbulence in the air behind her. Goku knew he had to keep a little distance until there as an opening.

As they passed the second beacon, rainbow banked left, and left a gap open on the inside. Goku pounced, and took a risky dive bomb up the inside. Ponies down below cheered as spotters on the skyscrapers watched in awe.

"Goku is making his move on the inside as they make the left turn towards Las Pegasus!"

Rainbow looked in awe as Goku passed her, and started pulling away as they came out of the left turn. "Oh no you don't!" She yelled, getting into Goku's slip stream for a little extra speed. 'There's plenty of distance left, I'll stay in his slipstream and wait for him to get tired!' She thought.

"Rainbow is sitting comfortably behind Goku in his slipstream. What could she be up to? The gap between them is a steady .8 second!"

Goku noticed Rainbow in his slipstream, and weaved to the right in an attempt to shake her out of it. Rainbow's quick reactions kept her glued behind him as they tore through the sky, leaving a trail of cloudless sky behind them.

"Goku is trying to shake Rainbow off his tail, but Rainbow fights back with some exceptional flying! The gap remains less than one second as they approach Las Pegasus with three miles left!"

In Las Pegasus, ponies too had their eyes glued to the sky, eager to see Rainbow and Goku's flyby. A pegasus looked with her hoof over her forehead blocking out the sun. Through a squint, she could see them in the distance.

"I see them! I see them!!" She shouted. Suddenly, she realized she was in a bad spot, as Goku and Rainbow came closer much faster than she anticipated. She screamed in fear as the two of them split up, and flew on either side of her. The wind that followed them knocking her out of control and on to a soft cloud below.

"Amazing! Intel from Las Pegasus reports they are neck and neck as they reach the third beacon! Now it's on to the Dragon Lands. Who knows what dangers they'll have to avoid there!"

Rainbow took the opportunity of Goku avoiding the stray pegasus in the sky to cut through. They were now side by side as they turned toward the Kingdom of the Dragons, with Rainbow on the inside line inching ahead.

Miles ahead, Dragons flew through the sky, fighting, breathing fire, and attacking anything that flew nearby.

The crowd back at the runway cheered as Rainbow took the lead. "Rainbow has taken back the lead!"

With Las Pegasus far behind them now, the air was turning warm and humid as they neared the Dragons. The cloud layer between them and the ground grew thick, and soon, it looked like a blanket of snow was below them.

Suddenly, a dragon burst through the clouds, flying straight up and towards Goku and Rainbow. The two flew opposite directions, weaving in and out of each other creating a helix shape, causing the Dragon to miss its mark. Goku broke the weaving and dove down to just above the cloud layer, creating a wake in the clouds behind him. Rainbow remained a little higher.

Another dragon suddenly appeared, this time, coming from above with the sun behind them. It headed straight for rainbow. With the sun behind them, Rainbow failed to spot the dragon until it was too late. It knocked her out of the sky and barreling towards the clouds. She quickly regained balance as she fell through, and soon popped back out behind Goku.

"Oooo, a nasty hit from a dragon sends Rainbow back into second place; However, she seems uninjured, and is right behind Goku! From here on out, they are too far in the Dragon's land for any of our spotters to see them in those dangerous lands!"

As they flew above the cloud layer, a massive dragon, bigger than any of the ones before, flew up from below the cloud layer. It spread its wings in front of Goku and roared a concussively loud screech. Rainbow dove below the cloud layer, and went under. Goku covered his ears and kept going, unable to see a way out. With a shout, he drove a fist forward, and punched through the dragons left wing, leaving a decent sized hole in it.

"Jeez, what a loud mouth!" He said as he regained his lost speed. The dragon held its wing in pain as he did his best to fly down with his one good wing. Rainbow popped back up in front of Goku from beneath the clouds, as they reached the last beacon, signaling the final stretch back to the runway. They turned left once again, and headed back north out of the Dragon Kingdom.

Their speed began to decrease, as the hot humid weather of the Dragon Kingdom took its toll, but never the less, their speed was still incredible.

"This just in, they are now coming out of the Dragon Kingdom, and are on the final stretch home. Everypony, look to the sky toward the south! Who will come out on top!"

Goku began to lose ground on Rainbow as the runway grew nearer. The finish line was now in sight as ponies cheered loudly. "No!" He yelled, "Come on, come on!" Goku pushed harder, and barely gained any ground. "I'm...not...gonna make it!" He pushed.

"I'm gonna win!" Rainbow yelled, now diving toward the runway with Goku in hot pursuit. Goku was now along side her. Neck and neck. The air in front of Rainbow began to compress into a cone as their speed increased faster than ever before in the dive.

Goku knew this was his last chance to do it. "Only one thing left to do...Body, don't fail me now!" He said.

Suddenly, Rainbow shot ahead as a sonic rainboom cracked the sky. "Here goes nothing!" Goku said.

"Kaio-KEN!" Goku's aura flared up like fire, and covered him. Suddenly, his speed doubled, and he began to catch Rainbow with incredible velocity.

Ponies in the crowd gasped as the fiery aura of Goku pierced the sky after Rainbow's rainboom. Goku yelled in pain as he neared closer and closer, passing Rainbow easily as they flew over the runway toward the finish. Rainbow, tired, and surprised, was spun out of control by the sudden pass. Goku crossed the finish line so quickly, the whole thing was blown over. Goku quickly and beautifully came to a stop at the end of the runway, where a long crater was behind him that lead all the way to where he stood.

Rainbow, tumbled out of the sky, and regained control as she crossed the finish line that was now in pieces. She looked ahead at Goku, who was now on one knee breathing heavily.

Everyone stood in shock, mouths open, and eyes as wide as the moon. The announcer picked himself off the ground as dust cleared. He fixed his mane, and tuxedo, before picking up the mic once more.

"Mares and Stallions, I present to you. The winner, Son Goku!" He pointed towards Goku at the end of the runway. The crowd cheered loudly as Rainbow stood with her mouth agape.

"I...lost?" She said. Spitfire was on the sideline with the same look.

"She...Lost?!" Spitfire said. Applejack walked over to her with a smug look, and extended a hoof. Spitfire looked at her angrily, handing over the five hundred bits she had bet.

"Better luck next time sugarcube!" AJ said.

"Yea yea, consider that beginners luck!"

The girls all rushed over to Goku, who turned around to greet them. "Hey girls...ach." He collapsed to one knee once again, holding his left shoulder.

"Are you okay, Goku?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yea, I'm fine...I just used the Kaio-ken a little too early. It's damaged my body a little bit."

"Kaio-what?" Pinkie asked.

"I'll explain later...Does anybody have any water?"

"Right here, champ." Rainbow's voice said from behind all of them. She tossed Goku a water bottle and walked up to him, holding out her hoof. Goku fist bumped it with a smile. "I don't know where you were hiding all that speed, but that was awesome! Still...I can't believe you beat me."

"You would have won if I didn't use my last resort technique. It was a risk I was willing to take to win." Goku explained. "But...aaghh," Goku groaned in pain, "Now my body is beaten up again. I'll be alright though, just give me a minute heh."

"You two!" Spitfire suddenly yelled from behind with a stern look on her face. "I have to say...you put on quite the show. If I would've known Equestria was going to respond like this I would have taken more time to organize it. This really brought a lot of attention to the Wonderbolts Academy. This race is going to help expand our legacy throughout all of Equestria! Thank you Rainbow, Goku."

"Yes, Ma'am!" Dash saluted.

"So...what now?" Goku asked, sitting on the ground.

"Hang on!" Spitfire interrupted, "I'm not finished. Since you two ruined half the runway, you're going to spend the rest of the day FIXING IT!" Goku and Dash grew wide eyed, and looked behind Spitfire at the runway that had nearly been blown away.

"Echh, whoops." Goku said. "I'm sorry for ruining your runway!" Goku's voice became shaky as he giggled like it does when Bulma yells at him. "We'll fix it as soon as we can, right Dash?" Goku put his hands together looking at Spitfire.

"Right!" Dash replied.

"Good! Now get to work!"

Goku put collapsed on to the ground exhausted as he and Rainbow finished fixing the runway. The spectators and all those who came for the races had all but gone home for the day. The only ones who remained, were Twilight and the girls.

"Hey Goku!" Twilight said, "You alright?"

"Yea, I'm fine...boy, today was a great day. Felt so good to finally stretch my legs for real." Goku replied.

"That's great to hear. I was really hoping Celestia would be here to watch...but it's weird, I haven't heard from her in a couple days. I hope everything is alright."

"Celestia? Oh you mean you're princess, right?" Goku asked.

"Yes, her and Luna rule over Equestria. Haven't we been over this?"

"Yea...Sorry I forgot." Goku rubbed the back of his neck with a smile. "Anyways, did she say she was going to come?"

"Well, a couple days ago she said she was going to come down here to meet you. It's not every day an alien visits, so it was a big deal to her. Oddly, I haven't heard from her since then...I was going to pay her a visit soon to make sure everything was okay."

"Yea, that does sound strange." Goku said. Rainbow and the rest of the girls now joined in on their conversation, walking over and sitting down.

"You know what the best part about losing is?" Rainbow asked.

"Finding out that you can still get better!" Goku answered. "Trust me, I know that one all too well. I thought I had gotten as strong as I could before I fought Vegeta...but he kicked my butt easily. It's moments like those that make me realize that I've got so much to learn, you know?"

"Exactly!" Rainbow exclaimed.

The girls laughed as the sun began to set on the horizon.

An Emergency! Celestia Sends Discord.

Meanwhile, in Canterlot during the big race, the three princesses held a very private meeting in Celestia's personal chamber. "Shouldn't we wait for Twilight to arrive? This matter is a danger to all of Equestria. It is wise that all princesses be present, sister." Luna begged.

"I know...but we are running out of time. I can feel his strength growing more and more out there. I will send a message to Twilight informing her to hide at all costs. Tirek mustn't know of a fourth alicorn's presence at all costs!"

"So what are we to do?" Cadence asked. "How we can we do our part?"

"I haven't gotten that far yet; However, I do have a plan to try and stop Tirek, or at least slow him down until we can figure out what do to." Celestia paused, "You may not like it..."

"Sister...don't tell me-"

"Yes. We need Discord's help. Yes, we three could easily defeat Tirek at his current state, but it's too much of a risk. If he absorbs even just one of us of our magic, we will be powerless to stop him. If Discord is defeated, we still might have a chance to at least find a way out and survive."

"Then it's true...I knew this day something beyond our strength would come. I saw it in my dreams during my imprisonment." Luna thought back to her banishment. The visions she had of Equestria burning in eternal flame. "I thought those dreams came from anger, and my bitterness towards you all in the form of Nightmare Moon. I guess I was wrong."

"Yes...Luna, do you think you can go contact Twilight the next time she is in her sleep, while I get Discord?" Celestia asked.

"Of course, I will do that first thing tonight."

"And what am I to do your highness?" Cadence asked.

"While I get Discord, keep a low profile here in Canterlot. If Tirek is spotted nearby, escape into the royal catacombs. There are emergency exits built everywhere that can be opened with Alicorn magic for that purpose."

"I understand." Cadence replied.

"What if all else fails, sister." Luna looked upon her older sister in fear, "What if Discord fails...or worse, betrays us?" A moment of silence fell between them all. Celestia looked at the ground with closed eyes and sighed.

"Then we will have no choice but to rid ourselves of our magic."

Luna and Cadence looked at each other with their mouths agape; however, even they knew it was the only way...

"I understand..." Luna replied.

That night, Celestia quietly fled to Ponyville to search for Discord. Upon her departure, Princess Luna dove into the dreamland, where she quickly found contacted Twilight.

Twilight walked quietly through a foggy Ponyville under a moonlit sky. Luna called from above. "Twilight!"

"Princess Luna?" Twilight replied, "What are you doing here?"

"Hush now Twilight. You must listen. When you awaken, you must head for safety as quickly as you can. Tirek, a magic absorbing monster has escaped tartarus and is spreading havoc through Equestria. He grows stronger by the minute, and soon he will come after us Princess'."

Twilight gasped. "Can't...Can't we all help some how?" She asked.

"We are unsure, but we have to be extremely careful. We cannot risk Tirek getting his hands on alicorn magic. If he does, nothing will, and nothing can stop Tirek. Princess Celestia has gone to get Discord to try and deal with him. We have faith that he will bring Tirek down."

"And if he fails?" Twilight asked.

"Celestia ordered that in the unlikely event that Discord fails, the four princess', including her, must rid themselves of their magic so Tirek may never wield it." Twilight's eyes widened as she realized the seriousness of the situation. She could only nod in response.

"I understand...where should I go?" She asked.

"Meet us at the castle in Canterlot as quickly as you can. If Discord fails, we will all go our separate ways and spread out as far as we can."

"Yes. Right away!" Twilight bowed to her fellow princess, and Luna turned to leave.

"Good luck, Twilight Sparkle!"

Back in the dreamworld, Luna searched for any clues as to Tireks whereabouts through the dreams of other ponies. She searched and searched, and found nothing. Hardly anypony was dreaming at all.

"This is bad...with no magic, thousands of ponies have no connection to the dreamworld. They can dream, but I can't see any of it...which means I need to look where there aren't any dreams!" She realized that if she could see a somebody's dream, it was because Tirek had not found them yet.

She turned to look further, but was suddenly stopped by a shadowy figure.

"Stop right there!" It yelled. Luna gasped at this familiar figure she hadn't been face to face with in years. "Luna...You must listen to me."

"I will not listen to you! Never again!" Luna backed away in fear.

"I am not here to hurt you! I know the danger Equestria is in!"

"You put Equestria in just as much danger. You threatened to leave Equestria in darkness!"

"You're wrong Luna...Yes, the night would've reigned for a very long time, but that does not mean I would not tend my subjects! Whatever you perceive as evil or good, royalty still have a kingdom to look after."

Luna looked on in silence. "You are the princess of the night. the princess of darkness...and you know your strength lies within me! Combined with the power of your sister, and Cadence, you can defeat Tirek!"

"No...I will never become you again!" Luna snarled.

"You have always been me. You think I am a demon within you, but I am merely just a manifestation of your true strength. Your true love for the night! I am not here to tell you to take over Equestria, Luna. I am here telling you to save it! You became me, because you wanted to! You've always had control over me, and you know it!"

Luna looked down at the ground in shame...she was right.

"Without you, or sister. Equestria will fall no matter what. Day, night, sun, moon. Equestria will burn. It's the only way..."

Luna turned away from the black shadow, and closed her now teary eyes. The shadow faded with a gust of wind as Luna opened her eyes again.

"I know..."

She took a moment to snap herself out of it, and took a deep breath. In front of her, she saw somebody having a massive nightmare. Her eyes widened in curiosity. She could feel it coming from Fluttershy's house. Quickly, she went into the dream and found herself in a world covered covered in lava, with lightning relentlessly striking what little ground there was left.

"Is...this Equestria?" She asked, as she looked across the hellish landscape. Tornadoes tore through and destroyed anything in their paths. Lightning blew rocks to bits, and lava poured out of every crevice and hole in the ground.

Below, a massive crack exploded, sending a shockwave through the air. Luna jumped in fear and looked down below, and saw two beings in a duel. Fighting at an incredible pace the likes she had never seen. One fighter stood shorter than the other, with white and purple skin with a tail. The other, a taller, shirtless creature with standing blonde hair. Both of them were shrouded in aura similar to magic. In reality, it was very different than magic.

Luna casted a magic bubble around her to protect herself from the elements of the dream, and observed closely at the battle. The two fought intensely, both with intent to kill the other. Each attack had nothing held back as their sheer power shook the ground.

"Who is this...and what is their dream doing here?" Luna thought. Soon, the blonde haired warrior defeated the other, and was soon looking for a ship to escape in. Luna continued to follow and watch from afar.

"Come on, come on! Piece of junk!" She could hear him yelling from within a ship. "No!" He yelled again. "NOOOO!" Luna realized the dream was coming to a climax, and she needed to get out of there quickly. As she pulled herself out of the dream, the planet exploded with the blonde haired warrior still on it, unable to escape.

Goku shot up and gasped in a cold sweat, his heart racing. Fluttershy quickly flew into the living room in a worry. "I could hear you panicking in your sleep, are you alright?" She asked.

"Yea...I just keep having this nightmare about Namek...I keep dreaming that I...I..." He took a deep breathe. "I didn't make it." Fluttershy rubbed the beck of his neck softly.

"There there. You're alright...How are you doing after the race? Still a little achy?"

"Yea, a little. Better now though."

"Good. Let me make you some tea."

"You're the best!" Goku smiled with glee. A sudden knock at the door startled them both. "Who could that be at this time of night?" Goku asked. Fluttershy quickly looked through the peephole, and opened the door. A dark blue alicorn stood outside.

"Princess Luna! What are you doing here at this time of night?" Fluttershy asked.

"I was in the area talking to Twilight when I saw somepony's nightmare...or in this case, somebody." Luna stared at Goku. "Who are you? I've never seen a creature like you before in Equestria."

"Yo! I'm Goku!"

"Goku? I think I recall hearing that name in one of Princess Twilight's letter to Celestia." She walked inside and looked upon the man with curious eyes. "Tell me about the nightmare you just had."

"Whoa, how did you know about that?" Goku asked.

"Oh, she's the princess of the night. She can go into anypony's dreams at any time, so long as they are dreaming." Fluttershy explained.

"A princess? Cool. So you saw my fight with Frieza?"

"Indeed...I also saw the planet perish along with you. Or though...I could have sworn your hair was blonde, and standing up."

"Oh, well that form is called super saiyan!" Goku exclaimed.

"Hm...interesting. May we have a demonstration?" Luna asked.

"I would...but I'm in no physical condition to show you at the moment. It would tear my body apart in seconds. Plus, I wouldn't want to ruin Fluttershy's home."

"Shame...perhaps we could have used such a great power to help us defeat him."

"Who is him?" Fluttershy asked.

"Tirek...a magic absorbing monster who is terrorizing Equestria at this very moment."

"Right now?" Goku asked. "Is..is he strong?"

"At the moment, the combined strength of myself, and the other alicorns would be enough to defeat him. Sadly, we couldn't risk one of us getting our magic absorbed. If Tirek obtained alicorn magic, there's no telling how strong he'd become."

At this point in time, Goku's eyes widened in fear, and excitement. "Seriously? Man, that doesn't sound good."

"No...Celestia has sent Discord to deal with him. Should he fail, we have a backup plan. Though we are confident Discord will get the job done, we are taking all precautions just in case."

"He stopped by earlier saying something like that. He told me he was going on an important mission." Fluttershy spoke softly. "He didn't tell me it was something like this...I hope he's alright."

"As do I." Luna spoke.

"If Tirek defeats Discord, don't worry. I'll see what I can do!" Goku said with a smile, before suddenly wincing in pain. "Oww...on second thought, you might need to hold out for a day or two. I'm still a little beat up from that race with Rainbow Dash."

"The strength I saw in your nightmare was unlike anything I had seen before. I believe you could be a viable ally in our battle, should it come to it." Luna smiled.

"Alright!" Goku said.

"I must return to Canterlot. Please, keep a low profile. The less ponies Tirek discovers, the better."

"No problem. Wait, one more thing. You said he could absorb magic and stuff like that...do you think he could absorb ki too? Like, pure energy?"

"I don't think so. When the magic is drained, the life force of the pony is still there; however, they're incredibly weak afterwards. I think if he could absorb what you call 'ki', his victims would die on the spot." Luna explained. "Though, I am not one hundred percent certain."

"Alright...well, I'm gonna get back to sleep. I'll need all the rest I can get!" Goku said.

"Of course. Here, this will help..." Luna's horn glowed, and casted a spell upon Goku. Goku looked at his hands in confusion.

"What'd you do to me?" He asked.

"I cast a spell that will prevent you from having nightmares for a while. It will help you sleep uninterrupted. I bid you farewell Goku."

"Alright, see ya!" Goku lied back down as Luna left. Fluttershy sat in the corner biting her hoof tips. "Hey, what's wrong?" Goku asked.

"Oh...it's Discord. I'm so worried. What if he gets hurt, or killed or..." She gasped, "What if he betrays us?"

"Oh come on, I doubt he'd do that...would he? I don't know I've never met the guy."

"I don't know...I'll let you get back to sleep now, Goku." Fluttershy flew back upstairs to her room, and shut the door behind her. 'Oh Discord...please be alright.'

Betrayal. The Birth of a New Warrior!

Days later, Luna was returning from a magic training session with Cadence, and Twilight to find Celestia pacing the halls of the castle with fear and worry written all over her face. Twilight and Cadence, both covered in sweat, removed the helmet armor they had worn while training. Luna kept hers on, and had seemingly forgotten about it.

"Princess Celestia," Twilight called, "Is everything alright?" Celestia turned to them trembling in fear.

"No...our greatest fears, I'm afraid, have become true." She replied, "Discord has joined forces with Tirek, and he is gaining strength faster than ever." Everybody gasped. Celestia sighed and continued, "I was a fool to believe he would help us...I couldn't think of anything else to do."

"There has to be more we can do Celestia. We can't just let him win!" Cadence spoke.

"There is nothing more we can do...we must give up our magic for the good of Equestria."

"But...where will our magic go?" Twilight asked.

"Perhaps I should clarify. Releasing our magic blindly into the open world will cause destruction. We must instead give it to somepony who can wield that magic, and hold it from Tirek." Celestia explained.

"I understand...I'll give up my magic." She said.

"No Twilight...it must be you whom we give it to." Celestia said. Again, everybody gasped.

"M..me?! But I-I've barely learned how to control my own alicorn magic. How in Equestria will I be able to control the power of three more?"

"I have faith in you my student...for Tirek does not know of your presence as an alicorn. If we give it all to you, and you flee, Tirek will be left with no where to go."

"B...But-"

"It is the only way." Cadence said. Celestia turned to Luna, and looked upon her.

"Sister, are you ready?" She said. Luna did not answer, only stared at the ground. "Luna...Luna?" She snapped out of it. Celestia used her magic to take her helmet off. "Let me take this off...you look like Nightmare Moon with that thing on." Celestia placed it on the ground.

"Wait..." Luna interrupted, "I...I know another way we can do this." She picked the helmet back up with her magic, and put the helmet back on.

"Luna...what are you doing?" Celestia looked at her with fear.

"Twilight is right. She will not be able to handle the power of all of us. We need an alicorn with experience handling alicorn magic. The other night in the dreamworld, I saw your friend, Twilight." Luna explained. "The visitor from Earth. Goku."

"You did?" Twilight asked.

"Yes. I saw him fighting a strong opponent. I watched and observed his fighting skill. His technique. I didn't tell any of you earlier, but I was using some of what I saw for myself against you and Cadence."

"So that's why you were so difficult today...I thought you were just getting lucky. Neither Twilight or I could touch you." Cadence thought back to their sparring not so long ago.

"Luna, are you suggesting we give you our power?" Celestia asked.

"Yes...but not this form." Luna said. "I had an epiphany while in the dream world that made me realize something, sister." Suddenly, Luna's pupils changed to that of a cat. A thin black piercing line through her blue eyes.

"Luna...No, you mustn't!" Celestia said, begging Luna not to transform. A black aura erupted from Luna as the moon brought itself high in the sky. Her wings, and her fur turned an empty black. "LUNA!"

Celestia dove toward the dark alicorn, but was suddenly pushed back by her magic. "NO!" Celestia began to cry.

"Sister..." It spoke, "Have faith in me, for we are one. We are the same." The black aura began to retreat, as her transformation completed. Standing before them, was none other than Nightmare Moon.

"What have you done with Luna!" Twilight began to cry as well. Nightmare Moon stood above her as she began to tremble, and reached a hoof out. "Don't touch me!" She hissed. Nightmare Moon ignored her, and softly stroked her purple mane. Twilight's trembling stopped as she looked up at the dark princess.

"Girls...I did say have faith in me. For I am Nightmare Moon. I am Princess Luna. I am the night! We are one, and one and the same. Equestria needs my power, and with your powers combined, we have a chance at defeating the evil that is Tirek." Nightmare Moon explained as she walked over to Celestia. "I can assure you sister. It's me under this dark form."

"How can we trust you? We already trusted Discord and he betrayed us!" Celestia shouted.

"Because the ponies of Equestria are my responsibility just as much as they're yours!" Nightmare Moon looked out the window nearby upon the land, covered in darkness from the moon covering the sun. Nightmare Moon then lowered the moon, uncovering the sun once again.

"You know I'm stronger than all of you. Sister, you needed the elements to defeat me. Think about it!" The four alicorns stood in silence. "There isn't much time."

Celestia sighed, "She's right."

"Celes-

"She's right, Twilight." Cadence cut Twilight off. "We must give it to her." Twilight gulped, and quietly nodded her head.

"Quickly girls, there isn't much time." Celestia spoke, leading them to the throne room.

Nightmare Moon took a deep breath, as the other three alicorns stood around her, forming a triangle. Slowly, each one of them pointed their horns above her, and quickly began pooling their magic together. A ball of colorful, pure magic quickly began to take form above Nightmare Moon, and grew larger and larger. The three alicorns quickly tapped out, and fell to the ground. Nightmare now absorbed the magic for herself, and immediately felt the effects as the ball grew smaller and smaller, with a stream of magic going to her horn.

The ball disappeared, and the ground began to shake as a mysterious wind suddenly blew the three alicorns the ground. Nightmare Moon had done it. Her magical aura burst out from within her, and she began to float in the the room they were in. "AAAAAAH!" She yelled.

"What's happening!?" Twilight yelled.

"I don't know!" Celestia shook her head, and could only watch. The stained glass which told the stories of Equestria were blown out by sheer force from Nightmare's new found power. Her aura now took form of a sphere around here, and spun rapidly as she hovered in the air.

Miles away, a napping Goku snapped awake. "What the...what the hell is that?" He could feel an incredible power coming from Canterlot. "Fluttershy, get far away from here!" He yelled. "I need to go!" He could feel the planet shaking below him, as he ran out the front door, and took off towards the direction of the immense power level.

Back in Canterlot, ponies screamed in fear, yelling "earthquake!", "Get to the shelters", and so on. Little did they know, it was Nightmare Moon in the castle nearby.

Twilight attempted to stand up, but was knocked back down instantly. "Stay down Twilight!" Celestia pleaded. Nightmare Moon continued to power up as lightning now struck the castle. A beam of dark blue light suddenly pierced the ceiling from the sky above, surrounding Nightmare Moon in it.

In that moment, the shaking, the wind, and the terror halted. The beam of light from the sky vanished, and Nightmare Moon lowered herself to the ground. Electricity was flowing all around her now, as she opened her eyes. Her mane was now a burning blue fire, along with her tail.

"L...Luna?" Celestia called out. Nightmare Moon moved her eyes to her, and stared.

"Thank you, sister. Thank you all. With this power, Tirek will stand no chance."

"He'll know we are here now. You need to go, now!" Cadence said. Nightmare did not respond. She only spread her wings and shot up into the air through the hole created by her powering up.

"Good luck, Luna!" Twilight spoke. "Equestria is in your hooves now."

Discord shivered as a shiver went up his spine as he watched Tirek continue to absorb the ponies. "That can't be right?" He said quietly to himself.

"What can't be right?" Tirek turned to him. As Tirek walked towards Discord, the sky suddenly turned black. "What the?" The pair looked up toward the sun, only to find it had been blocked by the moon. "What happened. Discord, explain this immediately!"

"I-I don't know. I don't think I've ever seen such a phenomenon before." Discord scratched his chin and held a magnifying glass up to his eye, staring at the eclipse. Not much time passed before the moon was lowered once again, and the sun came back out. "That must have been Princess Luna. She controls the moon after all."

"Ah yes...the alicorns. Once I gain enough strength, I'll go after them! With the power of the alicorns, I will be unstoppable!" Tirek laughed loudly as the ponies around him lied limp on the ground, too weak to get up.

"I think you mean we will be unstoppable." Discord scowled at Tirek.

"Why of course Discord. How could I have gotten this far without you. In fact, take this." Tirek handed Discord an amulet for him to wear. "As a symbol of my gratitude, and a thank you for your help, I want you to have this. It was given to me by somebody close." Discord placed it around his neck.

"Ooo, I do quite like it. Thank you my good sir." Discord bowed "I think it's time we start hitting the big cities, don't you think? Enough of these towns and villages."

"I was thinking the same thing. Question is, where do we go first?" Tirek asked. Discord looked behind him in the distance, toward Canterlot.

"I think I know just the place. You want alicorn magic, Canterlot will be the place to find it." Discord brought a map to Tirek's attention with Canterlot circled.

"Yes...It is time. To Canterlot!"

As Tirek turned toward the great city, the ground suddenly began to tremble. The tremble then turned to shaking, as a strong wind was now blowing toward them from Canterlot.

"What's going on? First the moon and now this!" Tirek shielded his face from the strong winds. The two looked ahead toward Canterlot, and saw a blue light coming from the great city far in the distance. As the light faded, the wind, and the shaking ceased as well.

Discord's eyes widened, as Tirek looked on in anger. "What the hell happened over there?" Tirek asked.

"I'm not sure...but I do have a bad feeling about this."

"You think that was the power of the princesses?"

"I've never seen their power do such a thing like that, but it was coming from Canterlot. I can't say for sure." Discord explained. "Whatever it is, it seems to have subsided for now. Let us continue!" Discord marched forward toward Canterlot.

"Not another step, Discord!"

A powerful voice called out. Discord stopped in his tracks with Tirek behind him, looking up into the sky. Discord followed his eyes and saw a black alicorn with a burning blue mane flying at incredible speed towards them.

The alicorn landed on the ground heavily, immediately putting a crater into the ground below her. "Stand aside Discord, immediately!"

"And who are you?" Tirek moved Discord out of the way himself, and stepped forward with a smile on his face. "An alicorn? Perfect." He put his hands together, "I'll enjoy absorbing your power for myself!"

"Not today! For I, Nightmare Moon, have come to defeat you, Tirek!" Nightmare Moon suddenly bolted from the crater in which she stood, and charged Tirek with fierce speed. Tirek's eyes widened as a sharp pain erupted through his chest. He looked down, and saw Nightmare Moon's hoof buried into it. She jumped back, and took off into the air.

"Aghh!" Tirek dropped to one knee, and held his chest that was already bruising from the heavy blow. Nightmare Moon swung around from the side, and gave Tirek a nasty kick to the jaw, knocking him completely over.

"Give up!" Nightmare said, landing between Tirek and Discord. Tirek picked himself up, and wiped the dirt off his face.

"Don't think you can win so easily, mare!" Tirek formed an orange and red ball of magic between his horns, turned, and blasted it towards Nightmare Moon. Without a second thought she dodged, and left Discord in the path of the attack. Discord gasped and split himself into two, allowing the magic to pass through him.

Tirek, now back on his feet, opened his mouth, and with a blood curdling yell, blasted magic out of it toward Nightmare. The attack followed her through the air as she weaved and bobbed, trying to shake it. She spun around, and with her own magic, blasted Tirek's attack from the air with ease. She then blasted a massive blue and purple attack toward the ground where Tirek stood.

In fight or flight response, Tirek crossed his arms and covered his face as the vicious attack struck him. The ground beneath him was blown away as the attack exploded, sending dirt and debris everywhere. Clouds of dirt and dust surrounded the battlefield now as Nightmare slowly lowered herself to the ground. With a strong flap of her wings, the dust and dirt was blown away, revealing Tirek lying on his back at the bottom of a crater.

"Surrender yourself, Tirek, and perhaps I won't have to kill you!" Nightmare threatened as she pointed her horn toward him, with magic now charging up around it. Tirek propped himself up as blood dripped from his nose and lips.

"How...How can any of you ponies be this strong?" Tirek thought. Nightmare locked eyes with him, and stared deep into his soul.

"I can see your fear Tirek. You know you can't win!" Tirek's eyes widened in realization. The moon earlier, followed by the sudden earthquake.

"So that's what happened..." He said, getting back on his hooves once again, "The moon earlier, that was you. And the wild weather that came out of no where."

"What of it, beast."

"Your fellow princesses gave you their power, didn't they?"

"It matters not, for my strength far exceeds my own understanding." Nightmare explained, "You could absorb the power of a hundred more ponies, and I would still be in a class of my own!" Nightmare laughed evilly, showing her sharp teeth. Tirek, jumped back, and out of the crater, landing near Discord.

"I may not be able to defeat you absorbing ponies..." He said. Discord suddenly became paralyzed as Tirek used his magic to grab him, "No...If I wish to defeat you I need the power of a god!" Suddenly, he turned towards Discord, and opened his mouth, inhaling devilishly.

Nightmare Moon gasped as she watched Discord's chaotic magic become part of Tirek. "So that's your move." she said. Tirek finished absorbing Discord's magic, and threw him aside like garbage. He landed heavily and winced.

"I...I thought we were working together." He said weakly.

"Come on Discord..." Tirek said, as he began to glow an evil aura, "Did you really not see this coming?"

"I didn't...I really didn't."

Tirek shouted loudly and the ground began to tremble as he did so as chaotic black and purple aura erupted around him. "Witness, the power. Of. TIREK!" He clenched his fists and flexed his arms as he powered up with a maniacal laugh.

Nightmare stood her ground, as she released more of her power. "Don't think you'll beat me because of a little power up, Tirek!" She raised her power further, now releasing it fully. "This, is my full power!" Her horn glowed, and the moon was raised once again, blocking the sun. "With moon blocking the sun high in the sky, the night shall fuel all my rage!" She yelled. "Hahahahah!"

Tirek and Nightmare charged at each other, each of them throwing a right punch. Her hoof reached Tirek's fist, and cancelled each other's attack out, sending a massive shockwave through the air. The two locked eyes and glared at each other with realization that the real fight is just beginning.

The battle for Equestria had begun as Goku arrived in Canterlot. Below, citizens of the great royal city were running in panic, eager to find a place to seek refuge from the battle a few miles away. Goku focused hard, searching for the signs of Twilight's life force.

"It's faint...but I can feel it coming from the castle, with two other weak energies." He quickly flew down, and dove into the broken ceiling of the main hall. There, Twilight, and two other alicorns sat by a throne. Goku looked around him at the windows that had been blown away, along with the hole in the ceiling from which he came in.

"What in King Kai's name happened here?" He said aloud, gaining the attention of the three princesses, who seemingly dozed off from exhaustion.

"Goku..." Twilight said. "What are you doing here?"

"I felt an incredible power from Ponyville and had to come see what was going on. What happened here?" Goku asked.

"A magic stealing centaur named Tirek broke free from imprisonment and is laying waste to our land, and people." Celestia explained.

"That doesn't sound good. Did he do this?"

"No." Twilight replied

"Hm...I don't believe we've met before." Goku said as he gave Cadence and Celestia a glance. "My name is Goku!"

"Goku...Twilight has mentioned you in her letters. It is with great pleasure to meet you." Celestia spoke, reaching a hoof out. Even in the crosshairs of destruction, Celestia's composure remained solid and incredibly formal. Goku shook her hoof with a smile. "I am Princess Celestia. May I introduce you to Princess Cadence, of the Crystal Empire."

"Nice to meet you both. So, what did happen here exactly?" Goku asked. Celestia and Cadence looked at Twilight, gesturing for her to explain. Goku's attention also shifted to her.

"Well...an ally of ours betrayed us, and joined Tirek. Tirek, being somebody who gains his power through absorbing magic, wanted our magic. Alicorn magic! The magic of four alicorns would have given him enough power to wipe out Equestria's existence."

"This guy is that strong??" Goku rubbed his head. "Also, there's only three of you here and you said four alicorns."

"Yes...we all gave our magic to my sister, Princess Luna. She was confident in the form of Nightmare Moon, an old foe, that she could defeat Tirek with the combined powers of our magic."

"That must have been what I felt when I woke up!" Goku clenched his fist with a smile. "Did her power up do this? Incredible!"

"Yes. She is in combat with Tirek as we speak." Celestia looked out towards the now open window frames. Goku walked over to one, and looked upon the land. Closing his eyes, Goku focused and searched for the battle.

"I can feel it." He said aloud, "One is weaker than the other, but not by much. I can't tell who is who though. There's a third one too, but his isn't nearly as high."

"Discord..." Celestia added. Goku continued to feel the battle out. Minutes passed in silence as he watched. Suddenly, Goku felt one of the power levels increase.

"Hm..."

"What is it?" Twilight asked.

"The weaker power level just shot above the other one, making that one stronger." He said, "And now I can only feel two of them. The third one vanished!" Goku opened his eyes. "I think that Tirek guy just absorbed somebody, and it made him stronger!"

The three alicorns gasped and looked at each other. "Tirek has resorted to stealing Discords magic of chaos. This is not good." Celestia spoke.

"Hang on a minute, the other one just shot up too. They feel like they're evenly matched now."

"Could it be that Luna was holding back her power up until now?" Cadence suggested.

"That's exactly right." Goku said, "She's most likely fighting at full strength now." He climbed up and stood in the window frame. "Shouldn't we go help her?" Goku asked, looking back at the three. They stared at each other in defeat.

"Luna has our magic. Without it, we are powerless to do anything." Twilight explained, "All we can really do is sit here and either wait for Luna to return, or for Tirek to come lock us away in tartarus."

"Alright then...Are you three going to be okay here?" Goku asked.

"Yes. If you plan on joining the battle, now is the time seeing as we haven't got much of it left." Celestia replied.

"Right...well, wish me luck, Twilight." Goku put his hand up and waved. "It was great meeting you two!"

Goku jumped out of the window frame, and flew toward the battle.

Tirek landed on the ground heavily as dust and debris was kicked up. Not far from him, Nightmare Moon also landed and tumbled on the ground. Nightmare, being smaller and more agile, quickly got back on her hooves, and dashed towards Tirek, who swung his hind leg out to counter. Nightmare jumped and backflipped over his leg, bringing her hind leg out in the process. Her hoof struck Tirek's chest with great force, sending him sliding back.

Tirek used the momentum from the kick, and rolled on his hooves again, and fired a massive magic blast from his mouth. Nightmare, caught off guard, was hit by the fierce attack, and sent sky high. Before Tirek could pull a follow up attack, she spread her wings and came to a controlled landing.

The two stared at each other, panting. "I'll at least acknowledge your great power." Tirek said, "Too bad you could only achieve it through the help of your fellow princesses."

"You're one to talk, Tirek. All of your power reigns from the powers of my subjects, and my land!" Nightmare hissed. "Besides, it's quality, not quantity. By my hoof you will fall to your knees and beg for mercy!"

Tirek replied with another blast. Nightmare quickly charged, and fired back, stopping his attack in its tracks. The two struggled as their own attacks canceled the other out, forcing them into a battle of stamina. The two blasts mixed colorfully as magic frayed and shot out from the mix, destroying anything it touched. The ground beneath them shook, and cracked as rocks began to float upwards.

Finally, the two let off, and dashed toward each other, trading blow after blow. The two were equally matched, and could land a deciding blow. Nightmare, growing tired of the stalemate, looked for advantages to abuse.

Using her smaller size and speed advantage, she quickly flew underneath Tirek, and thrusted her horn up, impaling his thick hide with ease. Tirek groaned in agonizing pain as blood dripped from the new wound. In response, he threw himself on the ground, nearly crushing Nightmare Moon underneath him.

"Agh!" She cried.

"Silly ponies. Always using your dirty trickery!" Tirek picked up Nightmare Moon, raising her high as his arm would allow, and threw her straight down as hard as he could. He then used his magic to heal the wound her horn had inflicted. "You should really learn to pick your fights more wisely!"

Nightmare Moon cried in pain as he brought a rain of punches down on her. Blood poured from her open mouth and nose as Tirek picked her up with his magic. Her limp conscious body stared at him with angry eyes.

"What happened to all that power? A couple hard hits and suddenly you're down for the count." Tirek laughed, "Not that I'm complaining...now you're magic, and all the alicorn magic will be mine!"

"Where are we going Fluttershy?!" Applejack asked frantically as they ran through the Everfree Forest. Fluttershy gathered Pinkie, Rarity, Rainbow, and Applejack after Goku had left, ignoring his order to get far away.

"Just follow me!" She said quietly. The group now arrived at the chasm that lied between them and the Castle of the Two Sisters. It finally dawned on them what Fluttershy was up to.

"We have to get to the Tree of Harmony. There has to be a way we can use the elements!" Fluttershy said as she climbed the stairs that led down to the tree.

"But without Twilight, or the last key, we can't get that box open!" Applejack replied.

"We have to try!"

"Look, I'll go get Twilight. You guys stay here, and for the love of Celestia, please don't die." Rainbow said. With a rainbow trail behind her, she raced towards Canterlot in the distance.

"But Rainbow-" Applejack stopped and realized it was hopeless to reason with her at a time like this. "Let's hope she doesn't end up dead either."

The group followed Fluttershy down, and stopped at the tree. The box stood with all keys, except one in it. As long as that box remained closed, Equestria was doomed.

Save Nightmare Moon! Goku Arrives.

"What happened to all that power? A couple hard hits and suddenly you're down for the count." Tirek laughed as he held nightmare moon in the air, "Not that I'm complaining...now you're magic, and all the alicorn magic will be mine!" Nightmare Moon was limp, blood pouring from her nose and a cut on her cheek. She winced and closed her eyes as Tirek opened his mouth, creating a devilish hissing sound as a ball of magic grew between his horns. Magic began seeping out of her and towards Tirek.

"N-No!" She said weakly as she began to struggle in his grip, wiggling back and forth in an attempt to free herself, but to no avail.

"TIREK!" A voice now yelled from behind Tirek. He stopped his absorption of Nightmare's Magic, and looked over his shoulder. "HAH!" Suddenly, a creature came flying from the sky at incredible speed, kicking Tirek's clenched fist which held the seemingly lifeless body of Nightmare Moon.

She flew some twenty yards before landing on the ground with a thud, and lied with her eyes closed as she trembled trying to move. One of her eyes managed to open to catch a blurred glimpse of Goku kneeling next to her. "Stay down." He said, "I'll handle this from here on out..."

"How dare you!" Tirek now yelled from behind Goku, "You dare interfere with our battle. I will crush you!" Goku turned towards him and stared with an angry scowl.

"I take it you're Tirek." He said.

"That's Lord Tirek to you! Out of my way this instant!"

"You want her magic so badly? You're just going to have to go through me!" Goku slammed his fast against his other open palm, which sent a small shockwave through the air. Tirek's eyes widened with a smile.

"Yet another challenger...What makes you think you possibly stand a chance against me? I should suck you of your power dry right now just like I did to everyone else!"

"I'd like to see you try!" Goku said. Tirek gave no response, and picked Goku up with his magic, "Whoa! Hey put me down!"

"You said you wanted to see me try." Tirek laughed, "Relax and it will be over quickly." He opened his mouth, and began his absorption technique. A solid five seconds of it, and nothing changed. Nothing was drawn out of Goku.

"What the?" Tirek said aloud, "Where is your magic?"

"Funny you should ask...These ponies might draw their power from magic more than ki...But that's not how I roll." Goku smiled. "HA!" He yelled, and drew out his power, blowing Tirek's magical grip away instantly.

"You can't absorb my energy, Tirek. So, do you accept my challenge, or am I just going to have to put you down?"

"It seems I don't have a choice...let's go then, you hairless ape."

"I hope you're ready. You've hurt these ponies, ravaged their land, and destroyed their homes. I will issue you one final warning Tirek. Return all the stolen magic, and leave forever, and I will spare your life." Goku stared intensely as Tirek kept his eyes locked with his. He made no effort to respond with words, and leapt forward toward Goku with his fist swinging toward him..."You got it!"

Goku backflipped out of the path of Tirek's swing, and jumped into the air. His fists clenched as he released his power, and his aura erupted out of him. 'I can only use half my power for now...my body is still recovering from the fight with Frieza, but it should still be enough.' He thought to himself, raising his power to half strength. The ground heaved and the wind blew rocks and dirt across the ground. Tirek shielded his eyes from the flying debris as Goku powered up.

"That should do it..." He said aloud as he stopped. Tirek growled and stared at him. "Here I come!"

Goku lept toward Tirek with incredible speed, and landed a right hook on Tirek's cheek before he could even react. Tirek threw a right back, but Goku was suddenly gone. His fist swung through the empty air where Goku was just a mere second ago. "HAH!" Goku yelled as he swung around and kicked Tirek in the back of the neck, sending him flying forward into the ground, planting his muzzle into the dirt.

Goku landed on his feet with his back facing Tirek as he picked himself up. "You're strong...stronger than Nightmare Moon. It's a shame I can't absorb your power." Tirek said, "However, it is unwise to put your back to me!" Tirek quickly launched a magic blast toward Goku.

Goku turned around, and stuck his open palm out. The blast was quickly halted as Goku easily overpowered it. "What?!" Tirek's eyes widened. He growled as Goku held the magic in front of him.

"Ha!" With a punch, Goku launched the projectile back toward Tirek. Tirek opened his mouth, and absorbed the magic back into himself.

"I'm afraid using my own magic attacks won't work on me, worthless insect."

"Really? Then how about some of my own attacks?" Goku smiled with a confident look as he extended his arm out, pointing his palm at Tirek. A yellow ki ball flickered and grew in front of his hand, quickly growing to the size of basketball. Goku launched it toward Tirek, who fired another magic blast in return, canceling the ki ball out, and detonating it between them.

"Are you done playing around yet?" Goku asked aloud. "Stop hiding your power already!"

"Fine...but you asked for it." Tirek replied. Using his magic, Tirek uprooted several trees nearby, and threw them toward Goku. Goku jumped into the air as they all came crashing into each other.

"Whoa!" He said, looking down at the mess of branches and wood that nearly crushed him. "Huh?" When he looked up, Tirek was inches away in the air with him. With a left jab, Tirek landed a blow on Goku that sent him barreling towards the ground. Goku caught himself before he hit the ground, and backflipped to a safe landing.

Without a second thought, he jumped back at Tirek feet first, quickly closing the distance. CRASH Goku's kick landed on Tirek's jaw, again, too quick for Tirek to react. Goku flipped around, and swung a right, then a left, and two more right hooks, landing all of them successfully! Finally, to finish the combo, he brought his fists together above his head, and swung down on the top of Tireks head, sending him crashing down. The ground shook as Tirek landed...

The ground shook, knocking Fluttershy off her hooves as they stood near the Tree of Harmony. "Whoa!" Applejack said aloud, regaining her balance as the ground heaved.

"Goodness, darling are you alright?" Rarity ran to Fluttershy, lending her a hoof.

"Yes...I'm fine, thank you." She said as she took Rarity's hoof. She stood back up as the ground shook again, but not as much as before.

"Hey girls!" Yelled a voice from above. It was Rainbow. "I found Twilight!" She was flying slowly, with a flightless Twilight in her hooves. She landed as softly as she could with Twilight in her hooves, who's eyes were barely open.

"Twilight!" Applejack ran over to help, "What's wrong, can you stand?" She asked frantically.

"Yes...I can stand, barely." Twilight replied, standing up on her own hooves. "Thanks for the ride dash."

"Where'd your cutie mark go Twilight?" Pinkie asked, staring at her flank.

"It's gone...along with my magic. The princesses and I gave our magic to Princess Luna."

"Luna?!" The rest of the girls exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Yes...somehow, she was able to transform and control Nightmare Moon at will. With our combined powers, she went to fight Tirek. Now Goku has joined the fight, but I'm not sure how things are doing."

"I saw them fighting over there on the way back!" Rainbow pointed in the direction of the fighting as the ground heaved once again, nearly knocking everyone off their hooves. "We have to go help!"

"No Rainbow, stay here! We can't risk getting our magic, flight, and strength taken away!" Applejack struck the ground with her hoof.

"Well we can't just stand here! We don't have all the keys to the box, and we're not going to find the last one just standing here!" Rainbow then took off toward the battle at her own leisure.

"Darn it Rainbow!" Applejack ran off after her. "You all stay here and look after Twilight!" Applejack ran up the stairs after Rainbow as Rarity and Pinkie Pie tended to Twilight.

"Fluttershy, aren't you coming?" Pinkie asked. Fluttershy did not respond. She only spread her wings, and took flight after them.

"Where are you going?!" Twilight asked.

"I have to look for Discord!" Fluttershy said.

"He betrayed us Fluttershy...He is the reason Tirek got so strong so quickly!"

"I don't care...I have to find him." Fluttershy ignored Twilight's plea and continued on toward the battle. She scanned through the forest looking for any signs of life.

"Wait!" She heard behind her. Fluttershy turned to see Twilight, Pinkie, and Rarity running behind her. Fluttershy landed on the ground to meet them. "You can't do this alone. Magic or not, we need to stick together!" Twilight said. Fluttershy smiled and nodded, once again taking flight.

The three searched as AJ ran after Rainbow in the distance. As they neared the battle, Rainbow realized the ferocity of their strength, and flew into a cloud to hide. Using it for camouflage, she flew over the battle from high up, and observed. Below, she could see Applejack covering herself in dirt and mud for her own camouflage.

Back in the forest, Fluttershy split off from Rarity, Pinkie, and Twilight, still looking for the draconequus. She walked quietly, hearing the shouts and booms of the battle not far off. Her ear twitched as the sound of rustling bushes caught her attention nearby.

"Um..hello?" She called, "Discord?" She crept over to investigate. Behind the thicket, she found what she had been searching for. "GIRLS!" She called.

Quickly, the other three were on the scene, where Discord lied nearly unconscious in a ditch. "Discord!" Fluttershy ran to his side, picking up his head. "Hey, Discord!" She called again. His eyes opened weakly as he stared at Fluttershy.

"F-Fluttershy?" He said.

"I'm here. Discord...What happened?" She asked.

"You should be ashamed, Discord. Equestria might fall because of you!" Twilight scolded. Discord ignored her and only spoke to Fluttershy.

"I had no idea...I'm terribly sorry Fluttershy." He spoke. "I thought I could have something I didn't have...when I was foolishly blinded by somebody I used to be. It cost me the one thing I did have. Friends..." Fluttershy did not respond, and only hugged him.

"You didn't lose me as a friend...we all make mistakes."

Discord turned to Twilight, and removed the necklace Tirek had given him. "Tirek tricked me into believing that he could offer something more valuable than friendship..." He held it out to Twilight, "But there is nothing worth more. I see that now. He lied when he said that this medallion was given as a sign of gratitude and loyalty." Twilight took the medallion from him, and stared at it. "But when I say it is a sign of our true friendship...I am telling the truth."

"Even though you betrayed us Discord...I know we all need to band together to defeat Tirek." Twilight put the medallion over her neck, and reached out to Discord to help him up. Discord smiled, and took her hoof.

"Thank you, Twilight."

As Twilight inspected the medallion, she saw a rainbow shimmer reflect across it. Her eyes widened in realization. "The last key...This has to be it!" She said. "Girls, find Rainbow and Applejack, we have to get back to the tree and give it a shot!"

"Right away!" Fluttershy took off, and searched, heading toward the battle.

Tirek landed heavily as Goku stood away from him with barely a scratch on him. "Give up, Tirek. You're no match for me, and you're running out of options!"

Tirek struggled as he picked himself up once again. His face and body now bruised and bleeding, he thought to himself.,'If only I could get the that damned Alicorn. With her magic I would have no equal.' Nightmare Moon still lied unconscious behind Goku.

"Goku!" A voice yelled from the forest nearby. Both Goku and Tirek looked to see a yellow mare with a pink mane standing there in shock. She covered her mouth with her hoof, and stood there terrified.

"Fluttershy!?" Goku stared, shocked. "I told you to get far away from here, what are you doing?!"

"There's my opening..." Tirek said quietly to himself with an evil grin. Suddenly, a massive ball of fiery magic grew between his horns. Lightning and electricity flowed around it as it grew larger and larger. Tirek quickly fired it directly toward Fluttershy with no restraint.

Fluttershy winced and trembled, too scared to move. "Get out of the way Fluttershy!" Goku yelled. "Fluttershy!" 'Oh no!' He kept quickly toward her. Fluttershy ducked and covered herself, tears now running from her eyes as she screamed. "NO!"

She looked up just in time to see Goku diving in front of her. The blast struck Goku and detonated. Fluttershy could hear Goku's scream of pain as the explosion sent her flying back into a tree.

"Agh!" She winced in pain as she hit the trunk of a tree, and landed on the ground. Debris and dust flew toward her as the ground heaved. The dust quickly cleared, and Fluttershy looked to see Goku standing there before her vision seemingly vanished. Now bruised, clothes torn up, and bleeding from a new wound on his shoulder, Goku looked around for Fluttershy.

"Dirty bastard!" He said aloud. He turned to see Fluttershy lying on her side, now unconscious. He gasped, and ran over to her aide. "Fluttershy!?" He picked up her head gently.

"Oh no, Fluttershy!" Two new voices called. One from within, the forest, and one from above. Two mares, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack, both came out from their hiding spots.

"Fools!" Tirek said aloud. He approached Nightmare Moon as she was coming to, and picked her up with her magic. He wasted no time, and quickly began to drain her of her alicorn magic.

"NO!" Goku said. "Damn it!" He realized it was too late.

"AHHH!" Nightmare Moon screamed in pain as she felt the power leave her. Tirek threw her across into the trees with full force, knocking her back out of commission.

The sky blackened. Clouds formed over head as lightning struck the ground around them. Tirek shouted and roared as his size grew once again. "AHHHAHHAHA! IT'S ALL MINE!" Black and red electricity sparked around him as the alicorn magic pooled in to his power.

Goku trembled, as he looked back at Fluttershy. She suddenly coughed, and blood came out of her open mouth. Rainbow and Applejack stared at Goku as he trembled, not of fear, but of anger.

"Get out of here." He said in a raspy voice, as if he was holding back the urge to shout. "Now! Take Fluttershy somewhere safe, and go!"

Suddenly, the other three were there on the scene, Rarity, Pinkie, and Twilight.

"Oh no...he's absorbed the alicorn magic." Twilight said.

"THERE'S NO TIME. GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" Goku stood up now, his arms shaking out of sheer anger. He turned towards Tirek, who laughed maniacally. "You...You bastard!" He yelled. "You hurt her. You made her BLEED!" Goku's hair was seemingly flowing upwards on its own. Lightning was still striking the ground around them, blowing apart anything it struck. Trees. Rocks. Buildings.

"We need to go, now!" Applejack said. Tirek realized the anger he had sparked in Goku, and was now fixated on him.

"Aw, what's wrong? Did I hurt your puny pony friends?" He said mockingly.

"You nearly killed her. You destroyed countless lives." Goku's head reared upwards as his hair now flickered yellow, and back to black. "AAAAAAAHHHHH!" He shouted.

The ground shook more than ever now, as lightning bolted down from the sky, and struck Goku. Trees now bent over nearly completely sideways as hurricane force winds now blew down houses. The girls stopped their retreat, and looked on as Goku's hair flared up.

A blinding yellow light made them shield their eyes as the Goku shouted again. "AAHHHHH!"

"What's happening!?" Rainbow Dash struggled to stay airborne as the wind pushed her back further and further, eventually knocking her out of the sky.

"TIREK!" Goku yelled, "I WILL MAKE YOU PAY!" The light began to retreat, and Goku could be seen again. A blazing fire like yellow aura now engulfed him, as the ground around him was nearly blown away. He now stood with golden hair, and an angry look in his eyes. Tirek finally pushed him over the edge, and brought out his real power. Through anger, awakened by fury and rage, Tirek awakened the super saiyan might of Goku!

Goku now stared at his opponent with his blood beyond its boiling point. Seeing Fluttershy nearly killed brought the images of Krillin in his head screaming his name before Frieza obliterated him. "GOK-". The same feeling erupted from deep within him as Frieza turned his attention toward his own son. In that moment, a power that hadn't been seen for over a thousand years reared its angry head, full of rage and might.

Now, Tirek had done the same. The centaur basked under the sun as he felt his own new power within him. Finally, the power of the alicorns was his. "Now then...Time to get rid of you trash!" He said aloud, turning his attention to Goku.

"Shut up. I'm through going easy on you for my body's sake." Goku replied.

"Hahaha! You think you stand a chance? With the alicorn magic under my control, I'm at least twice as powerful, maybe even three times as powerful as before! So what if you've changed your hair and gotten a wittle mad." He teased Goku and began walking toward him.

"What the-" Tirek stopped in his tracks as he realized Goku was right in front of his face, floating, staring at him directly eye level. "When did you?"

Goku said nothing. He reached out quickly and grabbed Tirek's septum ring, and pulled it toward him. Tirek yelled in pain as Goku yanked on the nose ring.

"You're just like him. You're just like Frieza, and I will not rest until you are on your knees begging for mercy!" He pulled harder, and begun to draw blood from Tirek's nose.

"Agh...Stop it!" He pleaded. He drew a fist, and swung at Goku. His attack swept through the air, and struck nothing. Goku then reappeared in front of him, back on the ground. Tirek brought his hand up and held his snout tightly. "Dirty bastard! I'll get you for that!"

Tirek felt pain across his entire face as a right hook landed across his jaw, knocking him back and on to the ground. A couple teeth landed on the ground next to him as more blood was drawn. "Damn it!" Tirek yelled in pain. He turned toward Goku, who was now standing next to him as he lied on the ground.

"I hope you realize I could obliterate you, and this entire planet if I wanted to right now." Goku said, "What happened to all that magic that supposedly doubled your power, Tirek?"

"Magic? I'll show you magic!" Tirek, still laying on the ground, opened his mouth, and fired a massive blast directly at Goku at point blank range. It seemingly devoured the saiyan, and continued on a destructive path behind him, eventually hitting a nearby building and vaporizing it in its entirety.

Wind quickly blew the smoke and dust away, to reveal Goku was no longer there. Tirek smiled, and climbed back to his hooves. "If I knew it was gonna be that easy, I would've started with that." He said aloud.

"Too bad it wasn't."

Tirek looked up above him to find Goku floating there without a single scratch on him. "How? I have the magic of the princesses! I should be unstoppable!"

"So you've doubled your power. I have to say, I expected better coming from you. You've come this far and defeated everyone, and all that could do was double your power? Pathetic." Goku said.

"And what makes you so special?"

"Well, Tirek." Goku smiled, "To be honest I'm just beginning to figure that out on my own. This is only the second time I've been able to achieve this form after all." Goku vanished and reappeared in front of Tirek again, making him take a step back in shock. "But I'll let you in on a little secret. Your power up doubled your strength and speed...well this is Super Saiyan. Let's just say it gives me a boost up to fifty times what I'm capable of in my normal state."

Tirek's eyes widened as he immediately began to tremble. He stepped back again and began to stutter out of fear. "How can anybody be that strong. That's absurd. You're bluffing!" He pointed at Goku. "I'll destroy you no matter what! I swear it!"

"We'll see..."

Meanwhile, Applejack ran as fast as she could after the rest of her friends with Fluttershy on her back. Soon, they returned to the tree of harmony, and approached the box. Applejack gently put Fluttershy on the ground, who was still out cold. The bleeding slowed, but still bled none the less.

"Is she going to be okay?" Rainbow asked.

"I don't know...I would try a healing spell, but I've never dealt with something this bad before." Twilight explained. Her horn lit up as she used an x-ray spell to asses Fluttershy's injury. Her heart dropped as she gasped. "This is not good. The impact shattered a couple vertebrae and she's internally bleeding. There's nothing I can do!"

"Twilight. Please tell me you're fibbin'. For Celestia sake please tell me she's not going to..." Applejack frantically paused in a panic.

"She can't." Rainbow's eyes quickly filled with tears, "She's not going to die. I won't let her." She knelt by Fluttershy and held her bruised head. "Come on, Fluttershy, wake up! You have to wake up!"

Rarity covered her muzzle, unable to speak as tears now flowed from her eyes as well. Applejack held back tears as she removed her hat and placed it over her heart. All seemed hopeless as they stood around her, unsure of what to do.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let her go out there! She walked right past me and I did nothin'!" Applejack stomped her hooves on the ground, throwing her hat in the process. Rainbow quickly ran to her and held her.

"Stop it. This is nopony's fault AJ." Rainbow's voice trembled with vibrato her lips quivered. Behind them, Twilight stared at Fluttershy.

"Girls..." She said. AJ and Rainbow turned back toward Fluttershy, who was now glowing light blue.

"What's going on?" Pinkie said aloud.

"Fluttershy?" Rainbow called to her. The blue aura seemed to hold Fluttershy softly, like a mare holding her filly. Rainbow looked past her, and to the tree. "Wait...look at the tree!"

Rainbow directed their attention to the Tree of Harmony, which now glowed the same blue that surrounded Fluttershy. Twilight gasped as they all realized what was happening.

"What's it doing?" Rarity asked.

"I don't know, but I think it knows how bad she is. As the element of kindness, I think the tree senses her pain as if Fluttershy was one of its own."

Twilight finished as the element of kindness within the tree began to glow pink. Suddenly, a pink beam of magic flared out from the tree, and struck Fluttershy. The girls watched in awe as the bruises faded away, and the blood disappeared. In seconds, what ever the tree was doing was finished, and the lights vanished. Fluttershy's eyes flickered open.

The girls gasped and nearly crushed her immediately as they all took her into their hooves. "We thought you were a goner!" Rainbow said, still in tears.

"Um...girls, you're crushing me a little!" She said, unable to breathe. The girls released their grip, allowing her to draw a deep breath. "What happened to me?" Fluttershy asked.

"We were sure we lost you there for a second...Like a fool, I let you walk out into the open." Applejack explained, "Tirek used you as bait to distract Goku. He nearly killed you."

"What?!" Fluttershy's eyes widened, "Oh my goodness, is Goku ok?"

"Yea. He's different now though!" Rainbow began, "He jumped in front of the blast so you wouldn't take the full force, and survived. Then, after seeing what it did to you, it was like he exploded!"

"Exploded? Look, if he's ok, that's all I needed to know." Fluttershy interrupted them, and turned to Twilight, "I know what we have to do."

"You do?" The girls said, in unison.

"Yes. The tree...it spoke to me." Fluttershy walked towards the tree, "I could hear its voice. Simply defeating Tirek with brute force will not fix what he has done. Only the elements can restore the magic he stole to the ponies of Equestria."

"But we can't get to the elements. That box thing is still closed, we can't find the last key!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"Wait!" Twilight said, "Discord said Tirek gave this to him as a sign of trust and loyalty, but he lied." She held up the medallion given to her earlier, "He gave it to me, and I have a feeling this might be it!"

"Well, what are you waitin' for! We got nothin' to lose!" Applejack said, running to the box. The rest of the girls followed close behind, and watched as Twilight held the medallion to the box. In a flash, the box held the medallion as it begun spinning wildly. Before they could realize what was going on, the spinning stopped, and all that was left was a key. The last key.

"This is it. Isn't it?" Rarity said.

"Yes." Twilight pushed the key in, "We have to do this together. On three!" The elements placed a hoof on their respective key, and waited. "One. Two." Twilight said, "Three!"

All keys were turned simultaneously, and the now glowing box opened up. A rainbow formed, and ended at the center of the tree where the Element of Magic was held. The rainbow then spread to the rest, activating each one as the tree now glowed.

"Whoa!"

Goku continued to toy with Tirek while the girls made their escape. He wasn't sure what they were up to, but he knew he couldn't just dispose of Tirek while he still had all the magic within him.

"I'll give you one last warning, Tirek." Goku began as he caught Tirek's fist flying toward him. "Return the magic you stole, or suffer!"

"Never! This land will rightfully be mine, and I will stop at nothing to get what I want!"

"Then I guess I've got no choice." Goku took a step back, and took the signature Kame style fighting stance. Tirek, fists balled in rage, scowled angry as his teeth ground together. Dark magical aura seeped out of him as his muscles tensed up.

"What's this?" Goku asked, "Found a little more strength somewhere in there?"

Between Tirek's horns, magic began to gather forming a multicolored ball. It raised up into the air as Tirek pooled more magic into it, making it grow bigger and bigger. Goku's eyes widened in horror. 'He's pooling everything he's got into one desperate attack. If that gets any stronger, it'll be enough to destroy the planet!'

Goku watched as it grew and grew. He had to act now, or it just might be the end. "Let's see you handle this! If you're so confident in your power, stay right where you are and take it!" Tirek challenged him; However, Goku knew it was a trap.

Goku straightened him stance, and pointed a finger a Tirek. Just before Tirek launched the attack, he noticed Goku's finger pointing at his chest. In his curiosity, he stared at Goku for a second instead of throwing his attack.

A yellow beam quickly fired from the tip of Goku's finger, and pierced Tirek's chest cavity with ease. Tirek's pupils shrunk as his strength suddenly left him. The magic in the air above him began to shrink, being absorbed back into his body. He brought his hands to his chest and held the now bleeding wound as he collapsed to one knee.

Blood covered Tirek's hand as he looked as his wound, and back at Goku. "What are you?" He said, coughing up blood.

"I am the strongest warrior in the universe. That's who I am, Tirek." Goku replied. "You didn't leave me much of a choice but to nearly kill you just now. That attack you managed to come up with was enough to destroy the planet."

Goku powered down from Super Saiyan, letting his hair fall and return to its natural jet black color. As soon as Tirek saw this, his hand holding his chest wound glowed with magic. The wound quickly closed and the blood dried. Goku's eyes widened.

"You fell for it!" Tirek immediately fired a blast directly at Goku at point blank range. With lightning reactions, Goku crossed his arms in from of his chest and head. The blast made a direct hit, forcing him back making tracks in the dirt below. As soon as the blast subsided, Goku looked up at Tirek, who was now standing once again. The massive ball of magic was now back, and just as powerful as before.

"Oh no!" Goku yelled. Tirek wasted no time, and threw his arms towards Goku. The massive attack bore down toward the earth, with Goku right in the path.

Quickly, Goku became surrounded in Aura. He once again took a Kame style stance, but this time, both hands were cupped around each other as if he was holding a ball.

"KAAA!" He yelled, "MEEE!" Tirek laughed maniacally as a blue ki ball formed in Goku's hands, "HAAA! MEEE!" The ball grew larger, as Tirek's attack was nearing closer and closer. Without hesitation, Goku threw his hands forward toward the magic blast. "HAAAAAAA!"

Tirek watched as a massive blue wave of energy fired from Goku's hands, stopping Tirek's attack in it's tracks. Goku pushed as much as he could, unable to get the blast to move back. Slowly, it began moving toward the ground again.

"Come on!" Goku yelled, "Full power!" Again, his hair flared up, and Goku exploded into super saiyan for the second time of the battle. Now, the magic blast was being moved back with ease, and quickly sped up as it gained altitude. "HAAA!" With one last push, Goku sent it flying up out of the atmosphere into space. Tirek stood there in awe.

Goku stood there, out of breath, and exhausted. He put everything he could into that blast to save Equestria. His hair seemed to flicker for a moment, before the golden color evaporated, and his hair returned to normal. 'No more power...' Goku thought to himself.

"It seems even the greatest of warriors have their limits." Tirek said with a smile. "As I said before. I am unbeatable!" Another ball of magic formed between his horns. Again, the target was Goku.

"Hold it right there, Tirek!" A voice yelled out from behind him. Tirek turned, to see Twilight, and all her friends floating in the air, surrounded by magic. Tirek quickly changed his target to them, and fired a magic blast. Though it directly hit, it did nothing but vaporize around them.

"What the?" He said, "How is this possible? You should have no magic, I took everybody's!"

"You're wrong Tirek!" Twilight said, "You may have taken my magic through Nightmare Moon, but I carry within me the most powerful magic of all!"

The shining ball of magic surrounding the six mares now drew streaks of magic toward Tirek. The streaks came together and formed a rainbow, engulfing Tirek entirely. "Agh!" He yelled in agony as he felt the magic within him leaking out uncontrollably, and leaving him for good. His body shrunk quickly as he transformed smaller, eventually back down to his original powerless state.

Goku watched as the six mares rose high in the sky, and released a rainbow shockwave of magic. All six flied in different directions, seemingly chasing the rainbow as the magic was rightfully returned to the ponies of Equestria, including the princesses.

The miracle seemed to fade quickly as the box at the tree closed once again, and Twilight and her friends returned to normal. With that, the tree glowed brighter and brighter, shooting a rainbow across the way towards the other side of Ponyville in the distance. The girls watched as the chest followed the rainbow to the other side. It seeped into the ground, and the rainbow faded.

The ground, now trembling, glowed and sparkled with magic as it split, and cracked. Out from the ground below, came a crystal castle, which rose up quickly higher than any other building in Ponyville. Twilight, having her magic back, teleported all the girls to where the castle now stood.

"Sweet Celestia...are you all seeing what I'm seeing?" Rarity said aloud.

"But who's is it...and where's Goku, where's Tirek?" Twilight looked around.

"Quickly!" Rainbow said, "Follow me!"

The girls followed Rainbow, with Fluttershy and Twilight taking flight, while the others ran on hoof. In the matter of minutes, they arrived at the battlefield, where both Goku and Tirek lied.

"Goku!" Fluttershy yelled, running to his side. Goku turned his head toward her, and smiled.

"Hey Fluttershy!"

"Oh my goodness, are you ok?"

"Yea...I'm just having a rest. Going super saiyan really wears me out!" He laughed. The rest of the girls joined them, and stood around.

"I've been working on a healing spell recently, Goku. Now would be a good time to try it out!" Twilight lowered her horn toward Goku, and fired a purple beam of magic toward him. It hit him, and surrounded him with magic. He quickly felt it take effect, and stood up.

"Wow! That's awesome! Not quite effective as a senzu, but I feel better than I did before I fought Tirek!" Goku exclaimed, standing up and flexing his arms.

"Speaking of which, where is Tirek?" Applejack asked, looking around. On the other side of the battlefield, Tirek lied on his side unconscious. The girls and Goku made their way towards him as he came to, and picked himself up.

Fluttershy gasped in fear as he stood, "He's awake!" She quietly yelled. Tirek held his head, and rubbed his temples.

"How dare you all!" He said in his raspy voice. "You dare defy Lord Tirek!" He tried to from a ball of magic, but only managed to make the air around him spark. "What?" He said, "No. My magic!"

"That's enough out of you!" Goku was now standing in front of him, giving him a flick on the forehead.

"Ow!" Tirek rubbed his now bruised forehead. He opened his eyes to see two orange hooves flying toward him. His vision was blacked out once again as he was sent flying back from Applejacks buck.

"Hey, that's enough. I think he learned his lesson." Goku said. Tirek got up once again, this time with a blood nose and black eye. Behind them, a white alicorn landed alongside a pink one.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight said, "Cadence!" She hugged them both. "Where's Princess Luna?" She asked.

"Right here." Twilight looked to her left, and saw Nightmare Moon standing there.

"TWILIGHT!" Rainbow yelled. "IT'S NIGHTMARE MOON!" Rainbow flew toward Nightmare Moon as fast as she could with her hoof ready to strike. Goku quickly grabbed her tail and stopped her mid flight.

"Relax, Rainbow." Twilight said. They watched as Nightmare Moon's mane turned a softer blue, and her black fur coat returned to normal. "See, it's just Princess Luna."

"Forgive me, sister." Luna said, "We almost lost everything due to my mistake." She looked down at the ground in shame. Celestia quickly grabbed Luna and hugged her.

"Don't be so foolish. You did all you could. Not only that, but you've made me realize that I've got some catching up to do." Celestia smiled smugly

"What do you mean?" Luna asked.

"You think I'm just going to sit here knowing you're more powerful than me? Just you wait. If you can turn into Nightmare Moon, perhaps I have a form of my own."

"Will you all shut. up." Tirek said in a pouty tone. "Hurry up and throw me back into tartarus. I can't stand being around all this laughter and joy."

Goku laughed as Celestia put Tirek in chains. "Man, you really are like Frieza!"

"I have to commend you on your success, Goku." Princess Celestia turned to Goku, "Without you, I don't think we would have Tirek here back in chains."

"I'm not the only one. These girls came in with that weird rainbow attack as soon as I ran out of power! Not only did that defeat Tirek, but it also took back the magic."

"Enough chit chat!" Pinkie interrupted, "This calls for a celebration!"

As Celestia took Tirek away, Pinkie ran off to prepare for a party. The rest of the girls laughed with Goku as they followed her hoof steps toward Ponyville.

A Year Later. Thank you, Goku!

After defeating Tirek, and saving Equestria, a statue was raised in Ponyville in memory of his heroic duties. The gold plated statue stood tall, with Goku as a super saiyan. Nearly a year had gone by since that fateful day, and Goku knew his time to leave, was closer than ever.

Equestria's leading scientists, including Twilight, worked day and night to get Goku's new space pod working again. Meanwhile, Goku spent his free time exploring Equestria, making friends, and perfecting instant transmission. Every now and then, he would visit the royal castle to spar with Princess Luna, and Celestia.

Through their training together, Goku grew even stronger, and helped Celestia find her hidden power through a transformation much like Luna's ability to control Nightmare Moon. Celestia soon gained control of hers as well, named Daybreaker. Though, Goku was certainly no match for them, he did his best to help them sharpen their abilities, so that they may defend Equestria when the time comes.

The day of Goku's scheduled departure had finally arrived. The pegasi made sure to keep the weather calm for an easy and safe takeoff from the planet, keeping the winds low, and the clouds sparse. Thousands of ponies filled the streets of Canterlot as Goku, and his new friends made their way through the city toward the royal palace, where the repaired space pod was ready.

"I can't believe a year went by so quickly. I wonder how long it will take me to travel to Earth." Goku scratched his head.

"By my calculations, it shouldn't take you very long at all!" Twilight exclaimed.

"I wish I didn't have to go though. I really like it here. Everyone is so nice, and it's so much more peaceful than Earth."

"Aside from the whole Tirek thing that happened." Applejack reminded everyone of the events that took place not too long after Goku crash landed. "I'm still surprised how powerful he was, even with Goku on our side!"

"Well, to be completely honest I could have killed him if I really wanted to." Goku explained, "But with all the magic in his possession, I didn't know what would happen to it. I didn't want to risk losing it all, you know?"

"Could you imagine this place without magic? This place would be chaos!" Rainbow exclaimed. Behind her, Discord appeared out of thin air.

"Did somebody say chaos?" He pulled all the girls into a group hug.

"Not you, knucklehead!" Rainbow replied, wiggling free of his hug. "Don't think you're off the hook just yet for what you did!"

"Oh but I already paid my debts, Rainbow. Remember?" Discord laughed, "My community service is done! I am a free man once more!" He said, putting on a pair of shades.

"What's a man?" Pinkie asked.

"I am!" Goku replied. The girls laughed as they approached the entrance of the royal castle walls. The guards opened the gates, allowing them through. Behind the castle walls, lied a the great royal garden, where Goku's pod awaited in the clearing.

Princess Celestia stood alongside Luna and Cadence, along with a young stallion holding a camera. Goku looked over at Fluttershy and noticed she was shedding a tear.

"Hey, what's with the waterworks, Fluttershy?" He knelt down.

"I'm just sad you have to go. You've been a great friend to us all! And just to think you'll be so far away."

"Come now darling. It's not like he won't ever visit us again." Rarity put her hoof around Fluttershy, "You will come and visit us again, won't you?"

"Of course! I won't ever forget about you girls." Goku spread his arms and brought in everyone for a hug, "Thank you all so much for taking care of me and helping me get better. I can't thank you enough. Without any of you, I probably would have died. Now here I am, about to go back home to see my family."

"Do say hello to them for us, dear." Rarity said.

"Will do Rare!"

"And be sure to show them some of my cake recipes!" Pinkie jumped with excitement, holding up a bag. "We packed you a going away present!"

"No way!" Goku took the bag, and opened it up to look inside. Inside were pictures they had taken, recipes from Pinkie Pie and Applejack, and a new outfit Rarity had made herself. "This is awesome! I can't wait to try this on Rarity!"

Goku packed away everything back into the bag, and placed it in the storage compartment of the pod. He turned back to everyone one last time. Everyone stood in a line, including the princesses. Celestia knelt down to one hoof, and bowed her head.

"Goku. I want to personally thank you one last time for your heroism, and bravery. Without you, Equestria might not be here today." Celestia said. "I wish you the best of luck on your journey home."

"I'd like to thank you all too. Especially Fluttershy. I mean, you gave me a place to sleep and food to eat! What more could I have asked for?" Goku said. "I really can't wait to see you all again."

Goku turned, and climbed into the pod. Once he settled into his seat, he took one last look at his friends, and waved.

"Goodbye!"

The door closed, and the sound of the engines powering up became audible. Everyone took a step back as the pod lifted into the air slightly, before rocketing up into the atmosphere. The tiny pod quickly became invisible to the naked eye as it continued to pick up speed, eventually escaping the gravitational pull of the planet. Twilight and her friends looked to the sky, and together yelled...
