Bakugan Brawl!

Location: Canterlot High, a few minutes ago.

“Lunch time the best part of the day.” Artemis said as he began to eat.

“You are a bottomless pit you know that.” Clyde said.

“Yea I know.” Artemis said with a smile. Clyde just shook his head.

“Anyway can we talk about the Bakugan Battle tournament coming up?” Clyde asked.

“You guy shouldn’t even bother entering because me and Spatterix are going to win the whole thing.” Zero said fist pumping. Just then a red ball jumped onto Zero’s shoulder and transformed into a sort of bat with horns and claws.

“You got that right, we’re taking no prisoners.” Spatterix said. Warhawk started to laugh.

“Oh please Zero like you and Spatterix can take me and Sabator.” He said. A brown ball then jumped onto Warhawks shoulder and transformed into what looked like a bull.

“Sorry Spatterix, but Warhawks right you both stand no chance.” Sabator said.

“Are you saying you’re better than us Sabator?” Spatterix asked getting a bit mad.

“Yes I am because it’s the truth.” Sabator said. Zero then stood up and pointed to Warhawk.

“Alright then since you both think you’re so good, how about a battle?” Zero asked. Warhawk smiled and stood up as well.

“Alright Zero bring it on.” Warhawk said.

“Aw come on, you two battle everyday and it always ends with Zero losing.” Night said. A light green ball then jumped onto his shoulder and transformed into what looked like a harpy.

“You know Night’s right Spatterix, you don’t exactly have the best record against Sabator.” The harpy said.

“Oh can it Harpus!” Spatterix said angrily.

“Geez someone need anger management.” Harpus said.

“Just let them go we can’t stop them any way.” Artemis said finishing his food.

“Oh, don’t tell me those two are going at it again.” Everyone turned to see Eclipse and Midnight walking over to the table.

“Zero, aren’t you tired of losing?” Midnight said with a smirk.

“Can it you! I can beat Warhawk if I really wanted to.” Zero said crossing his arms. Just then a white and yellow ball jumped onto Midnight’s shoulder and transformed into a sort of dragon.

“Spatterix don’t you think ten losses is enough for one week.” The small dragon said.

“I get enough of that from Harpus, I don’t need it from you Leo.” Spatterix said.

“I’m with Arrow on this one just let them go.” Clyde said. Warhawk and Zero both pulled out a card from their pockets as did the other and raised them.

BAKUGAN FIELD OPEN!

As soon as that phrase was said, a big circle appeared underneath the boys table and started glow. Those outside of the circle all started to move in slow motion until they all just stopped, while those in the circle were being engulfed by the light and began to disappear.

After a few seconds, the boys and girls appeared in a sort of colosseum, Warhawk and Zero were standing across from each other on the field and the rest were standing and/or sitting in the Colosseum bleachers. Artemis soon notices the Rainbooms.

“Hey girls what are you doing here?” He asked.

“We came to see the battle duh.” Rainbow said.

“Great now we can all watch Zero lose.” Midnight said with a chuckle.

“Hey don’t say that Zero can beat him.” Twilight said.

“Yea sure Twilight keep telling yourself that.” Rainbow said receiving a glare from Twilight.

“Oh they're about to start.” Sonata said smiling.

The Bakugan Battle between Warhawk and Zero Gravity will now begin!

“I’ll throw first this time, Gate card Set!” Zero said as he threw a card down on the ground. The card then began to glow red and grow until it covered the entire field.

“Alright, Bakugan Brawl!” Zero yelled throwing Spatterix onto the field. “Bakugan stand, Rise Pyrus Spatterix.” Just as Zero said that, Spatterix transformed and began to glow red. Soon the little red ball was replaced by a two-legged red and silver bat-like creature with four shielded wings, razor-sharp claws and a spiked horn.

“Get ready Warhawk, this time we’re going to win.” Spatterix said in a cocky tone. Warhawk smiled.

“We’ll see about that, Ready Sabator?” Warhawk asked.

“I’m ready, let’s get this over with.” Sabator said. Warhawk nodded.

“Bakugan Brawl!” Warhawk yell as he threw Sabator. “Bakugan stand, Rise Subterra Sabator.” Just as Warhawk said that, Sabator transformed and began to glow light brown. Soon, the little brown ball was replaced with a giant brown and black bull standing on two legs with Metal horns, metal shoulder and chest plates, and drills coming out of it’s shoulder plates, knees, elbows and the end of it’s tail.

“Let’s end this quickly.” Sabator said.

“Spatterix take flight.” Zero said pointing up.

“You got it” Spatterix said spreading his wings and taking off.

“Running away already Zero?” Warhawk asked. Zero then pulled a card out of his pocket and smiled

“You wish, Ability activate, Death ring shot.” Zero said holding up the card. Spatterix flew above Sabator and released a breath of fire from his mouth.

Spatterix: 900+400=1300
Sabator: 900-400=500

The blast his Sabator full on causing a small explosion. “How did you like that Sabator? Spatterix asked in a cocky tone.

After a few seconds, the smoke from the explosion cleared and Sabator was completely unphased shocking Zero and Spatterix.

“You can’t be serious right now.” Zero said. Warhawk smiled.

“Now it’s my turn, Double Ability activate, Brute Cam Wilder plus Giga Impact.” Warhawk said holding up two cards. Sabator started to glow and soon jumped up and tackled Spatterix making him fall to the ground.

Spatterix: 1300-400=900
Sabator: 500+500+400=1400

Sabator landed back on the ground and looked at Spatterix. “Is that really all you got Spatterix?” Sabator asked. Spatterix then got up, but he was struggling.

“I’m just getting started, Come on Zero let’s win this.” Spatterix said.

“You got it pal, Gate Card Open, Devour Subterra!” As soon as Zero said that, the field began to glow and Sabator began to lose energy. The group in the bleachers were wondering what was going on.

“What’s that gate card Zero used?” Clyde asked.

“It’s a devour command card, it absorbs any and all power from Bakugan that shares the attribute that the player commands.” Sunset explains. Sonata then stood up.

“Warhawk, do something before you lose.” Sonata yelled. Warhawk looked to Sonata and smiled.

“Don’t worry Nata I got this, Ability activate, Rock Freeze.” Warhawk said throwing a card on to the field destroying the gate card and giving Sabator his strength back.

“Alright, he nullified the gate card.” Eclipse said.

“That’s right, and look at the score.” Midnight said.

Spatterix: 900
Sabator: 1400

“The difference in power is 500, so not only will Zero lose the game, he’ll lose Spatterix.” Night said. Sabator then started charging toward Spatterix, but Zero wasn’t finished yet.

“Like I’m going to let you take Spatterix, Ability activate, Power change!” Zero said. Spatterix began to glow and started to fly toward Sabator, but Sabator sent him flying straight back as soon as he got close.

While Spatterix was flying back he began glow and soon he returned to his ball form and rolled over to Zero’s feet.

“Ha that was easy.” Sabator said as he also returned to his ball form, but instead of rolling over to Warhawk he landed back in Warhawk’s hand.

“Alright Warhawk!” Sonata cheered.

“Zero’s lucky he activated that ability in time or else he would have lost Spatterix.” Rainbow said.

“This isn’t looking good for him.” Artemis said. Twilight just stared at Zero

“Come on Zero you can do this.” Twilight thought. Zero picked up Spatterix from the ground.

“Are you alright pal?” He asked.

“Yea I’m fine, let’s get back at it.” Zero smiled. Warhawk and Sabator saw his smile.

“Well looks like they’re get serious.” Sabator said. Warhawk pulled a card out of his pocket.

“Looks like it, Gate Card Set!” Warhawk yelled throwing the card onto the field. “Bakugan Brawl, Sabator stand.” Warhawk said throwing Sabator back onto the field. “Come Zero, you’re not giving up are you?” Warhawk asked with a smirk.

“You wish, Bakugan Brawl, Spatterix stand.” Zero said throwing Spatterix back into battle.

“Alright Spatterix let’s do this, Ability activate, Volcanic Illusion.” After Zero said that the entire field became a volcanic wasteland.

“Woah what happened?” Pinkie asked. Everyone looked to Sunset.

“Don’t look at me, I’ve never heard this ability before.” Sunset said.

“Volcanic Illusion is a special ability only Spatterix can use, it not only changes the battle environment, but also doubles the power of all of Spatterix’s abilities.” Fluttershy said. Everyone stared at her shocked, Fluttershy then hid behind her hair.

“Well I guess Twilight and Sunset aren't the only ones who have been studying the bakugan.” Night said making Fluttershy blush a bit.

“Get ready Warhawk the real battle begins, Ability activate, Magma Storm.” Zero said. Spatterix raised his fist into the air and brought it down hitting the ground. This caused the field to break apart and out of the cracks were huge streams of lava heading straight for Sabator.

Spatterix: 900+800=1700
Sabator: 900-800=100

“Oh crap, Ability activate, Force Chaser.” Warhawk said. Sabator quickly put up a shield around himself and blocked the attack.

Statterix: 1700-800=900
Sabator:100+800=900

“Ability activate, Nova Sonic.” Zero said. Spatterix spread out his wings and flapped them sending out Sonic wave. Sabator tried to block the attack, but got overpowered and fell on his back.

Warhawk was getting a little worried. “Alright no more playing around, Gate Card Open, Enemy Resetter!” Warhawk said. The field began to glow and the Volcanic landscape began to disappear.

“What did you do?” Zero said shocked. Warhawk smiled.

“The Enemy Resetter nullifies all of my opponent’s abilities, Sorry pal.” Warhawk said.

“That’s Warhawk’s favorite command card.” Sonata said smiling.

“Zero better think of something quick.” Clyde said. Twilight was really starting to worry, but a light green ball jumped onto her shoulder and transformed into what looked like a masked warrior.

“Oh Strikeflier, what’s up?” Twilight asked her partner.

“I should be asking you that, You look worried.” Strikeflier said.

“It’s nothing i’m just worried about Zero is all.” Twilight said looking down.

“You shouldn’t worry so much, just look at him he’s having the time of his life down there.” Strikeflier said. Twilight looked at Zero and saw that he was smiling.

“I guess you're right.” Twilight said with a smile.

“Alright Sabator let’s end this, Ability activate, Destroy Horn.” Warhawk said. Sabator’s horns began to glow and he began to charge toward Spatterix.

Zero saw this as opportunity. “Spatterix get moving.” Zero said. Spatterix nodded and started flying towards Sabator. Everyone was confused.

“What is he doing?” Midnight said.

“Either he has a plan or he’s lost it.” Eclipse said.

“He’s gonna lose it alright if those two collide.” Night said. Spatterix and Sabato were just inches away from colliding, but then..

“Alright Spatterix, Double Ability activate, Melting Burst plus Rising Rush.” Zero yelled holding up two cards. In only a few seconds, Sabator’s horns stopped glowing and Spatterix’s body was completely wrapped in flames. Soon after that both bakugan collided and it caused an explosion.

After the dust cleared, Spatterix was still standing, while Sabator was on his back. “Lucky shot.” Sabator said before returning to his ball form and rolling back to Warhawk. Spatterix also returned to his ball form and landed back in Zero’s hand.

“Nice one Zero!” Twilight cheered. Zero smiled and gave her a thumbs up.

“That’s what I call cutting it close.” Midnight said. Leo then jumped onto her shoulder.

“Spatterix and Zero have gotten better.” He said. “That’s true and this next round might end it.” Midnight said.

“So Warhawk how did you like that?” Zero asked with a smirk. Warhawk picked up Sabator.

“I have to admit we walked straight into that one, but from here on out i’m showing no mercy.” Warhawk said with a smile.

“If you’re trying to scare me it’s not working pal,Gate Card Set!. Zero said throwing a card onto the field. “Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan stand!” he said throwing Spatterix back onto the field.

“Come on Sabator let’s end this.” Spatterix said.

“Ready for the last round?” Warhawk asked.

“Of course I am, let’s take them down.” Sabator said. Warhawk nodded.

“Bakugan Brawl Bakugan stand.” He said throwing Sabator onto the field. “Bring it on Spatterix.” Sabator said.

“Ability Activate, Death ring shot.” Zero said as Spatterix started breathing fire.

“Repeating abilities already Zero, Ability Activate, Force Chaser.” Warhawk said. Sabator put up a shield blocking the attack.

Sabator:500+400=900

“Oh and you say I’m repeating abilites, Ability Activate, Hyper Blaze.” Just as Zero said that Spatterix began to glow and in a split second he was face to face with Sabator who was soon punched in the gut and sent flying backwards.

Spatterix: 900+500=1300
Sabator:900-500=400

“Sabator, you ok?” Warhawk asked concerned. Sabator struggled but he got up.

“I’ll be fine, but that one hurt.” Sabator said.

“Hey Warhawk, what happened to no mercy?” Zero asked. Warhawk growled a bit.

“Alright Sabator Battle Gear time.” Warhawk said as he raise his right arm revealing a small light orange watch like device, but this so called watch had a mini keyboard on it. Warhawk pressed the buttons and the watch began to glow. “Ready: Chompixx.” The watch said as a tanish brown rectangular block materialized from the light. Warhawk grabbed the block. “Battle Gear Boost!” He said throwing the block at Sabator. The block landed on Sabator’s back and began to glow and grow. Soon Sabator had two large Twin sickle blades with a double-sided ax on his back.

“Oh crap.” Zero said.

“BATTLE GEAR TIME, GO WARHAWK!!” Sonata cheered.

“I’m really not that shocked.” Applejack said.

“This does not look good.” Artemis said.

“Don’t get intimidated Zero stay focused.” Twilight said. Zero took a deep breath and got his head back in the game.

“Fine then Warhawk bring on the Battle Gear, I’m ready.” Zero said.

“Then get ready for this, Battle Gear Ability Activate, Chompixx Land Breaker.” Warhawk said holding up a card. Sabator raised the twin sickles on his back and then impaled then into the ground causing rocks to fly everywhere, an earthquake and also cracking the field.

Spatterix tried flying away, but was being hit by rocks so he couldn’t gain any altitude. “Now Ability Activate, Giga Impact.” Warkawk said. Sabator began to glow and charge straight for Spatterix.

“It’s over Spatterix can’t fly or move out of the way, Zero lost.” Clyde said.

“Are you really that suprised?” Rainbow asked.

“He was doing so well too.” Fluttershy said. Twilight bit her lip begging for a miracle.

“Game over Zero, Any last words?” Warhawk asked. Zero smiled.

“Just six, Gate Card Open, Darkus Battle Audience.” Soon the field was covered completely in a dark haze and Spatterix’s body turned from red and silver to purple and silver and his wings turned from red to black.

“Whoa, why did it get all dark?” Pinkie asked.

“This is a battle audience not only changes the attribute of your bakugan, but it also changes the battlefield into the attribute the player calls and since he called Darkus the field was covered in this dark mist.” Sunset explained.

“That’s not all it also nullifies all the opponent's abilities and decreases their power by 500.” Twilight said with a smile. Spatterix soon disappeared in the into the dark mist.

“Aww I hate this command card.” Warhawk growled.

“Stop hiding you coward.” Sabator said trying to find Spatterix.

“Who are you calling coward.” Spatterix said as he kicked Sabator in the back causing him to fall over.

“Great job Spatterix let’s end this, Ability Activate, Power change.” Zero said. Sabator began to glow and flew towards Sabator.

Spatterix:900+300=1200
Sabator:800

Statterix tackled Sabator causing him to fall over. “Hehe good job Spatterix” Sabator said as he returned to his ball form and rolled back to Warhawk. “Haha we won.” Spatterix said returning to his ball form landing in Zero’s hand.

Everyone in the bleacher except for Twilight were shock. “Oh my gosh he won.” Clyde said.

“No Warhawk lost!” Sonata whined.

“That...was...Awesome, go Zero.” Rainbow said.

“Well looks like the losing streak finally ends, huh Harpus?” Night asked.

“Looks like it, I have to admit those two were amazing.” Harpus said. Night and the others nodded. Twilight was so happy for Zero.

“You were great Zero.” She said smiling at him.

Battle over winner: Zero Gravity!

Soon as that was said the entire field started to glow and began to disappear. After a few seconds, the field was completely gone and everyone returned to their original spots as when they left.

“Yes I won!” Zero cheered. Warhawk walked over to Zero.

“Nice brawl Zero.” He said.

“Thanks man, I have to admit you had me scared when the Battle gear came out.” Zero said.

“I still can’t believe he won.” Clyde whispered to Artemis.

“Well he was due for a victory sooner or later.” Artemis whispered back.

Rainbooms Table.

“I still can’t believe he won.” Rainbow said.

“I can’t believe Warhawk lost.” Sonata said with a sad face.

“Hey don’t worry Nata, Warhawk did his best.” Pinkie said.

“She’s right Nata chill out remember ‘cool is the rule’.” Akwimos said trying to cheer his partner up.” Sonata smiled.

“Yea you’re right, he did his best and I’m proud of him.” Sonata said. Twilight stared at Zero with a smile on her face.

“See I told you he could do this.” Strikeflier said.

“I never doubted him.” Twilight said.

“That’s a full blown lie and you know it.” Strikeflier said, but Twilight ignored him. Rainbow then stood up.

“That battle got me fired up I can’t wait for the tournament now.” Rainbow said excited.

“So am I, this is going to be fun.” Pinkie said with a smile. The rest of the girls nodded and continued to finish their lunch.

Unknown location

“Are you there Dr. Rex?” A mysterious figure asked. Soon a man with spiky black hair and red
eyes. He was wearing a black lab coat with a red blazer underneath, white pants and black boots.

“Yes Lilac I’m here, What is it you need?” He asked.

“I need….to get into a certain tournament at Canterlot High.” The figure known as Lilac said.

“You do realize that the Bearers of Harmony are there, don’t you?” Dr. Rex asked. Lilac smiled.

“Oh I know that, I just want to see if they’re a challenge” Lilac said.

The students from both CHS and Crystal Crep were all gathering in the gym to prepare for the Bakugan Battle Tournament.

"Attention all CHS and Crystal Prep students, please take your seats so that we may begin." Dean Cadance said over the intercom. The students all took their seat and gave their attention to Cadance.

"Thank you, now I welcome everyone to the Bakugan Battle Tournamet. I understand all of you are eager to start, but before we do Principal Celestia would like to say a few words." Cadance said giving Celestia the mic.

"Thank you Dean Cadance, I would just like to say that I this may be a competition, but remember these tournaments are meant for all of you to not only connect with your Bakugan partners, but to connect with each other on both an emotional and mental level. Now without further ado, LET THE BAKUGAN BATTLE TOURNAMENT BEGIN!" As soon and Celestia said that the gym was filled with cheers. Vice Principal Luna stepped up next to here sister and took the mic.

"Alright everybody take out your cards and let's get this show on the road." Luna said holding up a card. Everyone in the gym pulled out their cards and raised them up.

"BAKUGAN FIELD OPEN!!"

As soon as those words were said the entire outside of the school was surrounded by a big circle with six mini circles with symbols on them and started to glow. Those cars and people outside of the circle all started to move in slow motion until they all just stopped, while those in the circle were being engulfed by a multi colored light and began to disappear. After a few seconds, everyone in the school appeared in the coliseum and began to cheer again. The Ranbooms, The Dazzlings and the PomE Gang (CHS) seemed the most excited, well Pinkie, Sonata and Rainbow were.

"This is so awesome I can't wait to start." Rainbow said with enthusiasm.

"I know I'm so excited let's brawl." Pinkie said bouncing up and down. Swift then came up and grabbed Pinkie from behind.

"You're a little too excited Pinkie." He said kissing Pinkie on the cheek. Pinkie turned around and smiled at him.

"How could I not, I'm going to win." She said confidently.

"You better get that idea out of your head Pinkie, me and Rubanoid are winning this." Sunset said. Rubanoid then jumped onto her shoulder.

"You got that right Shimmy." He said in a cocky tone.

"Wow you guys really think you stand a chance?" Indigo said. The girls turn to see only the Shadow 5, Heavenly Quill, Rapid Shadow and Sparkjump walking over and sitting next to them.

"Is that a challenge Zap?" Rainbow said cracking her knuckles.

"You bet it is, get ready to lose." Zap said mimicking Rainbow. The other just looked at the scene and rolled their eyes.

"Those two don't quit, they're worse than Zero and Warhawk." Applejack said shaking her head.

"I wouldn't go that far, Zero and Warhawk battle at least four times a day." Aria said.

"Yea and most of them end with Zero losing." Adagio said bluntly.

"HEY I BEAT HIM 3 DAYS AGO!" Zero said angrily.

"Oops did I say that out loud." Adagio said with a smirk. Akwimos then jumped onto Sonata's shoulder.

"Come on Dagi don't be like that, Zero's just as good a brawler as you are." He said.

"Akwimos is right Dagi, stop trying to bring him down." Sonata said. Adagio rolled her eyes.

"I'm just stating the facts." She said shrugging her shoulders.

"Oh screw you Dazzle." Zero said angrily.

"Sorry Zero, but I have Daemon for that." Adagio said causing Daemon to blush and turn away.

"Come on Adagio knock it off." Artemis said.

"Fine killjoy I'll stop." Adagio said. A red and black ball then jumped onto Adagio's shoulder and transformed into what looked like a dragon with large black wings and red eyes.

"You all might as well give up now, none of you stand a chance against me." The red and black bakugan said. Harpus then jumped onto Night's shoulder.

"Oh can it Helios, like and Adagio can beat me and Night." She said.

"What did you say?" Helios asked angrily.

"You heard me." Harpus said back.

"Calm down you two, save the arguments for the battle field. Does anyone know who is going to battle first?" Night asked. Sunset pulled out a packet of papers from her bag.

"Let's see, first up is Eclipse and a girl named Lilac Steele." Sunset said reading the packet.

"Alright I'm first to battle just one question, who's Lilac Steele?" Eclipse asked looking at his friends. Everyone looked just as confused as he did, none of then have ever heard of a girl named Lilac Steele.

"That's actually a good question, I've never heard of her before." Applejack said putting a hand to her chin.

"Same here I don't think she goes to Crystal Prep, we would have known if she did." Sunny Flare said.

"Ok then where did she come from?" Rainbow asked.

"I got a better question where are Rarity and Fluttershy?" Pinkie said.

"Rarity had to manage the Boutique today, plus she said that she wasn't really interested." Clyde answered.

"And Fluttershy is at the animal shelter helping out her mother." Night said. Before anything else could be said, principal Celestia spoke up into the intercom.

"Alright everyone settle down, now will Solar Eclipse and Lilac Steele please report to the Battle Field." She said.

"Go time, wish me luck guys." Eclipse said getting up.

"Good luck." Midnight said kissing him on the cheek before he made his way to the field.

"So how do you think he'll do?" Rapid asked.

"He'll be fine, Eclipse is a great brawler. I'm still wondering who this Lilac girl is." Sour Sweet said.

"Well we're about to find out look." Daemon said gesturing to the battle field. Eclipse walked on to the field listening to the students from both schools cheering for him.

"Alright so where is my opponent?" He asked. A few seconds later, A peach skinned girl walked onto the field. She had black and purple hair and piercing blue eyes. She was wearing a light purple t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it, a dark purple skirt, black fingerless gloves and dark blue boots with black flames on them. Everyone in the bleachers had the same question running through their minds 'Who was this girl?'.

"Ok now that we see her, does any recognize her?" Applejack asked.

"NO! and I know everyone that goes to CHS and Crystal prep." Pinkie said.

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me." Warhawk said shaking his head. Back on the battle field, Eclipse looked at the girl in front of him and smiled.

"So you're my opponent, you new here or what?" He said. The girl smiled back at him.

"Yea something like that, my name is Lilac Steele it's a nice to meet you." She said in a icy tone. The girl's voice made Eclipse shiver, but he shrugged it off.

"I'm Solar Eclipse, it's nice to meet you too. So are you ready to do this?" He asked her.

"Ladies first." Eclipse said. Lilac smiled.

"Such a gentleman, Doom Card Set." Lilac then drops a card with a skull of a dragon on it right next to her. The card then glows purple and inserts itself into the field causing the entire coliseum to glow purple for a few second. Back in the bleachers Sunset and the Dazzlings felt a weird chill up their spines.

"Whoa that felt creepy." Sunset said rubbing her arm. Adagio then looked at her.

"Wait you felt it too?" She asked.

"If you mean the weird chill up my spine then yes." Sunset said.

"Same here" Aria said. "Me two." Sonata said shivering.

"What are you guys talking about?" Soul asked confused.

"For some reason my sisters and your girlfriend got this creepy chill up all our spines." Adagio explained.

"Yea and it happened as soon as the Lilac girl threw down that card." Aria said Glaring at Lilac.

"You think she's up to something?" Rainbow asked.

"I don't know, but I think were about to find out in this battle." Sunset said. Back on the Battle Field Eclipse looked at Lilac confused.

"Hey, what was that card?" He asked

"Oh nothing let's just get to the battle, Gate Card Set!" Lilac said throwing a card onto the field. The card then glowed purple and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared. "Well Solar I'd like to introduce you to my partner, Bakugan Brawl!" Lilac said throwing a black and purple ball onto the field. "Bakugan Stand, Rise Darkus Hydranoid!" The black and purple ball transformed and began to glow a bright purple causing everyone in the coliseum to shield their eyes. When the light died down, the black and purple ball was replaced with a creature that walks on four legs, has three purple teeth jutting out from it's upper jaw, and a long neck and tail. It also has pink spines running from the middle of its neck to about the end of its tail, which somewhat resembles the tail of a stegosaurus. In addition to this, it has a large pink horn on its nose and red eyes. It also has what looked like a blade in the center of its chest.

Eclipse just looked at the creature in front of him and began to sweat. "What the hell is that thing?" He thought to himself. Everyone in the bleachers were thinking the exact same thing, but the ones who were really worried were Sunset and the Dazzlings.

"s.. s.. Sunset you feel that?" Adagio asked in a worried tone. Sunset didn't answer, she was to frightened to say anything.

"Sunset you ok?" Soul asked concerned. Once again Sunset didn't respond, she just kept staring at Lilac's bakugan.

"What's wrong with her?" Applejack asked.

"It's not her you should be worrying about." Aria said trembling.

"Ari what's wrong, why shouldn't we worry about her?" Artemis asked.

"Because the thing down there is giving off some serious negative energy." Aria said with the same worry in her voice as Adagio.

"Ari's right and that's not all it's giving off a dark aura, that bakugan is evil." Sonata said holding onto Warhawk's arm. The other's were looking at the four girls with confused looks on their faces.

"What do you mean evil, is it like when we fought you, Twilight or Sunset?" Applejack aksed. Sunset finally spoke up.

"No this is much worse." She said.

"She's right me and my sisters may have fed off of negative energy, but this...this is just...insane." Adagio said.

"Is it really that terrible I mean I know we can't sense it, but is it really that bad?" Octavia asked. Sunset then turned to Octavia.

"Octavia think of my She-demon form, The Dazzlings at full power, and Midnight Sparkle, Multiply their power by ten and then fuse then together. that's only a fraction of what we're felling right now." Sunset said in a somber tone. Everyone paled after hearing what she said and looked at the creature on the field.

"What do we do, we can't let Eclipse battle her." Midnight said worried about her boyfriend.

"We have no choice, form what I'm feeling Midnight my angel form wouldn't so much as scratch that thing." Sunset said. That sentence right there started making everyone sweat.

"Once again she's right all we can do is watch and hope Eclipse can pull through." Adagio said in a somber tone. Everyone then looked to Eclipse with worried expressions on their faces.

"Cosmic you just love putting us in dangerous situations don't you." Treble said to the Author.

"Treble this is serious, we have no time for your 'Fourth Wall Breaking' nonsense." Vinyl said glaring at her boyfriend.

"Sorry." Treble said. Back on the battle field, Eclipse was still shocked by the Bakugan in front of him.

"What's wrong Solar you're not scared of my Hydranoid are you?" Lilac asked in a mocking tone. Eclipse then gritted his teeth, but before he could say anything back Hydranoid spoke up.

"No one will blame you for giving up human that way you can save yourself the embarrassment." He said in a deep and cold voice. Eclipse was a little creeped out by Hydraniod's voice, but he took a deep breath and took out a bakugan.

"Are you kidding, I'm not running away let's do this, Bakugan Brawl!" Eclipse said throwing a black, purple and silver ball onto the field. "Bakugan Stand, Let's go Darkus Anchorsaur." The black ball transformed and began to glow. Soon the ball was replaced with a purple bipedal reptile with gems embedded in its shoulders and armor on its legs, shoulders, and arms.

"Alright let's see what you got Lilac." Eclipse said.

Oh I've got plenty let me show you, Ability Activate: Auragano Revenge!" Lilac said throwing a card at Hydranoid. Hydranoid was soon surrounded by a black aura and released a blueish purple steam of fire from his mouth.

The flames covered Anchorsaur causing him to fall on his back a roar in pain. " Hold on Anchorsaur, Ability Activate: Zero Reflection!" Eclipse said holding up a card. Anchorsaurs body began to glow and the flames began to die down.

Anchorsaur: 100+300+200=600

"He got so lucky just now." Swift said.

"I know and did you hear Anchorsaur scream?" Lemon said a little freaked out.

"I'm trying to un-hear it." Sonata said covering her ears.

"This is only going to get worse, I can tell." Sunset said. Midnight was getting really worried, she felt really helpless. Leonidas then jumped onto her shoulder.

"Midnight you need to calm down, I know it's bad but you need to have faith in him right now." He said.

"I know Leo, but-" "I understand, but right now you need to relax." Leonidas said cutting her off. Midnight nodded and continued watching.

"Wow I'm surprised you survived that try this, Ability Activate: Violet Nightmare." Lilac said. Hydranoid was then covered by a violet aura and in split second he was behind Anchorsaur. He then used his tail and slammed Anchorsaur from behind. Anchorsaur was sent flying across the field and crashed into the coliseum wall.

"Enough, Ability Acti-" "Gate Card Open: Freeze Enemy!" Lilac said cutting eclipse off. The field began to glow and just as Anchorsaur was getting back up he frozen in place.

"What did you do?" Eclipse asked. Lilac smiled.

"The Command Card 'Freeze Enemy' is a trap card that freezes the movements of the opponent, prevents them from activating ablilities, and decreases their power by two-hundred." Lilac said with a chuckle.

"That's not fair." Eclipse said.

"She completely shut Eclipse down." Rainbow said shocked by Lilac's move.

"I will admit that was a good move." Rivet said.

"Hydranoid Attack!" Lilac commanded. Hydranoid was once again covered by a violet aura and in a split second he was behind a frozen Anchorsaur. He then swung his tail and slammed Anchorsuar into the air this time. Then something strange happened to Anchorsaur, instead of going back to ball form a huge portal opened up in the direction that Anchosaur was flying and as soon as Anchorsaur was on the other side of the portal it closed. Everyone in the Bleacher were speechless by what they just saw and Eclipse wasn't doing any better.

"w.. w.. What did you do?" Eclipse choked out. Lilac just gave a dark chuckle. Hydranoid then returned to ball form and landed in lilac's hand.

"Did she just get rid of Anchorsaur?" Twilight asked.

"I'm afraid Anchorsaur has been sent to the Doom Dimension." He said. Everyone then looked at him.

"The what Dimension?" Rainbow asked. Back on the battle field, Eclipse finally got over his shock but he was angry.

"What did you do with Anchorsaur, Bring him back." He demanded with venom in his voice. Lilac chuckled again.

"Sorry no can do once the Doom Card has been played the battle is over." She said with a smile.

"Doom Card?" Eclipse asked confused.

"Yes Eclipse the Doom Card, Once it's been thrown down it overpowers all cards and sends the defeated bakugan into another dimension for eternity." Lilac explained. Everyone was shocked by what she said.

"She right Sunset, a bakugan can never escape from the Doom Dimension." Rubanoid said in a somber tone. Strikeflier then jumped onto to Twilight's shoulder.

"It is there that we meet our eternal demise, nothing is feared more." He said.

"I don't believe it this girl is crazy, she's literally killing Bakugan." Vinyl said gritting her teeth.

"Doesn't she understand that the bakugan are living creatures, she can't just go around killing them." Quill said getting angry. That anger was shared by his friends, but mostly by Eclipse.

"How could you do something like that, you're going to pay for this. Gate Card Set!" Eclipse said throwing a card onto the field. "Bakugan Brawl, Hammersaur Stand." he said throwing a new black ball onto the field. This time the ball was replaced by another bipedal reptilian Bakugan, that resembles Anchorsaur. Unlike Anchorsaur, Hammersaur has large armored hands which are its distinguishing feature.

"Well see about that, Bakugan Brawl, Hydranoid Stand." Lilac said throwing Hydranion back into battle.

"If you really think you can defeat us boy, you're a bigger fool than I thought." Hydranoid taunted.

Eclipse gritted his teeth.

"Well see about that, Ability Activate: Crush Hurricane." He said. Hammersaur's armored hands began to glow, he then jumped in the air and dived straight for Hydranoid.

Lilac just smirked and held a card above her head. "Ability Activate: Double Dimension." She said. The card then glowed causing Hammersaur's Armored hands to go back to normal.

"You nullified his ability." Eclipse said shocked.

"Very observant." Lilac said with a smirk.

"Back off weakling." Hydranoid said releasing fire from his mouth. The Fire hit Hammersaur causing him to fall onto the ground.

"That's it, Gate Card Open: Enemy Down." Eclipse growled.

"And now Ability Activate: Chaos Rip!" Eclipse said. The claws on Hammersaurs's armored hands began to glow and grow. He quickly made his way to Hydranoid and began hitting him with multiple slashes.

How do you like that?" He asked Lilac.

"I don't know why don't you ask Hydranoid." Lilac said with a smirk. Eclipse raised an eyebrow and looked over to Hydranoid. Hammersaur was still slashing away, but Hydranoid was standing there like nothing was happening.

"Hehe stop that tickles." He said in a mocking tone. Eclipse began to sweat again.

"What the hell!?" He said shocked.

"If you really think you can beat us with a weak attack like that, you won't get very far. Ability Activate: Dimension 4." Soon Hydranoid was covered by a black aura and that aura spread across the entire field.

Hammersaur: 700

"What!?" Eclipse said shocked.

"Dimension 4 nullifies your Gate Card sorry pal." Lilac said with a smirk.

"This girl won't let up, but doesn't mean I'm giving up. Ability Activate: Dark Divider." Eclipse said. Hammersaur's began to glow and with a quick dash he tackled Hydranoid to the ground.

"Finally I'm getting somewhere." Eclipse said with a smile.

"Yes now finish her off Eclipse." Midnight yelled.

"Hammersaur Attack!" Eclipse said. Hammersaur went in strike the final blow but..

"Ability Activate." Lilac throws a card into the air causing an unnatural storm to occur. "Chaos.. of the.. Darkness." Lilac said in a sadistic tone. A bolt of lightning shot out of the storm and struck Hydranoid. As soon as it did that, Hydranoid shot a ball a dark energy at Hammersaur, but Hammersaur holds out his hands and tries to deflect it.

"Sorry, but you're still low on power Lilac. Hammer send that ball right back." Eclipse said.

"Like I would let that happen, Fusion Ability Activate: Lunatic Burst." Lilac said.

Hydranoid released a massive steam of fire from his mouth, aiming straight for the energy ball. As soon as the fire made contact with a the ball, it caused a massive explosion and Hammersaur was right in the middle on it.

"Haamersaur!" Eclipse screamed. When the smoke cleared Hydranoid was the only one on the field and he was looking down a portal in the ground with a hand sinking into it before closing.

"Fool I told you, you had no chance of winning." Hydranoid said going back to ball form and landing in Lilac's hand.

Everyone was shocked by what they saw not only did Lilac win, but she sent another bakugan to it's death.

"How could she be so cruel?" Twilight asked.

"I told you that bakugan was evil!" Sonata said hiding behind Warhawk.

"She completely destroyed Eclipse, I mean I didn't expect her to play a Fusion Ablility." Rainbow said. Midnight was completely speechless, she couldn't believe that this Lilac girl beat her boyfriend.

"h.. He lost." was all midnight was able to choke out.

"Well that was fun, it was nice battling you Eclipse later." Lilac said waking away.

"Get back here!" Eclipse yelled. Lilac stopped in her tracks and turned her head.

"Sorry pal, but I have no time for weaklings. I just hope my next opponent isn't as disappointing as you were." With that she left and Eclipse fell to his knees.

“Let’s go Spatterix, Ability Activate: Death Ring Shot!” Zero said holding up a card. Spatterix flew over to his opponent and released a stream of fire from it’s mouth. The bakugan Spatterix was facing had huge green wings an armoured body, the head of a raven and sharp talons.

“Ravenoid watchout!” Carrot Top shouted.

Spatterix: 1000+400=1400
Ravenoid: 1400-400=1000

Ravenoid was then hit and consumed by the flames before returning to ball form.

Spatterix then returned to ball form and landed in Zero’s hand.

“Thanks but I will admit that was a tough one.” Spatterix said.

“Uh..yea.” Spatterix said in a sad tone. Zero then looked to his partner with concern.

“Just be careful ok, we don’t want Rarity worrying about you.” Sunset said. Clyde nodded and walk off. “Do you think he has a chance?” Soul asked.

“I don’t know Clyde and Wolfurio are a good team, but Lilac and Hydranoid are in perfect sync. If Clyde wants to stand a chance he and Wolfurio and going to have to focus.” Sunset said.

“I can only think what Rarity would do if she saw this.” Indigo said.

“She would probably beg Clyde not to go down there and battle Lilac.” Sour said.

“Can we not think about that right now? Let’s just watch the battle.” Vinyl said looking down at the field. Everyone nodded and turned their attention to the field. As Clyde walked onto the field Wolfurio jumped onto his shoulder.

“Clyde are you sure about this?’ He asked.

“Not really, but we have to win not just for Eclipse’s sake but for the sake of the bakugan Lilac sent to the Doom Dimension.” Clyde said with a serious look on his face.

“If that’s your decision then I’m with you all the way.” Wolfurio said.

“Thank you Wolfurio.” Clyde said with a smile. Lilac then walked onto the field.

“So you’re my opponent?” She asked.

“Yes I am, I’m Clyde.” Clyde said introducing himself.

“Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan stand, Let’s go Haos Wolfurio.” Clyde said throwing Wolfurio on to the field. Wolfurio’s ball was soon replaced by a Knight with white and yellow armor which encased his body protects him without restricting his movements.

“Let’s see what you got Hydranoid.” Wolfurio said.

“Not this time, Ability Activate: Royal Light!” Clyde said holding up a card. A golden light then surrounded Wolfurio as he held out his hands to block the attack.

“Alright he nullified her ability!” Sonata said cheerfully.

“Not only that he took down his opponents power and increased his own.” Twilight said with a smile on her face.

“He might actually have a chance after all.” Midnight said. Eclipse kept watching without saying a word.

“Oh~ I like your style Clyde and your partner is just as amazing as you are.” Lilac said in a flirtatious tone. Clyde and everyone else raised a eyebrow at Lilac’s comment.

“Is she....flirting with Clyde?” Soul asked confused.

“I think so.” Rivet answered.

“Oh Rarity’s not going to like this.” Pinkie said.

“No she is not.” Swift said. Clyde then regained his composure.

“Aww~ that’s too bad you’re quite the looker and you are my type. Double Ability Activate: Gravity Chamber plus Dusk Tornado.” Lilac said holding up two cards. Hydranoid’s eyes began to glow as a purple tornado began to surround it. Wolfurio then found himself being pulled in by the tornado.

“Ugh, What’s happening, I can't get away.” Wolfurio said as he was struggling to get away from the tornado.

“Hang on Wolfurio!” Zero yelled. Wolfurio tried his best, but he was then sucked into the tornado.

“I hope you have a plan big guy.” Lilac said in a playful tone.

“She really is flirting with him.” Lemon said with wide eyes.

“Forget that right now, if Clyde doesn’t step his game up he’ll lose Wolfurio.” Aria said. Clyde then looked at the tornado with determination in his eyes and smiled.

“Oh I have a plan alright, Ability Activate: Solar Flare.” Clyde said throwing a card into the tornado. The tornado soon turned from purple to yellow and disappeared freeing Wolfurio.

“Well I didn’t expect that, let’s see if you can handle this, Gate Card Open: Hyper Merge!” Lilac said. The field then began to glow, but as soon as it did the light began to fade away. Lilac raised an eyebrow and looked to Clyde who had a smirk on his face.

“Sorry Lilac, but I’m in control, my Solar Flare ability not only increases Wolfurio’s power and decreases Hydranoid’s, it also nullifies and destroys your gate card.” He said.

“That’s the way Clyde, take her down!” Zero cheered.

“I don’t believe it, he’s really is holding his own and he’s doing awesomely.” Sour said shocked.

“You got that right, no one messes with the King of the Gentlemen.” Treble said. Eclipse was still watching in silence and Midnight was starting to worry.

“Eclipse are you ok?” She asked putting a hand on his shoulders only to have him smack it away.

“I’m fine.” He growled. Midnight wanted to say something, but Artemis put a hand on her shoulder.

“Just let him cool off, he’ll be fine.” He said. Midnight nodded and turned her focus back on the battle.

“Well, I didn’t expect you to be this good Wolfurio.” Hydranoid said.

“I’m full of surprises Hydranoid and you’re about to find out just how many.” Wolfurio said as he began to glow and charge toward Hydranoid.

“Hehe you're not the only one with surprises.” Hydranoid said with a slight chuckle.

“Ability Activate: Violet Nightmare.” Lilac said. Hydranoid was then covered in a violet aura and began charging toward Wolfurio.

Both Wolfurio and Hydranoid collided with each other causes a small explosion, Lilac and Clyde didn’t flinch however. When the smoke cleared Hydranoid and Wolfurio were still standing with barely a scratch on them.

“Ok the battle is looking pretty even at this point.” Adagio said.

“Yea Clyde and Wolfurio are really putting in work.” Zero said.

“They may be equally matched now, but I have a feeling those two are just warming up.” Warhawk said.

“Your right and I just hope Clyde knows what he's doing.” Sunset said.

“He'll be fine it's Clyde remember.” Soul said with a smile. Lilac looked at Clyde with a smile on her face.

“You’re really good, I didn’t expect you to last this long and it's still only the first round. I must say Clyde, you sure know how to show a girl a good time.” She said winking at him. Clyde flinched a bit and had a small blush on his face.

“What’s wrong with me, I have to stay focused and getting caught up in this girls flirting isn't helping. Besides I have Rarity what more do I need in my life.” Clyde said shaking his head.

“Aw, is someone blushing?” Lilac asked in a playful tone. Clyde then looked to Lilac.

“You wish, now let's get back to the battle.” He said.

“I agree, but this time I won't hold back.” Lilac said with a sadistic smile.

“That makes two of us.” Clyde said with a serious look. They both stood in silence for what seemed like hours, but really only a few seconds went by.

“Quiet Pinkie, this is getting serious.” Sunset said. The silence was finally broken when both Lilac and Clyde pulled a card from their pockets.

“Ability Activate!” They both said simultaneously.

“Chaos..of the...Darkness!” Lilac said in a sadistic tone. Once again an unnatural storm began to form above the arena and a bolt of lightning shot out out of the storm and struck Hydranoid. As soon as it did that, Hydranoid shot a ball a dark energy at Wolfurio.

Wolfurio: 600
Hydranoid: 600+500=1100

“Lightning Chaser!” Clyde said throwing a card at Wolfurio. Wolfurio was then wrapped in a golden light and lightning. He then both his hands together and threw a ball of lightning at Hydranoid.

Both attacks collided with each other causing massive shockwaves throughout the colosseum, Lilac, Clyde as well as everyone in the colosseum shielded themselves from the shockwaves.

“Whoa now that’s what I call power!” Rainbow said still shielding herself. After a few seconds, Wolfurio’s ball of lightning overpowered Hydranoid’s ball of dark energy and proceeded to hit Hydranoid in his face causing him to be thrown into the arena wall.

“Ugh lucky punk.” Hydranoid said before turning back to ball for and rolling back to Lilac.

“Not luck, just skill.” Wolfurio said before also returning to ball form and landing in Clyde's hand.

Everyone in the colosseum bleachers began to cheer for Clyde and Wolfurio.

“Alright Clyde!” Soul cheered.

“I can’t believe he actually won!” Sonata said with a big smile.

“I wouldn’t start celebrating just yet, it’s still early much too early to see how this will all turn out.” Adagio said with her arms crossed.

“Adagio’s right guys calm down.” Sunset said.

“Come on Shimmer, don’t be such a downer. Clyde can do this, we all know he can.” Rivet said.

“Well see.” Sunset said to herself. Lilac picked up Hydranoid and smiled at Clyde.

“You are really good Clyde, this is the first time me and Hydranoid have ever lost a round.” She said.

“Well there’s a first time for everything.” Clyde said crossing his arms.

“Oh I agree, but you see I don’t do losing.” Just when Lilac said that a black aura surrounded her. Everyone in the colosseum started to shiver as the saw the black aura around her.

“What the hell is she!?” Aria said in shock.

“I don’t know, but I don’t think Clyde should have made her angry.” Sugarcoat said with slight shock in her voice. Clyde looked at the girl with wide eyes.

“Who are you?” He asked. Lilac then looked at him with a sadistic smile.

“I’m the Darkus Master handsome and You’re about to find out why.” She said in a dark tone.

"What are you doing Lilac?” Clyde asked. Lilac closed her eyes and snickered.

“Oh nothing really, I’m just showing you what happens when I get angry.” She said in a sadistic tone. Soon the field and sky turned pitch black, leaving everyone in the colosseum blind.

“What’s going on?” Rainbow asked getting freaked out.

“I’m not sure, but I think it’s time we intervene.” Adagio said. After a few seconds a full moon appeared above the colosseum illuminating the field below. Clyde looked around and was a bit freaked out.

“What happened, what did you do?” He asked turning to Lilac. She opened her eyes once again and smiled.

“What’s wrong handsome, you don’t like what I did to the field? Oh well, now I believe it’s your turn Clyde show me what you got.” She said in a cold tone. Clyde flinched a bit and stood there frozen for what seemed like minutes. Wolfurio then jumped onto his shoulder.

“Clyde...Clyde are you ok?” He asked. Clyde shook his head and composed himself.

“Not really, this is just too crazy. I knew she had a bakugan with dark powers, I didn’t expect her to have dark powers.” Clyde said with slight fear in his voice.

“Clyde I want you to listen to me, You and I have been through alot these past few months and we have not come this far to be beaten by some girl who thinks she can waltz in and turn what was a fun sport into a game of death. You and I can beat her as long as you don’t let fear take you over and you trust me. We’re Partners and we look out for each other always.” Wolfurio said in a serious and hopeful tone. Clyde looked to his partner and took a deep breath.

“You’re right and I’m sorry I kinda lost myself there.” Clyde said with a smile.

“It’s fine partner, so you ready?” Wolfurio asked. Clyde nodded and pulled a card out of his pocket.

“Hey Lilac.” Clyde said. “Yes Clyde, do you need something?” She asked with a smile.

“Yea I need you to lose, Gate Card Set! Bakugan Brawl, Wolfurio Stand!” Clyde said throwing Wolfurio back onto the field.

“Come on Hydranoid, let’s end this.” Wolfurio said.

“Hehe someone sounds confident, let’s show him who he’s messing with. Bakugan Brawl, Hydranoid Stand.” Lilac said throwing Hydranoid back onto the field.

“Is Clyde out of his mind he can’t continue this.” Soul said panicking.

“Soul’s right, that girl is literally leaking dark magic.” Sunset said also panicking.

“CLYDE STOP IT, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE JUST STOP!” Artemis yelled only to have see Clyde shake his head.

“Don’t worry Artemis, we’ll be fine I promise.” Clyde said.

“Like I said, It’s been nice knowing him.” Warhawk said crossing his arms. Sonata then hit him in the back of the head and glared at him.

“This is Serious Warhawk the least you could do is pretend to be worried about him.” She said.

“I am worried about him you think I like seeing my friend and his partner battling a evil girl with dark powers and possibly risking their lives? No! I Don’t! So don’t go judging me by what I say Nata.” Warhawk said glaring back at her.

“Then act like it and stop talking like that.” Sonata said crossing her arms.

“Stop it you two, this isn’t the time to be fighting amongst ourselves we have bigger problems.” Artemis said trying to calm the couple down. Sonata and Warhawk looked back to the battle, but both were still angry with the other. Back on the battlefield, Hydranoid and Wolfurio were both staring at each other intensively.

“What are you waiting for Wolfurio, you’re not scared are you?” Hydranoid asked in a cocky tone.

“Scared of you, did you forget who beat you five minutes ago?” Wolfurio asked with the same cocky tone. Hydranoid growled at him in anger.

“Keep your cool Hydranoid, Ability Activate: Poison Needles.” Lilac said holding up a card. Hydranoid’s body glowed purple as the sharp needles on it’s back began to grow in size. Soon the needles shot off Hydranoid’s body into the sky and soon descended heading straight for Wolfurio.

Multiple needles were hitting Wolfurio who was trying to shield himself, but soon they over they overpowered him and he fell onto his back unable to move.

“Hold on Wolfurio, Ability Activate: Royal Light!” Clyde said holding up a card. Wolfurio’s body began to glow, but it quickly died down and caused Clyde to raise an eyebrow.

“What the...Why didn’t it work?” Clyde asked confused.

“Oh did I forget to mention that ‘Poison Needles’ nullifies any abilities you try to activate because I did I’m so sorry.” Lilac said sarcastically.

“Are you Serious?” Clyde asked shocked.

“Oh I’m very serious, Go Hydranoid!” Lilac said. Hydranoid then began charging toward a now paralyzed Wolfurio.

“Clyde do something!” Wolfurio said in pain.

“Don’t worry pal, Gate Card Open: Haos Saver!” Clyde said. Soon the field began glow and the needles that covered Wolfurio began to disappear. With Hydranoid drawing closer, Wolfurio got up and jumped into the air to avoid the attack.

“Oh thank Faust, I thought he wouldn’t survive that one.” Swift said putting a hand over his heart.

“If he didn’t activate his “Haos Saver” card he wouldn’t have, it completely shuts down all of your opponents activated abilities as long as you have a haos bakugan on the field.” Twilight explained.

“He’s hanging in there, but I think Lilac is don playing with him.” Sunset said. Adagio nodded and turned to her partner.

“Get ready to go if things too intense for Clyde.” She whispered.

“Right.” Helios growled.

“Not a bad move, but you just wasted a very useful Gate Card.” Lilac said with a smile.

“I don’t care as long as I keep Wolfurio safe and beat you then nothing else matters.” Clyde said with determination in his voice.

“Ooh~ loyal as well as handsome, whoever this girlfriend of yours is she’s lucky.” Lilac said.

“Thanks... I guess.” Clyde said scratching the back of his head.

“No problem sweetie, but now I think it’s time to end this.” Lilac said.

“What do you mean end this, if you haven’t noticed I’m in the lead right now.” Clyde said.

“Not for long, Triple Ability Activate!” Lilac said holding up three cards.

“WHAT?!” Clyde yelled shocked.

“She can’t do that…..can she?” Soul asked.

“No she can’t, the limit is two ability cards. No Bakugan can handle a triple ability, it puts a major strain on their body.” Twilight said in a worried tone.

“Chaos of the Darkness, plus Dark Ritual, plus Fusion Ability: Lunatic Burst!” Lilac said. After a few seconds, the entire field began to shake and Hydranoid was then covered by a pitch black aura.

“What’s going on?” Wolfurio asked looking around the field.

“The end that’s what.” Hydranoid said in a dark tone. Soon an unnatural storm covered the moon and shot a bolt of lightning at hydranoid causing the black aura around him to grow even larger. Clyde, Wolfurio and the spectators could only watch in horror as Hydranoid’s powers grew even stronger.

“S..S..She pulled it off.” Sour stuttered.

“This is bad, this is really bad.” Rivet said in a worried tone. Clyde couldn’t deny it anymore he was scared and he was genuinely trembling at the sight of Hydranoids power.

“I..I..I can’t...No I can't let her win, Ability Activate-” “Sorry to break it to you Handsome, but you’re wasting your time. ‘Dark Ritual’ prevents you from activating any abilities and since you already used your Gate Card...well you should know what comes next.” Lilac said cutting Clyde off. Clyde then slowly put his card down and had a look of complete despair on his face. Wolfurio wanted to say something to Clyde, but was quickly sent flying into the wall on the arena.

“AHHH!” Wolfurio screamed in pain. Clyde then snapped out of his thoughts and looked to his partner in horror.

“WOLFURIO!” Clyde screamed.

“I can’t watch this.” Sonata said covering her eyes. Adagio then stood up.

“Helios let's go!” She said.

“You got it.” Helios growled.

“You’re not going alone, Rubanoid you ready?” Sunset asked her partner.

“You bet I am.” Rubanoid said. The two girls grabbed their partners and ran down to the field.

“I going with them, Come on Harpus!” Night said following Sunset and Adagio. Back on the battlefield, Hydranoid was charging a huge ball of energy and getting ready to fire it at Wolfurio.

“Well Wolfurio you had a good run, but now it’s time to finish you” Hydranoid said. Wolfurio didn’t speak, all he did was stand up and look at Hydranoid with a serious look.

“Come on Clyde think, there's gotta be something I can do…..Of course how could I forget that.” Clyde thought as he raised his right arm revealing the same watch like device that Warhawk has, but this one was white and yellow. Clyde the pressed three buttons and spoke into the device. “Baku-Nano: Lanzato, Destroy!” He said. After a few seconds, both of Wolfurio’s hands began to glow and soon he was holding a spear and shield.

Hydranoid: 1500

“A bakunano impressive but, it still won't be enough. Hydranoid end this please.” Lilac said.

“With pleasure!” Hydranoid said releasing the massive energy ball from it's mouth . Woflufio raised his shield and took the attack head on, but it was slowly overpowering him.

“Hold on Wolfurio!” Clyde said.

“I’ll hold Clyde, I’ll hold.” Wolfurio said trying his best to stand his ground.

“Just give it up, you and your pathetic excuse for a partner are finished.” Hydranoid said with a dark chuckle.

“I..won’t stop...until..I...put you ..down!” Wolfurio said struggling to hold back the ball of energy.

“I’d like to see you try!” Hydranoid said releasing a stream of fire from his mouth. Clyde knew what was going to happen next.

“If that fire hit’s the ball it’s over. I can’t activate any abilities, I used my only Gate Card and the Baku-Nano is about to give. I..I can’t win there’s nothing I can do, I GOT NOTHING!” Clyde screamed in his head.

“Bakugan Brawl!” Clyde then turned to see Adagio, Sunset and Night throwing their partners onto the field.

“Rise Pyrus Helios.” Adagio said.

“Let’s go, Pyrus Rubanoid.” Sunset said.

“Come on, Ventus Harpus” Night said.

All three Bakugan transformed and were soon replaced by their true forms. Helios was a red and black dragon-like Bakugan with spikes covering its arms and shoulders while hardened rumpled skin that protects its legs. Horns point in both directions of it’s head and colossal red wings on his back.

Rubanoid was also a dragon-like bakugan except that it’s entire body was made of red and yellow rubies.

Harpus was as her name implied a large feathered Harpy-type Bakugan with green and yellow hair, a tan shirt and skirt and sharp talons.

“Hold on Wolfurio, were coming!” Harpus said as she, Helios and Rubanoid were flying toward him.

“Well I don’t think that’s very fair.” Lilac said crossing her arms

“When you mess with one of our friends, the rules are null and void. Ability Active: Burst Core!” Adagio said holding up a card. Helios flew right in front of stream of fire blocked it with his bare claws.

The ball of energy disappeared allowing Wolfurio to rest for a few seconds.

“You ok?” Helios asked.

“Yes ..Thank you.” Wolfurio said.

“Enough talk, let’s take this guy down.” Rubanoid said.

“Yea let’s!” Harpus said flying toward Hydranoid. “You think you can stop me?” Hydranoid asked in a cocky tone.

“I don’t think I know!” Harpus said.

“We'll see about that, Ability Activate: Violet Nightmare.” Lilac said holding up a card. Hydranoid was then covered in a violet aura and vanished in an instant.

Hydranoid soon appeared behind Harpus and slammed her into the arena wall with his tail.

“Harpus, you ok?” Night asked worried about his partner.

“Yea I’m fine just give me a minute.” Harpus said weakly.

"You’ll pay for that, Adagio let’s teach him a lesson.” Helios growled.

“Let’s, Double Ability Activate: General Quasar, plus Fusion Ability: Omega!” Adagio said holding up two cards. Helios began to inhale and then released a large ball of fire from his mouth.

Hydranoid turned around only to be hit by the ball of fire and fall to the ground.

“Haha How do you like that Lilac, Looks like you’re partner is on the ropes.” Adagio said with a cocky smile. Lilac just looked at Adagio with a smile and began to laugh. Everyone was both scared and confused by this.

“Oh forgive me, I just didn’t think I would have this much fun. To be honest I expected one of the element bearers to intervene, but I didn’t expect one of the infamous sirens to intervene as well.” Lilac said causing Sunset and Adagio to look at her with wide eyes.

“How do you know about the Elements?” Sunset asked confused.

“And how do you know about me and my sisters?” Adagio asked equally confused.

“I think I’ll keep that a secret for now.” Lilac said with a smirk.

“Ok this girl is really starting to piss me off.” Adagio said glaring at Lilac.

“Calm down Dazzle, we need to end this battle now.” Clyde said.

“Clyde’s right, we can’t hold anything back." Sunset said.

“Right, Harpus get ready.” Night said.

“You got it Night.” Harpus said getting up.

“Come on Wolfurio, I know you still got at least one good attack left.” Rubanoid said.

“Yea I do, let’s do this.” Wolfurio said.

“Then stop talking and start attacking.” Helios growled. The others nodded and faced Hydranoid who was starting to get up.

“You’ll pay for that.” He growled.

“In your dreams Hydranoid, Clyde let’s start off.” Wolfurio said.

“You got it pal, Ability Activate: Spear Aegis!” Clyde said. Wolfurio’s spear began to glow and he then began charging toward Hydranoid.

“We’re up next Rubanoid, Ability Active: Joule Deeper” Sunset said. Rubanoid began to and then released a bright red laser from his mouth.

“No mercy Helios, Ability Activate: Maximum Quasar! Adagio said. Helios opened his mouth and released a large torrent of fire from his mouth.

“Harpus let's join in the Fun, Ability Activate: Aerial Twister!” Night said. Harpus began flying toward Hydranoid and began to spin create a small tornado.

“This is awesome, there is no way Lilac can catch up up.” Rainbow said fist pumping.

“I know she's twenty-one hundred points behind.” Twilight said with a smile.

“GO CLYDE, GO DAGI, GO NIGHT, GO SHIMMY!” Pinkie and Sonata cheered. Everyone on else in the arena cheered as well hoping that Lilac was finally finished.

“So Lilac, any last words?” Adagio asked with a smirk.

“Oh I sure do, oh Blueblood~!” Adagio raised an eyebrow at what she said and then heard an annoyingly familiar voice.

“Let’s go Subterra Dryoid, Bakugan Brawl! Soon after hearing that, a bakugan ball was thrown out onto the field and was soon replaced by what looked like a robot ninja.

“What the hell is that!?” Night asked shocked.

“That would be my partner Subterra Dryoid.” Everyone one looked to see Blueblood walking over to Lilac.

Wolfurio, Rubanoid, Harpus and Helios: 3000
Hydranoi and Dryoid: 900+900=1800

“Nice of you to join me Blood, now if you would be so kind as to stop the battle.” Lilac said to him.

“As you wish Mistress Lilac.” Blueblood said with a bow.

“Mistress?” Clyde said with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh nothing you need to worry about handsome, this was a really fun battle and I look forward to our next one.” Lilac said blowing a kiss at Clyde who blushed once again.

“Ability Activate: Zero Resolve!” Blueblood said holding a card up. Dryoid then raised his fist and punched the ground causing a massive earthquake and returning all the bakugan on the field to their owners hands.

“What did you do Blueballs?” Sunset asked angrily.

“I just activated the ‘Zero Resolve’ Ability, it's a rare ability that returns all bakugan to their owners hands and drops all players life to zero.” Blueblood said with a chuckle.

“I never knew a card like that existed.” Night said. Lilac giggled a bit.

“Ok I've had my fun.” Lilac said snapping her fingers and as she did the moon in the sky disappeared and the sky was back to normal.

“Shall me go mistress?” Blueblood asked.

“Yes we shall, goodbye everyone.” Lilac said as she and Blueblood began to walk away.

“Hold on Lilac!” Clyde said. Lilac turned to Clyde and Smiled.

“Yes handsome.” She said.

“Why are you doing this, the bakugan are living creatures. Why are you killing them and how can Hydranoid be ok with killing his own kind?” Clyde asked demanding answers. Hydranoid then jumped onto Lilac’s shoulder.

“You wouldn't understand and besides it's not like you can stop is. I feed of the life energy of every bakugan I send to the Doom Dimension, it makes me stronger.” Hydranoid said in a dark tone.

“There's is more to this than you think, but I think I'll keep that a secret for now. See you soon Clyde.” With that Lilac and Blueblood disappeared is a bright flash of light.

“What did she mean by there's more to this than we think?” Sunset asked.

“Not sure, but I’m going to find out.” Clyde said with a determined look on his face.

“We’ll find out.” Sunset said.

Lilac and Blueblood both appeared in a large room and were greeted by Dr. Rex.

“So how did it go?” He asked.

“You’re asking as if you don’t know.” Lilac said sitting down in a chair. Dr. Rex chuckled.

“Yes I was monitoring the Battle and I must say that boy really gave you a run for your money.” He said.

“Yea~ he’s an amazing brawler.” Lilac said with a smile on her face.

“Aww looks little Lilacs got a crush.” Blueblood said in a teasing tone.

“So what if I do?” Lilac said glaring at Blueblood.

“No arguing you two, right now we have work to do. Blueblood did you do what I told you to do before helping Lilac?” Dr. Rex asked.

"Yes Doctor, I’ve found the perfect candidates to help us with our cause.” Blueblood said.

“Good work bring them to me and soon our master will be reborn.” Dr. Rex said with a sinister smile on his face.

“Yes Doctor.” Blueblood said before leaving the room.

“That guy may be irritating, but he’s dependable for what you need.” Lilac said.

“Yes he is useful, for now anyway.” Dr. Rex said.

“So what’s our next move going to be?” Lilac asked.

“Well now that the Element Bearers know of you and your powers, they’re probably going to start interfering with our plans. So I want you, Blueblood and the new recruits to make sure that doesn’t happen.” Dr. Rex said.

“Yes Doctor, Hydranoid are you ready to have some fun?” Lilac asked her partner.

“I’m ready when you are.” Hydranoid said. With that Lilac began to walk out of the room.

“The more we battle Hydranoid, the closer you are to evolving.” Lilac said with a smile.

“If Blueblood didn’t stop the battle I might have evolved.” Hydranoid growled.

“Cool down, you’ll have your chance my dear partner and soon our goal will be achieved.” Lilac said.

“Yes Mistress.” Hydranoid said. Lilac then began to giggle.

“Soon Master Naga will be reborn.”

After Clyde and Lilac’s battle ended, Principal Celestia decided to postpone the competition until further notice. After everyone left the school, the Rainboom, The Dazzlings, The Shadow 5 and the PomE Boys all met in the gym to discuss what happened today. Since Fluttershy, Straight and Rarity all missed the battle today, Twilight gave a very specific recap for the three.

“SHE DID WHAT!?” Rarity screamed in anger.

“Calm down Diamond Head.” Artemis said trying to calm Rarity down.

“This Lilac girl not only battle and almost beat Clyde, but she had the nerve to FLIRT with him and you expect me to CALM DOWN!!” Rarity yelled in Artemis’s face.

“Yes I do because we have more important things to worry about Rarity and we don’t have time for this.” Artemis said in a stern tone. Rarity glared at Artemis for a few seconds before taking a deep breath.

“You’re right, from what you all have told me this Lilac girl kills Bakugan correct?” Rarity asked.

“That right, she uses something called a ‘Doom Card’ to alter the battlefield.” Twilight said.

“How could she be so cruel?” Fluttershy asked quietly.

“I have a better question, how is she so strong?” Rainbow asked.

“Rainbow’s right it took a total of four Bakugan to even put a scratch on her Bakugan.” Swift said.

“Not only that, Hydranoid was able to use Triple Ability and that shouldn’t be possible.” Twilight said.

“That just proves how powerful Hydranoid really is, even Helios’s power wasn’t enough.” Adagio said crossing her arms. Helios then jumped onto her shoulder.

“Hydranoid is powerful, but how is it the this Lilac has the same power as him?” Helios asked.

“That’s what I was wondering.” Sunset said.

“Do you think she’s from Equestria?” Straight asked. “I doubt it the girl was leaking dark magic, but it wasn’t Equestrian.” Aria said. Just then a black and purple ball jumped onto Aria’s shoulder and transformed. It looked like a knight similar to Wolfurio only it only had gold horns and bat wings.

“You’re right in that regard Aria.” The dark knight said.

“What do you mean Linehalt?” Aria asked her partner. Everyone’s turned their attention to Linehalt.

“As you all know, we bakugan have our own unique powers and Abilities. Everytime we battle our power increases, however there is only so much we can do alone.” Linehalt said.

“What do you mean?” Warhawk asked.

“You see alone we bakugan are powerful, but with our partners we’re unstoppable” Linehalt said. Everyone seemed confused by this, but then a light bulb went off in Adagio’s head.

“I get it you’re saying that we can tap into the potential of our partners, is that right?” Adagio asked.

“Correct Miss Dazzle, battlers and their bakugan are connected by a bond known as the ‘Switch Code’. While a Bakugan can battle with anyone, it's only with our bonded partner can we maximize our potential.” Linehalt explained. This got everyone in the room thinking.

“So you’re saying you guy’s can be more powerful than you already are, but you can only do it with our help?” Rainbow asked.

“Ok so now that we have this info, what do we do with it?” Zero asked.

“That’s easy, we all have to find partner bakugan so we can battle Lilac head on without worrying too much.” Pinkie said smiling.

“Pinkie that's….absolutely right.” Sunset said a bit shocked. “So how do we find our bonded partners anyway?” Indigo asked.

“It’s not that simple, you see your partner has to find you.” Linehalt said.

“Well that doesn’t help the situation.” Sour Sweet said glaring at Linehalt.

“Watch it Sour, Linehalt’s trying to help us and your negativity is not helping.” Aria said glaring at her.

“And I’m thankful for the info he’s given us.” Sour Sweet said in a cheery tone. Before anything else could be said Eclipse got up from his seat and began to leave.

“Hey, where are you going Eclipse?” Midnight asked. He didn’t answer and walked out the door.

“What’s his problem?” Rainbow asked.

“Well Lilac did beat him pretty bad and not only that she sent both of his best bakugan to the Doom Dimension. I’d be down too of that happened to me.” Quill said looking down.

“Just give him some space he’ll bounce back, he always does.” Artemis said. Everyone nodded except for Midnight who couldn’t help but worry about her boyfriend.

After everyone went left the school, The Humane seven all headed to Pinkie’s house to discuss things further.

“So what do we do now?” Rainbow said laying on her sleeping bag.

“Well I think we should go with Pinkie’s plan to find our bonded partners.” Twilight said.

“B..but Linehalt said that they have to find us.” Fluttershy said quietly.

“Ah but you forget Fluttershy, there are three of us here who have our partners.” Rarity said. Just then Coredem, Rubanoid and Strikeflier jumped onto Applejack’s, Sunset’s and Twilight’s shoulders.

“She’s right Fluttershy and we might be able to help you all find your partners.” Coredem said.

“We have a lot of friends that live both on Earth and in New Vestroia, I’m sure some of them could help us.” Rubanoid said.

“Wait does that mean we’re actually going to New Vestroia?” Applejack asked.

“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves girls, New Vestroia is still uncharted territory.” Twilight said.

“Then let’s make it charted territory besides, I’ve always wanted to see what New Vestroia was like.” Rainbow said with a smile.

“I have to agree with Twilight on this one, let's not go to New Vestroia unless we really need to. Rubanoid you said you had friends here right, would you mind taking us to meet them?” Sunset asked her partner.

“Of course we can go tomorrow morning.” Rubanoid said.

“Sweet I can't wait!” Rainbow said fist pumping.

“There’s just one thing I don't get, how does she know about the Elements?” Applejack asked. Everyone just looked at one another and realized that AJ was right, how did she know about the Elements.

“Maybe you should call that Princess friend of yours, she might have a few answers for us and she could give us a hand with this girl.” Strikeflier suggested.

“That’s actually a good idea, we’re going to need all that help he can get this time.” Sunset said pulling a book out of her bag.

“You think she’ll answer this time?” Pinkie asked.

“I hope so, we need her this time.” Sunset said as she finished writing her letter. After a few minutes, the book began to glow and vibrate.

“Wow that was quick.” Applejack said.

“After what happened last time, I bet she keeps the book very close to her.” Rarity said. Sunset opened the book and began to read aloud.

“Sunset I’m sorry to say that the girl you described isn’t familiar to me, but I can tell you all are in danger. I’ll meet you all in front of the School tomorrow morning at eleven-thirty.” As Sunset finished, she turned to her friends and smiled.

“Well she’s coming tomorrow, that’s some good news.” She said.

“Yes, but we still don’t know anything about Lilac.” Rarity said crossing her arms.

“To be honest I could care less about who she is, I say we just focus on taking her down.” Applejack said. Everyone nodded in agreement and began to get ready for bed.

Dazzling’s mansion

When Adagio, Aria and Sonata got home, they immediately sat in their living room for about twenty minutes in silence.

“Ok I’ll say it, today was insane.” Aria said looking down.

“Oh good I thought we’d be sitting here in silence for the rest of the day.” Sonata said sighing in relief.

“Aria’s right today was insane and that Lilac girl didn’t make it any better.” Adagio said.

“Don’t even mention her, that girl gives me the creeps.” Aria said crossing her arms.

“We have to talk about her eventually Ari, she knows who we are and that’s really bad.” Sonata said.

“She’s right Aria, this girl has abilities we’ve never seen before and we need to do something about her.” Adagio said in a serious tone.

“Why do we have to do something, let the Rainbooms handle it like they always do.” Aria said.

“Aria did you not feel the power coming off of that girl, the Rainbooms are out of their league they need help and you know it.” Adagio said glaring at her sister. Aria hated to admit it, but Adagio was right.

“Ugh fine, but I doubt we’ll be much help and I for one don’t want to lose Linehalt.” Aria said. Just then Helios, Akwimos and Linehalt jumped onto the living room table.

“You don’t have to worry about me so much Aria.” Linehalt said.

“I know...but seeing Anchorsaur and Hammersaur getting sent to the Doom Dimension and seeing how much pain Wolfurio was in during his battle with her, I just don’t want you to have to go through that.” Aria said looking down.

“Aww so there is a heart under all that grumpy.” Akwimos said.

“Shut up!” Aria said looking away. Linehalt then jumped onto Aria’s shoulder.

“I’m glad you care so much about me Aria, but our friends need us. We can't just sit by and let this girl do as she pleases.” He said.

“I know and you’re right, so what are we going to do?” Aria asked. Akwimos then jumped onto Sonata’s shoulder.

“Well I say we do some training, that Hydranoid is powerful and I'd rather not be at a disadvantage should I have to battle the dude.” He said.

“I'm with Akwimos, I think training will do is some good.” Sonata said smiling.

“Agreed, shall we sisters.” Adagio said holding up a card. Aria and Sonata held up their cards with smiles on their faces.

FIELD OPEN!

As soon as that phrase was said, a big circle appeared underneath the three sisters and they were soon engulfed by the light and began to disappear. After a few seconds, the Dazzlings appeared in the Colosseum.

“So how are we going to do this?” Aria asked.

“A three-way battle royal obviously.” Sonata said smiling.

“Let’s go then sisters, Gate Card Set!” Adagio said throwing a card onto the field.

Soul’s house

“So we're going to do something about her right?” Soul asked.

“What are we supposed to do, that girl is way too strong.” Night said looking down.

“Night’s right, she almost took Wolfurio away from me. I don’t know what I would have done if that happened.” Clyde said in a somber tone. Zero then put a hand on Clyde’s shoulder.

“Hey come on man, you can’t give up like that. You and Wolfurio did your best-” “AND MY BEST WASN’T GOOD ENOUGH!” Clyde screamed in anger cutting Zero off. The boys were shocked, they had never seen Clyde act this way before.

“Clyde you need to calm down.” Rivet said.

“You expect me to calm down after what that girl almost did to my partner.” Clyde said glaring at Rivet.

“GET A GRIP! Did you lose Wolfurio, no you didn’t. Are you and he still a together, yes you are. So stop thinking about what could have happened and focus on what you’re going to do next.” Rivet said glaring back at Clyde. Swift, Soul, Zero and Night were about to step in, but Clyde then turned around and punched the wall.

“Clyde..” Soul said with concern in his voice.

“I’m sorry, but….I have to go.” With that Clyde grabbed his stuff and left.

“Poor guy.” Swift said. Rivet just crossed his arms and looked away from everyone.

“So much for our fearless leader.” He said.

“Rivet that’s enough, can’t you see he’s trying to get over this? We need to help him.” Swift said.

“Oh please the guy’s being a wuss. You don’t see Eclipse crying or complaining.” Rivet said.

“He’s taking it even worse, did you even see his face when he lost to Lilac he was crushed. I can only imagine what's going through his mind right now.” Zero said glaring at Rivet.

“He’s right Rivet, they’re both hurting right now and you’re acting as if you don’t care. Seriously what is wrong with you, can you at least show a shred of sympathy?” Soul asked also glaring at Rivet. Rivet looked to his friends and sighed.

“Look I am worried about this Lilac girl too, but up getting upset isn’t going to help the situation. I get that Clyde and Eclipse are hurting, but they need to move past it and get it together.” Rivet said.

“That’s easier said than done Rivet.” Zero said.

“I get that, but still if we’re going to fight this girl we can’t start doubting ourselves. We have to keep our calm and cool.” Rivet said. Soul and Zero’s faces softened after hearing Rivets words.

“You’re right we need to stay calm.” Zero said looking down. Night and Swift were relieved that this argument was over.

“Yea, sorry man.” Soul said also looking down. “It’s fine I know you guys are worried, sorry for being so cold.” Rivet said.

“It’s cool pal, you were just thinking of the team.” Zero said. Soul nodded in agreement.

“So what now?” Night said finally speaking up. “What Linehalt said we should do, find our partner bakugan.” Swift said. The boys all nodded in agreement and decided to call it a night.

“Dr.Rex, I’ve brought the new recruits.” Blueblood said. Dr.Rex turned around to see four people standing behind Blueblood. The first was a young man with spiky gray hair, pale mint skin and he was wearing a Crystal Prep uniform. The second was another young man with light blue skin and dark blue hair. He was also wearing a Crystal Prep uniform. Third was another boy with silver eyes and hair. He had brown skin and he was wearing a blue hoodie, gray pants and white sneakers. The fourth boy had light brown skin, Bronze grey hair and was also wearing a Crystal Prep uniform.

“Allow me it introduce Neon Lights, Ledger, Noteworthy and IIfrit.” Blueblood said. Dr.Rex approached the four young men.

“Good work Blueblood, I can tell they’re a capable lot.” He said.

“Thank you doctor..Hey where’s Lilac?” Blueblood asked. Before he could get an answer, Lilac walked into the room.

“Even a dark master needs her beauty sleep Blueblood. So these are our new teammates?” She asked stretching her arms. Noteworthy then stepped up to Lilac and smiled at her.

“Yes we are and who might you be?” He asked. Lilac smiled at him.

“I’m Lilac Steele, your leader and you're not my type.” She said. Blueblood and the rest of the boys began to laugh at Noteworthy who in turn just looked away with a blush on his face. Dr.Rex pinched the bridge of his nose.

“Teenagers.” He said under his breath.

“Now this is a way to start off a team meeting.” Neon said still laughing.

“Got that right.” IIfrit said. “So now that we’re all here, would you mind explaining why you need us?” Ledger asked.

“That’s the easy part my friend, you see a long time ago there was a mighty Bakugan named Naga and he was on the verge of ruling both New Vestroia and Earth, but another bakugan with power equal to his was standing in the way of that. The two of them battled for days, but it was Naga who suffered defeat and was utterly destroyed. The Bakugan that defeated Naga then went on to turn New Vestroia into what it is today. Our goal is to revive Master Naga.” Lilac said smiling at her teammates.

“You want our help to revive an evil Bakugan, for what reason could you possibly want to revive him.” Ledger asked with a raised eyebrow. Dr.Rex stepped forward.

“For one Master Naga has immense power at his disposal, he has the potential to make anything happen and this time that bakugan that stopped him all those years ago is dead and gone.” He said.

“Ok so what’s in it for us?” Neon asked. Blueblood then smiled and spoke up.

“Well you see there are certain people that might stand in our way, The Rainbooms, those three Sirens, the Shadowbolts, and their boyfriends. I believe you all except for IIfrit has history with them.” He said. Noteworthy put a hand of a certain part of his chest and growled, Neon and Ledger just smiled deviously, IIfrit just raised an eyebrow. Lilac noticed this and walked up to IIfrit.

“I can see you’re confused, let’s just say the other boys have had bad experiences with the Rainbooms and their friends.” She said. IIfrit nodded.

“So when do start?” Neon asked. Dr.Rex then walked over to table and picked up a small box.

“You start right now.” He said opening the box, only to reveal four Doom Cards and four Bakugan balls.

“These will be your new partner bakugan, for Ledger Pyrus Bolcanon, for Noteworthy Haos Lumagrowl, for Neon Ventus Altair and for IIfrit Aquos Ballista. These Bakugan will aid you in our mission, I hope they’re all to your liking.” Dr.Rex said with a sinister smile. They boys all took their respective bakugan and smiled as well. Hydranoid then jumped onto Lilac’s shoulder.

“And so it begins.” He said.

“That it does my faithful partner." Lilac said with a dark chuckle.

“Ugh, where is she?” Rainbow asked as she and the other girls were waiting for Princess Twilight in front of the portal.

“Calm down Rainbow, it’s only been five minutes.” Rarity said while she was painting her nails.

“Yea Dash chill.” Applejack said.

“I just want her to get her so we can deal with this Lilac girl already.” Rainbow said crossing her arms.

“I know how you feel Dash, but even if Twilight’s here I doubt it will be that easy to beat her.” Sunset said. Rubanoid then jumped onto Sunset’s shoulder.

“She’s right Rainbow and you all still need to find your bonded partners.” He said.

“I know it’s just...ugh!” Rainbow said putting her hands on her head. Coredom then jumped onto Applejack’s shoulder. “Rainbow cool down, it’s no use getting upset.” He said. Fluttershy then went over to Rainbow and put a hand on her shoulder.

“Rainbow, are you worried we won’t beat her?” Fluttershy asked. Everyone was shocked by what Fluttershy said.

“What, no! What gave you that idea?” Rainbow asked.

“Rainbow don't lie to me, I know you.” Fluttershy said sternly. Rainbow just looked away and grumbled under her breath. Before anything else could be said the portal began to ripple.

“Whoa, ouch! Not to self: throw a big pillow through before crossing over myself.” Princess Twilight said rubbing her head. Everyone turn to see the Princess of Friendship on the ground with a about three bag and a few books.

“Oh Twilight dear, are you alright?” Rarity said helping Twilight up.

“Yea I’m fine and sorry I’m late.” Twilight said.

“It’s fine Sugarcube.” Applejack said. Twilight nodded, but before she could say anything she was being crushed by Pinkie.

“Oh it’s so good to see you Twilight, even though i see you everyday.” Pinkie said giving Twilight a bear hug.

“I….it’s good...to see...you to….Pinkie...now can...you let ...go?” Twilight said trying to breath. Pinkie realized that her friend was turning blue and released her.

“Sorry.” Pinkie said with a sheepish smile.

“It’s fine, now let’s get down to business. Tell me about this Lilac character.” Twilight said. Sci-Twi walked up to her counterpart.

“We don’t know that much about her, she just appeared out of nowhere and according to Sunset she was leaking dark magic.” Sci-Twi said. Just then Strikeflier jumped onto Sci-Twi’s shoulder.

“That’s not all her partner Hydranoid was just as bad, he was ruthless.” Strikeflier said. Twilight put a hand to her chin.

“That does sound like a problem, Sunset tell me how bad it was.” She said.

“I can’t even explain it, let’s just say we’re going to need more than our instruments this time around.” Sunset said looking down.

“The only way we can possibly defeat her is if we beat her in a brawl….which is going to be very difficult.” Rarity said.

“What do you mean?” Twilight asked with a confused look on her face. The girls all looked down to the ground.

“Well you see, this girl has the power to kill other bakugan.” Sunset said. Princess Twilight face went from confused to horrified.

“S..she kills bakugan?” Princess Twilight asked in shock. The girls nodded and Twilight just looked to the ground.

“How could she, doesn’t she know the bakugan are living creatures? She can’t just go around killing them like they’re nothing.” Twilight said getting angry.

“Simmer down Sugarcube.” Applejack said putting a hand on Twilight’s shoulder.

“Sorry but, how could she so cruel?” Twilight asked looking down.

“That’s what I asked.” Fluttershy said quietly. Twilight took a deep breath and looked at the girls with determination in her eyes. “Alright, I understand the situation and I’ll do everything I can to help.” Twilight said. The girls all smiled at her and nodded.

“Alright first thing we need to do is find Rubanoid’s friend and ask him about finding our bonded partners. Rubanoid you mind telling us where to go and who exactly this friend of yours is?” Sunset asked.

“Of course, his name is Professor Ventus Worton. He’s an bakugan elder and also my former teacher.” Rubanoid said.

“I’ve heard of Professor Worton before, he was once an evil Bakugan before the legendary dragon defeated him and spared his life.” Coredom said.

“That right he was, but after his battle with the Legendary dragon he devoted his life to teaching and mentoring others.” Rubanoid said.

“Um if you don’t mind me asking, who is the legendary dragon?” Fluttershy asked.

“I’d like to know myself.” Sci-Twi said.

“If I’m going to tell this story, we’re going to have to do it while we’re walking. Professor Worton lives at Canterlot Town Hall with is partner Mayor Mare.” Rubanoid said.

“Wait, he’s partners with the Mayor?” Rainbow asked.

“Yes he is, now let’s get moving.” Rubanoid said. Everyone nodded and began walking.

“So you were telling us about the legendary dragon, what actually is the story behind him?” Twilight asked. Coredom was the one to answer the question.

“The legendary dragon is...well was New Vestroia’s guardian deity, he was the most powerful bakugan in existence and his name was Pyrus Infinity Dragonoid.” Coredom said.

“He had saved our world many times in the past, he was wise, strategic and very kind to others.” Rubanoid said.

“But one day that all changed, A dark bakugan named Darkus Silent Naga challenged the legendary dragon to a fight. He wanted to rule New Vestroia and take the power of the Legendary dragon to do it.” Coredom said.

“Let me guess, this Naga guy got his butt kick, right?” Rainbow asked.

“Actually no, Naga was on par with the legendary dragon’s power.” Coredom said shocking everyone.

“The two of them fought for days, neither one giving in until one of them put the other in the dirt.” Rubanoid said. Everyone shuddered at the mere thought of seeing a battle like that.

“So who won out on the end?” Sunset asked.

“The Legendary dragon had won the battle, but his last attack took the last of his strength and he died taking Naga with him.” Rubanoid said in a somber tone. After hearing this, the girls all had shocked looks on their faces.

“Oh my gosh.” Rarity said putting a hand on her head.

“He didn't even hesitate to sacrifice his own life for the safety of his people, that's a real hero there.” Applejack said taking her hat off in respect for the dragon.

“Agreed.” Twilight said with a smile.

“What happened after that?” Pinkie asked.

“Well you see-” “Hey guys, we’re here.” Rainbow said cutting Rubanoid off. Everyone turned to see they were right in front of Canterlot town Hall.

“We’ll continue this later, right now let’s get down to business.” Rubanoid said. Everyone nodded and proceeded to enter the building. Upon entering, the girls made their way to the front desk.

“Excuse me, is Mayor Mare available right now.” Sunset asked the lady working behind the desk. The lady looks up to see the girls.

“I'm sorry girls, she's in a meeting right now.” She said.

“Ok..um..what about Professor Worton, is he in?” Sunset said.

“One second girls.” The lady said before picking up a phone.

“Professor Worton, there are some young girls and their bakugan partners who want to speak with you…….ok...yes sir, thank you. The professor will see you now, just go down the hall and it's the fourth door on the left.” The lady said pointing down the hall.

“Thank you, come on guys.” Sunset said leading everyone down the hall. Once they made it to the professor’s office, Sunset was the one who knocked on the door.

“You may enter.” A voice behind the door said. Sunset opened the door and the girls entered. Upon entering, the looked around to see that the professor’s office was nothing more than a mini Library.

“AHH! A LIBRARY!” Twilight and Sci-Twi squealed. Everyone just rolled their eyes.

“Wow, you two really are the same person.” Rainbow said. Twilight and Sci-Twi glared at Rainbow.

“Excuse me ladies can I help you?” The girls looked forward to see a Ventus bakugan ball in front of them. It then transformed into what looked like Phoenix.

“Are you Professor Worton, by any chance?” Sci-Twi asked.

“No I’m not, my name is Ventus Skyress. I’m Professor Worton’s assistant as well as his student.” The Bakugan now known as Skyress said. Strikeflier then jumped onto Sci-Twi’s shoulder.

“Skyress, is that you?” He asked.

“Strikeflier, my goodness. How long has it been old friend?” Skyress asked him.

“Strikeflier, you know her.” Sci-Twi asked.

“Yes I do, Skyress and I have known each other for a long time now. She was my old sparring partner back in New Vestroia.” Strikeflier said.

“And every time he would lose.” Skyress said with a chuckle.

“Did you have to mention that?” Strikeflier said in a depressed tone. The girls giggled seeing Strikeflier like this.

“Yes I did, now you said you girls were looking for professor Worton correct?” Skyress asked.

“Yes Ma’am, we kinda need his help.” Applejack said.

“Of course, follow me.” Skyress said lead the girls through the small library.

“So many books, I wish I had an office like this.” Sci-Twi said.

“Me too, I mean I have my own Library, but this is way more impressive.” Twilight said. Sci-Twi did a double take.

“You have your own Library?” She asked. “Yup, I have 300 shelves filled up in my castle.” Twilight said with a smile.

“If I ever go to Equestria, you have to show me.” Sci-Twi said smiling back at her.

“Oh great, the eggheads are bonding.” Rainbow said. Both Twilights glared at their rainbow haired friend.

“Here we are, Professor we have guests.” Skyress said. The girls looked on to see another Ventus bakugan ball that looked like a lizard with two tails.

“Ah yes, I’ve been expecting you all. I am Professor Worton, it’s a pleasure to meet you all.” The professor said.

“You as well Professor.” Sunset said befor Rubanoid jumped onto her shoulder.

“Hello Professor, Long time no see.” He said.

“Do my eyes deceive me, Rubanoid is that you?” Worton asked.

“You bet teach, it's nice to see you again.” Rubanoid said with a bow.

“You as well my friend, who are these people with you?” Worton asked.

“This is my partner Sunset and her friends.” Rubanoid said gesturing to Sunset and the others.

“It’s a pleasure to meet to Professor.” Sunset said with a smile.

“A pleasure to meet you and your friends as well.” Worton said.

“Look I'm all for introductions and all, but we kinda have business to attend to.” Rainbow said wanting to get to the point.

“Rainbow Dash, don't be rude.” Rarity said. Skyress then floated over to Rainbow.

“She right miss, didn't anyone teach you any manners.” She said. Before Rainbow could reply, the professor spoke up.

“Now Skyress be nice, now what is it you all need?” Worton asked.

“Alright boys, I've located the Element Bearers.” Dr. Rex said looking at a monitor.

“Sweet, so who's going first?” Neon asked.

“I will, me and Altair want a little action.” Neon said getting excited.

“Sorry Neon, but IIfrit will be the one going.” Blueblood said with a smile.

“Aww what, why him?” Neon complained.

“That’s a good question, why me? IIfrit asked.

“Because Lilac thinks you need practice and I think you going against one of the bearers would be good practice for you.” Blueblood said.

“If you say so, you ready Balista?” IIfrit asked his partner. Ballista jumped onto IIfrit’s shoulder.

“You bet, let's see what these little girls are made of.” Balista said. IIfrit then held up his doom card and after a few seconds he was gone in a bright flash of light.

“It should have been me.” Neon pouted.

“Don’t worry Neon because I sending you on another mission.” Blueblood said looking at another monitor.

“What kind of mission?” Neon asked.

“I see a brawler who is quite down in the dumps, go and lift his spirits will you?” Blueblood said with a sinister smirk. Neon looked at the monitor and saw Clyde sitting on a bench in the park.

“Oh I see, you can count on me.” Neon said before holding up his Doom Card and disappearing.

Canterlot Town Hall.

“I see, this is most troubling indeed.” Worton said after hearing the Rainboom’s story.

“Please Professor, we need your help.” Rubanoid pleaded.

“Of course, I'm willing to help anyway I can.” Worton said.

“Well the first thing we need help with is finding our bonded partners.” Pinkie said with a smile.

“I understand and I think I can help you out with that. You see you must-” “Excuse me, I’m looking for the Battle Brawlers.” A voice said cutting off the Professor. Everyone turned to see a boy about there age behind them.

“Who are you and how did you get in here?” Skyress asked in a stern tone.

“Forgive me for intruding, but I was just looking for some people. Are you girls the Bakugan Battle Brawlers?” The boy asked. The girls looked at one another and Rarity was the one that spoke up.

“Yes that’s us, can we help you dear?” She asked.

“Well yes actually, I wish to has a battle with one of you.” He said with a small smile. The girls were taken aback by the boys challenge.

“Um sorry kid, but we kinda have something to take care of. You think we can reschedule this?” Rainbow said.

“Aww that stinks, I wanted to test this new card I was given.” The boy then pulled out a card from his pocket.

“I’m sure you all have seen it before.” He said as showed the girls the card.

“Holy crap!” Rainbow said in shock. The boy was holding a Doom Card.

“Where did you get that kid?” Applejack asked in a serious tone.

“My boss gave it to me and she sends her regards.” The boy said with a sinister smile.

“Hold on you work for Lilac?” Twilight asked with a glare.

“Allow me to introduce myself. My name is IIfrit, my boss sent me to take care of all of you.” The boy now known as IIfrit said pointing at the girls.

“You wanna go tough guy, then bring it!” Rainbow said stepping forward.

“Wait Dash, not on your own.” Fluttershy said putting a hand on her friend's shoulder.

“Fluttershy's right Rainbow, we have a better chance if we him battle together.” Sci-Twi said as she and the other girls pulled out their field cards.

“What’s wrong Rainbow, afraid to take me on yourself?” IIfrit taunted. Rainbow growled at that little crack.

“Cool down Rainbow, don’t let him bait you!” Sunset said. Rainbow then took a deep breath and stepped forward.

“Fine, you want a battle you got one.” She said.

“Dashie, are you sure about this?” Pinkie asked in a worried tone.

“Oh yeah, someone needs to show this guy he’s on the wrong side and I’m just the one to do it.” Rainbow said. Skyress looked at Rainbow with interest.

“The girl may be a bit reckless, but she has guts.” She thought to herself.

“Well what are we waiting for, let’s go!” IIfrit said holding up his card. Rainbow and the girls all did the same.

“Well this should be interesting.” Worton said to himself.

FIELD OPEN!!!

As soon as that phrase was said, a big circle appeared underneath the girls and IIfrit and started glow. Those outside of the circle all started to move in slow motion until they all just stopped, while those in the circle were being engulfed by the light and began to disappear. After a few seconds, the girls and IIfrit appeared in the colosseum. Rainbow and IIfrit were standing across from each other on the field and the rest were or sitting in the Colosseum bleachers.

“I hope Dash knows what's she’s doin.” Applejack said.

“So do I, We know what that Doom Card can do and if Dash isn’t careful she could lose.” Sunset said in a worried tone.

“Have a little faith guys, Dash can handle it.” Twilight said.

“I hope so.” Sci-Twi said.

The Bakugan Battle between Rainbow and IIfrit will now begin!

IIfrit: 500

“Doom Card, Set!” IIfrit said throwing the doom card onto the field. The card then began to glow purple and insert itself into the field causing the entire coliseum to glow purple for a few seconds. Back in the bleachers, Twilight felt that same weird chill that Sunset and The Dazzlings felt.

“What was that just now?” Twilight asked hugging herself.

“You felt it too, huh?” Sunset asked.

“Yea it felt as if the field just dropped 10 degrees.” Twilight said as she shivered a bit.

“I know what you mean, all I know is that it has to do with that Doom Card.” Sunset said.

“Correct Ms. Shimmer.” Worton said as he and Skyress floated in front of the girls.

“Professor, Skyress, I thought you both stayed behind.” Sci-Twi said.

“And leave you ladies all alone with an enemy, not a chance.” The Professor said.

“We have to see this threat for ourselves, just to see what we’re really up against.” Skyress said. The girls nodded and turned their attention back to the battle.

“Ladies first.” IIfrit said.

“Fine by me, Gate Card Set!” Rainbow said throwing a card onto the field. The card then glowed green and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared.

“Alright go time, Bakugan Brawl!” Rainbow said throwing a green ball onto the field. “Ventus Monarus, Stand!” The green ball transformed and began to glow. Once the light died down, the green ball was replaced by a human looking bakugan with large butterfly wings.

“Wow nice butterfly, you ready Ballista?” IIfrit asked. “Let’s go.” Balista said. “Bakugan Brawl!” IIfrit said throwing a blue ball onto the field. “Bakugan Stand, Rise Aquos Balista!” The Blue ball transformed and began to glow. The light soon died down and ball was replaced with a large blue reptilian looking bakugan.

“Bring it on!” Balista said.

Monarus: 400
Balista: 900

“A power level of 900, this isn’t going to be a walk in the park. Ability Activate: Sonic Edge” Rainbow said holding up a card. Monarus then began to glow a fly towards Balista.

Monarus: 400
Balista: 900-300=600

“Oh please, if that’s all you got then I’m a bit disappointed. Ability Activate: Bubble Rush!” IIfrit said holding up a card. Balista held out his hand and a flurry of bubbles soon surrounded Monarus and as soon as they made contact they caused multiple explosions.

“MONARUS!!” Rainbow yelled.

Monarus: 400-300=100
Balista: 600+300=900

In the bleachers..

“That was harsh.” Sunset said.

“You’re telling me, I never thought bubbles could be so dangerous.” Pinkie said.

“Dash better do something quick, the power difference is over 500 and Monarus has taken major damage.” Twilight said. Skyress and Worton just watched on in silence.

Back on the battlefield…

Monarus fell to the ground and was in pretty bad shape. “Hold on Monarus, Ability Activate: Crimson Twister!” Rainbow said. Monarus got up and began flapping her wings send a huge gust of wind towards Balista.

Monarus: 100+400=500
Balista: 900-400=500

“That even things up a bit.” Rainbow said with a smirk.

“Alright Dashie!” Pinkie cheered. “You got this girl!” Applejack said.

“You bet I do, Ability Activate: Tornado Pandemonium!” Monarus few up high and began to spin creating a huge tornado. Balista tried his best to resist, but was soon sucked into the tornado.

Monarus: 500+300=800
Balista: 500-300=200

“Sweet, now Dash is in the lead.” Applejack said with a smile.

“The difference in power is 500 too, she might win this in one go.” Sci-Twi said getting excited.

“Don’t celebrate just yet girls, the battle just started and I think this IIfrit guys is just warming up.” Sunset said.

“She's right, let's keep watching.” Twilight said.

“Alright Monarus, Finish him off!” Rainbow commanded. Monarus then stopped spinning and began charging toward Balista.

“Balista no more playing around, Ability Activate: Marine Cannon!” IIfrit said. Balista quickly got his bearings and fired a large torrent of water from his mouth towards Monarus. Monarus wasn't fast enough to dodge the attack and once the attack hit her she was send flying out of the tornado. She soon hit the colosseum wall and the tornado she had made disappeared after a few seconds.

Monarus: 800-500=300
Balista: 200-500=700

“Are you kidding me?” Rainbow said in shock.

“Afraid so love sorry about this, Balista end this!” IIfrit commanded. Balista landed on the ground and released another torrent of water towards Monarus.

“Dammit I got no choice, Gate Card Open: Trade Off! ” Rainbow said in. The field began to glow and after a few seconds Balista went back to ball for and rolled over to IIfrit.

“What the- what was that?” IIfrit asked in shock. Monarus also went back to Rainbow and landed in her hand. “Trade Off is a command card that takes out any Bakugan with a power level over 400.” Rainbow said with a smirk.

“She got lucky.” Sunset said.

“You're telling me, she was about to lose most of her life points just now.” Sci-Twi said in a worried tone.

“Rainbow needs to stop rushing in and battle strategically or else she’s going to lose.” Twilight said.

“I agree.” Everyone turned to Skyress.

“She being rash and impulsive, that is no way for a Ventus Brawler to battle.” Skyress said in a serious tone. Everyone thought Skyress was being a bit harsh, but knew she was right.

“Dashie will be fine, I know she will.” Pinkie said.

“We’ll see.” Skyress said.

Rainbow looked to Monarus and shook her head.

“That was nothing more a cowards way out, well no more of that. I have to win, I just have to.” Rainbow thought to herself. IIfrit picked Balista off the ground.

“You ok?” He asked.

“I’m fine don’t worry, let’s just get back at it and this time no mercy.” Balista said.

“You got it.” IIfrit then took a card out of his pocket. “Gate Card Set!” IIfrit said throwing a card onto the field. The card then glowed blue and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared. “Bakugan Brawl, Balista stand!” IIfrit said throwing back onto the field.

“Come on little girl, are you gonna battle or run away like last time.” Balista taunted.

“I don’t run from anyone!” Rainbow growled. “Really because that last move seemed like running away to me.” IIfrit said with a smirk.

“SHUT UP!” Rainbow yelled.

“Oh someone’s a little touchy.” IIfrit said with a chuckle. Rainbow just growled and glared at the boy.

“You need to calm down!” Rainbow quickly looked to her left and saw Skyress floating next to her.

“What do you want?” Rainbow asked rather rudely.

“Manners young lady and I’m here to help. You’re a Ventus Brawler and it’s time you started acting like one.” Skyress said.

“What do you mean, the way I battle is just fine and I don’t need anyone telling me how to brawl.” Rainbow said angrily.

“Rainbow Dash, you need-” “No, what a need is for you to back off. Bakugan Brawl, Monarus Stand!” Rainbow said throwing Monarus back onto the field. Skyress just sighed and continued to watch the battle.

“Guess you're braver than I thought, Ability Activate: Aqua Jet!” IIfrit said. Balista’s body was soon covered in water, he then vanished in an instant.

“What the, where’d he go?” Rainbow asked. Balista then reappeared behind Monarus and delivered a swift kick to her back.

Monarus: 400-300=100
Balista: 900+300=1200

“Dammit, Double Ability Activate: Monarch Wing plus Sonic Edge!” Rainbow said holding up two cards. Monarus spread her wing and began charging toward Balista at full speed. Balista did the same and charges Monarus with his body covered in water again. The two collided and caused a small explosion that cracked the entire field.

Monarus: 100+400=500
Balista: 1200-300-400=500

After the smoke cleared from the explosion, Balista and Monarus were still standing and facing one another. "Whoa.” Sunset said in awe.

“I know they seem pretty even at this point.” Rarity said.

“Wrong.” Everyone turned to Twilight who had a serious look on her face.

“What do you mean?” Pinkie asked.

“Girls look at Monarus, do you see anything wrong with her?” Twilight asked. The girls were confused, but looked to Monarus.

“I’m not seeing what you mean Twi.” Applejack said.

“Neither am I- wait...oh no.” Sunset said in a worried tone.

“Will someone tell us what’s going on, what do you two see?” Rarity asked impatiently.

“Girls, Monarus won’t last much longer.” Twilight said in a grave tone. The girls gave The Princess an even more confused look.

“What do you mean?” Pinkie asked.

“Look at her girls, she barely used any abilities and she already tired.” Sunset said. The girls then looked back to Monarus and Balista and saw that Sunset was right. Monarus was covered in bruises and she was breathing very deeply.

“She still hasn’t recovered from her battle earlier, she needs to rest.” Fluttershy said in a worried tone. Applejack then looked to Rainbow.

“Dash, get Monarus out of there!” She said. Rainbow looked to Applejack with a confused look.

“What do you mean, Monarus is fine.” She said.

“You're wrong!” Rainbow looked to Skyress.

“She still hasn’t recovered from the last battle, pull her out with the ‘Backdraft’ Ability now!” Skyress demanded.

“I already told you, I don’t need anyone to tell me how to brawl and Monarus is just fine where she is.” Rainbow said turning her attention back to the battle.

“Rainbow I beg of you, pull Monarus out!” Skyress said.

“Rainbow listen to her, Monarus can’t take much more!” Sunset said. Rainbow didn’t bother answering and kept her focus on the battle. IIfrit was listening to the whole conversation and he began to laugh.

“Wow, you should listen to your friends a little more. Oh well you loss, Ability Activate: Assault Tsunami!” He said. Balista raised both raised his fist into the air and brought it down hitting the ground. This caused the field to break apart and out of the cracks a huge tsunami wave appeared behind Balista.

“What the hell!” Rainbow said in shock. Balista then jumped onto the tsunami and surfing on top of it.

“Here I come!” Balista said.

Monarus: 500-300=200
Balisa: 500

“Oh please, is that all you got?” Rainbow said holding up a card.

“Not even close, Gate Card Open: Misty Solitude!” IIfrit said. The field began to glow and was soon covered in a thick layer fog.

“Hide and seek huh, Ability Activate: Polaris Cylinder!” Rainbow said. Everyone waited for something to happen, but ever nothing did.

Monarus:200
Balista: 500

“What the, why didn’t it work. Monarus get out of the way!” Rainbow commanded. Monarus just stood there as if she didn’t hear Rainbow.

“Monarus!” Rainbow said.

“It’s no use, the ‘Misty Solitude’ command card doesn't just create this thick fog it also prevents the opposing bakugan from hearing it’s brawlers commands and prevents them from activating abilities. It’s funny, Monarus isn’t listening to you just like the way you’re not listening to your friends.” IIfrit said with a smirk. Rainbow’s eyes widened.

“No.” Rainbow said in a quiet tone.

“Oh yes, let's go Balista!” IIfrit commanded. Balista nodded as he and the tsunami he was surfing of were headed straight for Monarus.

“Monarus move, do something!” Rainbow panicked. Monarus just stood there and she soon saw the shadow on Balista and the tsunami heading for her, but it was too late. Monarus was soon swallowed by the Tsunami and forcibly thrown to the ground. Once she was on the ground, a huge portal opened up beneath her and she was slowly sinking in.

“NO MONARUS!” Rainbow yelled. Everyone in the bleachers could only watch in horror at what was happening.

“He can’t do this.” Twilight said getting up. Sci-Twi quickly put a hand on her counterparts shoulder.

“There’s nothing you can do princess.” She said. Twilight looked at her counterpart with a look of despair on her face.

“She right Twilight, i’m sorry.” Sunset said looking down. The others all just looked away not wanting to see Monarus die. Rainbow just stared at Monarus with tears in her eyes.

“Monarus...I’m sorry.” Rainbow said to herself. Skyress looked to Rainbow.

“The girl maybe stubborn, but she does mean well and she really does care about her bakugan. Monarus my friend, may you rest in peace.” Skyress thought to herself. Monarus was completely swallowed by the portal and it closed after a few seconds.

“Well that’s that.” Balista said before returning to ball form and landing in IIfrit’s hand.

Rainbow fell to her knees. “Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!” She yelled pounding her fist on the ground. Everyone looked at Rainbow with worried looks on their faces.

“Dashie.” Pinkie said in a sad tone. Fluttershy looked away and began to cry.

“I told her to pull Monarus out of the battle, but would she listen to me, NO!” Applejack said angrily. Coredom then jumped onto Applejack’s shoulder.

“AJ calm down, this isn’t the time.” He said.

“Coredom’s right Applejack, getting angry isn’t going to help anyone.” Sunset said.

“What am I supposed to do then?” Applejack asked.

“You sit down and continue watching the battle.” Everyone turned to Professor Worton who had finally spoken up. Twilight then glared at the Professor.

“Are you kidding me, you're telling us to just sit here and watch Rainbow lose.” She said angrily. Worton didn’t say anything and looked back to the field. Skyress looked at the girl on her knees at placed herself on her shoulder.

“Rainbow, please pull yourself together.” She said.

“I should have listened to you, I should have listen to the others and now Monarus is gone.” Rainbow said not looking at Skyress.

“Yes she is, but you shouldn’t let her death be in vain. Listen to me Rainbow, you need to start battling like a Ventus brawler should and that means you need to keep a cool head even in the most extreme situations. You can’t just rush in without a strategy.” Skyress said trying to comfort the girl. Rainbow looked at Skyress and shook her head.

“Are you kidding, I’m the most easily tempered person of you'll ever know.” She said.

“Then let me help you.” Skyress said. Rainbow stared at Skyress in shock.

“You can’t-” “Yes I can.” Skyress said cutting Rainbow off. “You interest me Rainbow Dash, you maybe rash and impulsive, but you have the potential to be a great brawler. So please, let me help you and together we’ll end this battle.” Skyress said. Rainbow just stared at Skyress for a few seconds before giving a small nod.

“I’d be honored to battle with you.” Rainbow said with a small smile.

“Then let’s get busy.” Skyress said. Rainbow nodded and got up onto her feet.

“Gate Care Set!” She said throwing a card onto the field. Everyone in the bleachers looked at Rainbow in shock.

“She’s still going?” Rarity asked.

“Yes because she hasn’t given up.” Worton said.

“But how can she win, Monarus was her best Bakugan.” Twilight asked. Worton then turned to the girls.

“You all remember the reason you came to see me?” He asked them.

“Of course, so you can help us find ours bonded partners.” Sci-Twi said.

“Correct, so I urge you all to watch the rest of this battle and you’ll understand how to find them.” Worton said. The girls were confused at first, but complied with the professor and continued to watch the battle. Rainbow then took hold of Skyress.

“Are you ready?” She asked.

“I am.” Skyress said. Rainbow nodded.

“Bakugan Brawl!” She said throwing Skyress onto the field. “Bakugan Stand, Ventus Skyress Descend!” Skyress then transformed and began to glow. Suddenly a storm appeared out of nowhere and a green lightning bolt shot up into it causing the storm to intensify.

“What the hell.” IIfrit said to himself. Just then, a huge light opened up in the center of the storm and a green phoenix looking bakugan appeared out of the light.

“Oh my, green or not she’s beautiful!” Rarity said in awe.

“Wow!” Pinkie said with a smile. “So that’s Skyress’s true form, amazing.” Sunset said to herself.

"I don’t understand why you had trouble beating her Strikeflier, she looks a bit harmless.” Sci-Twi said. Strikeflier jumped onto her shoulder.

“Oh trust me, she’s anything but harmless.” He said.

“I just hope she can hold her own against Balista.” Twilight said.

“I got a feelin this time, she might have a chance to win this.” Applejack said. Rainbow looked at Skyress in awe.

“Wow, you are the coolest looking bakugan I’ve ever seen.” She said with a smile.

“Thanks for the compliment, now let’s win this.” Skyress said. Rainbow nodded and looked to IIfrit.

“Alight pal, let’s go.” She said.

“That bakugan is pretty cool, huh?” IIfrit asked.

“I must say she looks strong, let’s test that strength.” Balista said.

“You got it pal, Bakugan Brawl, Balista stand!” IIfrit said throwing Balista back onto the field.

“This is the last round little girl, you better make it count.” Balista said.

“A power of 600, that’s actually really good.” Sunset said.

“Yeah, that means it won’t take long for Rainbow to catch up with Balista’s 900.” Twilight said.

“Let’s see what you got Skyress, Ability Activate: Aqua Jet!” IIfrit said. Balista’s body was soon covered in water, he then vanished in an instant.

Skyress: 600-300=300
Balista: 900+300= 1200

“Crap, not again.” Rainbow said.

“Calm down Rainbow, it’s fine just take a deep breath and think.” Skyress said. Rainbow nodded and took a deep breath.

“Ok Dash focus, his ‘Aqua Jet’ ability increases his power and speed. So if that's the case instead of fighting power with power, I'll fight speed with speed.” Rainbow thought. “Ability Activate: Hurricane Maelstrom!” Rainbow said throwing a card at Skyress. Balista then appeared behind Skyress and was about to attack her, but before he could Skyress disappeared into thin air.

“Where did she-” “Right behind you.” Skyress said before hitting Balista with her wings. Balista fell face first into the ground and he groaned in pain.

Skyress: 300=500=800
Balista: 1200-500=700

“Balista, you ok?” IIfrit asked. Balista tried getting up, but he was moving a bit slowly.

“Yea, but that hurt.” He said rubbing his head.

“This bird’s no pushover I’d better be careful. Ability Activate: Marine Cannon!” IIfrit said. Balista quickly got on his feet and fired a large torrent of water from his mouth towards Skyress.

Skyress: 800-500=300
Balista:700+500=1200

Skyress used her wings to block the attack, but she was slowly being over powered. “Rainbow, a little help?” Skyress asked.

“Don’t worry partner I got your back, Gate Card Open: Ring Zero!” The field began to glow and in just a few seconds Balista was frozen in place.

Skyress: 300+500=800
Balista: 1200-500=700

“What!?” IIfrit said in shock. Skyress was then freed from Balista’s attack and she landed over next to Rainbow.

“You ok Skyress?” Rainbow asked.

“Yes I’m fine, thanks to you.” Skyress said with a nod.

“No problem, we’re a team right?” Rainbow asked.

“Yes we are.” Skyress said. Rainbow smiled and looked to IIfrit.

"As for you, Ring Zero is a Command card that nullifies the opponents abilities and leaves them frozen in place." Rainbow said.

"That is not good." Ifrit said.

"For you, no it isn't." Skyress said.

Back in the bleachers

“GO DASHIE, GO SKYRESS!!” Pinkie cheered.

“I can’t believe it, Skyress in amazing.” Sunset said with a smile.

“I know and she and Rainbow are in perfect sync.” Twilight said.

“Yea, you’d think those two have been partners for years.” Rarity said.

“To think this is their first battle together….wait Profesor, is this what you wanted to show us?” Sci-Twi asked.

“I see you all understand now.” Worton said.

“We do?” Pinkie asked.

“Yes Pinkie you do, A bonded bakugan and brawler must have an understanding of each other before having a battle. The two must know each other's strengths and weaknesses that way the bond between the two will be even stronger. Sunset, Applejack, Twilight, tell me when you met Coredom, Rubanoid and Strikeflier, did you all feel a small connection with them before you all started battling together?” The professor asked. Applejack, Sunset and Sci-Twi all thought about this for a minute.

“Well kinda, when I met Coredom he helped me and my sister with some work around the farm. I thought since he was in ball form he couldn’t do much, but man was I wrong. He was a big help and he got along really well with my family. It was like he was already part of the family.” Applejack said with a smile.

“Same here, Strikeflier and I hit it off pretty well when we met and we’ve been together ever since.” Sci-Twi said.

“Me and Rubanoid went through a similar experience as well.” Sunset said.

“You see, you all have had a connection even before you all became partners and that’s what you have to look for when finding you bonded partner.” Worton said.

“I see that’s why you weren’t worried about Rainbow when she lost Monarus.” Twilight said.

“That’s correct, I am sorry for my sister Monarus though.” Worton said.

“Don’t worry, Dashie and Skyress will avenge her.” Pinkie said turning back to the field.

“Balista, move before they get an attack in.” IIfrit said.

“I….can’t….move...IIfrit.” Balista said slowly.

“Oh man.” IIfrit said in a worried tone.

“Alright Skyress, let’s end this.” Rainbow said.

“You got it.” Skyress said before taking to the air once again.

“This is not good.” IIfrit said taking a step back.

“Ability Activate: Disguising Tornado.” Rainbow said. Skyress spread her wings out as far a she could, they soon began to glow and Skyress was soon wrapped in a tornado.

Balista: 700-300=400

Skyress then flew out of the tornado and charged Balista with every ounce of speed she had.

“So long Balista.” Skyress said before colliding into Balista and sending him into the colosseum wall. Balisa was imbedded in the colosseum wall and soon returned to ball form.

“Aww Balista no.” IIfrit said picking Balista up off the ground. Skyress then landed in front of Rainbow.

“We won.” She said.

“Yea we did.” Rainbow said with a smile. Skyress then returned to ball form and landed in Rainbow’s hand.

Battle over Winner: Rainbow Dash!

As soon as that was said the entire field started to glow and began to disappear. After a few seconds, the field was completely gone and everyone returned to their original spots as when they left.

“We won.” Rainbow said.

“That we did, well done.” Skyress said. Before Rainbow cold say anything, Pinkie gave her a giant bear hug.

“Dashie, you and Skyress were amazing.” She said.

“Th..thank Pinkie….now let go..i can’t..breath.” Rainbow choked out.

“Sorry.” Pinkie said letting Rainbow go.

“Girl that was some battle, congrats.” Applejack said.

“Thanks and look sorry for not listening to you. I know you and Skyress were only trying to help.” Rainbow said looking down.

“I know, it’s ok.” Applejack and putting a hand on Rainbow’s shoulder.

“Nice battle.” everyone turned to IIfrit who had a smile on his face. Rainbow glared at him.

“How can you just smile like that after what you did?” She asked him.

“I don’t know, but I sure had a lot of fun. Hope we get to battle again someday.” IIfrit said before disappearing in a bright flash of light.

“That creep.” Rainbow said. “It’s fine Rainbow, now I think you all have the answer you’re looking for, correct?” The professor asked.

“Yes Professor, thank you.” Sunset said. Everyone except Rainbow all nodded.

“Wait, what are you talking about?” Rainbow asked in confusion

“We’ll tell you later, but right now be happy that you found your bonded partner.” Twilight said with a smile.

“I say again, what are you talking about?” Rainbow asked even more confused.

“Rainbow she means that you and I are going to be together for a long time.” Skyress said landing on Rainbow’s shoulders.

“Wait you and me partners, for real?” Rainbow asked.

“Well I did say that I would help you and that’s what I’m going to do. So Rainbow how about it, you wanna make this team of ours permanent?” Skyress asked.

“Are you kidding, of course I would. You were awesome in that battle today, having a bakugan like you on the team we’ll take down Lilac down in no time.” Rainbow said with a smile.

“Agreed i think we all have had enough excitement for the day.” Fluttershy said.

“Your right Fluttershy, Thank you for your help professor and forgive me for getting upset with you.” Twilight said.

“It’s alright Twilight, now you girls go and get so rest.” Worton said. The girls all nodded and began to leave the professor’s office.

“Good luck my student and good luck to you girls as well.” Worton thought to himself.

IIfrit appeared in front on Dr. Rex and frowned. “Sorry, I lost.” IIfrit said looking down. Dr. Rex looked at the boy and put a hand on his shoulder.

“It’s fine my boy, I was watching and I must say you are a fine brawler.” He said. IIfrit looked back up the to the doctor and saw him smiling.

“Lilac was right you are skilled, but you still need work. I want you to go and train with Balista for a few days and then come back when you think you’re ready.” Dr. Rex said.

“Yes sir, come on Balista.” IIfrit said.

“You got it.” Balista said. With that, the two left the room and Dr. Rex just chuckled. “Kids, now to see how Neon is doing.” He said watching another monitor.

With the Brawlers

“Welcome to the team Skyress.” Rainbow said with a smile.

“Glad to be here.” Skyress said.

“I can’t wait til I meet my bonded partner.” Pinkie said jumping up and down.

“I know what you mean, I can’t wait for mine.” Twilight said. Before anything else could be said, Rarity’s phone began to ring.

“Hello….sure dear….ok….I’ll be right there. Girls I got to go, Clyde wants to talk to me. I think he’s still shook up about his battle with Lilac.” Rarity said.

“We hear you, go comfort your boyfriend.” Applejack said.

“Thanks girls, see you later.” Rarity said walking away. The brawler then continued on to Pinkie’s house.

With Rarity

“I hope he’s alright, ugh that Lilac girl’s gonna pay for this.” Rarity said. Just as she was about to turn the corner she had a strange feeling that someone was following her. “Who’s there?” Rarity asked as she turned around only to see no one. “I’m just being para….noid.” Rarity began to fall to the ground. “Ugh, my head it hurts.” Rarity thought as she landed on the ground. Rarity tried her best to get up, but her body wouldn’t respond to her. She then saw someone walking towards her, but with her grogginess she couldn’t make out who. “H...help...m..me...please.” Rarity said quietly. The person then kneeled down to Rarity and from what Rarity could make out the person was smiling.

“Oh I’ll help you alright.” The person said. Rarity didn’t know what the person meant, but she didn’t have time to think about it as she felt the grogginess take her over and soon her world went black.

“Come on man, pull yourself together.” Clyde said shaking his head. He was still trying to get over his battle with Lilac. Wolfurio then jumped onto his shoulder.

“Clyde I know you’re still upset, but you need to let it go.” He said.

“I know, you’re right.” Clyde said with a nod.

“Why don’t you talk to Rarity about this, you haven’t talked to her since yesterday and that’s really unusual for you.” Wolfurio said. Clyde’s eyes widened and realized Wolfurio was right, he hadn’t talked to Rarity all day.

“Oh man you’re right, my Boo must be worried sick.” Clyde said before pulling out his phone. Wolfurio chuckled abit.

“Well that’s progress I guess.” Wolfurio thought.

“Hey Rarity, you think you can meet me in the park in a few minutes….Thank I just need to talk to someone….thanks...ok bye.” Clyde said before hanging up his phone.

“She coming?” Wulfurio asked. “Yes she’ll be here in a few minutes.” Clyde said with a smile.

“It’s nice to see you smiling again partner.” Wulfurio said.

“It’s my Boo, how could I not smile.”

An hour had passed since Clyde got off the phone with Rarity and she still hadn’t shown up.

“Where is she?” Clyde asked in a worried tone.

“It’s doesn’t take that long to get to the park, I wonder what’s taking her.” Wolfurio said. Clyde then got up and took out his phone.

“I’m calling her.” He said dialing Rarity’s number. After a few seconds, the call went straight to voicemail and Clyde began to worry even more than before.

“Something’s wrong, Rarity’s not answering. Come on Wolfurio.” Clyde said putting his phone away. Wolfurio jumped onto Clyde’s shoulder and the two made their way out of the park.

“Excuse me good sir, would you care for a little battle?” Clyde turned around and saw Neon Lights standing behind him.

“You’re Neon, right?” Clyde asked.

“You remember me.” Neon said with a smile.

“How could I forget the guy that tried to fight Treble a few months ago.” Clyde said glaring a Neon.

“Aww come on Clyde, can’t we just forgive and forget?” Neon said with a chuckle.

“After what you did, that’s definitely not happening.” Clyde said.

“Aw well, you can’t befriend everyone. You never answered my question, care for a friendly battle?” Neon asked with a smile.

“No thanks, I have no time for a weasel like you.” Clyde said before walking away.

“Aww come on, what could be so important?” Neon asked.

“None of your business.” Clyde said not looking back.

“Actually it is his business, as well as mine as well.” Clyde’s blood ran cold as he hear a very familiar voice. He then turned to see Lilac sitting up in a tree.

“Lilac.” Clyde said trembling a bit.

“Good to see you handsome, how have you been?” Lilac asked jumping down from the tree.

“What are you doing here, this is my battle Lilac.” Neon said.

“Oh I know and I have no intention of interfering, I’m just giving Clyde over there a reason to battle.” Lilac said with a smirk.

“What do you mean?” Clyde asked reluctantly.

“I’d like to know myself.” Neon said. Lilac chuckled and looked to Clyde.

“Tell me Clyde, why were you in such a hurry to leave the park.” She asked. Clyde raised an eyebrow at her question.

“What’s that have to do with anything?” He asked. Lilac just stared at Clyde with a smile on her face. It took a minute, but Clyde finally put two and two together and he glared at Lilac.

“Where! Is! Rarity!” He said angrily. Lilac then began to laugh.

“Took you long enough to figure it out.” She said. By this point, Clyde was steaming and Lilac laughing wasn’t helping.

“I swear Lilac, If you’ve done anything to her I’ll-” “Calm down handsome, your precious little Gem is safe...for now.” Lilac said with a smirk. Clyde growled at her words.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“You for starters handsome, but that’ll have to wait til later.” Lilac said with a flirtatious smile. Clyde felt a small blush come across his face.

“UGH Stop, you have Rarity,YOU HAVE RARITY!” He thought shaking his head.

“Aww someone’s flustered again.” Lilac said with a giggle.

“I’m not in the mood for your games Lilac, what do you want?!” Clyde asked losing his patience.

“Chill Handsome, I’m teasing. All I want is you you to battle Neon, nothing more nothing less.” Lilac said.

“That’s it?” Clyde asked.

“Yes, but there’s a catch.” Lilac said smiling.

“Of course there is.” Clyde said to himself.

“If you win, I’ll tell you where your Little Gem is.” Lilac said.

“And if I lose?” Clyde asked.

“Wolfurio, goes to the Doom Dimension.” Lilac said. Clyde winced at her answer and looked down. Wolfurio finally decided to speak up.

“Clyde, pull yourself together. We can do this, we have to save Rarity.” He said. Clyde closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

“I know, but what if-” “No! Clyde, stop thinking about the what ifs, if ands and if onlys. Start thinking about what’s most important to you and what’ll happen to it if you start doubting yourself.” Wolfurio said cutting Clyde off. Clyde took in Wolfurio’s words and opened his eyes.

“You’re right, we can do this. Alright Neon, you want a battle you got one.” Clyde said with determination in his eyes.

“That’s the spirit handsome, don’t hold anything back Neon.” Lilac said pulling a field card out of her pocket.

“You got it boss.” Neon said also pulling a field card. Clyde did the same and looked to Wolfurio.

“You ready?” He asked.

“Always.” Wolfurio answered.

FIELD OPEN!

As soon as that phrase was said, a big circle appeared underneath Clyde, Lilac and Neon and started glow. Those outside of the circle all started to move in slow motion until they all just stopped, while those in the circle were being engulfed by the light and began to disappear. After a few seconds, Clyde, Neon and Lilac appeared in the colosseum. Clyde and Neon were standing across from each other on the field and Lilac was in the Colosseum bleachers.

“This is going to interesting.” Lilac said. Hydranoid then jumped onto her shoulder.

“Yes, let’s see if Wolfurio can handle Professor Rex’s new Creation.” He said with a chuckle.

The Bakugan Battle between Clyde and Neon Lights will now begin!

“Doom Card Set!” Neon said throwing the doom card onto the field. The card then began to glow purple and insert itself into the field causing the entire coliseum to glow purple for a few seconds.

“There it goes.” Clyde thought to himself.

“Alright Clyde, let’s get started! Gate Card Set.” Neon said throwing a card onto the field. The card then glowed green and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared.

“Allow me to introduce, Ventus Altair! Bakugan Brawl, Altair Stand!” Neon said throwing a green, yellow and silver ball onto the field. The transformed and began to glow green. Once the Light died down, the ball was replaced a what looked like a Mechanical Bakugan. The lenses in its red eyes glimmer brightly, It’s fangs and horns were sharp as swords and it had widespread wings had spinners that allowed it to hover.

“What is that thing?” Clyde asked in shock.

“This is my partner, Ventus Altair. A very close ally of ours created him and gave him to me to test run.” Neon said with a smile.

“So they have someone creating Bakugan for them?” Clyde thought to himself.

“This piece of junk is nothing more than a joke, it can’t beat a living Bakugan. I’ll take down that trash heap piece by piece.” Clyde said in a low tone.

“Oooh, I’m so scared.” Neon mocked.

“Come back up all that talk, if you think you can.” He said baiting Clyde. Clyde growled.

“Ready Wolfurio?” He asked.

“Let’s do it.” Wolfurio said before landing in Clyde’s hand.

“Bakugan Brawl!” Clyde said throwing Wolfurio onto the field. “Wolfurio Stand!” Wolfurio transformed and soon was back in his original form.

“Get ready Neon because you’re about to be one partner short.” Wolfurio said.

Wolfurio: 900
Altair: 700

“We’ll see about that, Ability Activate: Thunder Flare!” Neon said holding up a card. Altair aimed it’s tail at Wolfurio before firing multiple shots of electricity from it.

Wolfurio: 900-200=700
Altair:700+200=900

Clyde quickly raised his right arm to reveal his Bakupod and pressed three buttons. “Baku-Nano: Lanzato, Destroy!” He said. After a few seconds, both of Wolfurio’s hands began to glow and soon he was holding a spear and shield.

Wolfurio: 700+100=800
Altair: 900

Wolfurio blocked all the shots of electricity with his shield and began to chuckle. “If that’s all this things got than this will be a short battle.” He said.

“Got that right, Ability Activate: Spear Aegis!” Clyde said holding up a card. Wolfurio’s spear began to glow and he then began charging toward Altair.

Wolfurio: 800+500=1300
Altair: 900

“Oh no you don’t, Ability Activate: Sanctuary Protection!” Neon said. Soon a green orb surrounded Altair and once Wolfurio’s spear made contact the orb began shocking him.

“AHHH!” Wolfurio screamed in pain before falling to the ground.

“Wofurio!” Clyde said with worry in his voice.

Wolfurio: 1300-400=900
Altair: 900+400=1300

“What was that about this being a short battle, Gate Card Open: Ansamon Judgement!” The feild began to glow and soon Wolfurio felt as if all his energy was being drained out of him.

“AGH!” Wolfurio cried out.

“Wolfurio, What’s going on?” Clyde asked glaring at Neon.

“Ansamon Judgement is a command card that brings the power levels of all Bakugan who aren’t Ventus on the battlefield to zero.” Neon explained.

“Oh, nice move on Neon’s part.” Lilac said with a smile.

“Agreed, What will you do Wolfurio?” Hydranoid asked.

“Hold on Wolfurio, Ability Activate: Solar Flare!” Clyde said throwing a card onto the field. Once the card landed, the field started to glow and the Gate card began to break apart. Wolfurio felt all the energy he had lost return to him and he got up off of the ground.

Wolfurio: 900+400=1300
Altair: 1300-400=900

“Are you kidding me?” Neon said in shock.

“When I said I was going to take that junk heap down, I meant it! Go Wolfurio!” Clyde commanded.

“You got it!” Wolfurio said before jumping up and slashing Altair with his spear. Altair let out a cry before returning to ball form and rolling over to Neon.

“Dammit.” Neon growled as he picked up Altair. Once Wolfurio landed back on the ground, he also returned to back to ball form and landed in Clyde’s hand.

“Nice job Wolfurio.” Clyde said with a smile.

“Thank you.” Wolfurio said with a nod.

“Talk about cutting it close, if it wasn’t for Solar flare Wolfurio would be gone.” Lilac said.

“Clyde and Wolfurio sure make a strong team.” Hydranoid said.

“Yea~ they do.” Lilac said cooed.

“You’re drooling Lilac.” Hydranoid joked.

“Shut up you!” Lilac said.

“I’m giving you a chance here Neon, give up and I won’t destroy that tin can of yours.” Clyde said.

“What’s the fun in that, I haven’t even showed you my secret weapon yet.” Neon said with a smile.

“Like you’ll have the chance to use it, Gate Card Set!” Clyde said throwing a card onto the field. “Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan stand!” Clyde said throwing Wolfurio back onto the battlefield. “Come on!” Wolfurio said.

“Bakugan Brawl, Bakugan Stand!” Neon said throwing Altair back onto the field.

“Ability Activate: Radiant Blazer!” Clyde said holding up a card. Wolfurio’s body was soon covered in a golden aura and he began charging Altair with great speed.

Wolfurio: 900+500=1400
Altair: 700-500=200

“Ability Activate: Sanctuary Protection!” Neon said. Soon the same green orb from before surrounded Altair.

Wolfurio: 1400-400=1000
Altair: 200+400=600

“Like that’s going to help you, Wolfurio still has the higher power level.” Clyde said.

“Oh I’m not done yet, Fusion Ability Activate: Omni Engine!” Neon said. Just then, the orb surrounding Altair began glowing brighter and once Wolfurio made contact with it…

KA-BOOM!

A huge explosion was set off in the middle of the battlefield causing everyone to shield themselves as best as the could.

“Wolfurio, are you ok!?” Clyde asked. There was no answer and Clyde quickly checked his Bakupod for the score.

Wolfurio: 1000-500=500
Altair: 600+500=1100

“Oh no, Wolfurio!” Clyde said in a worried tone. Just then he heard a small grunt and saw a shadow through the smoke.

“Don’t...worry Clyde, I’m alright.” Once the smoke cleared, Clyde saw Wolfurio on one knee and holding his arm. He also saw Altair hovering over Wolfurio with not so much as a scratch on him.

“Wow, I really didn’t expect Wolfurio to survive that.” Lilac said in shock.

“I guess he’s more durable than we originally thought.” Hydranoid said. Lilac nodded.

“Well, that was a blast wasn’t it Clyde?” Neon asked with a chuckle.

“Not funny.” Clyde said with a deadpanned stare.

“Says you, Altair finish them off.” Neon Commanded. Altair soon released a green laser from it mouth that was heading straight for Wolfurio.

“Gate Card Open: Flat Power!” The field began to glow and the laser heading for Wolfurio disappeared.

Wolfurio: 500+400=900
Altair: 1100-400=700

“Hey, what gives?” Neon asked.

“The Command Card ‘Flat Power’ returns the power levels of all Bakugan on the battlefield back to their base Levels.” Clyde explained.

“Clever, but not clever enough. I think it’s time for that secret weapon I was talking about.” Neon said with a smile.

“Fine bring it out, it won’t make a difference.” Clyde said.

“That’s what you think.” Neon said pulling a silver and green ball out of his pocket. “Mechanical Ventus Wired, Bakugan Brawl!” He said throwing the ball up into the air. The ball transformed and began to glow. Once the light died down, the ball was replaced with a large mechanical bird with a large beak, tiny spinners under it’s wings allowing it to hover, it’s wings consisted of five razor sharp feathers and clawed feet.

Clyde looked at the the new bakugan with an unimpressed look on his face.

“Is that it, an overgrown mechanical bird?” Clyde asked.

“That’s right and there’s more to him than meets the eye.” Neon said with a sinister smile.

“You’re bluffing.” Clyde said not buying his words.

“Then let me prove it. Altair, Wired, Combination Formation!” Neon commanded. Altair and Wired both flew up into the sky and began combining to form one new Bakugan. “Ladies and Gentlemen, I’d like to introduce Meta-Altair.” Neon exclaimed and his new Bakugan descended.

Wolfurio: 900
Meta-Altair: 1650

Clyde and Wolfurio both looked at Meta-Altair in shock.

“Whoa.” Wolfurio said.

“You can say that again, they’re 750 points ahead of us.” Clyde said.

“So that’s Meta-Altair, The professor has really outdone himself this time.” Lilac said with a smile.

“I must admit that is rather impressive.” Hydranoid said.

“HAHAHAHA! Aw man, you should see the looks on your faces.” Neon said laughing his but off. Clyde quickly composed himself and glared at Neon.

“Aww come on Clyde, why the angry face?” Neon asked with a smirk. Clyde growled.

“Wolfurio, we have to end this now?” He said.

“Right.” Wolfurio nodded. Clyde then raised his right arm and pressed three buttons on his Bakupod.

“Baku-Nano: Lanzato, Destroy!” He said. After a few seconds, both of Wolfurio’s hands began to glow and soon he was once again holding his spear and shield.

Wolfurio: 900+100=1000
Meta-Altair: 1650

“Pulling out the Nano again huh, too bad it won’t do you any good. Let’s go Altair, Ability Activate, Lightning Lance!” Neon said. Meta-Altair opened it’s mouth and began charging his next attack.

Wolfurio: 1000
Meta-Altair: 1650+400=2050

After a few seconds, Meta-Altair fired a massive green laser at Wolfurio and it was increasing in size as it grew closer.

“Aw crap, Ability Activate: Royal Light!” Clyde said. A golden light then surrounded Wolfurio as he held out his shield to block the attack as best as he could, but was soon overpowered by the blast and sent into the colosseum wall.

“AGH!” Wolfurio screamed in pain.

“WOLFURIO!” Clyde yelled.

Wolfurio: 1000+200=1200
Meta-Altair: 2050-400-200=1450

“That was worse than the explosion earlier.” Lilac said.

“I know, you think he’s ok?” Hydranoid asked.

“We’ll find out.” Lilac said with a smile. Clyde ran over to the hole that Wolfurio had made when he crashed into the wall and began calling out to him.

“Wolfurio! Wolfurio! Come on man answer me.” Clyde said in a worried tone.

“Uhh…..” Clyde then saw Wolfurio slowly walking out of the hole, but his armor was cracked and his breathing was heavy. Once Wolfurio was out of the hole, he dropped to one knee and began coughing.

“That….wasn’t….fun.” He said before falling to the ground.

“Wolfurio!” Clyde yelled. After a few seconds, a huge portal opened up above Wolfurio and began to suck him in.

“No….NO!” Clyde said in a panic.

“HAHAHAHAHA! Guess you couldn’t handle me after all.” Neon said with a smile.

“I guess that’s it and here I thought we found two worthy rivals.” Hydranoid said.

“Hmmm...don’t count them out just yet Hydranoid. There’s more to these two than meets the eye, their journey together isn’t over yet.” Lilac said in a serious tone.

“You think so?” Hydranoid asked. Lilac then looked to Clyde and smiled at him.

“I know so.” She said. All Clyde could do was watch in horror as his partner was being sucked in by the huge portal.

“NO! Wolfurio open your eyes please! Wolfurio!” He yelled. Wolfurio didn’t respond. Clyde then looked to the ground and gritted his teeth.

“Wolfurio please, I can’t do this alone. You’re more than just my partner, you’re my best friend. Please….don’t let it end like this.” Clyde thought hoping his feelings would reach his partner. Just as Wolfurio’s body reached the portal, his eyes began to glow and the entire field was surrounded by a golden aura.

“What’s going on?” Hydranoid asked.

“I was way off, those two have an even stronger bond than I thought.” Lilac said.

“What are you talking about?” Hydranoid asked in a confused tone.

“Watch and you’ll find out.” Lilac said with a smile.

“Hey, what’s with the light? Why isn’t Wolfurio gone?” Neon asked shielding his eyes from the bright light. After a few seconds, the portal above Wolfurio began to close and Wolfurio himself slowly fell back onto the ground.

“Wolfurio, are you ok?” Clyde asked walking over to his partner. It took a minute, but Wolfurio regained consciousness and looked to Clyde.

“Don’t worry partner…..I’m not...going anywhere.” He said before returning to ball form and rolling over to Wolfurio. There was a few minutes of silence before Neon and Hydranoid broke it.

“WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?” They both shouted. Soon Meta-Altair returned to ball form and landed in Neon’s hand.

Clyde quickly picked Wolfurio up off the ground and sighed in relief. “Thank Faust you’re ok.” He said.

“But, how am I still here?” Wolfurio asked.

“I can answer that.” Everyone looked to Lilac who had a big smile on her face.

“Alright I want answers boss, what the hell just happened?” Neon asked impatiently.

“I’d watch my tone if I were you Neon.” Lilac said as a black aura surrounded her. Neon quickly covered his mouth and nodded.

“Good boy. Now, remember when I said the ‘Doom Card’ will send every defeated bakugan to the Doom Dimension?” She asked. Neon and Clyde nodded. “While that is true, bakugan who have a very strong bond with their partner brawler can’t be sent to the Doom Dimension after one loss.” Lilac said. Clyde’s eyes widened at her words.

“Wait that means-” “Unless you’re Life Force drops to zero handsome, you get to keep Wolfurio.” Lilac said cutting Clyde off.

“Are you serious?” Neon asked.

“Oh I’m very serious.” Lilac said with a smile. Wolfurio then jumped onto Clyde’s shoulder.

“We still have a chance to win this Clyde.” He said. Clyde then took a deep breath and smiled.

“You bet we do! Alright Neon, bring it on!” Clyde said. Neon was taken aback by Clyde challenge, but quickly composed himself.

“Don’t think this changes anything, You and Wolfurio still don’t stand a chance against Altair.” Neon he said.

“You really think that don’t you? Well then, I think it time you learn why they call me the King of Canterlot High.” Clyde said with a confident smile. Lilac looked at Clyde longingly and smiled.

“Now that’s the boy I remember battling~” She said.

“You really have it bad don’t you?” Hydranoid asked.

“Is it that obvious?” Lilac asked with a smile on her face.

“King or not, you’re going down! Gate Card Set!” Neon said throwing a card onto the field.

“Altair, Bakugan Brawl! Wired, you’re up too!” He said throwing Altair onto the field and throwing Wired into the air.

“A double throw, huh?” Clyde asked.

“That’s right, Combination Formation!” Neon commanded. Both Bakugan transformed and began to combine once more. Clyde and Wolfurio looked at the Mechanical monster and nodded.

“Ready?” Clyde asked.

“Ready.” Wolfurio answered. “Bakugan Brawl, Wolfurio Stand!” Clyde said throwing Wolfurio back onto the field.

“Let’s end this!” Wolfurio said.

“Yes, let’s end this! Ability Activate: Voltage Gale!” Neon said holding up a card. Altair’s wings began to glow before shooting multiple streams of electricity at Wolfurio.

“Oh please, is that it? Ability Activate: Radiant Crasher!” Clyde said. Wolfurio held out both of his hands and soon a golden shield appeared in front of him.

“You won’t defeat me boy!” Wofurio said blocking Altair’s attack.

Meta-Altair:2050-400-500=1150

“No way!” Neon said in shock.

“Oh yes way, ‘Radiant Crasher’ is an ability unique only to Haos Wolfurio. It nullifies all the opponent's abilities and transfers 500 points from you to me.” Clyde explained. “Clyde’s getting his groove back.” Lilac said.

“Yes and so is Wolfurio. Looks like I found a worthy rival after all.” Hydranoid said.

“And I found the perfect man.” Lilac cooed.

“So Neon, What are you going to do now?” Clyde asked with a smirk. Neon growled.

“Baku-Nano: Lanzato, Destroy!” Clyde said. After a few seconds, Wolfurio was holding his spear and shield.

“You must be desperate if you think that Nano is going to help you.” Neon said. Clyde sighed and looked to Neon.

“Let me give you some advice Neon, never and I mean never underestimate a King! Double Fusion Ability Activate: Blazing Shine plus True Aura!” Clyde said holding up two cards. Wolfurio body was soon covered in a flaming golden aura and he began charging toward Altair.

“Double Fusion Ability, That’s impressive.” Hydranoid said with genuine praise in his voice.

“I know.” Lilac said.

“That’s it, Gate Card Open: Character!” Neon said. The field then began to glow, but as soon as it did the light began to fade away.

“Huh, What gives?” Neon asked.

“The Gate Card can’t be opened once Blazing Shine is activated.” Clyde said.

“NO!” Neon shouted. Soon Wolfurio and Altair both collided with each other causing a small explosion mid-air.

After a few seconds, both Bakugan emerged from the explosion. Wolfurio landed on the ground with barely a scratch on him, but Altair on the other hand crashed to the ground and returned to ball for after doing so.

“DAMMIT ALL!” Neon yelled. Wolfurio also returned to ball form and landed in Clyde’s hand.

“Great job Wolfurio.” Clyde said with a smile.

“Thank you.” Wolfurio said with a nod.

“Now that’s what I call a battle.” Lilac said.

“Agreed, I hope Wolfurio shows off that power the next time we battle.” Hydranoid said.

As soon as that was said the entire field started to glow and began to disappear. After a few seconds, the field was completely gone and everyone returned to their original spots as when they left.

“I can’t believe this.” Neon said picking Altair and Wired off of the ground.

“It’s your fault for underestimating him, but it was a good battle nonetheless. Head back to HQ Neon, I have some business to attend to.” LIlac said looking towards Clyde.

“Fine, whatever.” Neon said before he disappeared in a bright flash of light.

“Just you and me now handsome.” Lilac said with a smile.

“I have no time for that, Where’s Rarity?” Clyde asked. Lilac giggled and walked over to Clyde.

“Don’t worry handsome, she’s fine. She’s on the next block around the corner, she’s just napping.” Lilac said. Clyde nodded and turned to leave, but Lilac grabbed his am before he could.

“What now?” Clyde asked getting annoyed. Lilac smiled deviously and pulled Clyde in close.

“Just remember, we never finished our battle and I plan on finishing it.” She said. Clyde held his composure and glared at Lilac. “I’ll tell you this now, you’ll lose.” He said trying to get out of Lilacs grip. “We’ll see about that, but until then…” Lilac then leaned in and kissed Clyde on the cheek before she released him. “I’ll see you soon.” She said before winking at him and disappearing. Clyde just stood there with a large blush on his face.

“Clyde? Clyde, Are you alright?” Wolfurio asked. Clyde didn’t answer as he was in his own thoughts.

“What is wrong with me, why am I blush like this? I have Rarity...but Lilac…..AGH STOP IT! You have Rarity, You have your Boo, you don’t need anyone else but her.” Clyde thought as he shook his head.

“Come one Wolfurio, we have to find Rarity.” Clyde said as he began walking.

“Uh...right.” Wolfurio said.

“If what Lilac said was true, then Rarity should be right around- Whoa!” Clyde said as he tripped and fell to the ground.

“Clyde, are you alright?” Wolfurio asked.

“Yea I’m fine, what did I trip- Oh my gosh!” Clyde said as he saw Rarity laying on the ground. Clyde quickly went over to her and tried to wake her up. “Rarity, wake up! Come on Boo, wake up!” He said shaking her.

“Mmmmm, five more minutes darling.” Rarity said half asleep. Clyde sighed in relief and smiled.

“Sleep as long as you want.” He said before putting Rarity on his back.

“Sure brings back memories, I don’t think I’ve carried you home like this since we started dating.” Clyde said as he began walking.

“We should tell the others about what happened today.” Wolfurio said.

“You’re right, but that can wait right now Li-I mean Rarity in my only concern.” Clyde said hoping Wolfurio didn’t catch his slip up.

“I understand, let’s get her home then.” Wolfurio said. Clyde nodded and continued to walked.

“I can’t believe the witch got to you.” Rainbow said angrily as she and the other Rainbooms went over what happened to Rarity a few days ago. Skyress then jumped onto her partner's shoulder.

“Don’t get too worked up Rainbow, that’s just what Lilac wants.” She said.

“Skyress is right Rainbow and besides I’m fine.” Rarity said.

“That maybe, but that girl’s got some nerve to come up and attack you.” Rainbow said crossing her arms.

“Not only that, Neon attacked Clyde in the park and almost took Wolfurio away from him.” Sci-Twi said.

“That maybe, but thanks to the battle we know that the ‘Doom Card’ has a loophole.” Twilight said.

“If there is a strong bond between the bakugan and the brawler, the card only activates if the player's life falls to zero.” Sunset said.

“That gives us a small advantage, right?” Pinkie asked.

“Yea, but we have to very careful and be on guard at all times.” Twilight said.

“She’s right, we already know Neon and this IIfrit guy are working with Lilac. Who know’s how many more lackeys she could have waiting in the wings.” Applejack said.

“Lilac said that there is more to this than we all think and that has me worried.” Sunset said looking down. Before anything else could be said, there was a knock on the front door.

“Hold on guys.” Sunset said as she got up and walked over to the front door.

“Who is it?” She asked. “Open the door Shimmer, we need to talk.” Sunset recognized the voice and opened the door to reveal Adagio, Aria and Sonata.

“Hey, what are you guys doing here?” Sunset asked in a confused tone.

“Like I said, we need to talk. Can we come in?” Adagio asked.

“Uh sure, come on in.” Sunset said stepping out of their way. The Dazzlings made their way in and walked to the living room.

“Girls, we got company.” The girls turned to see the Dazzlings walking in.

“Well, this is unexpected.” Fluttershy said.

“You’re telling me, what are you girls doing her?” Rainbow asked.

“We need to talk about that Lilac girl, we heard from the boys that Clyde and Rarity were attacked.” Adagio said as she and her sisters took a seat.

“Funny, we were just talking about her.” Pinkie said with a smile.

“Then that saves us time, we want to help you all take her down.” Aria said crossing her legs. The Rainbooms were shocked by Aria’s words.

“Really, I thought you three would want to stay out of this.” Twilight said.

“Normally we would, but we can see that you all can’t handle this on your own this time.” Adagio said crossing her arms.

“She’s right, That girl is literally leaking dark magic and it’s way beyond anything you’ve faced.” Sonata said in a worried tone. The Rainbooms looked at one another before Sunset spoke up.

“She’s right, we’re going to need all the help we can get on this one.” She said. After a few seconds, Coredom, Linehalt, Strikeflier, Rubanoid, Skyress, Akwimos and Helios all jumped onto their respective partner’s shoulders.

“Oh now you guys want to join the conversation?” Aria said.

“This isn’t the time Aria.” Linehalt said.

“Linehalt’s right, we need to focus.” Rubanoid said.

“Thank you Rubanoid. Tell me girls, have you heard of the Legendary Dragon?” Linehalt asked. The Rainbooms perked up.

“Yes Rubanoid was telling us about him yesterday. He died protecting New Vestroia right?” Rainbow asked.

“That is correct, he was the strongest and wisest Bakugan in New Vestroia.” Linehalt answered.

“Yes we know the story, but what does he have to do with anything?” Rainbow asked.

“Well, we might need his help.” Linehalt said. Everyone looked at the Darkus Bakugan with confusion.

“I'm sorry Linehalt, but isn't he kinda dead?” Sonata asked. Linehalt then looked to Rubanoid.

“I see you didn't tell them the whole story.” He said.

“We were busy, I couldn’t finish the whole thing.” Rubanoid growled.

“Then allow me to fill in a few blanks. Yes the legendary dragon maybe dead but what most bakugan don't know is that he and his wife had a child before his fight with Naga.” Linehalt explained. The girls eyes all went wide after hearing that, but they let Linehalt continue “He was a Dragonoid like his father and his name was Pyrus Neo Dragonoid.” He said. Twilight didn’t know why, but she felt strange after hearing that name.

“Pyrus Neo Dragonoid.” She thought to herself.

“So what became of him, you know after his father died?” Applejack asked. Linehalt sighed and looked to his friends.

“As you can imagine, he took the loss of his father really hard. So ever since that day, he’s been training intensively so that he can follow in his father's footsteps. He vowed that he would do anything to protect New Vestroia, even if it cost him his life as well.” He said. The girls all felt sad for the Pyrus Dragonoid.

“I can only imagine how much pain he must have been in.” Fluttershy said in a sad tone. Aria then looked to Linehalt.

“So, you think the son can help us?” She asked.

“Maybe, I heard that he and his mother are now living in a place on earth called Vanhoover.” Linehalt said. Pinkie then stood up with her usual smile on her face.

“That’s great! All we need to do is go to Vanhoover, find the Legendary Dragon’s son and ask him to help us. Piece of cake.” She said as she actually pulled a piece of cake out of thin air.

“Um Pinkie, I’m not against your idea, but-” “Vanhoover, is like a week away from here and if we leave Canterlot that Lilac girl will get to do whatever she want.” Rainbow said cutting Sunset off.

“Dashie’s right, we can’t leave the city unprotected.” Fluttershy said in a serious tone.

“Then we won’t.” Everyone turned to Adagio who had a smile on her face.

“I suggest we split into two teams, one stays here and the other goes to find Neo Dragonoid.” She said. The others thought about this before answering.

“I don’t know, we all work better when we’re all together.” Rarity said. Aria rolled her eyes and spoke up.

“I know you all are about the whole ‘Magic of Friendship’ thing, but that’s not going to cut it this time around. You’re all going to have to rely on yourselves and your partner bakugan. One day, you’re going to have to battle alone without people cheering you on.” She said in a harsh tone. The Rainbooms all looked down.

“She’s right, we need to do this.” Sci-Twi said.

“I agree, we do.” Sunset said.

“Then what are we waiting for let’s get a move on.” Rainbow said standing up.

“Slow down there Dash, we can’t just leave right now we need to plan for this.” Applejack said pulling Rainbow back down to her seat.

“She’s right Dashie, that and we can’t just skip school.” Fluttershy said. Rainbow just rolled her eyes.

“We need talk to Principal Celestia, she’ll understand if we explain the situation.” Rarity suggested.

“Hopefully so tell me, if the Principal says yes who going to go find the Dragonoid and who’s staying here?” Aria asked curiously.

“Good point, who’s going where?” Sci-Twi asked.

“I thought about.” Everyone turned to the Equestrian Princess.

“It’s best if we take some of our heavy hitters with us to find Neo Dragonoid, so Me, Sunset, Applejack, other me and Rainbow head to Vanhoover and Adagio, Sonata, Aria, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie stay here with the school.” She said.

“WHAT!” Pinkie yelled.

“Calm down Pinkie, I’m sure there will be plenty of action right here in town.” Rarity said patting her friend on the back.

“I guess.” Pinkie said with small pout.

“As much as I would like to see this Dragonoid myself, I think the teams are a good idea.” Adagio said. Aria, Sonata and Fluttershy nodded in agreement.

“Sweet let’s head to the school, Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna Should still be there.” Sunset said standing up. Everyone nodded and began walking out of Sunset’s apartment.

“Stop laughing you bastards!” Neon said angrily as Noteworthy, IIfrit and Ledger were watching a replay of his battle with Clyde.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA, I could watch this over and over all day and laugh every time.” Noteworthy said.

“Same here pal.” Ledger said with a snicker. IIfrit kept his comments to himself, but kept laughing.

“I’m not the only one who lost, what about IIfrit?” Neon asked glaring at his teammates. Before they could answer Lilac, Dr.Rex and Blueblood walked in.

“IIfrit was actually impressive in his battle against Rainbow Dash and he didn’t get overconfident like you did. Loss or not, he did well.” Lilac said smiling at IIfrit.

“I agree, Neon you need to start focusing on the battle instead of showing off.” Blueblood said with a smirk.

“What was that!?” Neon said angrily.

“Calm down kids, this is not time for us to be arguing amongst ourselves. It's time for your next mission, Noteworthy it’s your turn to have a little fun.” The Doctor said looking at one of his many monitors.

“Finally, so who am I taking on?” Noteworthy asked in an excited tone.

“First things first, Ledger and Blueblood you both are heading to Vanhoover.” Dr.Rex said. Ledger raised an eyebrow while Blueblood smiled.

“Very well, come on Ledger.” Blueblood said walking out the room.

“Sure, but why?”Ledger asked.

“I’ll fill you in on the way.” Blueblood said. Ledger just shrugged his shoulders and followed Blueblood.

“Now Noteworthy, you next target is right here.” Dr. Rex pressed a button and a picture appeared on one of the monitor. Noteworthy looked at the monitor and then back to the doctor.

“Why her?” He asked. “I have a new experiment I want to work on and I need you to bring data on this girls Bakugan partner back to me.” Dr.Rex explained.

“So basically don’t win, right?” Noteworthy asked.

“Correct.” The doctor said with a nod.

“Alright, later people.” Noteworthy said before vanishing in a bright flash of light. Lilac then turned to the good doctor.

“So what’s this experiment you’re talking about?” Lilac asked.

“I’d like to know myself.” Neon said walking forward. IIfrit was also curious, but kept to himself.

“Let’s just say, I have plans for this particular bakugan.” Dr. Rex said with a chuckle. Hydranoid and Ballista jumped onto a table in the room.

“What do you think about this experiment Hydranoid?” Ballista asked.

“I’m not sure, but-” Hydranoid was cut off by his partner picking him up.

“Come on Hydranoid, we need to get going.” Lilac said before walking out. While she was walking, Hydranoid forced himself out of Lilacs hand.

“ What’s the big idea Lilac?” He growled.

“Chill I just needed some distance from the others, We’ll be going to Vanhoover in a few days.” Lilac explained.

“What, why?” Hydranoid said in confusion.

“We’re going dragon hunting.” Lilac said with a chuckle.

“You all think the Principal will allow us to skip school for this?” Sci-Twi asked as she and the other girls walked to the Principal's office.

“Not really, but it’s worth trying.” Sunset said.

“And if she says no?” Aria asked with her arms crossed. Everyone stayed silent for a few seconds before Adagio spoke up.

“Let’s cross that bridge when we come to it, right now we need to-” Adagio stopped speaking and looked around the hallway.

“Dagi, you ok?” Sonata asked. Adagio didn't answer, she just kept looking around. Helios then jumped onto her shoulder.

“What is it Adagio?” He asked.

“I don’t know, but I feel like we’re being watched.” Adagio said. The rest of the girls began looking around as well.

“You think it’s one of Lilacs buddies?” Pinkie asked.

“I’m not sure, but-AHHHHH!” Adagio screamed as she fell through what looked like a black portal.

“ADAGIO!” Sonata and Aria yelled before running towards the portal, but before they could reach it it closed.

“Dagi!” Sonata said in a worried tone.

“Dammit Lilac!” Aria cursed.

“Split up, We’ll find her faster that way.” Twilight suggested.

“Everyone nodded and went their separate ways, but Pinkie and Sunset stayed with Aria and Sonata.

“Come on you two, this is no time to be beating yourselves up.” Sunset said putting a hand on Aria’s shoulder.

“Sunny’s right, we need to go.” Pinkie said putting an arm around Sonata. The two sisters looked at one another and they nodded.

“Ok let's go.” With that the four girls set off to find Adagio.

After Adagio and Helios fell through the black portal, they both found themselves in what looked like the schools basement.

“Are we under the school?” Helios asked.

“Don't know, don't care. We just need to find a way out of here.” Adagio said before she started walking through the basement, but as she took about two steps, her face collided with an invisible wall.

“Ouch, that the hell!” Adagio said holding her cheek.

“Sorry deary, but you won't be going anywhere.” Adagio turned around and saw Noteworthy standing behind her with a smirk on his face.

“Hey I know you, you're that guy that tried to break Mise and Octavia up.” She said.

“Ugh, are you guys still on that, I'm hurt.” Noteworthy said still smirking. Adagio just rolled her eyes at him.

“Just tell me what you want so I can leave.” She demanded.

“I’m just here to talk Dagi, no need to be so hostile.” Noteworthy said. Helios had finally had enough and spoke up.

“Enough, we don’t have time for your silly games.” Helios growled. Noteworthy chuckled.

“Chill out, I’m here to make a proposition.” Just as he said that, Noteworthy pulled the Doom Card out of his pocket and showed it to Adagio. Adagio saw the card and she wasn’t impressed.

“So you’re one of Lilac’s grunts, big deal.” She said crossing her arms.

“You bet it is.” He then threw the card to Adagio who caught it.

“I know all about you Adagio. How you were once a very powerful siren. You could bend people to your will without so much as a thought, and yet here you are spending the rest of your days with the very people you should be ruling over.” Noteworthy said shaking his head. Adagio narrowed her eyes and looked at the Doom Card.

“Get to the point.” She said. Noteworthy smiled.

“Alright, I want you to join us Ms. Dazzle.” He said. Adagio’s eyes widened.

“Why?” She said.

“Like I said I know a lot about you Ms. Dazzle and I believe you deserve more than what those so called friends can provide. Tell me something, how can you ally yourself with the same group of girls that defeated you and your sisters?” Noteworthy asked. Adagio didn’t answer, she didn’t have to explain herself to him. “Could it be because of that Daemon boy?” Noteworthy asked. Adagio then glared at the boy.

“Leave him out of this!” Adagio said angrily.

“Ooh struck a nerve I see, so he is the reason you’ve grown so soft.” Noteworthy said with a smirk.

“How dare you say that you little-” “You need to watch your temper.” Just then a white ball jumped onto Noteworthy’s shoulder. The ball then transformed into what looked like a wolf with multiple tails.

“Who are you suppose to be?” Helios asked.

“Allow me to introduce my partner, Haos Lumagrowl.” Noteworthy said gesturing to his partner.

“Now I propose we get down to business, as I said I want you to join us and reclaim what you lost at the Battle of the Bands.” He said.

“And what would that be?” Adagio asked.

“Your magic of course, The Rainbooms took that away from you and if you join us-” Before he could finish, Adagio threw the Doom Card back at him.

“No thanks, I gone this long without magic, and to be honest, I’m better off without it. I have a better life now and I’m not giving it up just to join some insane girl and her grunts.” Adagio said with determination in her voice. Noteworthy looked at the former siren for a few seconds before laughing.

“Can’t say I didn’t ask nicely, guess I’ll just have to take you by force.” He said pulling out his field card.

“Like that’s going to happen. Ready Helios!?” Adagio asked before pulling out her field card.

“Let’s do it, I wanna demolish him!” Helios growled.

FIELD OPEN!

As soon as that phrase was said, a big circle appeared underneath Adagio and Noteworthy and started glow. After a few seconds, Clyde, Neon and Lilac appeared in the colosseum.

The Bakugan Battle between Adagio and Noteworthy will now begin!

Noteworthy: 500

“Doom Card Set!” Noteworthy said throwing the doom card onto the field. The card then began to glow purple and insert itself into the field causing the entire coliseum to glow purple for a few seconds. “Gate Card, Set!” He said throwing another card onto the field. The card then glowed yellow and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared.

“Playtime Lumagrowl.” Noteworthy said with a smile.

“Then let’s go.” The wolf said. Noteworthy nodded.

“Bakugan Brawl!, Bakugan Stand! Rise, Haos Lumagrowl!” He said throwing Lumagrowl onto the field. Lumagrowl then transformed and a golden light enveloped him. Once the light died down, Lumagrowl’s true form could be seen.

“Come out and play Helios.” Lumagrowl said in a cocky tone. The comment only made Helios angrier.

“Adagio!”

“Let’s do it, Bakugan Brawl!” Adagio said throwing Helios onto the field. “Bakugan Stand! Rise Pyrus Helios!” Once she said Helios transformed and he was soon back in true form.

“I’m going to annihilate you!” Helios said glaring at Lumagrowl. The white wolf only rolled his eyes.

“We’ll see.” He said.

“A power of 900, that’s not too bad.” Adagio thought. Noteworthy saw the look on Adagio’s face.

“What’s wrong Ms.Dazzle, impressed by my Lumagrowl.” He said with a smirk.

“The only thing I’m impressed with is your courage to actually challenge me alone. Ability Activate: Maximum Quasar!” Adagio said holding up a card. Helios then opened his mouth and released a large torrent of fire from his mouth.

Lumagrowl: 900

Noteworthy just closed his eyes and allowed the attack to hit his partner. The flames soon engulfed Lumagrowl.

“Feel the burn wolfy?” Adagio asked in a cocky tone. Lumagrowl didn’t say anything, he just extended his 6 tails and let out a loud howl. After a few seconds, the flames dissipated and Lumagrowl was still standing without a scratch on him.

“What the hell!” Adagio said in shock.

“Impossible!” Helios growled.

“Is that all you got?” Lumagrowl asked.

“Because if it is, we’re disappointed.” Noteworthy said. Adagio gritted her teeth.

“We’re just getting started! Double Ability Activate: Nova Defenser plus Void Stream!” Adagio said holding up two cards. Helios opened his mouth a red crystal ball covered in three rings of flame formed and he fired it at Lumagrowl.

“That’s more like it, Ability Activate: Arcadia Sword!” Noteworthy said. Lumagrowl’s tails extended once again only this time they all fired multiple swords of light at Helios.

Both the swords and the red crystal ball collided and caused a small explosion. Adagio and Noteworthy shielded themselves.

“Dammit.” Adagio said looking back to the field. Noteworthy also looked back to the field and he smiled.

“You ok Ms. Dazzle?” He asked. Adagio didn’t answer, she just pulled out another card.

“Ability Activate: Blaze Blasphemy!” She said. Helios’s body began to glow and his wings were engulfed in flames.

“You’re going down!” Helios said charging Lumagrowl.

Lumagrowl: 600-500=100

Helios then raised his claw and brought it down slashing Lumagrowl across the face. Lumagrowl was sent back a few feet, but he remained standing.

“Hold on Lumagrowl, Gate Card Open: Aquos Battle Audience!” Noteworthy said. The field began to glow and starting to fill with water. Adagio and Noteworthy both jumped onto the colosseum bleachers to escape from the flowing water.

“Dammit.” Adagio cursed. She then looked to the field and saw Helios drowning in the water. “HELIOS!” She yelled. Lumagrowl was also in the water, but he wasn’t drowning. After a few seconds, his entire body turned blue and he began swimming towards Helios.

Lumagrowl: 100

Adagio only watched as he partner was drowning. “Fight fire with water I alway say.” Adagio looked up at Noteworthy who was smiling. “You know I expected more out of you Adagio. Ability Activate: Spiral Blade.” He said. Lumagrowl was soon covered in a blue aura and before Adagio could blink Lumagrowl was right behind her partner.

“HELIOS LOOK OUT!” She yelled. Helios tried to move, but it was too late. Lumagrowl used his tails and stabbed literally stabbed Helios in the back.

“RAAAAAAAAH!” Helios screamed before turning back to ball form and rolled over to Adagio.

Lumagrowl: 100+300=400

Adagio quickly picked up her partner. “Thank Faust, you didn’t go to the Doom Dimension.” She said. Lumagrowl also went back to ball form and landed in Noteworthy’s hand.

“I’m….alright, don’t worry.” Helios said. Adagio sighed in relief.

“Ms. Dazzle, I’m offering you a chance.” Adagio glared at Noteworthy. “Give up now and join us.” He said holding out his hand.

“No way in hell pal.” Adagio seethed.

“Oh come on, just think of it. You could finally rule this world as you were always meant to. You’d be powerful enough to take Equestria if you wanted. And the best part, the Rainbooms wouldn’t stand a chance against you.” Noteworthy said. Adagio opened her mouth, but Helios spoke up first.

“When will you get it through your thick skull, we’re not interested.” He said angrily.

“You’re a fool Helios, you’re not even considering the possibilities. You could be one of the most powerful bakugan ever, and yet you choose to stay loyal to those worthless Battle Brawlers.” Lumagrowl said. Adagio and Helios were now silent, they both thought about what Noteworthy and Lumagrowl said.

“You’re wrong.” Adagio said finally speaking up.

“She’s right, they’re not worthless. If they were, they wouldn’t have gotten as far as they have.” Helios explained.

“That’s right, me and my sisters tried and failed to take this world, and I think it was for the best. We’re happy, I’m happy and I’m going to protect that happiness we all have now! Gate Card Set!” Adagio said as she threw a card down on the ground. The card then began to glow red and grew until it covered the entire field.

“Bakugan Brawl, Helios Stand!” Adagio said throwing Helios back onto the field.

“Come on Lumagrowl, I’m ready for you!” Helios said. Noteworthy put his hand down and shrugged his.

“Well it looks like they won’t listen to reason.” He said.

“I guess not, let’s go!” Lumagrowl said.

“Right, Bakugan Brawl! Lumagrowl Stand!” Noteworthy said throwing Lumagrowl back into action.

“Bring it on Helios!” Lumagrowl said.

“Time to teach you some respect! Ability Activate: Mars Reaper!” Adagio said holding up a card. Helios’s body was soon covered in a black flame and his eye turned pure white.

Helios charged Lumagrowl at full speed and before the wolf knew it he was sent flying into the colosseum walls.

“How’d you like that!?” Helios said with a chuckle. Noteworthy gritted his teeth and pulled out a card.

“Ability Activate: Gleaming Lance!” He said. Lumagrowl stood back up and was now covered in a golden aura.

“You’ll pay for what you just did to me!” He said before tackling Helios to the ground and biting his neck.

“UGH! Get off me you mutt!” Helios said before kicking the wolf off of him.

“Alright, Double Ability Activate: General Quasar plus Fusion Ability: Omega!” Adagio said holding up two cards. Helios began to inhale and then released a large ball of fire from his mouth.

The fireball hit Lumagrowl and he was engulfed in flames only this time it hurt him.

“RAAAH!” He screamed.

“Lumagrowl! Ability Activate: Deadly Fantasma!” Noteworthy said. Lumagrowl opened his mouth fired a golden beam of light at Helios.

Lumagrowl: 1200+400=1600

Helios saw the beam heading towards him, so he held out his claws and began blocking the attack. “I won’t lose, do you hear me!” Helios said as he struggled to hold the blast back.

“What now Adagio, I’m over 500 points and Helios is getting overpowered. What will you do?” Noteworthy asked with a smirk.

“I’ll show you what I’ll do! Gate Card Open: Change Link Force!” The field began to glow and Helios felt the pressure of the golden beam weaken.

“What the- what’s going on!?” Noteworthy asked in a confused tone. Adagio just smiled.

“Wait for it.” She said. After a few seconds, the golden beam made a quick u-turn and returned to the wolf that fired it.

“Wait Wh-” Lumagrowl was cut off as his own attack hit him square in the face.

“What did you do?” Noteworthy asked. Adagio began laughing.

“You really don’t know, well I guess I’ll explain it to you. Change Link Force is a command card that reverses your opponent's ability effects.” she explained. Noteworthy glared at the former siren.

Lumagrowl was lying on the ground with his eyes closed, after a few seconds he returned to ball form and rolled over to Noteworthy. “Darn.” He said picking up Lumagrowl.

Helios then returned to ball form and landed in Adagio’s hand.

“You were great.” Adagio said with a smile.

“Thanks.” Helios said. Adagio then looked at Noteworthy.

“Got anything to say now?” She asked him.

“Yea, Gate Card Set!” Noteworthy said throwing a new card onto the field. “Bakugan Brawl!” He said throwing Lumagrowl back into battle.

“Guess he’s not in a talking moon anymore, let’s keep it that way.” Adagio said still smiling.

“Right.” Helios said.

“Bakugan Brawl!” Adagio said throwing Helios back into battle.

“No more playing around Lumagrowl, Ability Activate: Wolf Howler!” Noteworthy said. Lumagrowl let out a loud howl that sent shockwaves throughout the field.

Adagio didn’t flinch, she stood tall with smile on her face.

“Helios, get moving!” She commanded. Helios nodded and he slowly walked toward Lumagrowl. Noteworthy saw this and he glared at Helios.

“Acting tough won’t help you, Ability Activate: Lumen Charge!” He said holding up a card. Lumagrowl quickly extended his tails and fired six beams of light at Helios. The beams all hit Helios and caused a massive explosion.

Noteworthy smiled at the display. “Well that’s that.” He said.

“You think so.” Adagio said through the smoke of the explosion. Noteworthy raised an eyebrow at her comment.

“What do you-No way!” Noteworthy said as he saw a shadow through the smoke closing the distance between it and Lumagrowl.

“Ability Activate: Maximum Quasar!” Adagio said. Before Lumagrowl knew it he was hit by a stream of fire that came from the smoke and he was sent back a few feet.

“GAH!” He screamed in pain.

“Lumagrowl!” Noteworthy yelled.

“Wow, you’re 1000 points ahead of us and you still can’t take us down. Talk about pathetic, so much for all that power talk.” Adagio said in a cocky tone. Noteworthy balled his hand into a fist and growled. The smoke cleared and Helios could finally be seen.

“You’re not looking too good there Lumagrowl, allow me to put you out of your misery.” Helios said in a dark tone.

“I’m not losing to the likes of you, Noteworthy do it!” Lumagrowl said in a angry tone.

“Got it, Gate Card Open: Character!” The feild began to glow and soon a picture of Lumagrowl was now underneath them. Lumagrowl was then covered in a golden aura and his eyes turned red.

“Impressed now, The character card-” “Doubles the power level of the bakugan shown on the picture. I know this, just get on with it.” Adagio said in an annoyed tone.

“Fine, I’ll end this! Ability Activate: True Illumination!” Lumagrowl’s Aura began glowing even brighter and he began charging Helios.

“It’s over Ms. Dazzle.” Noteworthy said with a smile. Adagio looked at the score and she took a deep breath.

“Helios?”

Adagio pulled out a new ability card, but this one looked different...almost evil looking.

“We’ve never used this card, are you sure you can handle it?” Adagio asked her partner. Helios looked at his partner out the corner of his eye.

“You’ve never doubted me before Adagio, so why start now?” He asked. Adagio smiled at her partner.

“Forgive me Helios.” She said before throwing the card at Helios.

“Ability Activate: Nova Blazer X!” Adagio said. The card Landed on Helios’s chest and soon Helios’s entire body was being covered in purple marks.

“What the heck?” Noteworthy asked himself. Lumagrowl didn’t let what was happening stop him.

“Whatever you’re planning won’t work, this is over!” He said before jumping in the air and bringing his claws down on Helios.

“You’re right it is over.” Helios said before catching Lumagrowl mid-air.

“WHAT!” Lumagrowl and Noteworthy yelled in shock. Helios looked at Lumagrowl with pure rage in his eyes.

“I told you this before, I’m going to Annihilate you!” Helios said as the purple markings disappeared and his entire body began to bulk up.

“What’s happening?” Noteworthy asked as he took a step back.

“Nova Blazer X, is a forbidden ability card that only Helios can use. It pushes Helios’s power beyond his limit so he can overpower any opponent.” Adagio explained. Helios then threw Lumagrowl into the Colosseum wall.

“Lumagrowl!” Noteworthy yelled in a worried tone.

Lumagrowl tried to pick himself up, but Helios Stepped on his head to keep his down. “Say goodnight Weakling!” Helios said before hitting his opponent with a fireball at close range and causing a massive explosion.

“AHHHHHHH!!” Lumagrowl howled in pain. Noteworthy and Adagio shielded himself from the blast and they both waited for the smoke to clear. Once it cleared, Helios was standing over a bruised and beaten Lumagrowl.

“Get out of my sight you mangy mutt.” Helios said before kicking the wolf away. Lumagrowl soon went back to ball form and rolled over to Noteworthy.

“Lumagrowl!” Noteworthy said picking up his partner. Helios also returned to ball form and landed in Adagio’s hand.

“Overkill much?” Adagio asked her partner.

“He deserved it and you know it.” Helios said.

As soon as that was said the entire field started to glow and began to disappear. Adagio and Noteworthy were now back in the schools basement.

“I win creep.” Adagio said.

“That you did, you’re free to go.” Noteworthy said as the force field around them began to disappear.

“Free at last, come on Helios.” Adagio said walking away.

“Ms. Dazzle-” “I’m done talking to you Noteworthy, now go and go and cry home to Lilac.” With that Adagio left. Once he thought Adagio was really gone, Noteworthy smiled and looked to his partner who was lifeless in his hand.

“No need to play dead anymore, get up Lumagrowl.” Noteworthy said. Lumagrowl then jumped onto his partner's shoulder.

“Well, that was easy enough!” He said with a chuckle.

“That it was, we got the data and had a good battle. I say today was a good day.” Noteworthy said with a smile.

“Agreed, I do get to fight him seriously next time right?” Lumagrowl asked.

“If we get the chance, then yes.” Noteworthy said before disappearing in a flash of light.

Location:Outside of Canterlot High

“Did anyone find her?” Sonata asked. Everyone shook their heads.

“UGH! I knew it, I knew we shouldn’t have gotten involved with this!” Aria said angrily.

“Calm down Aria.” Linehalt said. “How do you expect me to calm down, my sister is gone and-” “Ari Chill.” Sonata said putting a hand on her sister's shoulder.

“We get that you’re worried Aria, but getting upset isn’t going to do anything.”Sunset said in a stern tone.

“Let’s take another look around, she has to be somewhere.” Rarity Suggested.

“Good idea, let’s-” “I told you it was this way, but no you told me to make a left.” Everyone immediately recognized that voice and ran to where it was coming from. Once they got over there, the group saw Adagio (with helios on her shoulder) walking out of a entrance that lead to the schools basement.

“DAGI!!” Sonata yelled before running up and tackling her sister.

“Whoa!” Adagio said as she was forced to the ground.

“Oh Dagi, we were so worried.” Sonata sobbed. Akwimos then leaped out of Sonata’s pocket.

“Yo Helios, where have you two been?” He asked.

“Underneath the school fighting one of Lilacs goons.” Helios explained.

“I knew Lilac had something to do with this!” Aria said crossing her arms.

“You must have won the battle since you still have Helios.” Rainbow said. Adagio finally pushed Sonata off of her and stood up.

“Yea, it wasn’t too difficult.” She said dusting herself off.

“Now come on, we need to get to Principal Celestia.” Adagio said walking past the group.

“Aww come on, you’re not going to tell us how you won?” Pinkie asked.

“I’ll explain on the way.” Adagio said. The girls all looked at one another before following the former siren. Helios landed back on his partner's shoulder.

“Are you ok?” He asked.

“I’m fine, it’s just I feel like things are about to get even worse.” Adagio said in a serious tone.

“I understand, but we can handle it.” Helios said trying to reassure Adagio.

“Please Principal Celestia, innocent bakugan are a stake.” Sunset said. She, the rest of the Rainbooms and the Dazzlings were explaining the situation to their Principal.

“I had a feeling the girl from the tournament would come up again and from what you’ve told me she’s up to something big.” Celestia said crossing her arms.

“Yes, that’s why we need your permission to leave for a while. We might have found someone who can help us.” Princess Twilight said. The principal contemplated this for a moment before speaking again.

“I feel even if I said no, you all would just go anyway. So, I’ll grant you all permission to leave.” Celestia said with a smile.

“YES!” THe girls cheered.

“One condition though, those who are going will have to make up all the work they missed in school in detention.” Celestia said still smiling.

“Alright, tomorrow morning we all should start packing.” Applejack said before taking a sip of her milkshake.

“Me and my sisters will book a train for all of you, with our connections you can leave tomorrow night and arrive in Vanhoover in about 4 days.” Adagio said.

“I know how you feel, but without bakugan partners Pinkie I doubt we’d be much help.” Rarity said looking down.

“Pinkie raised an eyebrow and looked around. Everyone, even the Cakes looked at her as if she had lost it. Pinkie face became red in embarrassment and smiled sheepishly.

“Hehehehe….sorry.” Pinkie said getting off the table and sitting back down. Rarity and Fluttershy chuckled.

“I...I should be asking you that. When Clyde told us you were taken by Lilac, I was afraid she might have hurt you.” Fluttershy said trembling a bit. Rarity saw the girl trembling and quickly put her arms around her.

“I’m fine, you don’t have to worry about me. I may not show it off like Rainbow Dash or Applejack, but I’m a tough cookie when it come to brawling and I’ll prove it to her next time…. if she doesn’t knock me out that is.” Rarity said with a confident smile. Fluttershy smiled back.

“I don’t care Preyas, He’s should show he sister some respect.” Elfin said. The one now known as Preyas chuckled again.

“Respect has to be earned.” He said. Elfin just turned around and pouted.

“Well I don’t know about you three, but I’m thinking about crashing that party the pink one was talking about.” Lythirus said in a mischievous tone. The Bakugan Trap then got in front on Lythirus and shook his head.

“Epsilon’s right,that’s not a good idea.” Preyas said. “Aw come on Preyas, the pink one said she was going to get Vinyl and Gaige and if I remember right those are the names of the partners of a two old friends of mine.” Lythirus said.

“Are you sure about that?” Elfin asked.

“It was nothing, Miss Dazzle was quite easy to manipulate. Getting her and Helios to draw out their true power was a piece of cake.” Noteworthy said with a smile. Lumagrowl then jumped onto his partner’s shoulder.

“Helios think’s he’s so great, that cocky attitude of his is going to be his downfall.” He said with a chuckle.

“And with this data you’ve given me, his time will come sooner than he thinks.” The doctor said.

“Can you finally tell us why you need this data then?” Noteworthy and the doctor turned to see Neon and IIfrit walking in.

“I told you it’s a surprise Neon, you all will understand soon. Noteworthy come with me, I have another assignment for you.” The doctor said as he began walking into another room. Noteworthy shrugged his shoulders and followed.

“Hey, what are we supposed to do?” Neon asked. The doctor stopped walking and thought for a minute.

“We’ll Blue and Ledger are heading to Vanhoover and Lilac is off in the city somewhere. I really don’t have anything for you both to do, I guess you’re free for the day.” With that the Doctor left the room with a smug Noteworthy behind him. Neon was absolutely pissed.

“That’s complete Bull!” Neon said before punching a wall.

“Calm down, getting angry isn’t going to do anything but give you a headache.” IIfrit said patting his comrade on the back.

“What, you’re not mad that we’re being pushed to the side.” Neon said turning to IIfrit. IIfit thought about this for a minute.

“We’ll kinda, but it’s not like we can do anything about it. You heard the doctor, everyone else is off doing something else and-” “Well screw the doctor and the others, I’m in the mood for some action.” Neon said cutting IIfrit off.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea, remember what happened when you fought Clyde?” IIfrit said scratching the back of his head.

“And remember when you and Ballista fought Rainbow?” Neon countered. Ballista then jumped onto IIfrit’s shoulder.

Pinkie was always one to go overboard for a party, but this this she might have crossed the line. The entire park looked like the carnival had come to town. Streamers through every trees, Balloons on the benches, 12 tables filled with food and desserts and to top it all off she had 5 party cannons lined up for some unknown reason.

“She’s not wrong.” Just then a blue bakugan ball jumped onto Vinyl’s shoulder.

“Just let Pinkie do her thing guys, you’re acting like this party won’t be epic.” The Aquos bakugan said.

“Tristar’s right, Pinkie does know how to throw an amazing party.” Vinyl said with a smile.

“Aww thanks.” Pinkie said smiling back at Vinyl.

“Are we going to talk all day or are we going to finish setting up?” Gaige asked. Soon another blue ball jumped onto Gagie’s shoulder.

“She’s right back to work slackers.” The new Aquos said.

“Who died and made you boss Elico?” Tristar said angrily.

“Chill out you two, the last thing we need is for you two to start a brawl right now.” Vinyl said.

“She’s right, cool down Elico.” Gaige said scolding her partner.

“HMPH!” Elico and Tristar said turning away from each other.

“It’ always something with those two.” Lemon said with a chuckle.

“Yup, come on let’s get this done and then we can get this party started.” Lemon said. Everyone nodded and quickly got back to work on the party. Vinyl then checked her Bakupod for the time.

“Pinkie, it’s Twelve-Thirty we need to pick up the pace.” She said.

“Got it!” Pinkie said running over to a random tree. Then from behind the tree she she pulled out a mini party cannon.

“STAND CLEAR!!” Pinkie yelled as as she fired her cannon. The others quickly took cover behind Vinyls mixing table and after a few seconds they looked up to see heart shaped ice sculptures of every table, a 6 layer red velvet cake in the center of each and for some unknown reason Pinkie was wearing the waitress outfit and roller skates she wore to work.

“How did-” “It’s Pinkie Pie, don't question it.” Gaige said cutting off her partner. Elico didn’t question any further. Pinkie began skating around the park with a huge smile on her face.

“Alright everything is set up and everyone should be arriving right about-” “Hey Pinkie!” Pinkie spun around and saw the Brawlers, the Dazzlings, the Shadowbolts and the PomE boys all walking up.

“Hey guys!” Pinkie said waving her hands. Everyone looked around the see the whole park was...Pinkified. Swift Justice then walked up to Pinkie.

“Pinkie don’t you think this is a bit-” Swift was quickly cut off by a crushing hug by Pinkie.

“Nope, this is all completely necessary.” She then let go of him.

“You should know me by now Swifty, When I do something I do it big.” Pinkie said before skating away.

“Your girlfriend’s weird.” Zero said.

“Yea, but that’s what I love about her.” Swift said with a smile.

About three hours had past since the party started and everyone was enjoying themselves...well except for Eclipse. He’s been sitting under a tree all by his lonesome the entire time, the others tried to approach him, but he just told them all to leave him be.

“You need to stop moping?” Eclipse looked up and saw Midnight with a concerned look on her face.

“What I need is for everyone to leave me alone.” Eclipse said glaring at Midnight. Leo the jumped onto Midnight’s shoulder.

“Enough Eclipse, you’re acting like a child. You lose one battle and you act as if it’s the end of the world! Well it's not, but unless you get over this it might actually be!” He said angrily. Eclipse chose to stay silent. Midnight then glared at the boy.

“You know what fine, stay in your bad mood!” With that, Midnight walked away and left Eclipse alone.

“You ok?” Leo asked.

“No I’m not!” Midnight answered.

With the Dazzlings

The three sirens were sitting at a table talking about their future plans. “Are you sure we should be partying right now, I mean we're still in danger.” Aria said before taking a bite out of her cake.

“Why not, we probably won’t get his chance again once the true battle starts.” Adagio said.

“She’s right Aria, we might as well enjoy ourselves while we can.” Sonata said. Just then, Helios, Akwimos and Linehalt jumped onto the table.

“This isn't going to be an easy fight though, Lilac and her minions aren’t pushovers.” Linehalt said.

“I may have beat him, but i have to admit Lumagrowl and his partner were formidable.” Helios said.

“Wow, how much of your pride did you swallow to say that Helios.” Akwimos said with a chuckle.

“I’m sorry, did you say something Akwimos?” Helios growled. Akwimos quickly hid behind Linehalt.

“Chill out bro, I was just messin’ around.” He said. Linehalt just shook his head at his friend's behavior.

“Can we be serious please?” He asked. The three sirens all laughed at their partners.

“Maybe you’re right, we should enjoy this.” Aria said with a smile.

With the Battle Brawlers

“Pinkie this is great!” Rainbow said after drinking a bottle of apple cider.

“Agreed, You’ve really outdone yourself this time dear.” Rarity said with a smile.

“Thank you, thank you! I do what I can to make everyone smile.” Pinkie said skating around again. Just then she felt a pair of arms around her.

“And you do a pretty good job of it.” Pinkie looked up to see Swift smiling at her.

“I know!” She said giggling. A few of the boy walked over as well.

“So you girls are leaving tonight?” Clyde asked.

“Yea, we need some special help if we’re going to fight Lilac.” Sunset said. Soul writer then walked up to Sunset.

“What we’re not special enough?” He said with a smirk.

“Soul, I hate to say it but you’re not the best brawler around.” Sunset said smirking back at Soul.

“I’m better than Zero.” He said

“We’re all better than Zero.” Rainbow said causing everyone to snicker.

“HEY!” Zero yelled angrily.

Everyone began to laugh at the boy's outburst.

“You all sure know how to party!”

“I know right!’ Pinkie said with a smile, but it quickly vanished when she realized she answered a male voice she didn’t recognized.

“Ummm, who said that?” Pinkie asked. Everyone even Eclipse stopped what they doing and looked around for the mysterious voice.

“Who ever you are come out now or you’re going to smacked down!” Rainbow ordered. Skyress then jumped onto Rainbow’s shoulder.

“Calm down Rainbow.” She said.

“You should listen to your partner there skittles.” This time it was a female voice who spoke. Elico and Tristar jumped onto their respective partners shoulders.

“Tristar you don’t think-” “I was just about to say the say thing dude. Tristar said understanding where Elico was going with is this. Vinyl and Gaige both looked at their partners in confusion.

“What are you two talking about?” Vinyl asked.

“I’d like to know myself.” Gaige said. Elico and Tristar both nodded and spoke up.

“Lythirus, is that you?” They both asked. Just then four aquos bakugan landed in front of everyone.

“Elico, Tristar, it’s so good to see you two again.” Lythirus said. Elico and Tristar went over to their old friend and did their version of a high-five.

“It’s been too long old friend, How have you been?” Elico asked.

“Been really good, i’ve been traveling around with a few friends of mine.” Lythirus said with a chuckle. Before anything else could be said vinyl spoke up.

“Umm..Tristar, you mine introducing us to your friends here?” She asked.

“Oh yeah, sorry dudes. This is our old friend Lythirus, He grew up with me and Elico back in New Vestroia.” Tristar explained.

“It’s nice to meet you all,I hope you don’t mind me and my pal intruding on your little party.” Lythirus said with a slight bow. Pinkie then skated up to Lythirus and his friends.

“Of course, the more the merrier I always say.” She said in a cheerful tone.

“Thanks alot, let me introduce me pals. This is my older sister Elfin.

“Nice to meet you all.”

“Her mate Preyas.”

“How’s it going party people?!”

“And the Trap is Epsilon.”

Epsilon just bowed.

Sunset then walked up the four Aquos bakugan.

“It’s a pleasure, make yourselves comfortable.” She said with a smile.

“Yea, this party is going on until 9! So we have plenty of time to get to know you all.” Pinie said still smiling. Elfin and Epsilon then approached Pinkie.

“Oooh I like this girl, positive and energetic just like me!” She said. Epsilon nodded in agreement. Pinkie then took the female bakugan and the trap into her hands.

“I think the three of us are going to get along just fine.” She said.

“Well, if the introductions are done I say we-” “GET THIS PARTY REALLY STARTED!” Lemon Zest yelled. Preyas then looked over to the girl.

“Hey, that’s my line!” He said getting in the girl's face.

“Sorry buddy, but it’s my line.” She said with a smirk.

“You can’t be serious!” Preyas said. Lythirus just watched their friend argue with green haired girl.

“Wow CosmicAlchemist is really having them start their future partnership like this, so cliche.” Lythirus said shaking his head. Treble immediately looked to Lythirus and ran over to him.

“You can see past the Fourth Wall.” He whispered to him. Lythirus looked at him in surprise.

“What you mean you can too?” Lythirus asked. Treble nodded and Lythirus jumped on to Treble’s shoulder.

“Thanks for the new partner Cosmic.” He said. “Yea, thanks.” Treble said with a smile.

CosmicAlchemist: What did I just do?

“You just created the best team in this story.” Treble said.

“Oh yeah!” Lythirus cheered. Everyone just stared at two as if they were crazy.

“Oh joy, two of them.” Warhawk said shaking his head. While everyone was having fun and getting to know the new bakugan, two more party crashers were about to make themselves known.

“Are we really doing this?” IIfrit asked.

“Yes! For the hundredth time, Yes!” Neon said angrily. IIfrit opened his mouth again, but quickly shut it knowing this was his last chance to change Neon’s mind.

“It’s no use pal, he’s not going to listen.” Ballista said.

“Yea I know, let’s just get this over with.” IIfrit said with a sigh.

“Took the words right out of my mouth.” Neon said holding up his Doom Card. The card then begins to glow bright purple causing a black mist to leak out of it.

“It’s payback time.” He said with a twisted smile. Back at the party, Sunset, Princess Twilight and Sunset all felt a familiar chill up their spines.

“Twilight did you-” “Yea I did.” Twilight said in a frightened tone. The rest of the Brawlers raised their eyebrows.

“What are you two talking about?” Rainbow said. Skyress then spoke up.

“Something’s wrong Rainbow.” She said in a serious tone. Coredom then jumped onto Applejack’s shoulder.

“I’m sensing a huge amount of negative energy.” He said. The other bakugan also sensed the disturbance. Suddenly and without any warning, the entire group was trapped in a black dome.

“AHHHH I”M BLIND!!” Pinkie screamed.

“Pinkie, we’re just in some sort of black dome calm down.” Elfin said.

“AHHHHHHH!” Fluttershy screamed as she held on to Rarity.

“It’s ok dear, everything will be ok.” Rarity said comforting her friend.

“Ok seriously, what’s with the dome.” Preyas asked curiously.

“I have a pretty good idea, who trapped us in here.” Sunset said.

“I think we all do.” Warhawk said angrily.

“Hello kiddies.” Everyone looked around, but all they could see was darkness.

“You know we can’t see you right, how about a little light?” Clyde asked.

“Still a smartass I see, eh Clyde?” Clyde knew the voice right away and narrowed his eyes.

“Language Neon.” Another voice said scolding the other. Rainbow balled her hand into a fist and she growled.

“Get out her IIfrit!” She said. Just then a familiar full moon appeared above the group and revealed Neon and IIfrit.

“Hello all, hope we’re not interrupting.” Neon said with a smirk. IIfrit just shook his head and looked the the group.

“I’m saying this right now, I’m just along for the ride.” He said. Clyde and Rainbow both stepped forward.

“If you two really want your butts handed to you again, then bring it.” Rainbow said as she and Clyde took their respective partners into their hands.

“Sorry kiddies, we’re not here for you today.” Neon said before looking at Treble who just rolled his eyes.

“Are you still mad about that ‘fight’ we had a few months back.” Treble asked.

“I don’t think that fight even exists any more Treble, remember your author is remaking your story right-”

CosmicAlchemist: Lythirus I swear one more word and i will take you out of this story.

“Fine, fine!” Lythirus said.

“Enough of your nonsense Mix, Are you going to battle me or what?” Neon asked. Treble thought about this for a minute.

“Nah I’m good.” He said before walking over to a table and grabbing a cookie. Neon just stared at the boy in shock.

“WHAT!” She yelled.

“I said I’m good, battle someone else.” Treble said before taking a bite out of a cookie. Neon just looked at the in shock while IIfrit just snickered.

“Well that’s that, can we go home now?” He asked. Neon glared at the boy.

“We’re not going anywhere, until he’s in the dirt.” Neon then stepped forward only to be cut off by Pinkie.

“Hey, you’re ruining my party and I worked really hard on it.” Pinkie said in a stern tone.

“You think I care about your silly party, well I don’t. So move it or you’re the one who’s ass i’m going to kick.” Neon said angrily. Swift was about to intervene but Pinkie held up a hand stopping him.

“Ok then, if that’s the way you want it.” Pinkie then pulled off her waitress outfit and underneath was a light blue short sleeve shirt, and a purple skirt held up by a dark red belt.

“Then I guess i’ll have to show you who I handle unwanted guests.” She said before putting on a pair of dark fingerless gloves on.

Elfin and Epsilon floated over to Pinkie. “I like your style kid, let me and Epsilon help take this guy down.” Elfin said. Pinkie smiled at the female bakugan and the Trap and took them into her hands once again.

“Sure, this is gonna be fun.” She said. The rest of the group were still worried, it was still two on one and they knew Pinkie couldn’t handle it alone.

“She can’t do this alone.” Rainbow said.

“She won’t have to.” Everyone turned to Preyas who floated over to Lemon Zest. “Hey, what’s your name again?” He asked.

“Lemon Zest.”

“Listen, I know we haven’t known each other long, but-” “I’m in!” Lemon said cutting off Preyas.

“Really, just like that?”

“Just like that, Pinkie’s my pal and I’m not letting her get hurt.” Lemon said smiling.

“And that Elfin is your mate right, so you have to protect her.” She said.

“Yea I do, thank you.” Preyas said with a bow. The group smiled at Preyas’s loyalty to Elfin.

“That’s so sweet.” Fluttershy said. Lemon then walked up to Pinkie.

“Mind if I cut in?” She asked.

“Not at all, let’s do this.” Pinkie said.

“Elfin, Epsilon, you both ready?” Preyas asked.

“You bet.” Elfin said in a cheery tone. Epsilon nodded in agreement.

“Fine, let’s just get this over with.” Neon said holding up his field card. IIfrit just shook his head and pulled out his own field card.

“Be careful Pinkie.” Swift said in a worried tone.

“You too Lemon.” Heavenly Quill said equally worried. Pinkie and Lemon both gave them thumbs up and took out their cards.

FIELD OPEN!

After a few seconds, Everyone appeared in a sort of colosseum. Pink and Lemon were staring down Neon and IIfrit on the field, while everyone else was in the bleachers watching.

“Treble why didn’t you accept the battle?” Sunset asked.

“Other than the fact Cosmic made me refuse, I didn’t want anymore problems with Neon than I already do.” Treble said looking down. Everyone was shocked Treble was barely ever serious, so seeing him like this was a bit surprising.

“It’s about to start.” Lone said.

“Good luck Pinkie, you too Lemon!” Sonata cheered.

The Bakugan Battle between Pinkie Pie and Lemon Zest VS. Neon and IIfrit will now begin.

“Doom Card Set!” Neon and IIfrit said throwing their doom cars onto the field.

Lemon stepped forward and pulled out a gate card. “I’ll open, Gate Card Set!” She said throwing a card onto the field. The card then glowed blue and began to expand until it covered the field and disappeared.

“Alright Preyas, let’s go!” Lemon said.

“Let’s get er done!” Preyas said in a western accent.

“Bakugan Brawl, Aquos Preyas stand!” Lemon said throwing Preyas into battle. Preyas’s ball transformed and was soon replaced with his true form.

“Ding dong, Aquos Preyas is here to ring your bells.” Preyas said while doing a strange pose. Neon looked at the bakugan with a raised eyebrow.

“What a clown, you handle him.” Neon said to IIfrit.

“Hey, i’m you back up remember.” IIfrit said crossing his arms.

“Ugh fine, Bakugan Brawl, Altair Stand!” Neon said throwing the mechanical monstrosity into battle. Once Altair’s true form was revealed, it let out a loud cry causing everyone to cover their ears.

“So that’s Altair?” Sci-twi asked looking at the mechanical bakugan with interest. “Yup and trust me it’s no pushover.” Clyde said remembering his last battle with Neon.

“Hopefully, they can handle it?” Aria said.

“Let’s get this going, Ability Activate: Thunder Flare!” Neon said holding up a card. Altair aimed it’s tail at Preyas before firing multiple shots of electricity from it.

Preyas: 600-200=400
Altair: 700+200=900

“Ability Activate: Wave Shield!” Lemon said. Preyas held out one hand and formed a blue shield around himself to block the attack.

Preyas: 400+200=600
Altair: 900-200=700

“She nullified my ability.” Neon said.

“No shit, dummy!” Lemon said with a smirk. Neon growled and pulled out too cards.

“Double Ability Activate: Thunder Booster plus Shock Cannon!” He said. Altair opened his mouth and began charging his attack all the while his wing were firing multiple streams of electricity at Preyas’s shield

Preyas: 600-300=300
Altair: 700+300+500=1500

“Aww nuts!” Preyas said struggling to hold the shield the was slow breaking from Altair’s attack.

“Damn it’s only the first round and Neon pulled out a combo that powerful.” Rarity said.

“He’s not playing around, he wants to end this as soon as possible.” Warhawk said crossing his arms.

“I hope Lemon doesn’t give him the satisfaction.” Indigo said. Just then, Altair finished charging his attack and fired a massive green laser at Preyas.

“Lemon, a little help would be nice.” He said.

“I’m on it, Ability Activate: Aquos Guardian!” Lemon said. Preyas then felt a tremendous flow of energy fill his body and his shield began to glow brighter. The laser then hit the shield and bounced right off of it.

“WHAT!” Neon yelled in shock. The laser made it way back to Altair knocking him out of the sky and onto the ground. Preyas then lowered his shield and smiled.

“Well, that’s going to hurt in the morning.” He said with a chuckle.

Preyas: 300+300+200=800
Altair: 1500-300-500=700

“That was EPIC, Preyas you're Awesome!” Lemon said in admiration.

“Tell me something I don’t know pal.” Preyas said putting up a peace sign. Neon growled and looked at IIfrit.

“I thought you said you were my backup, do something will you!” He said.

“Alright relax, come on Ballista. Bakugan Brawl, Ballista Stand!” IIfrit said throwing his partner into battle.

“I guess this will be fun.” Ballista said appearing in his true form.

“Two on one already, fine bring it!” Preyas said in a cocky tone.

“Ability Activate: Marine Cannon!” IIfrit said. Balista quickly fired a large torrent of water from his mouth towards Preyas.

“Oh no you don't, Ability Activate: Blue Stealth!” Lemon said.

“Here I go, now you see me.” Just then Preyas vanished into thin air causing Ballista’s attack to his the colosseum wall.

“Now you don’t.” Preyas said.

“What the- where is he?” IIfrit asked.

Preyas: 800+200=1000
Altair and Ballista: 1600-400=1200

“Oh he’s around.” Lemon said with a smirk. Pinkie looked around the whole field, but couldn’t find preyas.

“I don’t see him.” She said.

“That’s the whole point.” Elfin said.

“You can’t see me, nah nah nana nah!” Preyas said from somewhere. It took a while, but everyone finally knew what was going on.

“The mans invisible that’s brilliant.” Artemis said with a smile.

“That’s right Blue Stealth an ability that only Aquos Preyas can use, not only does he become invisible, he also takes 200 points away from each enemy bakugan.” Lemon explained.

“WHAT!?” Neon yelled.

“Wow nice move.” IIfrit said impressed.

“Thank you, Ability Activate: Blue Whirlwind!” Lemon said holding up a card. Preyas (Still invisible) ran behind the two enemy Bakugan and created a small water tornado in his hand.

“Get ready, because here's the pitch.” He said before throwing the small tornado at Altair and Ballista. The tornado then got bigger as it neared the two opponent and soon they were trapped inside it.

“Ballista!” IIfrit said in a worried tone. Ballista and Altair couldn’t move the tornado was too powerful for them.

Preyas: 1000+300=1300
Altair and Ballista: 1200

“Damn, Ability Activate: Sanctuary Protection!” Neon said. Soon a green orb surrounded Altair and Ballista allowing them to get their barings. The tornado soon disappered and Preyas turned visible again. “Aww I thought that would have done the trick.

“Uh-oh.” Preyas said.

“Aww and he was doing so well.” Twilight said.

“I know, but you have to admit Preyas is a very powerful bakugan.” Adagio said slightly impressed.

“He may joke around alot, but Preyas is the stongest Aquos I know.” Lythirus said. Pinkie looked on in awe.

“He’s so cool.” She said.

“Oh please, you should see me in action.” Elfin said.

“Good point, you ready to help out?” Pinkie asked.

“You better believe it.” Elfin said.

“Bakugan Brawl, Aquos Elfin stand,” Pinkie said throwing Elfin onto the field. Elfin transformed onto the field and after a bright blue light flashed for a few seconds she was back in her true form. She looked like she was a cross between an amphibian and a fairy with a long tail, wing-like flippers, and webbed hands and feet

“Sun, wind, and rain combined! Aquos Elfin is about to beat you down!” Elfin said in a confident tone.

“Welcome to the party, partner,” Preyas said with a smile.

“Thanks for the invite!” Elfin replied.

Altair and Balista: 1600

“So what, one more means nothing,” Neon said angrily.

“It actually could mean a lot,” IIfrit said, shaking his head.

“Wow Elfin, you’re so awesome!” Pinkie said with stars in her eyes.

Elfin gave Pinkie a peace sign. “Thanks sweetie,” she said.

Neon growled. “Let’s just see how tough you really are. Ability Activate: Spinal Saucer!” He held up a card. Altair’s wing began to glow and before long two glowing rings appeared out of nowhere. “Fire!” Neon commanded. The two rings shot from Altair’s wings and headed straight for Preyas and Elfin.

“Pinkie Pie!”.

“I got your back Elfin, Ability Activate: Blue Shield!” Pinkie held up a card. Elfin held out both of her hands and formed a blue shield around herself and Preyas. The two rings bounced right back to Altair. The rings collided, and Altair returned to ball form.

“The hell!” Neon yelped. “YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!” Neon picked up Altair, his fist clenching.

“Not only that, it was just a defense card. Impressive,” Helios said.

“That’s my Girl!” Swift said cheering Pinkie on. IIfrit turned to Neon who was still growling.

“Well done Neon! Now I’m alone!” IIfrit yelled, slightly annoyed with his partner.

“It’s not my-”

“Yes it is! Now shut up so me and IIfrit can fix your mess,” Balista said finally getting serious. Neon was about to say something but IIfrit quickly held up a card.

“Ability Activate: Bubble Rush!” Ifrit called. Balista held out his hand and a flurry of bubbles soon surrounded Preyas and Elfin.

“Watch out! Those bubbles are dangerous!” Pinkie said, trying to warn the Aquos couple. But it was too late. The flurry of bubbles made contact with the two and began exploding. Preyas and Elfin both yelled in pain before falling to the ground.

“What the hell?! Bubbles are suppose to be fun, not dangerous!” Lemon said in shock.

“I said the same thing when I first saw that ability. You got a plan?” Pinkie asked in a serious tone.

“No, but I can buy us some time. Gate Card Open: Forcement Wind!” Lemon commanded before the field began to glow bright blue. Elfin and Preyas felt some of their power come back and they both slowly stood up.

“What’s that’s card do?” Sonata asked.

“Forcement Wind is a command card where the power levels go up by the number of bakugan with the same attribute times 100,” Sci-Twi explained.

“In english.” Rainbow said.

Sci-Twi rolled her eyes. “Basically, they just gained a bunch of points.”

“Ok that was….intense,” Elfin said taking a deep breath.

“I know what you mean. Thanks for the save Lemon,” Preyas said to his partner.

“Don’t thank me just yet. This guy may be on his own, but he’s still dangerous,” Lemon said.

IIfrit began to smile as he held up two cards. “She’s right Preyas. That Gate Card may have saved you, but it won’t happen again. Double Ability Activate: Aqua Jet plus Assault Tsunami!” Balista raised both raised his fist into the air and brought them down, hitting the ground. The field began to break apart, and out of the cracks a huge tsunami wave appeared behind Balista. Balista was then covered by the wave and disappeared.

Preyas and Elfin:1700-600-600=500

“Keep your Eyes open Girls! The ‘Aqua Jet’ Ability raises Balista’s speed!” Rainbow said.

“Thanks for the advice, but we’re more worried about the GIANT WAVE HEADING TOWARDS US!!!” Lemon yelled.

“You’re right to scared of the wave, but I’d be a little more worried about Balista,” IIfit said. Pinkie and Lemon’s eyes widened when they saw Balista appearing behind Elfin and Preyas.

“Preyas!”

“Elfin!”

Both Bakugan turned their head only to receive punches to the face sending them into the tsunami.

“AGH!” Elfin and Preyas tried to get their bearings, but Ballista wasn’t going to let that happen. He began attacking them from all sides, disappearing and reappearing before either Bakugan could even react.

“Hold on. They’re both Aquos Bakugan. This should be a day at the beach for the two of them, right?” Applejack asked.

“While that is true, you have to remember the power difference. The higher the power level, the stronger the attack. And right now Balista’s power is well over 500,” Sour explained.

“Those two better think of something or this is going to be one short partnership.”

Treble and Lythirus watched the battle feeling slightly guilty about not accepting the challenge earlier.

“Treble, l think we should get in there,” Lythirus said.

“Don’t worry Cosmic. They’ll pull something out before the two of us will have to enter,” Treble said, hoping he was right.

“Dammit.” Lemon cursed.

Pinkie had had enough of this and pulled two cards out of her pocket. “Okay, this isn’t fun anymore. Double Ability Activate: Glowing Cascade plus Ocean Monsoon!”

Elfin’s body was soon covered in a blue aura. “I love the water, but right now it’s not my best friend!” Elfin screamed as her Aura expanded covering the entire field. Everyone shielded their eyes from the bright blue light and once it began to die down everyone was shocked with what they saw.

Elfin and Preyas: 500+400+300=1200
Balista:1500-600=1100

The entire field had been cleared of water and Balista was standing behind IIfrit.

“What just happened?” Soul asked in confusion.

“Glowing Cascade nullifies the abilities of every Bakugan on the battlefield, and Ocean Monsoon brings all power levels of every Bakugan on the field back to their base levels,” Lythirus explained. After that explanation, everyone looked at Elfin with wide eyes.

“Wow….she’s kinda-”

“Powerful.” Adagio said cutting Aria off.

“Yeah...powerful.” The twin-tailed siren said. Back of the field, Elfin was breathing heavily and fell onto her knees.

“Are you alright?” Preyas said going over to Elfin.

“I’m….ok….just...give me….a few seconds.” Elfin said still breathing heavily.

“Those abilities must have taken a lot out of her.” Lemon turned to Pinkie. “You’d better be careful, Pinkie,” she advised. “Elfin might not be able to handle double abilities just yet.”

“You’re right. I’ll tone it down a bit,” Pinkie said. IIfrit and Neon still had shocked looks on their faces.

“Well that was unexpected,” IIfrit said crossing his arms.

“That’s a strong Aquos. Still think you can take them?” Neon asked.

IIfrit smiled. “Four words my friend. Ability Activate: Hydro Crusher!” He held up a card. Balista jumped into the air, turned his body to the side, and cupped his hands. “Open wide!” He said before extending both of his hands and releasing a bright blue energy beam.

Elfin and Preyas:1200-600=600
Balista: 900

Preyas knew Elfin couldn’t move yet, so he held her tight and braced himself. The beam hit the Aquos couple and caused a massive explosion.

“ELFIN!” “PREYAS!”

Everyone in the bleachers flinched, knowing that both Bakugan weren’t going to endure that attack.

“Dash, I hate to say it, but I think IIfrit might have been holding back on you,” Sunset said. Rainbow didn’t need anyone telling her this, the look of pure hatred on her face was enough to tell that she already knew. The smoke from the blast disappeared, and Balista was the only one on the field. Elfin and Preyas were rolling over to Pinkie and Lemon who quickly picked them up.

“I might have overdone it a bit,” Balista said before returning to ball form and landing in IIfrit’s hand.

IIfrit looked to Neon who had his arms crossed.

“Not one word,” Neon said in an annoyed tone.

IIfrit just snickered.

Lemon and Pinkie held their partners in their hands.

“Are you two ok?” Lemon asked in a worried tone. Elfin and Preyas transformed.

“We’re fine, but that really hurt,” Preyas said.

“That was my fault. I didn’t know you couldn’t handle double abilities yet.” Pinkie sighed guiltily

“Hey, cheer up sweetie. It’s fine,” Elfin said, trying to cheer her partner up. “I just need to practice it a bit more. Right now we need to focus on the battle, and looking sad isn’t going to help.”

“She’s right. Come on let’s smoke these turkeys!” Preyas said.

Pinkie and Lemon looked at each other before smiling.

“They’re right! Let’s take these guys out!” Lemon said with determination.

“Oh yeah! Let’s go!” Pinkie said. Neon and Balista saw that both girls had confident looks on their faces.

“Oh. Looks like they’re not done yet,” IIfrit said.

“Good, because it’s payback time! Gate Card Set!” Neon threw a card onto the field.

“Bakugan Brawl, Altair Stand!” He said throwing Altair back into battle.

“Let’s rock,” Lemon said. Pinkie nodded.

“Bakugan Brawl! Preyas and Elfin, Stand!” Lemon and Pinkie said together as they threw their partners onto the field.

“This is going to be a interesting round. Bakugan Brawl, Balista Stand,” IIfrit said throwing Balista back into the battle. All four bakugan returned to their true forms and stared each other down.

“Mechanical Ventus Wired!” Neon threw Wired into the air allowing it to return to its true form. “Combination Formation!” Altair and Weird combined to create Meta-Altair.

“You can’t be serious! Look at their power level!” Sonata said, freaking out. Everyone else but Clyde were shocked by the cyber Bakugans power boost.

“That’s Meta-Altair. Apparently when Altair combines with Wired, it gets a 950 point boost,” Clyde explained, remembering his battle with Neon a few days ago.

“That’s insane. Lemon and Pinkie are both behind by over 1000. They won’t be able to catch up,” Aria said, worried about the two aquos brawlers.

IIfrit looked at Meta-Altair before speaking up. “And you didn’t use this in round one why?”

“I never got the chance! Shut up! Ability Activate: Lightning Lance!” Neon held up a card. Meta-Altair quickly opened his mouth and fired a green laser at Elfin and Preyas.

“Aww Nuts!” Preyas and Elfin said.

“Ability Activate: Aquos Guardian!”

“Ability Activate: Blue Shield!”

Seconds before the laser made contact, a bright blue shield appeared in front of Elfin and Preyas, protecting them.

“Okay that was close,” Elfin said.

“You’re telling me,” Preyas said.

Meta-Altair and Balista:2950-400=2550

“I don’t think my heart can handle this anymore,” Rarity said putting a hand over her chest.

“I know what you mean, this is getting intense.” Eclipse said. Treble knew they weren’t going to win alone, so he stood up and began walking.

“Treble, where are you-”

“Take a wild guess.” Treble said, not turning around.

Back on the field, Pinkie and Lemon were weighing their options.

“So how are we going to get out of this?” Lemon asked.

“I’m not sure but-” Before Pinkie could finish her sentence she felt thing land on her shoulder. She looked to see Tripod Epsilon. “I’ll be honest I completely forgot you were here. You wanna join in?” Pinkie asked with a smile.

Epsilon nodded and jumped into Pinkie’s hand.

“Let’s do this! Bakugan Trap: Aquos Tripod Epsilon!” Pink said throwing the trap into the air. After a few seconds, Epsilon was back in his true form of...a blue bipedal shaman frog?

Everyone looked at the frog on the field and had differing opinions.

“That’s Tripod Epsilon?” Sunset asked.

“I was expecting something….cooler,” Aria said disappointed.

“Aww, he’s so adorable,” Fluttershy gushed.

Neon began laughing at Epsilon to the point of falling on the ground. “Oh sweet Faust, I’ve never seen a more ridiculous looking Bakugan!”

“You are such a child,” IIfrit said, shaking his head.

Epsilon had a sad look on his face.

“Hey, don’t let that creep get to you! You’re adorable and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!” Pinkie said encouraging the blue frog.

Epsilon smiled and nodded.

“So I’m guessing you have a plan now?” Lemon asked.

“Oh yeah. Follow my lead,” Pinkie said with a grin.

Elfin, Preyas and Epsilon:1600+400=2000
Meta-Altair and Balista: 2550

“Double Ability Activate: Haos Ability: Glow Snail plus Shooting Stardust!” Pinkie said holding up two cards. The snail on the leaf Epsilon was holding began to glow and a golden aura enveloped Elfin’s body.

“Hold on. I thought Elfin couldn’t handle double abilities.” Lemon said in a worried tone.

“Not alone. But with a friend she’s got this,” Pinkie said. Elfin charged Balista with great speed, and without warning she began rapidly punching him.

“BALISTA!” IIfrit yelled, worried about his partner.

Neon smirked. “Not so fun when it’s your Bakugan getting beat up. Ability activate-”

“Water Refrain!” Lemon cut Neon off.

“Time for you both to take a time out!” Preyas said, holding out both of his hands and covering both Altair and Balista in a blue aura.

“W...what did you do?” Neon asked.

“Water refrain blocks you from activating any abilities for a while,” Lemon said. “Pinkie go for it!”

“You got it! Subterra Ability activate: Desert Marine!” Pinkie said. The snail on Epsilon’s leaf began to glow a light brown, and both he and Elfin begin to glow the same color.

“I feel amazing! Come on, Preyas!” Elfin said.

Preyas nodded and both Aquos jumped into the air and drop kicked Balista hard onto the ground, causing Balista to cry out in pain. Epsilon raised a hand and fired a stream on water at Meta-Altair, causing it to fall as well.

“You better do something,” IIrit said to Neon.

“Calm down I got this. Gate Card Open: Land Pressure!” The field began to glow and Elfin, Preyas, and Epsilon felt tremendous pressure that forced them to the ground.

“What the!” Lemon said in shock.

“I know this command card. It manipulates gravity to leave the opponent immobile,” Sunset explained.

“I think I know what he’s trying to do.” Clyde said.

IIfrit smiled at Neon. “Not a bad move, now all we have to do is wait for-”

“Water Refrain negated!” The Bakupod said.

“That. Ability Activate: Marine Cannon!”

Balista got up and fired a torrent of water from his mouth knocking Elfin, Preyas, and Epsilon in to the colosseum wall.

Elfin, Preyas and Epsilon: 2800-500=2300
Meta-Altair and Balista: 2250+500=2750

The Aquos trio were still on the ground because of the gate card.

“This isn’t looking looking good,” Preyas grunted, still struggling to get up.

“I can see that. Pinkie a little help please!” Elfin said.

“I got your back! Ability Activate: Clear Snail!” Pinkie said. The Snail began to glow bright blue, and the pressure on the Aquos trio was transferred over to Altair and Balista.

“AAAH! WHAT THE!” Balista said struggling to get up.

“What did that overgrown frog do?!” Neon asked spastically.

“It’s an ability called ‘Clear Snail’. It bounces the Gate Card’s effect back to the users side,” Pinkie explained.

“How’s it feel to be useless?” Lemon teased.

Neon and IIfrit gritted their teeth. The Aquos trio quickly got up and they began stretching.

“WOO! That was intense,” Elfin said cracking her knuckles.

“I know what you mean. And now I think it’s payback time,” Preyas said with a evil smile on his face.

Epsilon nodded in agreement.

“If we’re going to do this, we should do it in style.” Elfin and Preyas began to glowing pure white, blinding everyone. After a few seconds, the glow died and everyone’s eyes widened.

“Oh yeah! Nothing like an ‘Attribute Change’ to get you going in the morning!” Preyas said. Everyone gasped ss both he and Elfin were now Darkus.

“What the hell?” Sunset asked in confusion.

“They...they changed their attributes without a ‘Battle Audience’ card!” Sci-Twi said.

“But how? That’s not possible!” Sunny said.

Helios jumped onto Adagio’s shoulder.

“Actually, it is. I’ve heard stories of certain Bakugan who can change their attribute at will. I’ve just never seen it done in person,” he explained.

Strikeflier jumped onto Sci-Twi’s shoulder. “I wonder how the battle will change now that they have changed attributes,” he said with interest.

Sci-Twi looked at her partner with a raised eyebrow. “You want to battle them, don’t you?”

Strikeflier turned away. “You can’t prove anything.”

Back on the battlefield, Neon was freaking out over Elfin and Preyas’ sudden change. “What….how….I...they...WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?” he yelled in confusion.

“I believe they changed attributes,” IIfrit said in a calm tone.

“But they can’t do that!” Neon said.

“Apparently they can. Now can you stop freaking out? Because they’re about to counter attack,” IIfrit said slightly annoyed.

Pinkie and Lemon looked at their partners with huge grins on their faces.

“You never told us you could change attributes!” Pinkie said.

“You never asked, sweetie,” Elfin said.

“Who cares if they didn't tell us! You know how many possibilities just opened up? We can technically use all six attributes now!” Lemon said jumping up and down.

“That’s right Zesty! Now let’s teach these jokers a lesson!” Preyas said ready to attack.

“You got it pal! Ability Activate: Whirl Kick!”

Preyas jumped into the air, did a front flip, extended his left leg, and headed straight for Balista.

“I’m right behind you Preyas! Pinkie!” Elfin said.

“I got you! Ability Activate: Moon Rainbow!” Pinkie said.

Elfin’s hands began to glow and she aimed at Altair.

Elfin, Preyas and Epsilon: 2300+400=2700
Meta-Altair and Balista: 2750-400=2350

Preyas dropkicked Balista on the head sending him into further into the ground, and Elfin struck a strange pose and fired a purple energy beam at Altair. Both Balista and Altair returned to ball form after the Aquos couple’s attack and rolled over to Neon and IIfrit.

“OH COME ON!” Neon yelled before picking up Altair and Wired. IIfrit picked Balista up as well.

“You ok?” He asked.

“Yeah, but that was one hard hit to the head,” Balista said. Elfin, Preyas, and Epsilon also returned to ball form and landed in their respective partners hands.

“You three were amazing!” Pinkie said.

“Are you really that surprised? I told you we kick butt,” Elfin said in a cocky tone.

“Don’t get to overconfident, Elfin. We still got another round to go,” Lemon said.

“She right,” Preyas said.

“Bakugan Stand!” Everyone said, throwing out their partners.

“Wired Stand, Combination formation!” Neon threw out Wired and creating Meta-Altair.

“You wanna play that game, Neon? Fine. Bakugan Trap: Aquos Tripod Epsilon!” Pinkie threw Epsilon into the air. All the bakugan were soon back in their true forms and the final battle was about to begin.
