An evil dark magic changeling named Black Lightning and his mortal enemy Stargazer fight.
An alicorn and her enemy fight. Her enemy, Black Lightning, wipes her memory, grabbed a few of her special feathers, and knocked her out cold. He then turned her into a filly, and teleported her a long way from her home, Los Pegasus. Will she ever gain back her memories, or live an empty existance, in an unfamiliar world???
It was a dark night in los pegasus, and stargazer was keeping guard on the perimeter of the city. The moon shone like a spotlight in a dark abyss, and the stars twinkled in the dark indigo sky. The sapphire-blue alicorn scanned the perimeter once more with a careful, watchful eye. A cloud passed by the moon in the star-streaked sky. She had heard that her old enemy, Black lightning, was returning. Black Lightning was an old pest, an evil changeling stallion that loved to terrorize the town, and pick on her. Today, though, she felt she was ready, should he happen stop by to cause trouble. The alicorn saw a black Pegasus approaching the perimeter, and quickly stopped to block the stallion's path. "State your business, Pegasus." "Oh, come on now, don't you try to look fierce again, Stargazer." Her eyes widened, as he dropped the disguise. Standing in front of the surprised alicorn guard, was the black form of Black Lightning.
Black Lightning laughed, as he approached.
"Sill ambitious as ever, I see. I don't think you ever learn."
"I'm not letting you come in. Last time, you forced your way in. I'm not letting you do that again."
"Who said you had to? I'll make a way in there!" he growled as he charged forward.
Stargazer moved to block his path, and kicked the changeling in the face. The changeling snarled as he stepped back, wiping a small amount of blood from his face. His green compound eyes were full of loathing, as he stared at the alicorn. A dark thought came to mind, as he teleported behind the alicorn. Before Stargazer could do anything, he blasted her with a stun spell. She fell with a gasp of surprise to the ground. "You foal! I'll get you for this!!"
He laughed evilly, and stepped closer, leaning his head close to stargazer's. "I don't think so, you alicorn pest. With you out of the picture,, I could do anything i want!" She broke his spell with a simple horn glow, and rammed her horn in his gut. He gasped in surprise, and fell limply to the ground. "You won't be coming back here any more." she said simply, and turned her back to the limp body, assuming that he was dead. But the changeling wasn't dead, as he picked himself off the ground. Her ram had missed the vital point of a kill, but he charged the surprised alicorn, knocking her to the ground. Almost immediately, he grasped a hoof to his bleeding injury. "H-how did you survive?" She stammered.
"You fell for the oldest trick in the book, Stargazer, but I'm gonna make sure you'll be the one that won't be returning here at all!"
He ignited his horn, and touched the point to Stargazer's. Stargazer's eyes widened, and with a simple flash, she fell unconscious..As her wings dissapeared, he grabbed a few of the five-colored feathers and turned her to a filly. To finish the job, He wiped all her memory, except for her name. "Now to make sure you stay gone!" he hissed, as he ignited his horn again in green magic. The filly disappeared in a white flash, and Black Lightning, who was injured, slinked back into the Everfree to dress his wounds.
There was a loud crash outside Twilight Sparkle's house. Twilight woke up with a start, and looked around.
"Spike did you hear that?" The baby dragon ignored Twilight, so she decided to investigate to what made such a loud sound. She passed a clock, that read 4:30am, and stared out the balcony at the stars winking in the sky above. what could make such a loud sound? she wondered as she looked around on the balcony. She spotted something small and blue in her tree, and she rubbed her eyes. could i be seeing things? she wondered, as she levitated the object out of her tree. When she caught sight of the object, she gasped.
It was a unicorn filly, her dark-blue mane a total mess. Her coat was saturated with dirt, and she was pretty beat up. She was unconscious, and hung limply in Twilight's magic. How'd a filly get in my tree? she pondered, as she carefully went back in, and placed the filly on a big pillow near her bed. She placed a blanket over the filly, and then promptly fell asleep back on her bed.
The next morning, Twilight got up, and brushed her mane. Afterwards, she checked on the little filly. The unicorn filly was still sleeping soundly, just like spike was. Okay, i've got to get a few things done, she thought, but i'll hurry back here, in case she wakes up. I've got a bunch of questions to ask her. Twilight put on her saddlebag, and promptly left.
It was some time later that Stargazer woke from her sleep. She rubbed her eyes, and looked around. Where the hay am I?? she thought, as she quickly got off the pillow. man, there's a bunch of books here.... Did i end up in a libary ar something?? Her head pounded, and she soon found that she had her side banaged. Twilight had cleaned and bandaged the filly, before she had headed out. Stargazer's thoughts were fuzzy, as she tried to remember how she got here, but the only awnser that popped up was her name: Stargazer. Stargazer got to her hooves, and began to explore the libary. She causiously looked at a window outside, staring at the number of ponies roaming about the town. Gee, that's a lot of ponies. she thought.
Suddenly, there was a pink flash of light, that slowly dissapeared, followed by a gasp of suprise from Stargazer. Twilight was back home.
Twilight was more than suprised. "Oh, you're awake!" she said with a tone of suprise, as she set her groceries down with magic in the other room. "Are you okay?" "Who areyou???" Stargazer asked confused. Twilight's hoof went to her face. "Sorry there. My name's Twilight sparkle, and i am a princess, but it doesn't mean much to me. heh, now i've got wings, big deal." she quickly got back to topic."Who are you, may i ask, and how'd you get in my tree?"
"I...I" stuttered the unicorn filly, backing up slowly, fear all over her face. "Oh, I didn't mean to scare you!" said Twilight sympethetically, puttling her stuff down, and slowly approached the trembling filly. "I need to ask you a couple of questions, but first... What's your name?" The little unicorn gathered up the courage, and said quietly "Stargazer." "Are you okay? You had a very nasty fall in my tree." asked Twilight, with a conserned look on her face. "Yeah... At the moment. Wait, how did I end up here? Where is this place?" said stargazer, with a suprised look on her face. "Oh gee," responded Twilight, a little suprised," You are in Ponyville, Home to the Elements of Harmony. This is my libary. I'm glad to see you're somewhat okay.. My name's Twilight Sparkle, and I'm a princess. Do you remember anything before the crash??" Stargazer's face contorted with thought, and she tried to remember, but only met fuzziness. "I'm afraid not, Princess Twilight." she said slowly. Twilight let out a small chuckle. "Call me Twilight, or Twi, for short." "Okay, Twilight." said Stargazer, with a small smile on her face. "Okay, so now what? This strange little town is full of ponies, and I don't know any of them." "Well," said Twilight, with a smile, "I know quite a few ponies that you'll like for sure. Come on, hop on my back, and I'll take you to them." Hell, things couldn't be any worse, thought Stargazer, as she and Twilight were soon soaring among the clouds.
"Wow!" exclaimed Stargazer,"This is really a great view!" Twilight smiled, and soon, they were landing, near Sweet Apple Acres. "Well, howdy Twilight. What goin' on?" An orange earth pony, with blond hair asked. Her words were said through a thick drawl, and ahe had three red apples for her cutie mark.
"Hey Applejack!" greeted twilight, as she landed on the ground, next to the earth pony. "Who Y'all got with you?" asked Applejack, staring at stargazer curiously. "This is stargazer- I found her last night tossed in my tree, hurt and everything. She has no idea how she got here, or anything." explained Twilight in a concerned tone. "Oh my, Twilight." replied Applejack, surprised, as she splayed her ears backwards," Who would do do such a thin' to a little filly?" Twilight just shook her head. "I don't know, Applejack." Applejack turned her attention to the unicorn filly, who was looking around curiously. "Howdy there. My name's Applejack." She extended a hoof for a hoof shake. Stargazer stared inquisitively at applejack, before she cautiously grabbed the mare's hoof, and shook it gently. "Welcome to Ponyville, Stargazer. This is Sweet Apple Acres, where the best apples in Equestria are grown. Since y'all new here, i'll let ya taste one." she trotted th an apple tree, and kicked it with one back leg. The apple fell in the mare's waiting hoof, and she handed the apple to Stargazer, watching expectantly.
Stargazer looked at the apple curiously, then took a hesitant bite. Wow! she thought, This tastes amazing! Her eyes widened in realization, as she chewed the apple. "This is delicious!" she said when she had finished. Applejack laughed,"Y'all see? Best apples in Equestria."
"Applejack!" shouted a little filly's voice from behind the mare,"I heard voices. Who is here?" "Who is this?" questioned stargazer confused. The little yellow earth pony turned to stare at stargazer."I'd like to ask y'all the same question there." "Applebloom, this is Stargazer. She is new to this town, and how she got here isn't pretty." said Applejack. "Stargazer?" asked applebloom curiously, turning to look at Applejack. Her red mane twirled with the action, with the pink bow in it. "Yes, Stargazer." replied Applejack, amused.
"Wow! I've never seen her before!" Exclaimed Applebloom, before she noticed that Stargazer had no cutie mark. "She doesn't have a cutie mark yet, i see..." said the yellow filly happily. "Does that mean..." Applejack laughed,"Yes Applebloom, she could join that club of yours. After all, you three fillies don't have your cutie marks either." "Yay!" cheered Applebloom, rearing up on her front legs for a second, before returning to the ground. "What's a cutie mark?" asked stargazer curiously. Twilight's hoof flew to meet her face. "I'll tell you later, okay?" "O-kay." said the filly slowly. "Well, thanks Applejack. We'll see you and Applebloom later." "Alrighty then. Come back soon!" chimed the two earth ponies, as Twilight took off. "T-Those ponies don't have wings, or a horn like you..." said stargazer confused. "That's because they're Earth ponies. They grow the crops for ponyville, so that everypony doesn't starve. Some earth ponies have a horn, and are called 'Unicorns', because they can do incredible feats of magic. Unfortunately, some just have basic levitation," said Twilight, as she flapped her wings. "Unicorns, huh? maybe i can do magic!" she chimed excitedly.
Twilight gave a small chuckle. "Not now. We're arriving at one unicorn's special shop, Carousel Boutique. Her name is Rarity, and she's a little on the fancy side, but kind." They landed at the entrance of the little shop, and twilight knocked on the door. "Comming!" said a voice behind the door, before the sounds of trotting, and the door opened, to reveal a white unicorn. Her mane was in her signature style, her cutie mark three diamonds. "Well hello there, Twilight. I see you got someone with you. What's the little darling's name, and... why is she bandaged?" said Rarity, as she looked at the unicorn filly curriously. "Yeah, i was just getting to that." said Twilight, a little annoyed. Rarity gave an embarrassed face. Twilight continued," She was found in my tree like that, and she looked awful. i cleaned her up as much as i could, Rarity, but it was early in the morning, and I did the best I could."
"Oh my goodness!" cried Rarity. "Well, i can see that she looks better now." "Her name is Stargazer." "What a fabulous name! Too bad she doesn't look too fabulous. Twilight, do you mind if i make her a dress to pretty her up?" Stargazer gave a groan of disappointment. "I don't wear dresses, Rarity." The fashionista stared at Stargazer with shock on her face."Don't wear dresses? My, you aren't very lady-like at all." "Do i have to act lady-like, Rarity? It's just not me." Stargazer stated plainly. "Well Rarity, we have to get going. Stargazer's going to meet Rainbow Dash next." "Oh, okay. Make sure to stop here later, if you want to catch up on things, Stargazer, and do be careful!" Twilight waved as she took off, and soared among the clouds.
They soon landed on a large patch of cloud. Pillars and buildings stood on them, while the place practically flowed liquid rainbows. "This is Cloudsdale." said Twilight, as Stargazer looked round. A grey Pegasus, with a blue mane, and a thundercloud with lightning flew up. "Hey Twi. Who's the little one?" Twilight stared at him annoyed. "Go away, Thunderlane." He ignored twilight, and zoomed next to the unicorn filly. "Hello there. You're looking at the one and only Thunderlane, one of the better pegasi of the air." Stargazer stared at Thunderlane in awe. "I'm Stargazer. Wow! I wish i could be like you!" she chimed, and lept off of Twilight's back. "No!" shouted Twilight, as stargazer's hooves met cloud. What happened next...She hadn't fallen through the cloud. "No what?" asked the confused unicorn filly. "O-only pegasi could stand on clouds! T-this is impossible!" stuttered Twilight. "Heh, you're getting more and more awesome by the minute, Stargazer. How 'bout we hang sometime?" said Thunderlane, as he flew by stargazer. "Sure! I'd love to!" "Later, Thunderlane. We're looking for Rainbow Dash." said Twilight, more annoyed this time. "Ptsh! whatever, bookworm." said Thunderlane, as he rolled his eyes, and flew off.
A blue pegasus, with prism colors in her mane, and a rainbow cutie mark that resembled a lightning bolt, flew up to the two ponies, which Stargazer had climbed upon twilight's back again. "Hey Twi!" She chimed casually, "Who you got with you?" "This here is Stargazer.: Twilight said casually. "Stargazer? This little filly?" asked Rainbow Dash, as she landed next to Twilight. "Sounds like too big of a name, for such a small filly.." "Hey!!" protested Stargazer angrily. "Just saying, sheesh. Don't get your jimmies all rustled. So, What's up?" Rainbow asked, rolling her eyes. "Well, Stargazer here has come into Ponyville in the most.... interesting way, Rainbow." The blue Pegasus raised an eyebrow. "Exactly how interesting?" Twilight looked annoyed at Rainbow. "She was teleported here, with some pretty nasty injuries." Rainbow dash looked at the filly with a concerned eye. "So I can see..." The small filly eagerly chimed, "Well, hello there!" "Hey kid!" Chimed back Rainbow Dash. "You feeling okay?" "Yep!" "You're one durable little filly!" Remarked Dash curiously as she gave a closer look at StarGazer. "She sure is." Commented Twilight thoughtfully. "Rainbow... she can stand on clouds..." "WHAT!?" sputtered Rainbow Dash incredulously. "Twi, are you serious?" Twilight nodded her head. "Only pegasi can walk on clouds, So either she's very light-boned, or i think she used to be a pegasus." Stargazer could only sputter. "Y-you're saying i used to have...wings!?" Twilight just giggled. "That's just a theroy. We don't actually th-- "You know, you could be right on that one, Twilight. I do remember the air."
Well, that-- SAY WHAT!?" sputtered Twilight surprised. Suddenly, Stargazer had a horrible headache, and she put a hoof to her head. W..what is happening? "You okay kid?" asked Rainbow Dash concerned. "No... i'm not.... I cant remember why, but I just... knew what flying was.... and it was weird.." "Flying? Did you perhaps have someone who showed you the sky?" Asked Twilight. Stargazer just shook her head, but all that accomplished was make her headache worse. "I...I can't think.. I have a really bad headache.." "Do you want a painkiller? It wasn't long ago that you came to us hurt..." "Rainbow Dash... You do not give a painkiller to a filly." "Sorry, sheesh." "It's okay guys, I'll be fine." Replied Starchase, a bit dazed. "Are you sure about that?" "I'm totally sure." "Okay...." Replied twilight uncertainty. :But if you remember anything else, let us know." "I shall." she replied confidently, as she looked to the sky. The sky.... a free place.... wait. something tells me I used to fly.. but I-- Why can't I remember!?
There was a long pause. "Rainbow, I think this is more serious than it looks."
Starchase was reading a book in Twilight's library. Out of earshot, Twilight and Rainbow Dash talked over their options.
"Rainbow, I think her memory is damaged beyond the normal measures. We must resort to other things, like someone familiar, or a familiar place. Maybe that's all it takes to cure her."
The day followed with much activity, but no more success. Night soon fell upon the land, blanketing everything in it's eerie comforting moon in the sky. Starchase sat by the window, pondering her thoughts as the stars sparkled in the dark sky of indigo.
This doesn't make any sense..... who am I supposed to be? ......Will I ever find out? But soon, her thoughts pulled her into a deep slumber, and soon, she was fast asleep.
It was a dark, dimly lit place, lit by the eerie faint glow of fireflies. The cool grass felt slightly moist with dew, and the dim air was silent... and warm. A faint breeze ruffled her mane. She looked around. The place was faintly recognizable to her.... a bit too familiar. She saw the sunset, the sky a beautiful golden orange red, blanketing the land in a faint glow of gold. Realizing she was outside, she gave a warm sigh as she enjoyed the stoic silence.... the eerie silence..... Suddenly, there was a flash of black.... pain lanced out of nowhere. She recoiled, and saw to her horror dark blood dripping off a fresh wound, a deep wound to the shoulder. She struggled with her confused mind to find out what happened. A pair of green compound eyes met hers, laced with the dark power of a dark magic user. She felt herself light her own horn in defense as she looked around for her attacker, full of terror. Fangs lashed out for her neck, and she felt them sink in. Something awful she felt burn in her blood..... the word blossomed into her thoughts. Poison. The hard armor weighed her down.... She couldn't get up, but couldn't see her attacker fully in the low light. She saw the attacker light his horn, and aimed it at her gut. There was a single low, evil hiss in the voice," You were a misssstake from the ssstart!" She felt the horn ram... make it's mark. She felt pain... unbelievable pain, and her vision blurred as she felt herself go numb. "Enjoy death..... NT001...." was the last thing she heard, before she felt herself falling... falling....
When she woke the next morning with a startled start, she realized none of this never happened. Or did it? That was too real... Her head gave a dull throb as she tried hard to figure this all out. It was a bit before she realized she was lying on the floor next to her bed. There was a soft knock at the door of the room she was in. "Starchase, are you awake?" Asked rainbow Dash's voice worriedly from the other side of the door. "I thought I heard something."
"Yeah..." replied Starchase, as she put a hoof to her head. "I just had a bad night, that's all. you can come in if you like."
Down underground, in a place under the Everfree, the dark changeling known as Black Lightning lurked. He had bandaged the wound after healing it the best he could with his magic, but he knew it would leave a scar. Letting an experimental clone out in the world..... who knows if she'll turn out to be the perfect demon I planned? ......or she'll meet that horrid Twilight with her 'words of guidance in friendship' garbage. He could only imagine the possibilities of NT-001 since she had left to pursue a pointless destiny. Once she found out what horrid creation she really was, she'd be crawling back on her furry belly. The thought brought an evil grin to Black Lightning's face. Let's see what you're capable of..... and show the world what you truly are....

Starchase woke, not relizing that Rainbow Dash was beside her. She gazed upon the landscape below with an awed expression. Here she had an amazing view of the entire town, down to the littlest detail. Movement caught her unaware as the rainbow-mained Pegasus broke the silence. "A bit early, don't ya think?"
"I.....I didn't know you were awake...." Starchase said akwardly.
"Relax. Twi said to keep an eye on you. How ya feeling kid?"
"Better than yesterday." She gave a small chuckle. "I'm starting to think I might not need all these bandages anymore." "Awesome kid. I'd race ya, but you don't have....." Rainbow Dash's eyes widened. What once was a little unicorn now stood a little pegasus, with slightly transparent feathers. "What's wrong Dash?" Asked Starchase. Rainbow Dash stammered her words. "I...I thought you were a unicorn...." "But I am a unicorn." Said Starchase with a confused expression. "What, did you honestly think I'd be mistaken for a....." She trailed off with wide eyes as she saw the wings on her back. "W....what happened to my horn!?"
