This is actually very well done! Discord, Being my Favorite Villain, is definitely feeling emotions I didn't think were possible, but they feel natural all the same. you've done well, and expect more outta you!

Ok this story has a lot of potential but I see two very glaring issues.
1. How is Celestia supposed to beat the Draconequuis? A single Draconequuis, Discord is like unto a God. He plunged the world into Chaos twice and it took the Elements of Harmony just to beat him.
2.Would Twilight and co really agree to imprison an entire species in stone or aid in their banishment? When for the last millennia, all they've done is mind their own business.
And would such an action not raise some sort of rebellious thoughts throughout the land? Discord misbehaves so she turns his race into stone and banishes the rest? Who's next? The Dragons (Fire breathing monsters.), Griffins (Another hybrid race.), Donkeys, Zebra,Buffalo or Diamond Dogs? I know it's nitpicky and this is all just from Discord's POV and anyone else Celestia sticks in her garden, but it's something that you should address and strengthen the believability of the story as a whole.
The story is still very good and well written, with a good premise, but these background issue's would really bother me as I read.

201264 No problem, it's always best to catch these problems early in the story. You could totally add a lot of depth to this story if Celestia is shown forcibly evicting a Draconequuis who is living peacefully amongst Ponies and actively living the life of harmony. If you're going for that Tyrant Celestia vibe. You could also have Luna trying to help some Draconequuis flee Equestria or trying to reason with her sister.
Of course all of this could be a big prelude to the arrive of *drum roll please* Daymare Sun/Queen Solar Flare. But I think that's probably a fic for another day

201569 By Daymare Sun/Solar Flare I mean a Celestia who has become as corrupt as Nightmare Moon. The names are two I recall cropping up in a lot of Tyrant Celestia/ Celestia turns evil stories. And figured you would probably recognize the name.
Generally she becomes obsessed with bringing Harmony which turns into an obsession to maintain order and control which then become her main focus. Kind of a Gate to Hell is paved with good intentions sort of thing

I never really expected such a good reaction out of this story. I had originally thought it to be something quick, but you guys are proving me otherwise! I'll be sure to keep pumping out these chapters as fast as I can, without rushing the story. It should be much easier now, since the chapters are much shorter than some other stories I've written.

For a race made up of extremely powerful chaos... things, it does very little sense to have a society with rules.
