Jealous Rainbow Dash should be fun.
I went into it thinking I'd see some hints at Cheerilight (which is adoooooorable, by the way) and came out of it appreciating those stories that just make you think. Feel. Roll ideas around and create. It was fluffy, cute, and altogether a fun time.
Pacing may have been quick at parts, and maybe that RD/Twi conflict resolved itself a bit too quickly (Dash was too heated about losing twi to let it drop that easily.)
And yet, that makes me query whether you were trying to hint at a twidash ship or if it was simply a desire in the imagination of Dash, run rampant in her thoughts and actions..

"I'm the God Damned Batmare!"
"Why so serious?"
A bit platitudinous on the assumption of the characters.
I feel like I can write a synthesis essay about poor Scootaloo's daft attempts, and another about Rainbow Dash's morbid mindset about her friendship with Twilight. It could use some variations.

Interesting. I love the flashback to Filly Twi longing to be friends. Really felt for her. The almost fight with Dash was engaging. Somepony's jealous.
Dashie's attempts to remain friends with Twi is downright heartwarming.
This was really heartwarming.
