This is good. Very good.
All I can say is that nothing about it was too bad. It just felt bland is all. Like it has all the description and decent characterization that you'd expect from any writer, but it seems to lack charm. It felt like I was just reading a meaningful impasse without any emotional tie to it. Maybe if you gave some examples of the bad effects alcoholism as on a unicorn, it would have been much more enjoyable.
Maybe it was just the premise, maybe I'll read some more stuff by you.

Thanks for the advice. It was a little hard for me writing this because AJ is my least favorite of the mane six, so it wasn't easy to write for her. I just thought Pinkie and the Pegasi would have been wrong for the story, and Rarity was harder to write for. I'm considering doing a sequel at some point that I'll put a bit more work into. Thanks again.

Hello! I know you've been away from Fimfiction for years, but nevertheless here's a review. I think it's perfectly reasonable that Twi would ask AJ for advice. I just don't see in the fic why she has the problem in the first place.
