Burn After Reading

I don't mind criticism, its Cryptomnesia I fear.

T

In his pursuit to recreate a pleasure from home in Equestria, Anon lets ponies experience some of his memories. It goes about as well as you'd expect.

Buying the world a Coke is a much more touching gesture when that world isn't Earth and therefore didn't have Coke before. I haven't read the story and therefore don't know whether this is actually relevant to it, but you inspired me.

Beautiful, simply beautiful!
I have noticed you seem to have left likes off. I am certain you will see a positive ratio should you activate it.

They're not off, they just don't appear until a total of 10 votes are made in an attempt to stem bandwagoning.

11878247
Oh. That's actually somewhat clever

11878182
Thank you. I'm glad you got something positive out of my story before even reading it. Hopefully that good feeling sticks around once you have done. :)

11878204
Thank you as well. Like Herald mentioned, I have got likes on and hopefully they'll become visible soon. Cheers to every-creature who presses those little thumbs. :)

This is the essence of comedy.

Throw some lime zest on to some cilantro if you have time. You'll be shocked at how much the mixture smells like coca cola.

Part 2 plz

This reads like Coke tastes.

Fun Incarnate.

Same, I love Cherry Pepsi Max more than Cherry Coca-Cola.

I did find it funny that you ended up with Twilight Eloping with Big Mac.

He could have just went to the mirror world where Sunset is and buy a case of the stuff from a store before coming back to Equestria.

This was great. The TwiMac on the side was the icing on the cake.

Cheers mate. :pinkiehappy:

I've never heard that before but will give it a go sometime.
11878933
I'm considering it, watch this space.

Your comment is like Coke; really sweet. :yay:
11879197
Thank you. :derpytongue2:
11879260
Interesting, I might explore that angle if I do a second part.
11879387
Glad you like it. :twilightblush:

This is the funniest story that I've found in the Featured box so far this month. Cherry Coke is one of the very few things that I love more than Mtn Dew.

I love how every time he had a come it always involved porn so soon after. It’s like ‘I got my computer, my tissues, the lube, and my coke, I am ready!’

Mexican coca cola is much better than american, and I can say this because I went to southern Texas for a week.

I was so close to Mexico, that I could drive to the border in under an hour unless there was dangerously large sandstorms as i was in a desert.

Anyways, they use actually real cane sugar instead of the fructose crap we have and i haven't dranken a single american soda since other than Sprite because everything else tastes like fake sugary crap now.

Poor bastard just wants a cold glass of coke..

Pepsi is the superior drink

Should just ask a pony to go through the mirror and see if they had any on the other side

Because they out source the ingredients from local sources so all there drinks taste differently every region, American fanta sucks just as bad as coke

Well... This was something. Hilarious, yes; but, weird nonetheless...

If I was in Anon's shoes I'd do whatever it took to get myself my favorite drink be it A&W root beer, mountain dew, wild cherry Pepsi (the one from the 90's).

Also if I was Anon I'd try to bring these versions of Cherry Coke to Equestria and share it with them.

All I wanted was a Pepsi. Just one Pepsi, and I almost got Institutionalized for it.

11879462
Thank you very much.
11879560
It's like the coach always said, "Dehydration is the real enemy!".
11879565
I never knew that, wonder if I can find some on Ebay...
11879636
Don't we all?
11879654
11879759
Doctor Pepper enters the fray!
11879872
Maybe he will, watch this space.
11880067
Thanks, that is rather my MO. :derpytongue2:
11880423
This guy gets it. :pinkiehappy:
11880640
Damn dude, hope it was a 128oz one.

11881096
Indeed I do as I was very blessed to have experienced the 90's as a kid.

I so badly miss that era.

11881128
It gave me Suicidal Tendencies for the rest of my life. (If you don't know, it's a band. Look them up, if you like punk rock or metal, you won't be disappointed.)

11881165
I've heard of the band especially the song about wanting a "Pepsi".

NICE work:rainbowlaugh::rainbowlaugh::twilightsmile:
