Because back when I first read that story. I totally didn't like what Celestia and the Mane Five did to the two protagonists, and to Fluttershy/Spike. Hopefully, you might change it a little to not make them trigger happy, and racist/xenophobic?
I mean, they should learn their frickin lesson by meeting Zecora for the first time. Kinda ironic.
And they have forgiven "baddies" before. With the likes of Discord, Sunset, Starlight, Trixie, technically Thorax, and Tempest.
