Sunset Shimmer and her friends have fought many magic filled villains and thought they could handle anything, that was...until the nuclear bomb's arrived. But thanks to an Organization called Vault-Tech, made underground villages known simply as Vaults, to protect the people from the radiation. But as they were leaving their homes, the main 7 were separated from one another, and had to live in different vaults. What happens to each of them, only time will tell.

This really upsets me, but I know that life is never fair to those who were in the first stages of the bombs dropping, and most of the vaults turned out like this. It is really depressing, but that's just the truth of it.

Alright, first off, good first chapter. Horrifying start (Plotline wise, not writing wise) A bit rushed in a few portions (Like right above) but you have a good starting point and premise here.
Second, what? How do they drop a bomb on Downtown Canterlot, but Canterlot City is fine? Downtown is the downtown portion of a city, so this is a double negative because it refers to the same place either way, and if it did refer to the same place, it would surely kill them if the explosion of Fallout 4 was any indication (Game Theory did a episode on this, calculated the distance traveled based on how long the bomb took to get to vault 111, and it was about 11 seconds).
Also, how many vaults are in this city? In any given games, there is about 4-5 vaults in any given area. One vault that the protagonist comes out of, and about 3-4 more to explore. If each girl was split into separate vaults, that's six vaults right there. How important is Canterlot City and how big is it that Vault-Tech would station 6 vaults in it's vicinity?

Nice chapter, I feel sorry for what happened to Twilight. To be completely honest, I would see Twilight being a sentient ghoul in the end. She has the will power and the intelligence to survive. Pity though. Missed opportunity.

Hate to break it to you, but that's not how ghoulism goes. They can't regain sentients. Its a sad fact about ghouls. Perhaps if you want to do that, rewrite the chapter to make it less that Twi went feral. Cause she seems very feral right now. Especially compared to holotapes one can find in games of people going feral

Vault-Tech is not a charity case. In order to receive the place inside the vault, you have to be preselected by the company because of some kind of national lottery, your family is part of the elite enclave forces, or because of your service to the country. More than likely Scootalloo's parents weren't lucky enough to get themselves and her daughter to safety. Perhaps Scootalloo could have been picked up by the military and went with them to become part of the Brotherhood of Steel.
