Tempestus

FAN FICTION- Photon Prime - Discord: Titan0151#0717

T

Upon a distant world, far from the terrors of the grim darkness, resided a peaceful people; ponies, zebras, griffons, hippogriffs, even such fabled creatures as dragons to name a few. Alas that was all about to change one fateful evening in the suburbs of Ponyville.

Before however we tell this tale, I feel it pertinent to provide fair warning to those who may believe this to be a tale of sunshine and rainbows. Far removed from it, quite the opposite. A grim tale of death, sorrow, despair, and sacrificial heroics lays in wait. Thus, I recommend thou prepare thyselves and saddle up for what shall no doubt be redacted in the history texts by both: our most benevolent ruler Celestia, and the God Emperor of Mankind.

That was certainly an interesting read, loved it! And I never thought to see space marines humanized/not shooting aliens on sight due to their devotion.

Got my attention as I played with the thought of making a Warhammer crossover myself but the other way around of what you did.

Believe me, I have toyed with the idea a few time before. I am glad you enjoyed this short!

Celestia was speechless, this Astarte spoke as if this was a regular Monday at the office, as if this was normal. She dreaded to think of a world where this could be considered normal.

HA! You have no idea of how the Galaxy of WH40K is SUPER Screwed Up Times 999 Trillion!!!! :pinkiecrazy:

10710970
I hear ya and you're welcome. If you like to hear what I had in mind, be my guest. Could need some help figuring out some minor things for it

“May Faust watch over you Captain Tempestus.” Celestia uttered the words without really realizing it before adding, “As your Emperor has watched over us this day.”

Woah, woah, WOAH??!!! How the heck does Celestia know the Frickin Emperor Of Mankind??!! She doesn't know what the Chaos Forces, Chaos Space Marines, or even Normal Loyal Space Marines are at first? But, "KNOWS" the Emperor himself??!! What?!

“Brothers, the world that rests below us is that of a peaceful one. Or traitorous kin of the Word Bearers have decided to invade it and wreak havoc upon the primitives that call it home. Know that these primitives call themselves ponies, and while skilled in combat are immensely unprepared for an invasion the likes they have experienced upon this day. I challenge you with the extermination of our enemy, and the protection of the natives.” He paused, the undying attention of his finest company upon him, “IN THE EMPERORS NAME, LET NONE SURVIVE!” The one hundred Astarte in formation slammed the right fist across their chest if able, many of the Dreadnoughts remaining still as to not launch anyone across the hangar.

Seriously?! I am DOUBTFUL that the Ponies will last an HOUR in a "Regular Day" in WH40K. Even the Imperial Guard, and the Tau are Badass enough to survive much longer than that.

“It was so simple to manipulate a group of these ponies into tearing open a rift to the warp!” The Daemon Prince exclaimed as he thrusted his blade towards the venerated Captain.

Wow. Those Ponies are SUPER Dumb and Idiotic to trust Daemons in Space. :facehoof:

Reginald reversed his spear once more and held it high over his foes head.

“To think, for a moment I thought I had won.” The damned spoke in resignation as the spear pierced the back of his skull and came out his face, imbedding itself into the ground as the portal closed.

Surrounding Reginald were the corpses of some thirty ponies in black hooded robes, all having had aneurysms presumably the moment the portal opened. The aged Captain merely shook his head and walked out of the camber, one of the MKI’s setting the room alight in flame as soon as Reginald had cleared the threshold.

Holy crap! He just took down a Daemon Prince that easily!? So Badass! As for the dead Pony "Chaos Cultists"? Still Frickin dumbassas! They deserve to die for being major idiots to trust the WH40K Daemons. 🙄

Nitronus gazed upon Celestia a moment longer than normal, an intense golden halo seeming to project itself to him as the visage of the Emperor appeared ever so briefly behind her before vanishing. No one else seemed to have seen it, though the ancient Astarte still took it as a sign that this was His will. He nodded in affirmation before speaking once more.

How does even Celestia or her Ponies earn the respect of the Holy Emperor to protect them from the forces of Chaos ( Or other hostile Xenos in the future? Like the Orks, Tyranids, or the Drukhari.)?

Not that the Ponies are bad. It's just that WH40K Imperium Of Man are Highly against Xenos. Even the Ponies probably. :twilightoops:

“Your people have suffered, as have ours. Upon our ships we carry refugees of worlds that can no longer support life, I ask for amnesty for these souls.” As Nitronus speaks he moves his hands as if to accent what he is speaking about.

Not really. Ponykind only "suffered" up to possibly 3-5% of what's the entirety of poor Humanity having to endure ALL the time in the 40K Universe. 😞

“Well, these guys operate off of beacons and such, someone had to set one up, and call for them too!” He stated, popping away in a flash of light to be in the center of the four Astarte, who seemed un-phased though curious nonetheless of the oddity, “I live here too you, know. I wasn’t about to allow these Warp Spawn to destroy my home or worse, corrupt the spirit of harmony! Sheesh!” He once again teleported over everyone, this time laying down on a fancy couch, “I may be the spirit of chaos, but I don’t do the hard K word, no… Chaos is meant to be fun, a reprieve from a long day at the office. Not the end of civilization.”

Rushal was the first to speak, “I am beginning to like this planet more and more as the hours pass by.”

I'm actually surprised they didn't even try to shoot Discord?! Considering he is the Spirit/God of "Chaos". And that he literally says that he is RELATED to the Four Chaos Gods themselves!?

Then again, his Chaos is a WHOLE lot better, and more Kid Friendly and harmless Pranks. Compared to the more Murderous, Warlike, Lustful, Torturing, Genocidal/Xenocidal, and more Grimdark stuff in 40K Universe.

The rest of Imperium would be shocked of the century to have a Super Friendly Xeno Race ( Ponies, other MLP Creatures, etc..), and a friendly Chaos God ( Discord) that have the blessing of the Emperor Of Mankind himself. :rainbowlaugh:

10711026
Glad you found it to be a funny read! Happy to be of service.

The moment the Inquisition hears of this that Chapter is going to have issues. In the end, Ponys would be considered Xenos. Discord at best a Deamon Prince himself. The only saving grace might be the Emperor having been to that world during the Great Crusade and having ordered it protected. And even then it might not save that population.

10711475
I feel you take it too seriously. Yes that would liley be the case. I through the visage of the Emperor behind Celestia to make it more lore friendly. Alas, it most certainly is not lore friendly as there are technicolor xenos and we didn't obliterate them. With that said, Modern Imperium differs heavily on xeno policies than 30k Imperium. Emps was shown to be very diplomatic, from trying to work with Eldar, planning to lift the Tau, so on.

Hope you enjoyed it, if not, well I cannot change your mind.

10711673
The Emperor had few issues with Xeno's as long as they knew where they stood in comparison to the Imperial Truth. The Tau werent even a thing yet but he was noted for his good relations with the Eldar. But if a species was hostile to the Imperium they were as good as dead. I could see the Emperor preserving the Pony Homeworld as a trove of transplantable rescources to rebuild Terra. He might even have directed a Legion and Primarch to be on call to its defence. The 40k Imperium isnt as pleasant. Which would be funny if the Imperium attempted to cull the Ponys only to find a Chapter or multiple chapters moving to its defense with a writ of defense in there hands. Or a traitor Legion doing so because there Fallen Primarch demands it because of a previous deal.

If nothing else, I could see Cypher going to Raritys boutique for repairs to his robes. Which might bring in the Fallen. The Ponys world does resemble lost Caliban a bit.

10711704
You know, after I replied I did start thinking about the Dark Angels a bit. Yes, plenty to think about an such regarding this. You are correct, Emps would more than likely use it as a transplantable resource. My idea Was that Celestia and Luna are frgments of the Emperor himself created by accident when he erased Horus.

10711475

Why??!! Does the Inquisition be that arrogant to piss off the Emperor Himself? IF he really "Likes" the Ponies. Then WHY should they be hostile to them anyway?! Unless, they want to piss off the Emperor himself! 😡

10711784

Oh crap!!!! Then the Inquisition can't do shit against the Ponies. IF Celestia and Luna are a part of the Emperor himself.

10711704

He might even have directed a Legion and Primarch to be on call to its defence. The 40k Imperium isn't as pleasant. Which would be funny if the Imperium attempted to cull the Ponies only to find a Chapter or multiple Chapters moving to its defense with a writ of defense in there hands. Or a traitor Legion doing so because there Fallen Primarch demands it because of a previous deal.

That would make a interesting WH40K/MLP Story or even a Sequel to this story?

10711890
The Inquisition would not know what the Ponys were to the Emperor. They are not on world or have anything but reports. And the Inquisition generally doesnt care what Chapter Masters say quite often. They only care what they see. And what they will see are Xenos and a Chapter that has defended Xenos. It's why I put forward the 'Great Crusade pledge to defend' as it would be a good counter to the Inquisition if a Chapter like the Dark Angel's or the Ultramarines or White Scars moved to counter the Inquisition.

As for the Emperors will. He has been pretty silent for 10,000 years. No Inquisitor has ever even seen his body on the Golden Throne. And he doesnt have a Text-to-Speech device because Kitten isnt real.

10712113

Well. It will be nice for the Ponies sake to be "Allies/Friends" to the Imperium Of Men, instead of the obvious of to be getting annihilated easily by them. :twilightoops:

10711704
I need quotation about that good relations with eldar, because i read Horus heresy series and not once did he indicate anything similar to such. Xenos were always shot, hell Vulcan burned eldar children alive that made even Curze to say to him " we are not so different you and i."
And many times imperial citizen talked how galaxy was mankinds birthright, and how vile xenos were.
And you clearly have not read master of mankind novel where emperor will gladly sacrifice humans and at one point custodes to his own ends.

10712131
Nope, Master of Mankind is about two books further along than I've gotten. But I have been playing since Rogue Trader. And read all the older sourcebooks. Go back to the 2nd Edition Sourcebook and find the info in there.

10712120
Oh its doable if unlikely. The Imperium has always found a use for mutations as long as the mutation/deviation isnt to strong. Horses that can talk might just be seen as a allowable mutation. Not sure though who would be the one to make that decision though. Tech Priests of Mars most likely. Magos Biologis.

10712141

Well, Ponies are a bit "Alien" compared to normal Horses. But, it seems reasonable that the Ponies ( along with other MLP Creatures) could be spared from the Imperium.

I am digging this disscussion thread! Thanks for being civil everyone.

10712146
Like I said, it would come down to a decision from on-high. Likely the High Lords themselves. Or Guilleman if he is running around. And going by the slow rate of communications, that could take hundreds of years for a final word on the matter. And in those years a lot can happen.

10712136
Ahh yes as if there was not some massive retcons until 3rd edition which after lore has been somewhat consistent. On Which never books completely override on how much imperium destroyed even peaceful xenos races. One of them was harvested to extinction even tho they were harmless.

10712152
Blah Blah Blah. You asked for where I got the info I gave it.

10712163
Its like saying rogue trader is totally cannon with police like space marines, female space marines, old ones were playable and squats had massive empire. And chaos robots that became necrons.

10712171
Blah, Blah, Blah. You asked for where I got the info and I gave it.

10712173

10712171

If you two are going to argue I ask that you try not to on the story itself. Constructive criticism, praise, civilized discussion and theory talk is welcome, but please no arguing and carrying on like children.

I do appreciate all the feedback, I have a plan for a sequel, maybe, that will shed light on things. I also legit forgot about Cadia going boom and Chaos invading, this I should mention is before that, somewhere in the middle of the timeline of M 40 or 41.

Remember, keep calm and brony on.

10712197

I seen that in BattleFleet Gothic 2 Video Game. With Cadia sadly destroyed and all of that.

10712197
Got to love when people argue over fiction. I will stick to better things like have fun with the universe and makeing fun of the Orks. Well and also killing in the name of cheap beer.

10712304
I still remember the miniature game with a certain fondness. Had a huge Dark Angel Fleet painted up. Forge World Thunderhawks and everything.

10713355

Not the Board Game with the Miniature Toy Ships of the various factions with the expensive prices. I meant the Online Video Game itself. Battlefleet Gothic 1 and 2. I was trying to get those two games to play on my computer.

10713451
Oh I understand. Just saying I remember the old game with fondness. Still have my fleets. Even dusted off my Chaos Fleet recently for a game.
