Nah, joking aside, definitely a cutesie ship--one I'd entirely forgotten about tbh, but this was a nice go at it! I love their dynamic together, not something I was expecting. Literally the perfect couple, like, inna cute-what-the-fuck-how-work kinda way. Definitely a good entry, Priesty-boy!

Sorry, I don't meant to nitpick but,
Shouldn't it be whisper since it's only one thought. Then again, it could work as a plural words, but shouldn't it then be "These were the hushed whispers".
Overall, great story! Never thought of this ship before, but now that I have, I think it can sail just fine.
