When the two learn of an unsecured corporate system containing valuable secrets on their turf, they jump at the chance to acquire the data.
Though someone is always watching on the Net, it's just a matter of who.
This story is a substantial rewrite of an older (and now deleted) story of mine that went by the name of "The Megacorp Job" and events diverge from the outset.
This story has elements of Cyberpunk 2020 and Shadowrun, no prior reading or knowledge is required though some details have been changed from their source material.

Well this is a fun really fun story I wish there were more Cyberpunk stories around here especially with the game coming out soon. The quality of writing could be a bit better, in describing they emotions through their actions in the early chapters but you really start to get a good flow after the interogation with the Cyberbar owner. I'm actually considering going back to the early chapters to really bring them up to the same quality as later chapters, probably when the story is more complete as right now it's about half way done. So hopefully, it'll improve substantially.

By they way I noticed that the story is not in many groups maybe you should place in more of them that relates to the themes and I noticed that you don't have a Sci-fi or Cyberpunk tag on it either.

Ah i see, i assume groups work like tags do, in that it makes them more visible to a certain subset of people that are looking for something in particular?
Finally managed to read all the chapters of the story so far, sorry not at my best at the moment. The intrigue starts to get interesting interesting with Matterhorn now in the group, with a lot more back story on what happened to Equestria and the crown. He might be getting a little too much attention but he is a fun character still. I do like that this 'Luna' isn't really a shining paragon of virtue that we usually associate with, probably had to lose it to become more cutthroat just to survive. This Theastral Dark zone is also very interesting too bieng isolated and getting all the garbage of the rest of Canterlot. Despite being very condense chapters, sacrificing a bit of Thrymr and atmosphere and character development it does still convey a lot of story. Keep it up.

Chapter length has always been something I've struggled with in that they're either too long or way too short, but i can say as of the upcoming chapter (Next week's) they will get longer as the rest of this section of the story wraps up. After that, the intrigue will only get deeper and more interesting i assure you.
We're still a ways from the end of the story as a whole, so i hope the upcoming chapters and their developments continue to hold your interest!

A slow simmer so far, as it were.
It is the Cyberpunk way for things to go exactly the opposite as one plans, especially when little is known about the pieces in play. So i suppose you could say things are to become very interesting indeed.

I have no intention of abandoning this story. Things have just been somewhat difficult for me these past few months. I'm aiming for a couple of chapters a month going forward, but we'll see how things go.
