Entry 15
Funny thing. When you're stuck in a cell with no concept of time or the passing of days, you kind of lose track of what's going on around you. Nighty has been such a dear and has been giving me the old daily update but I find myself having such a lack of things to write about.
I suppose that's for the best, though, that crack in the wall can't hold that much paper. Maybe I can get Nighty to hold them for me? But I trouble him enough already.
Most recently, though, Nightstick has told me about Celestia's obsession over a single Pony. A little pink Pony from Ponyville named Pinkamena Diane Pie. He says that she mumbles incessantly about her when she walks down the hallways and plots to destroy her forever.
From his descriptions, this seems to be part of the whole deal which started a thousand years ago.
But what I don't understand is why destroy her? I mean, Grenadine was one of our most trusted aides. This might require a little digging. Oh, if I wasn't behind these bars!
Does she actually not know about... that?
I don't think she has any idea how ironic this is, honestly. I would find it hilarious except that it's a bit scary and not really at all funny from her point of view.
Mmm. Oats for dinner. I love oats. My Colt I've been eating double portions every day now for the past two weeks.
This isn't healthy, but I'd forgotten what a feeling it is to just be able to eat.

Oh good, she is being fed.
Welp. She's not a cannibal. Thank goodness.

Please come to me when you can appreciate how influential The White Album was.
Revolution 9 brought Noise Rock/Advant-Garde into the mainstream... for better or for worse. Helter Skelter did the same with Classic Metal. While My Guitar Gently Weeps is almost entirely agreed upon as being some of George Harrison’s best songwriting, and the solos by Eric Clapton are considered the best in The Beatles’ career. By the way, Eric Clapton plays the guitar solo on Ed sheeran’s Dive, too. Glass Onion reinforced John Lennon’s strategy of incomprehensible songwriting, which actually is the inverse of the Helter Skelter shootings because John Lennon wanted to write songs so absurd that the were completely pointless to dissect (despite Helter Skelter being written by Paul). One last song I’ll touch on, Revolution 1, sometimes known by the single of Revolution, was a chart-topper of a Hard Rock/Blues Rock song, and Blues Rock would be spun off into it’s own sort of genre. You might know this genre as Proto-Metal, I mean, you’ve heard of Scorpions, Deep Purple, and Jimi Hendrix, right?
And Elenor Rigby isn’t even on The White Album! It’s on Revolver, a different album entirely! Although it still is considered one of the greatest albums ever, but so are Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The White Album, and Abbey Road, so that’s not saying much.

I loved the Beatles & not just for their love songs. But, of all their albums The White Album was their worst. Most of the Beatles songs that I dislike are on it.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band, now THAT’S what *I* would call their best.
“Revolution 9” IMO is the worst the Beatles ever did & that’s saying something
I let the other readers judge for themselves
& you don’t have to be comprehensible to be good - I liked Hawkwind, for God’s sake. But this... No.
I know Eleanor Rigby isn’t on The White Album.
I don’t especially like it, but MUSICALLY it’s a good song

It’s still influential, heck, I don’t think I’d like Revolution 9 because I’m so anti-Noise Rock that you’d be shocked (it’s also one of the most approachable songs in the genre, strangely). But still, calling it ‘not music’ is very stupid for an album so influential.
Also, I like Elenor Rigby, it’s some of Paul’s best songwriting. But, whatever, most of my family doesn’t like The Beatles after Rubber Soul, and my sister even has the gall to say that One Direction is better than The Beatles ever were.
And it’s fine, I like Sgt. Pepper a lot, I wouldn’t say it’s better than what I’ve heard on Abbey Road, but it’s very good. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t go so far as to say that The White Album isn’t music.

When The Beatles were good they were very, very good but when they were bad they could be horrid
Hey, some of the Everly Brothers was better than a lot of The Beatles
