You're a clever unicorn, Twilight
A string
A yellow string
Why didn't you think of this before?
You lead it through the empty corridor
Over carpet and tile and mildew stains
The fluorescent lights catch the fibrous track
A golden glow
It is so very simple
The string goes around a wall
And takes a left
You turn left with it
The string will show where you've been
And where you haven't been
That's why you've left it
That's why you've been leaving it
Your pace quickens
The string drapes in a straight line up ahead
Until it doesn't
It goes around a wall
It takes a left
You turn left with it
Such a clever unicorn, Twilight
You would have to be
To fashion a string out of nothing
Was it the carpet?
Did you unravel it?
If so, from where?
You blink
You follow the string
But slowly, now
There's a wall up ahead
The string takes a left
So
You follow it
You
You made the string
You left the string here
Or did the string leave you here?
It leads straight ahead
Until
It doesn't
There is a wall up ahead
Such a clever pony, Twilight Sparkle
It turns left
So
You turn left
And
There's a string
It goes straight
Until it doesn't
There's a wall up ahead
It turns left
So
So
So
So
You
I don’t know what you’ve been doing, but evidentially you’ve been doing a lot of it, and where can I get some? This reads like trying to get directions from Syd Barrett, you may take that as you wish.
And this is why you never buy a timeshare in lost Carcosa.
Ending right on a cliff hanger....damn you, skirts!
Aw I was hoping to publish an art-Cancelled fic first, one of these days
The cancelled status gives me the same feeling as the spinning top in the ending scene of Inception.
If there is an award for cleverest use of non-completion, you've won it.
Or have you?
This is really neat. I enjoyed this.
holy fuck this was good
You tried too hard.

You never can avoid all the damnable yellow signs.
...
Wait, WHAT THE FLIP FLYING FUCK?!
Feh, dimensional traps only work on people without supreme powers... meaning they're not meaningful anyway.
Wow...so many left turns. Ever thought about just breaking the room?
...wait, if the rooms are broken, do they belong in themselves?

I saw a DnD story about something like that once, basically, it was an infinite number of rooms inside a single room, they called it a Hypercube (I think there was a movie about it).
Eventually, the players got sick of it and broke every wall in the room (and the ceiling and floor) and made the infinite rooms into one room and the hypercube collapsed into itself. Players survive but realistically I think that'd just make a Black hole or something worse, like a Hyper Black Hole, or the dimensional version of a Black Hole.
