This honestly feels less like a retelling of Rainbow Factory (the fic) and more like an alternate take on the original song.
Heck, it actually has more in common with this fic than the original Rainbow Factory fic.
And in both cases, I prefer the other versions, though this was interesting enough for an upvote.
