9286756 That seems to be among the intended outcomes.
The seed for this story idea was mocking the anthro clop tropes you see used in more than a few anthro stories. Things like a focus on breast cup size in the narration, jumping so soon into sex, that kind of stuff. Obviously, it has to get weird, so why not include full ponies in the anthro pony world?
Oops. I mis-tagged. Very ... uh. Strange story Damaged. Not bad, and I actually 'snrked' at at least three points during it.

You don't make it really clear that they're pony ponies. Softheart starts out as an anthro pony, and they're having sex missionary style which would be more compatible with bipedal bodies, so I think that first transformation needs a little more description of becoming quadrupedal....ish. I figured they were both anthro ponies, then got confused when she started getting forelegs later.
Anyway, interesting concept. Gives a whole new dimension to exhibitionism. You could see someone walking around all innocently, but if they're a full pony mare, you start looking for the cord to the vibrator back there.
I'm surprised Paul didn't get a cutie mark in being boring and unattractive.
