It's a very beautiful story, I liked it a lot. In my opinion, the sequel, if you have an intention to do it, you should do it whether Aria and Rainbow have a face-to-face, and that Fluttershy offers her friendship to Sonata. After all, the ending of your story makes me think of this. Again congratulations for the story.

Thanks. And that's pretty much the direction I have planned, except Aria might have some harsh things to say about the Rainbooms trying to steal her sister.
I thought you did a great job with Sonata here. She isn’t too stupid, but isn’t too bright, and most importantly isn’t any nicer than her sisters. And she had lots of very funny lines! My favourite was ‘Until a thought occurred to her: How hard can breaking-and-entering really be?’
The story itself, though; hmmmm. I don’t think it really works being villain-perspective for the first 3/4 and then switching to the heroes, giving them a win and calling it a happy ending. It certainly doesn’t feel happy, and Rainbow in particular comes across as far from likeable. It also feels rather incomplete. I like the setup with the tamagotchi, could see Sonata thrift store shopping and working at the bowling alley, and of course her completely messing up her spontaneous blackmail.
Personally, I’d have preferred the ending to be Rainbow grabbing Sonata’s phone when she pulls it out, holding it out of reach and flicking through the recent pictures to find those of Fluttershy, only to come up stumped when there aren’t any there. But that’s me

Fair enough, although I could personally see Rainbow Dash being quite hot-headed if someone had the gall to mess with Fluttershy. And I'm glad you appreciated my take on Sonata. I feel like she's too often depicted as being over-the-top silly, to the extent that she adds nothing to a story.

sonata is not a good person just cus she is ditzy dont change the fact she is just as much of a sociopath as her sisters who got off on ruining the lives of people for over 1000 years

Well I guess you kind of have to do something about this, but isn't this how it starts?
She get's help, her friend does something stupid and afterwards the fotos that weren't taken would be out there for everyone to see.
Not sure if you could still manage to prove that she would have taken the fotos if the phone is destroyed, but now it looks like Rainbow would be the one with the problem if Sonata was clever enough.
In that moment Rainbows brain dried out to a point where it looked like a raisin.
Not only that she had done more bad stuff, she destroyed something Sonata and Fluttershy wanted.
It feels like she should get some sort of treatment.
I imaged something else to happen here, for some reason I even imaged this being so random that Sonata got trapped in a tamagotchi.
Well not bad I guess but it was....I'm not sure if it didn't even got a bit sad in the end.

About the comments that say Sonata is a bad person...maybe, but it is never that simple. I like to think a bit deeper about this sometimes.

I'm not sure what to think about it yet, but I think while Sonata get's to be friends with Fluttershy maybe, she should actually not want anything to do with Rainbow and this maybe should actually be a thing for the whole story. It is interessting sometimes if the characters aren't that easily forgiven everytime they do something stupid. Some people also just don't like each other.
However I would be somewhat interessted in Aria playing the babysitter for Fluttershy and Sonata, I mean driving them everywhere in chase she shouldn't have a car.

Huh. So Fluttershy bought a virtual pet. She took it into the bathroom, possibly the shower stall, with her rather than let it be alone. While there's no reason she'd notice the distinctive lime-green plastic (Sonata has pockets, and probably other containers), sooner or later she's going to realize Rainbow Dash beat the Tamagotchi with a hammer and killed it.
...I don't think Sonata's going to be in the worst shape coming out of this.
