Hanahaki, also known as The Unrequited Love Curse, is a disease that affects those with unrequited love. Those who are afflicted with it will cough up their beloved's favorite flower's petals, and as the disease gets worse, whole flowers.

The only known cures are for the loved one to return their feelings, or to have it removed, causing the victim to lose all memories of their love.

If they don't, they'll die.

A shame Discord became afflicted with it.

An attempt at angst.

THANKS FOR READING

I have reviewed this here.

HNNG I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WROTE DISLESTIA FICS

This was actually really feelsy and sad ;w;

Okay, I know this account isn't that active anymore and everything and this was supposed to be a sad fic. I just- is it bad that the last line made me cackle?

But I liked this. The story was conveyed well. :twilightsmile:

Man, that twist at the end really sold the story for me. It really brings it all together. I do kinda wish that you had developed this story a bit more because there is a lot of potential here, going from how Celestia might act when alone with Discord to the progression of the illness, even keeping its mechanics hidden from the reader for a while to let the tragedy really set in. But beside my own hopes, the story on its own is pretty solid, I liked it.
