well it seems that your going for a somber theme, so you could build up by Vynial getting fired from all her regular gigs due to her drinking getting out of hoof, causing her to retreat even more into her abdl fantasy to the point where its harmful for her. Octy would feel she has to intervene to help her friend/lover, then Bon Bon and Lyra could barge in on them at this point by accident, with them offering to let her "play" with them if she agrees to go to addiction counseling, sense Vynial has rejected it every other time they asked her to go. Over time Octy, Bon Bon, and Lyra help Vynial incorporate her abdl stuff into her life in a healthy manner, with octy being a mom of sorts. But problems arise when Vynial tries to go out and DJ again, with it climaxing in some sort of emotional breakdown caused a bit of an abdl urge. Realizing Vynial needs to get her confidence back, octy and co begin to search for a way for Vynial to DJ again but to no avail. Then another pony, I'm thinking Derpy sense she's a fellow background pony, reveals that she saw Vynial's breakdown, and being a abdl herself, tells the gang about an underground abdl night club in need of a DJ. Vynial reluctantly takes the job, and doesn't just get her confidence back, but has the best gig of her life. fin.
