Up until this point, the story has almost entirely stood on its own, so I guess it's good that I got a chance to draw y'all in before bringing out stuff that's odd without background info. :/
Trixie calls Twilight "mistress." Just take my word for it.
I hope to God I get a chance to write about Chaser givin' it to a boy pegasus. The scenario is so in-universe kinky it's giving me chills. Happy chills, though.

>mine countenance whereupon complaints about spacing
I fought with myself long and hard about this. I spaced it out and stared at it, undid the spacing and stared at it more, and just agonized over the decision.
It's already got double line spacing; have you ever read a book with those extra spaces between paragraphs? Would your English teacher appreciate extra spaces between paragraphs?
The thing is, this isn't necessarily the only way or the most popular way to do it, but it's a *proper* way to do it and I hate having to put HUGE spaces to differentiate scene breaks from normal paragraph breaks. I also hate how hugely spaced out dialogue tends to get.
I'm sticking with the call that I made for now. Thanks for prompting me to do more soul-searching about it, by the way. Thanks a freakin' ton.
1024861 Just chiming in, books don't have spacing between paragraphs because they need to conserve paper. Digital writing doesn't have that disadvantage - furthur, it's a lot wider and taller than a book's page, meaning there's risks of being a wall of text. Combined with the fact that the screen glows, it means it's much harsher on the eyes than a book or essay. The best policy is to space it out and give it plenty of room to breath,
Damn if that ain't a voice of authority. Point taken--no point in being "proper" if people have legitimate reason for liking the other way. I'll get about spacing it today.

I do recommend that you throw in the extra spacing, as it's more comfortable when reading on a computer screen.
Might also encourage more folks to give your story a try, which they totally should.
Whichever you run with, try not to fret over it so much.
