Honestly, quality of writing affects my enjoyment way more than the content.
If a story has my favourite thing ever in it But is riddled with horrific grammar mistakes and spelling errors, I’ll skip it. If a story has decent writing but something I’m not fond of, I’ll also skip. If something has excellent writing and something I’m not fond of, I’ll keep reading and find myself enjoying it a lot.
