Fate is a fickle thing. It doesn't always do what one would believe, and that is evident with Jack Marston. Jack had hoped that his fate was to avenge his father, start a family, perhaps write a few books, but it seemed that his fate is a bit more.
I like it so far. I like the choice of using Jack over John, because, with the exception of killing that prick what arranged his father's death, Jack is notably more subdued and less aggressive than his father.
If I were to pick at anything, I'd say that I find having Seth, of all people, end up there as well is rather questionable, but I can understand why, given he's one of the few fully fleshed out characters who would have known John and not passed away by the time Jack avenged him.
