"Losing", not "Loosing".
This feels more like an outline than a full story. There's a slow-burning relationship here that develops over months of friendship and mutual obliviousness, but you gloss over it in far too few words. The idea is definitely solid, but it needs and deserves a lot more than you gave it. For example, you never explain why the relationship wouldn't work out, and you really should've identified the narrator much earlier than you should have.
Still, as I said, there's definite promise in this idea. Keep at it; you definitely have potential. Thank you for participating in the contest.
