Maybe I could have made this clearer, but: Rainbow Dash isn't mad at Twilight, because everything in between Dash thinking "Green" and Twilight saying "Red" was roleplaying—and Twi gave Dash exactly what she wanted. This was Dash's mega-submissive fantasy, and "Everyone who could rescue me is too distracted or otherwise ignores me" is just another turn-on for her. While Twi was pretending to ignore Dash, she was actually monitoring everything closely. We only see Twi putting on a show of ignoring Dash, since Dash is the viewpoint character for most of it, and she was fantasizing that whole time.
I might just go back and make some tweaks to the dialogue to make that clearer.

Rainbow Dash has a rape fetish. Twilight and a very polite tentacle monster help Rainbow indulge that fetish by roleplaying in a safe, sane, and consensual manner. I, the author, withhold enough information during the clop scene to obscure the fact that it's roleplay—so it looks at first glance like Rainbow is actually getting raped, until the truth is revealed later.

Ok, here's my first idea:
RD gets a new Power Ponies comic that features Daring Do and Mare Do Well teaming up against the Mane-Iac while the heroes are out of town. The comic turns out to be enchanted as the two are sucked in, Twi becoming MDW and RD becoming DD.
As it turns out RD's book is a special doujin where MDW is captured and ravished by the Mane-Iac while DD "searches" for a way to "rescue" her.
If that's not your style, I've got a few other ideas... one involving Twi's book-entering spell and another involving a "retelling" of the second episode with only Twi and RD.

That's simple, she has a hair growth formula that allows her Mane to continuously grow, giving her endless tentacles.
As for the Nightmare one, basically RD and Twi are the only ones that enter the forest. But when they get to the ravine they're intercepted by the Shadowbolts (Six instead of three) who drop a Twi into a nest of Plundervines. RD is forced to watch Twi get ravished and filled up while they have their way with her, turning into smoggy entities that enter her body and expand her from the inside.

Nothing does it quite for me like role playing ponies. I don't know why, but I just have a hard time digging straight on rape fics. Also, I thought you did a great job on showing it was roleplay. The moment Twilight said 'yellow,' I knew exactly what was up!

And definitely agree with you re: roleplaying. I can clop to actual rape fics, but I wind up hating myself afterwards. Also, a really involved roleplaying session implies a level of familiarity and trust between the participants that's pretty sexy by itself.
The fact that you faithfully adhered to cartoon physics delights me waaaaay more than it should.

You're absolutely right on all counts. I wanted to work in "non-Euclidean" as a Lovecraft-esque buzzword; I realized this particular usage didn't make any sense, but felt it didn't really matter.
But if it upset you, it probably does matter. When I'm done with work today, I'll go replace it with something that does make sense.
This story happened exactly like I hoped it would. Favorite bits for me were when Twilight started using Dash as a comfy seat and teasing her that she was just a balloon.

Huh. Belly inflation / whole body inflation to wildly unrealistic levels is my #1 fetish and my main reason for writing these stories. Heck, I started writing clop in the first place because I was disappointed with the number of stories about inflation to huge sizes on Fimfic. Kinda surprising that someone not into it would still enjoy one of my stories.
And yeah, if I had changed any details about the setup, then the implied consent would have fallen apart into something ugly.
What strains disbelief for me is that they're willing to have sex with a tentacle creature they just met, because a book they just found says it's a-okay.

I blame Who Framed Roger Rabbit for my prurient interest in swollen limbs. I know it's something that can only happen with cartoon anatomy—but in my mind, that's only slightly more impossible than hyper belly inflation already is. (I do, on the other hand, have some idiosyncratic criteria for when to just inflate the belly and when to go full-body.)
As for that last bit, I think I was inspired by one line from "A Filling Time", when Rainbow Dash gets spitroasted:
