A magical being of eldritch power grows bored and deposits half of its power with a random human. Just what that will mean is a mystery few will want to uncover.
10883111 Goodness, Steven hasn't been a liquor store clerk since just after the rage review, lol.
Now he's a vet who just so happened to work at a book store after his time in the service. If you haven't reread the story since 2018 (which is completely understandable), a lot has changed since then!
This is basically a rough draft, but editing would have taken a while, and I was too excited to wait.
10883114 You took the rage review so well, didn't you? Okay, I will read it to see if you shoot me down again or not. *take the fic by claws and start reading*
Of course, gods are jerks. This is like communism, a dictatorship where generations and neighbors were punished. For them, its nothing because for them it's a small amount of time
10883218 I would say it's more that they view entire races as one entity, which they must parent or punish. They don't really have the frame or reference for an "individual," as they are comparably quite vast.
The punishments are so long because the gods are timeless. They don't really perceive the passing of time, and only have an abstract understanding of it.
“Shall any abstain?” two hands were raised, “Very well, then. The motion neither passes nor fails. I will amend my motion; we grant a probationary Demi-God status to Steven, and allow his performance to determine the fate of the Fallen Ones.”
Hope you rewrite this version. (or fix it)

I see. You used to shoot me down when you pull the gun from nowhere. (A clerk knows how to craft a military gun??)
