Twenty years after coming to Equestria, Silver Script has the opportunity to temporarily be human again. If only the circumstances that sent her to Sunset's human world allowed it to be a vacation.

Oh, the snark. It makes character interaction oh so fun.
I get all the other tags, but sex.
Is Silver Script still active in that regard. I mean you have said she is a little more weathered now...
So she's a milf? Lol
I tease, I tease. Enjoying the story M8. Keep up the good work :3
7164563 Well I'm betting Sunset and Co walking in on her in various states of undress will be a running gag for a bit. Probably be at least once while she is doing 'special' things while in such a state as well.
Clutching his groin, flash crumpled backwards
noting a slight limp in her gait
1. Forgot to capitalise.
2. Extra spacing.
Nutcracker on ice pun...? I'm not sure if that's a cultural thing now but... I'm one of those people that sadly, don't get it. Still, at least Silver has got some kick in her left despite her apparent age difference. Now that I think about it, the previous rendition asked to bring lots of potions... think the mana potions might be related to the sirens mostly since it looks like they don't survive off of physical food alone.
Is it wrong that I'm legitimately trying to figure out what the cucumber, shear and tin are for?
7165052 my guess is that they were some kind of cryptic warning about aqua that not even pinkie could decipher, but im probably wrong
As always, i have enjoyed this chapter and wait everso impatiently for the next. Now if youll excuse me, im going to start refreshing my feed page everyhour on the hour

7165176 As far as Pinkie's gift is concerned, there wasn't really much of ANY reason. Just Pinkie gonna Pinkie.
Edit: To elaborate, whatever meaning I meant at the time has been lost to me, so it is effectively a mix of the "Brick Joke" and "Something We Forgot" tropes.
The Nutcracker on Ice pun is a two-step joke. See, the Nutcracker is a two act ballet, and it has been adapted to be preformed on ice. The nutcracker is also a euphemism for any heavy impact to the testicular region. By freezing Flash's feet to the floor... well...

Brilliant!!!
You sir/madam have a beautiful mind!
Huzzah! For the laughs have been doubled
Tfw no Luna emote
There's the missing self-control I was looking for! I knew she wasn't infallible!
7166006 I won't lie. When it comes to matters of self-control/willpower, I'm literally tempted to simulate a d20 roll and base lead the result based on how high the roll is. In this case, Silver failed her willpower save.
7166096 Is that what you actually do?
7166134 Nah, it's just what I consider doing sometimes.
7166187 Then what do you do?
Dang to bad Sliver can't re-spec some points into stamina. When ever she enters battle she's got to end it quick. Still here's some of the first clues.
7166593 It's not so much the stamina that's low, but she's instead getting major stat penalties for forcibly tapping her body's magical reserves not once, but twice, the second time going full-on wings'n'ears, as well as utilizing magic she wouldn't normally be capable of as in her pegasus form. Keep in mind that the human body the portal gives a pony is likely not meant for any of this. At best, she'd be looking at severe magical fatigue [which mana potions would certainly deal with], among some other debuffs [likely to willpower, endurance, etc,]. At worst, she could push herself towards the Power Strain Blackout/Heroic RROD tropes, particularly if this use of magic ends up being Cast from Hit Points, y'know?
Then of course, she was also holding up three fully grown teenage guys with a levitation spell after having let her magic free the night before before she went back to 'normal' mere hours earlier. She may be a brilliant alchemist and may have had some experience and even training using unicornian magic, but she's definitely a bit of an inept mage in this new world and needs to learn her limits.
7166827 Ah, I see. Funnily enough she's still to impulsive. Should have put some points into wisdom. I mean after trashing her heart she really needs to slow down on the self experimenting. Still this was a bit of a surprise situation so there's that.
7169840 Does she know the circumstances? You tell me.
Sunset having a bad temper seems IC enough for her, but she's getting awfully worked up over Silver preventing a murder.
7172580 Not so much angry about Silver preventing a murder so much as she's angry about Silver exposing herself and magic in the food court of all places, where there are more than just CHS students present, and maybe a bit disturbed by the fact she was associating with one of the Dazzlings, who at last encounter were the enemy, y'know?
Shouldn't this be "not even"? Other than that, great chapter! The fucking nutcracker joke had me in stitches
7173439 Associating with someone who used to be the enemy is the last thing in the universe Sunset Shimmer has any right to complain about.
(Granted, the Dazzlings probably had a longer history of actual serious evil instead of just high-school-evil, but still.)
7176049 Indeed, in the IDW mini-series FIENDship is Magic (Available in the $15 Tier of the Humble Comics Bundle: My Little Pony 2), one issue was dedicated to the Dazzlings, their conflict with Starswirl the Bearded, and the events that led up to Starswirl banishing them to human universe. From everything I can tell reading that and based on their appearance in the film, while the sisters did indeed use their magic to spread disharmony/chaos, there seems to be a heavy implication that this is what sustains them, and their pendants are basically a part of their feeding mechanism. They're shown to eat, but I'd like to think that without the ability to feed off the negative emotions, they'd slowly die and wither away.
The comic itself is actually quite interesting, and is definitely worth a read. Heh... Come to think of it, the comics make Starswirl out to be not so great after all—especially his reasoning for banishing the Dazzlings [as noble as they seem, in the context he basically comes off as a sore loser/"What the Hell, hero"?].
wait, without the pendants chaining them to youth, will they age like normal humans?
7181497 Depends on the interpretation, and artistic license on the part of the author. In my headcanon, they're slowly starving because they no longer have their pendants to convert emotions/conflict into magic they can feed off of.
damn, I hope silver can fix that
Nice to see more silver script. Really enjoyed reading the first two fics.
