On her trip back from an afternoon tea time, Twilight Sparkle finds herself being lost in the midst of the Everfree Forest. Unfortunately for her, this is the season where the Timberwolves come out and play to frighten the ponies between the thick brambles and the twisted trees. What fate does a night in the forest have in store for Twilight?

I really don't want to dislike this story, because it has incredible potential. As it is now, however, it's far too short. I was hoping for Twilight to leave Zecora's a little later than she'd like, and take the long trek through the Everfree Forest at night with a combination of creatures and her own (sometimes very overactive) imagination first scaring her and then setting her into a panic leading into full-blown terror.

That would've made for a nice, short, psychological thriller.
