Yayyyy updates
SWEET!!
Nice to see you back again. Really enjoyed Luna's moment (and the inclusion of Tiberius!).
That was just about as sweet as they come. Good chapter, glad to see Twilight Velvet being represented so well.
Hoorah! Update!
That was a good chapter, though, I can't help but feel something was missing... :P
Ok, Twilight Velvet steals the show and I really love the interaction with her and AJ, beautiful man just beautiful. Also Luna acts the same way I do when I am kept from sleep, also Tiberius was it this you sure get a moustache!
Shouldn't her mother have been alive well into her childhood? I mean, Apple Bloom is at least ten years younger, so how could her mother have been gone that early?
Great chapter. Loved the dueling fanfares, and props for including Tibbles
Silly salespony. What Twilight Velvet wants, Twilight Velvet gets. At a discount.

Truth be told, it's just the first half of the chapter I intended to write. But I got sidetracked by other things, and it's been so long since the last update that I decided to split it in two.

Well, 'Cutie Mark Chronicles' showed AJ as a filly, leaving for Manehattan with only Granny Smith and Big Mac to see her off. So the implication is that her parents were already gone by that point, probably very soon after Apple Bloom's birth.
I'm sure Applejack has a vague memory of her parents from her early childhood, but clearly they were absent for those formative teen years of her life when questions like those would really arise.
5848938
That's a good question. Obviously since Apple Bloom exists (unless there is a HUGE secret that she's adopted and not blood), Applejack has to know her parents somewhat, but not so little that she doesn't know them....
That's a pretty sizable hole in the logic there.

Or she could be blood AND adopted. The Apples are a pretty big family, it could just be another set of Apples met with misfortune and Granny Smith took her in.

Hmm...never thought of that. That's an interesting theory. That could be confirmed once AB's cutie mark finally appears---every Apple Family pony (well most of them, the Oranges have oranges for their cutie marks, but then again they probably married into the Apple family) have an apple or something involved with apples in their talents. If her cutie mark shows something that isn't apple-related, that could be a bit of a smoking gun.
Really sweet and funny chapter, Band Dueling and Luna's scene, was fun. Velvet and AJ feels moment was touching. Great chapter!
I get the feeling that Winona wants to play with AJ.
Yay! Mother figure for AJ
Yes Velvet! Make the retail industry squeal in pain and you dominate them
Update a little more frequently and I just might favorite this story
awwwwwwwwwwwww
First of all the Battle of the Flügelhorns wasn't funny at all... just , but Luna's Reaction to it really saved it (No ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE-Smiley so here is as a Replacement)
I also liked the "Five Nights at Freddys" Reference and it makes me wonder how Donut Joe's Business is going when his Game is about murderous Robots possed by Death Children.
The Scene with the Salespony was nice at the beginning, but in the End it looks like he didn't get any Bits at all and even had to pay and for me AJ and Velvet look like two Jerks who only get away cause their the Mane Characters Friend/Mother.
But the two Mare are still a good Team and honestly I would rather have a Story about them then AppleSpike (Sorry, you hadn't convinced me to like this Ship yet )

Even if the salespony originally bought the set at a Canterlot retail price of 600 Bits, (which he probobly didn't, he probably got it at cost from the manufacturer,) he sold for 700 Bits. That's still at least 100 Bits of profit.
5868511
What about Shipping? How much would he had to pay? But I have to say that his original Price was much to high compared the 600 Bits. So either this Guy is a Jerk for selling the TV at a much higher Price or Velvet lied about the TV she saw in Canterlot and it was much more expensive then 600 Bits
5868875
It's the former. Notice that he didn't object to the figure Velvet gave, and this was a year ago, so it's probably even cheaper in Canterlot now.
I did think this through before I wrote it. If anything, Velvet let him get away with way too much. 700 will still cover the price he paid, cover the shipping and give him a good deal of profit.
He's asking such an outrageous price because he's got a monopoly and most ponies in Ponyville don't know any better. That's why the idea of Velvet going into business terrified him so much. With competition around, he'd have to actually start asking reasonable prices, which would probably be even less than 700.

Oh... I haven't noticed that ... well if that's the case I'm suddenly okay with Velvet screwing him
This story has been sitting in my Read Later list for a while now and if I could send a message to past me, I'd tell him to read this a.s.a.p.
The story is definitely entertaining because of the various situations Spike and Applejack find themselves in each chapter. The only issue I have is the reason for them to get married so spontaneously like that but that's relatively minor in the grand scheme of things. I like how you're giving the newlyweds challenges to overcome in every chapter between the sex and er...'fire-gasms'? (It's starting to become a running gag now, huh?)
I sense that the story is slowly moving towards some drama, especially with Applejack dealing with how little she knows about her husband though I suppose she's in good hooves with Twilight Velvet. Also how long have they been married now anyways? There hasn't been any indication of time passing aside from Hearts and Hooves Day and the occasional mentioning of time like them staying at the castle for a week. It's just a pet peeve of mine so no worries if you didn't settle on an answer for that.
All in all, I look forward to future updates from this story of yours.
p.s: Royal Guard fanfare battle!

Well, the basic idea I had for this story was to make it something like a sit-com. So you can assume that every chapter advances time by about one week. (Although chapters 5 and 6 are the exception, since they happen in one day. Think of it as a two-parter.)
So basically after their return from Las Pegasus, they stayed at the farm for a week and then a week with Twilight before getting their own place. At this point, they've been married for just over a month.

Ranko, the writer with the Akiza picture, always bringing up stuff... Well done, I enjoy this story, and I await more.
And Luna once again proves how awesome she is
