Oooohoohoohoo, this was nice I loved it, and these two were funny, hehehe.
And that pic, wonderful~
Nice job!
8086990 Glad you liked it! I wasn't intending to write a chapter for the image but Atty's awesome work provided all the motivation I needed to flesh these two out a bit more.

Hahah, it was great, I hope you do stuff like this in the future!
8090726 I want to. Currently in a job transition but once things level out again I've got a few ideas for more artwork commissions so expect to see a few more pieces.
8095602
I wish you luck with that, I'm attempting to do such a thing myself >v> after BronyCon of course... hehe.
So awesomeness!
8096417 Bleh, wish I could attend. Right now it's just me and the owner but we're laying the groundwork to expand to somewhere in the range of $13.5m of business by the end of the year or early into next (that's the goal, anyway) so I already know I'm going to be too slammed busy with work.
8099638 I'm not even sure I'll be able to attend, its mostly just hoping at this point... but there's plans in place.
And damn! dat's a lot.
I wonder if we'll get to talk about Titus' ship. We've already established that its a stolen prototype model built by a private party that Krua and Titus were affiliated with before, however what kind of ship model is it? It cannot be a YT-Series, you said that the cockpit was located towards the middle and was enclosed within instead of visible. While impossible to outright state it, the thematic premise of evolution through design gives one such leeway for design comparisons to be drawn from previous models and designs over the course of centuries.
Take the ever-so iconic Millenium Falcon, a heavily-modified Corellian YT-1300, the YT-Series has a long-standing tradition that goes back thousands of years, but the essential design is much older than that. The design that would eventually-evolve into the staple saucer of the Corellian Engineering Corprations YT-Series began back around 4000 BBY, as the Dynamic-Class Freighter, a Starship frame that boasted for its ability to be further modified to fill in a wider variety of roles than as a traditional Light-Freighter, with one of the most iconic vessels of the Dynamic-Class being the Ebon Hawk. Following in the design footsteps of the Dynamic's success and popularity, the CEC later created a model of ship that boasted similar design and functional purpose to the Dynamic, the XS Stock Light-Freighter; which was an in-between design of the Dynamic and of the future YT-Series of Freighters.
With this in mind, it would be easy to make or find a luxurious ship to draw comparisons from or between that falls into the purviews of elegant, bird-like, and fast based on descriptions from what most ponies say about it, along with the curved panelings on the surface. And I am already thinking about what kind of ship that the overall design might be reminiscent of...
The X-70b Phantom-Class Prototype, a highly-experimental and exclusive vessel of the Resurgent Sith Empire built during the Galactic Cold War Era. Due to the seclusive nature of the Sith Empire, the design specs of the X-70b was a closely-guarded secret, and that the ship model was exclusive solely to be used by members of either the Dark Council that governed the Empire, of by agents of Imperial Intelligence that enforced the Empire. The ship itself is not just beautiful to look at, but it is one of the most advanced starships of the time period, boasting advanced weaponry strong enough of delivering the punch of Capital Ship-grade weapons for 1/3 the energy cost, the most advanced Hyperdrive of the time period, and heavily advanced sensor-jamming technology that can render the ship invisible to everything but visual range: all of that far more sophisticated than anything else currently in production by either Kuat Drive Yards or the CEC, all wrapped up in the design that invokes the appearance of a luxury vessel.

Now I'm not saying that Titus' ship IS an X-70b, but the design influence could have been drawn from the ship model due to the history behind it as a heavy starfighter masquerading as a luxury yacht.
Maybe have Twilight, Rainbow Dash or somebody ask an avionics question about spaceflight in general and have it run from there, Titus seems like the kind of person that would want to talk shop with about vehicle design. Maybe Titus is talking with a ship designer looking to draw some level of inspiration for a newer model of personal flight craft like a blimp, dirigible or zeppelin or possibly a new type of toy and is asking for Titus' input on the matter. Titus would then offer up some design aesthetics that were popular back in the galaxy and have the situation run wild from there however you see fit.
8283757 Winner winner chicken dinner! Now I get to take a break from editing to talk about ship stuff!
Titus' ship is heavily based on the X-70B and I'm really hyped that someone was able to draw the connection from the few descriptions I've made. When I started writing as much as I wanted to just say he stumbled upon an abandoned Phantom with the keys in it (so to speak) and one that was running after such an amount of time to me felt much too far fetched to be believable so I was left to try and cook up something else (admittedly what I came up with is just a little better). The design of the Phantom was something I wanted to preserve and, because the ship originated during The Old Republic I felt there was a little wiggleroom in terms of time between TOR and Rise of the Empire eras to make something happen. During my browsing of other ships from the RotE era I come across the Raider Class Corvette and a minor story started to construct itself, which I've compiled from my "Notes & Idea Dump" chapter and put below.
Good news! Chapter 14.3 actually starts out with a minor scene aboard the ship shortly after it was stolen! As for including a more technical ship discussion in-story I'd love to, provided I can find the right setting/characters to do it with. I'll see if I can brainstorm anything between writing or you're welcome to shoot me any ideas you may have via PM that may help me get the creative juices flowing.

Lira Blissex, daughter of Walex Blissez, was the designer of the Venator star destroyers we see throughout the Clone Wars which gave her the perfect backstory that I could tie in with Krua and Titus whom I believe I made mention of her as "the bratty engineer that didn't give him any credit for his starship designs" somewhere in one of the chapters, just can't find it atm. During the Clone Wars Grievous kidnaps Lira not only to scuttle planned improvements and upgrades to the Venator fleet but also stop her father from unveiling his latest design, the Alpha-3 Nimbus fighter, and "persuade" him to join the Separatists. Foiled by Krua and Titus we fast forward to the end of the war and Lira becomes Lira Wessex and her designs and ships are now used by the Empire, namely by the Imperial-class destroyer program, when she realizes they have no could ship to fulfill the anti-starfighter role. Looking to secure more contracts for Kuat Drive Yards she remembers a long talk with a young Jedi whom she assumes is dead about centralized bridges and other elements which leads her to begin designing such a ship. To this end she uses her connections and clout within the Empire being married to a Moff to gain access to classified records but also manages to covertly access much of what the Imperial Security Bureau secreted away from the Jedi Archives where she comes to discover logs of something called the Sith Intelligence which made note of a ship advanced beyond anything else at the time. She uses all of her resources to gather as much information as she can on this Phantom-class ship although in the end with much of the data lost or unobtainable she was unable to build an exact copy and must design the rest herself.
Even by Imperator-class Destroyer standards she pours an exorbitant amount of capital into her pet project because her fear of corporate espionage and a loss of the potential contract to another shipyard leads her to damage one of the segments of Kuat Drive Yards so she can order the repair of the orbital ship yards citing severe structural damage during a manufacturing disaster which leaves it entirely nonoperational when, in fact, the damage was superficial or minor at best. Construction on the segment allows her to funnel funds and under this cover she uses the "damaged" section which has been blocked off and secured from the rest of the facility to construct her prototype to completion, including with it one of the last projects she worked on under her father: an integrated navigational assistant. Shortly before she was ready to unveil the prototype to the Empire's investors a minor security breach was thwarted but Lira's fear once again lead her to cover her tracks so she scrubbed all of the design information she had compiled from the secured Kuat terminals and onto a datacard which she inserted into main computer for it to be transferred to the navigational assistant for safe keeping however the ship was stolen from the disguised hangar before she could recover the datacard. With the Empire beginning to ask about the project she was working on she had to design and build something to satisfy their curiosity of where the time and funds had gone so she came up with a close but much larger approximation, the Raider-class Corvette which used many of the parts already available in the Drive Yards so the cost of building the prototype was subtly rolled into the numerous other projects going on simultaneously.
Lira had spent many sleepless cycles scrambling so she breathed a heavy sigh of relief when the team sent to inspect the Corvette were impressed and began the process of ordering it into actual production, though she passed this duty off onto a subordinate to instead seek the services of a bounty hunter to track down whoever stole her prototype Wraith.
